Abstract

The population in this study was all 55 employees of PT Bank Maluku Malut, Ambon Main Branch. The research sample consisted of 48 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 4 application through testing the measurement model (outer model) and structural model (inner model). The results of the study indicate that: (1) career development does not have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Bank Maluku Malut, Ambon Main Branch; (2) career development has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, which shows that opportunities and clarity of career development can increase employee job satisfaction; (3) job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance, so that the higher the job satisfaction, the better the performance produced; and (4) job satisfaction is proven to play a role as a mediating variable in the influence of career development on employee performance. This shows that career development does not directly improve performance, but through increasing job satisfaction which then encourages employees to produce more optimal performance.

Abstract

The  primary objective of this study was to examine the partial influence of dual role conflict and workload on the performance of married female nurses at Saparua Regional Hospital. The background of this research lies in the fact that female nurses often encounter challenges in balancing professional responsibilities with family roles, which can potentially diminish their performance quality. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The respondents consisted of 33 married female nurses who were actively working at Saparua Regional Hospital. The sample was selected through a purposive sampling technique based on specific criteria. Data were collected using a five point Likert-scale questionnaire designed according to the indicators of each variable. Before proceeding with the analysis, validity and reliability tests, as well as classical assumption tests, were conducted to ensure that both the instruments and the analytical model were appropriate. Subsequently, multiple linear regression analysis was applied to evaluate the contribution of each independent variable to performance. The findings revealed that both dual role conflict and workload had a significant negative effect on nurse performance. This indicates that the greater the role conflict or workload experienced, the lower the performance level achieved by married female nurses.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between job satisfaction with job placement and self-efficacy variables in the TVRI Ambon environment. By applying quantitative methodology and associative design, the study aims to evaluate the impact of two predictor variables on a single response variable. From a total of 68 employees who are the population, sampling using the Slovin formula resulted in 40 respondents. Data was gathered through the use of a questionnaire, while data processing utilized multiple regression techniques through the SPSS program. The analysis demonstrated that job placement exerted a substantial impact on job satisfaction, while self efficacy did not emerge as a meaningful predictor of employees' contentment with their roles.
