Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the total physical response method on students' speaking skills in Arabic class II MI Miftahur Rahman Benowo Surabaya. This type of research is an associative research with a population as well as a sample of all students of class II MI Miftahur Rahman Benowo Surabaya, totaling 60 students with details, namely class II A totaling 30 students and class B totaling 30 students. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire totaling 15 items and scores based on the Likert scale to be given to 60 respondents who were carried out in google foam at the end of the lesson. This research uses a “google form” type of questionnaire and also an oral test. Data analysis in this study used the Pearson correlation test and simple linear regression test. This study uses Windows SPSS version 16.0. Based on the results of the Totally Physical Response method questionnaire in Arabic subjects, the percentage value of 55.43% is in the 50.01% - 75.00% interval. It can be interpreted that the use of the Totally Physical Response method in Arabic subjects is classified as good. Then the results of the oral test of speaking skills in Arabic subjects obtained an average value of 84.63% and a percentage value of 92% when consulted on the table of completeness criteria for learning outcomes, namely 86% - 100%. Thus, it can be interpreted that speaking skills in Arabic subjects are classified as very high. Therefore, it can be concluded that the method variable totally physical response (X) has an effect on the speaking skill variable (Y).

Abstract

This devotional activity is motivated by the number of parents who cannotaccompany their children to learn from home during the pandemic for various reasonsand occupations. Another obstacle is that students are unable to understand the subject matter independently, the support facilities are lacking, some students and parentscannot operate gadgets, there are even students who do not have gadgets that hinder infollowing online learning. Therefore, this student learning mentoring is done with the aim to increase the activeness, creativity, and confidence of students in learning. The method of implementation of mentoring is carried out in several stages, namely preparation, implementation of mentoring, and evaluation. With this innovation of multimodal learning, it is proven to be very helpful for students who were previously quiet, shy, and lacking confidence. After participating in this mentoring process, the participants become more active, creative, and have high confidence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the tendency of most students who are less active in learning PAI in class. Students are less enthusiastic in participating in learning activities in class, pay less attention to the teacher. This study aims to determine the influence of the application of the inside outside circle learning model in PAI subjects on the learning outcomes of class X students in the even semester of SMA Negeri 1 Genteng. This type of experimental quantitative research, namely quasi experimental design with the type of control group design that uses a quantitative approach. The population includes all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Genteng, totaling 371 students. The sampling technique applied a probability sampling technique with cluster random sampling (area sampling). The research samples were class X MIPA 1 as the experimental class, and class X MIPA 4 as the control class. Class X MIPA 3 as a research instrument trial class. Research data obtained from tests, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the validity and reliability tests of the student learning outcomes test instrument, which totaled 25 item questions, were declared valid and reliable. The results of the normality test using the Kolmogrov Smirnov test show that the data is normally distributed, and the homogeneity test with the one way ANOVA formula shows that the research data is a homogeneous population. The results of the analysis of simple linear regression tests in this study indicate that there is an influence of the application of the inside outside circle learning model in PAI subjects on the learning outcomes of class X students in the even semester of SMA Negeri 1 Genteng.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the habit of praying Dhuha which is carried out by students in MI Miftahul Ulum Karanganyar grades I to grade VI. The role of the teacher as a guide in the implementation of Dhuha prayer. This type of research is qualitative research. Collection is done by interview, documentation. The results of this research show that the habituation of Dhuha prayer and tahlil reading by the teacher in forming the character of students is suitable for the purpose, namely it is already running according to the school program. The teacher acts as an educator as well as an activity companion, consultant, role model, activity designer and problem solver. The obstacles encountered in implementing this activity are that there are still many students who arrive late so they don't match the predetermined schedule.

Abstract

The background of this research is to provide opportunities for students to participate in solving problems that are studied between individuals and groups in solving problems given by the teacher. The aim is to find out the stages of implementing the problem solving method in PAI subjects, to find out the cognitive aspects of students after the problem solving method is applied to PAI subjects and to find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in implementing the problem solving method to improve students' cognitive aspects in subjects PAI at SMP Jati Agung Taman Sidoarjo. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Interactive analysis which includes three components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification or drawing conclusions. The results showed that the stages of implementing the problem solving method in PAI subjects began with identification, representation/presentation, planning for solving, implementing, assessing planning, assessing the results of solving. Students' cognitive aspects increased after the problem solving method was applied, factors that supported the implementation of problem solving methods to improve students' cognitive aspects in PAI subjects, namely students' intellectual abilities, the active role of teachers and students in teaching and learning activities. The inhibiting factors are lack of student motivation, lack of teacher support, and students who are afraid or don't dare to express their opinions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using The Power of Two method on student learning outcomes, and to determine the effect of using the Talking Stick method on student learning outcomes, as well as to determine the differences in student learning outcomes using The Power of Two and Talking Stick methods in the subjects of the Qur'an Hadith class VII MTs Negeri 5 Banyuwangi. Based on the observations, information was obtained that teachers delivering learning materials still often use simple and limited learning methods. Teachers more often use the lecture method so that students tend to feel bored and bored because of the very monotonous way of delivering material. This research is a quantitative type research. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation, tests, and interviews. Data analysis techniques include prerequisite tests consisting of normality tests, homogeneity tests, while hypothesis tests use the Paired Sample T Test. The results of the Paired Sample T Test show that the calculated t value of post-learning student learning outcomes with The Power of Two method is -5,405 while for post-learning student learning outcomes with the Talking stick method is -9,477, meaning that the value of student learning outcomes influenced by the Talking Stick method is higher than the learning outcomes of students affected by The Power of Two method (-9,477>-5.405). Based on the calculation of the correlation between the two methods, the Power of Two method is worth 411 and the Talking Stick method is worth 814. Thus it is concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the application of concrete media on the subjects of mathematics of summation materials on the learning outcomes of mi class I students An-Nidhom Kebunrejo Genteng. This type of research is quantitative with experimental methods with pre-experimental research design one group pretest-posttest. The research population is the entire mi An-Nidhom student of the 2018/2019 school year which amounts to 167 students. While the sample used in this study was 34 students in class I. Research data is collected through tests and documentation. The results showed that there was an influence on the application of concrete media on the mathematics subjects of summing materials on the learning outcomes of mi class I students An-Nidhom Kebunrejo Genteng. This is based on the results of general hypothesis testing obtained t count greater than t table which is 11,109 > 2,037 with a significant level smaller than 0.05 which is 0.00. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence on the application of concrete media on the subjects of mathematics summing materials on the learning outcomes of class I MI An-Nidhom Kebunrejo Genteng students. Where students after getting the application of peer media in mathematics subjects of summation materials experienced an increase in learning outcomes seen from the postest results given after treatment in class. The results of this study can be used as a reference by the school to conduct a follow-up program to overcome problems in classroom learning, especially related to learning outcomes.

Abstract

The learning process is closely related to the learning methods used by the teacher. Learning methods are one of the main factors that can encourage students to understand the lesson material presented by the teacher. Appropriate teaching methods play a very important role in helping students understand the material presented. In fact, students will be more interested and enthusiastic about learning if the methods used by the teacher are interesting and easy to understand. One method that is often used in cooperative learning is the Make a Match method. This research aims to determine the influence of the Make a Match method (Variable This research uses a nonequivalent control group design pattern. The population in this study was 24 children. Respondents were taken using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method uses the T Test with the Paired Sample T test formula with the help of the SPSS 24.00 for Windows computer program. From the results of statistical analysis testing, it is known that the empirical effect of the Make a Match method program (X) on children's learning achievement (Y) is -2.966 (t count). The data was consulted with df. = N- k at the 5% significance level (95% confidence level) the critical value is 1.7958 (t table), so the calculated r calculation result is greater than the critical value r table. Meanwhile the negative sign on the calculated t symbolizes that the class posttest value data experimental value is greater than the control class value. This means that there is a significant influence between the Make a Match method on student learning achievement. So Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

The Yanbu'a method is a method of learning to read and write the Qur'an consisting of 7 Juz which are arranged systematically. In learning, students are required to be active, the way to read it must not be spelling, it must be firm and correct according to the makhraj and tajwid. Meanwhile, students' ability to read the Koran is the hope of Muslim parents. For this reason, it is necessary to have an appropriate method for learning Al Qur'an reading skills for students. Starting from this idea, the problem is whether there is an influence of the Yanbu'a method on students' Al Qur'an reading skills. This research aims to determine the effect of the Yanbu'a method (Variable X) on students' Al Qur'an reading skills (Variable Y) at MI Darul Amien Jajag. Pre-experimental quantitative research with one-group pretest-posttest design type. The population was 22 first grade students and the sampling technique was saturated sampling technique. Research instruments use tests, observations and interviews. The test instrument was tested using validity and reliability tests. Next, a prerequisite test is carried out consisting of a normality test and a homogeneity test used to test the sample. To test the hypothesis, use the T Paired Sample Test with the help of the SPSS 24.00 for Windows computer program. The research results show that the influence of the Yanbu'a(X) method on Al Qur'an (Y) reading skills is empirically 16.609 (Tcount). The data was consulted with df=21 and the significance level was 0.000, the critical price was 2.08596 (Ttable), so the calculation result of Tcount was greater than the critical value Ttable. This means that there is an influence of the Yanbu'a method on students' Al Qur'an reading skills at MI Darul Amien Jajag. Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

The welfare of rural communities can be improved by training their human resources to have the expertise to be able to process and utilize the materials provided by nature through a training program for making sticks. Stick making skills training processes stick waste into sticks that have artistic value and selling price. Which in turn can be a result of citizen entrepreneurship, and become a source of additional income for citizens
