Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh komunikasi organisasi pemerintah Desa Batang Batindih dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pembangunan desa di Kabupaten Kampar dengan beberapa permasalahan yang ada seperti penyampaian pesan yang belum efektif dan pembangunan yang belum dilakukan secara merata oleh pemerintah desa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komunikasi organisasi dalam membangun kesadaran masyarakat tentang pembangunan Desa Batang Batindih Kabupaten Kampar. Teori yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah Teori Struktural Fungsional oleh Talcot Parson dan Robert K Merton. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa komunikasi organisasi yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah desa dalam meningkatkan kesadaran kepada mayarakat yaitu dengan menggunakan komunikasi vertikal secara langsung dan tidak langsung, melakukan koordinasi dengan perangkat desa dan melakukan evaluasi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari cara pemerintah desa yang belum tercapai dalam melaksanakan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dan melaksanakan pembangunan di Desa Batang Batindih

Abstract

This article analyzes a conflict resolution model practiced among the followers of the Tariqa Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah. This research uses a philosophical and ethnographic method to analyze the social life of the followers of Tariqa Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah in Riau, Indonesia. Through these methods, this article finds that the Tariqa followers have established a conflict resolution philosophy called the Wong Tuwo. This philosophy appears from the concept of an individual as a peacebuilder that has to live and has character harmoniously, friendly, and ethically among human beings beyond ethnicity, culture, and religion. The "Wong Tuwo" provides sophisticated way the Tariqa followers solve problems and prevent potential conflict in the community. One of the essential things of this model is that peaceful figures, as reflected in Wong Tuwo, are believed to be role models for building quiet life, social interaction, and communication among human beings.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in educational institutions, highlighting their potential and challenges. This study examines the utilization of LMS EL Nino to enhance language learning quality in the Accounting Department at Politeknik Negeri Semarang (POLINES) post-pandemic. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and participant observations from 168 students and 5 instructors. Thematic analysis identified key challenges, including technical issues (80%), lack of interaction (70%), and academic dishonesty concerns (60%). Significant opportunities were also found, such as flexible learning schedules (90%), access to diverse resources (85%), and self-paced learning (80%). Students generally viewed LMS EL Nino positively, appreciating its convenience and structured platform. Addressing the identified challenges and leveraging the opportunities can optimize LMS EL Nino for improved language education in the post-pandemic era. Keywords: LMS EL Nino, challenges, Opportunity, Language Learning

Abstract

Berkembangnya berbagai bentuk teknologi informasi tentunya sangat membantu masyarakat dalam mendapatkan berbagai bentuk informasi melalui media sosial. Hal ini ditandai dengan muculnya media instagram sebagai media yang paling populer dikalangan masyarakat. Instagram dijadikan media publikasi paling efektif untuk digunakan. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui perancanaan dari kegiatan publikasi yang dilakukan oleh Instagram @kuansingbacarito dalam mempublikasikan sejarah mendulang peradaban di Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah wawancara dan melakukan observasi melalui analisis akun official Instagram @Kuangsingbacarito. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwasanya instagram @kuansingbacarito dalam publikasinya banyak menggunakan pilihan kalimat persuasif dengan bahasa yang ringkas dan sederhana sehingga masyarakat mudah mengerti. Kemudian beberapa makna pada gambar postingan yang dibagikan dikemas dengan sebaik mungkin serta membuat press release sebagai acuan informasi. Namun hal itu instagram @kuansingbacarito belum memanfaatkan banyak fitur yang disediakan instagram dalam memberikan informasi terkait sejarah maupun budaya, dan juga terhadap sejarah Mandulang Peradaban yang ada di Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi.

Abstract

Digital population identity innovation is present as a form of digital transformation of population documents, for solutions to problems related to population documents. The IKD application is projected by the government to be around 25% of users within one year, so efforts are needed to disseminate innovation to the community for later adoption. This study aims to reveal the strategy for disseminating digital population identity (IKD) application innovations carried out by the Pekanbaru City Population and Civil Registry Office, as well as to analyze the factors that influence the adoption of IKD application innovations for the Pekanbaru City community. The research method is through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the use of the IKD application facilitates access, verification of online-based population data, which is equipped with security features to provide more effective, fast and transparent public services. The process of diffusing the IKD application in Pekanbaru City began in early January 2023 with gradual socialization starting from the Pekanbaru City government, schools, sub-district UPTD, RT/RW and levels of society through the outreach program, where the Disdukcapil directly provided an understanding of the IKD application, and was supported through mass media, such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and websites. The social structures that played a role included the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Pekanbaru City Disdukcapil, Sub-district UPTD, and all levels of society. For one year, the IKD application has been used by 8% or 61,372 users of the total population required to have e-KTP in Pekanbaru City. The implementation of the IKD application is still not in accordance with expectations, this is influenced by the lack of public knowledge of the IKD application, ease of innovation, the use of the application is not yet optimal, the application is considered complicated and often errors, and government regulations. In the future, a strategy is needed to increase public enthusiasm and involvement in using the digital population identity (IKD) application. This study is an evaluation for the government in designing strategies so that the digitalization of digital population identity applications can be realized to support better public services.

Abstract

This research discusses the media publication of the 238th Pekanbaru City Anniversary in 2022 through the website www.pekanbaru.go.id. The 238th Anniversary of the City of Pekanbaru in 2022 will be filled with a series of activities published through the official Pekanbaru City government website and managed by the Communication and Information Office for Communication and Public Information Management. This research aims to determine the website as a publication medium for Pekanbaru City Anniversary celebrations. The method used in this research is qualitative. The results of this research show that the website is used as a publication medium for Pekanbaru City Anniversary celebrations in providing various kinds of information about activities, competitions and other interesting events. Information is packaged via the website in the form of press releases, photos and videos. In this context, the use of the website as a publication medium for the Pekanbaru City Anniversary celebration provides easy access to information for the public, especially regarding the 238th Pekanbaru City Anniversary celebration in 2022 regarding the activities being held.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji penerapan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) berbasis bina lingkungan di PT. Jasa Raharja Cabang Riau. Artikel ini memfokuskan pada program pelestarian alam melalui penanaman pohon dan bakti sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan PT. Jasa Raharja Cabang Riau menerapkan konsep triple bottom line, yang melibatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat (people), perlindungan lingkungan (planet), dan keuntungan finansial (profit). Program-program CSR yang dijalankan, seperti penghijauan dengan melakukan penanaman pohon dan aksi bersih-bersih Sungai. Program ini telah memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan sekitar, serta memperkuat hubungan perusahaan dengan komunitas lokal. Implementasi CSR ini menunjukkan komitmen PT. Jasa Raharja Cabang Riau terhadap pembangunan berkelanjutan dan tanggung jawab sosial.Kata kunci: CSR, Bina Lingkungan, Jasa Raharja,  AbstractThis study examines the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) based on environmental development at PT. Jasa Raharja Riau Branch. This article focuses on nature conservation programs through tree planting and social services. This study uses a qualitative approach with  in-depth interview techniques. The results of the study indicate that PT. Jasa Raharja Riau Branch applies the triple bottom line concept, which involves community welfare (people), environmental protection (planet), and financial gain (profit). The CSR programs that are implemented, such as reforestation by planting trees and river cleaning actions. This program has had a positive impact on the community and the surrounding environment, as well as strengthening the company's relationship with the local community. The implementation of CSR shows the commitment of PT. Jasa Raharja Riau Branch to sustainable development and social responsibility.Keyword: CSR, environmental conversation, Jasa Raharja

Abstract

This article describes the tradition practiced by the followers of Qadiriyah wa Naqsabandiyah in Pekanbaru, Riau. By employing a qualitative approach, this article finds that that the tradition of the Tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsabandiyah in Pekanbaru, Riau emerged from the tradition (custom) performed at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda al-Islami. Through the pesantren, the tarekat tradition is spread gradually in the practice of education and socialization. From the tradition of pesantren education, this tarekat philosophy is then socialized to the surrounding community's environmental traditions. Philosophically, this study also concluded that tarekat is a doctrine that is close to Islamic education. Pesantren as the center of tarekat development becomes 'icon' development of Islamic education based on Sufi character. In the contemporary context, the values of Sufi education are increasingly crucial, especially in responding to the patterns and lifestyles of consumptive ones arising from modernization, capitalism, and globalization

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven significant transformations in various aspects of life, including in the way Islamic da'wah is delivered. Digital media such as podcasts are now a strategic alternative in reaching a wider audience, especially the younger generation who are familiar with digital audio platforms such as Spotify. This study aims to analyze the da'wah strategy carried out by Fahruddin Faiz in utilizing podcasts as a medium for spreading Islamic values. The study focuses on aspects of message content, delivery style, audience affordability, and its relevance to the spiritual needs of contemporary society. Through a qualitative approach with a content analysis method, this study examines three selected episodes of the Ngaji Filsafat podcast on Spotify. The results showed that Fahruddin Faiz packaged da'wah philosophically, reflectively, and communicatively with simple but profound language, making podcasts an inclusive, contemplative, and relevant da'wah space for modern society. Fahruddin Faiz's use of podcast media has proven to be an adaptive and contextual da'wah strategy in responding to the challenges of today's religious digitalization

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategy of empathetic da’wah communication implemented by female preachers in fostering spiritual and emotional relationships with mosque congregants. The research focuses on the experience of Ustadzah Sri Maryatun, a senior female preacher at Nurul Iman Mosque in Jakarta. The method employed is descriptive qualitative research, using in-depth interviews and literature review as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that empathetic communication—manifested through personal engagement, non-judgmental listening, and appreciation of the mad’u’s life struggles—is key to the success of community-based da’wah. The female preacher in this study functions not only as a religious messenger but also as a companion and familial figure to her congregants. Moreover, her spiritual resilience in facing internal family pressure reinforces her dedication to da’wah. This study also presents a fresh perspective on gender-based da’wah communication grounded in humanistic values.
