Abstract

Brand equity is an important topic of discussion among working women as a form of self-existence. The purpose of this study was to analyze brand equity and cultural transformation influencing changes in shopping behavior of working women in Bali. A survey was conducted of 150 female workers in Bali regarding the context of understanding brand equity and their involvement in various cultural and religious activities in Bali. The findings of this study are: brand equity affects the consumptive behavior of working women in Bali. Cultural transformation in Bali influences the consumptive behavior of working women in Bali in complex ways. Brand perception as the only factor to be considered in shopping, or in cultural and religious activities in Bali; tends to give rise to new patterns of hedonistic behavior, which are not only among the class, but also among ordinary people. Overall, this study shows that brand equity and cultural transformation can influence the consumptive behavior of working women in Bali. This study can also be a reference for related parties to increase brand equity and cultural transformation influencing changes in shopping behavior of working women in Bali.

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji papan nama yang menjadi visualisai objek wisata Tirtha Gunung Mertha yang ada di Desa Petak Madangan Kaja Kabupaten Gianyar. Papan nama difungsikan sebagai media informasi dan promosi objek wisata di Desa Petak dan berpengruh terhadap daya tarik wisatawan. Penelitian merupakan studi kasus (one case study) yang dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Analisis kualitatif dilakukan dengan penerapan kajian prinsip-prinsip ergonomi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlu penerapan ergonomik pada pembuatan papan sehingga tidak hanya bisa terbaca tetapi juga dapat memberi daya tarik bagi wisatawan pengunjung objek wisata. Hasil penelitian juga merekomendasikan untuk menerapkan prinsip ergonomic pada penentuan tinggi huruf, lebar, tebal huruf, jarak huruf dan jarak spasi serta warna yang digunakan pada pembuatan papan nama pada objek wisata lainnya. Kontribusi dari hasil penelitiann ini adalah bisa menjadi rekomendasi pada daerah lain agar papan visualisasi nama objek wisata sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip ergonomic dan menjadi daya Tarik tersendiri bagi pengunjung atau wisatawan. Kata kunci: kajian ergonomi, visualisasi, objek wisata.

Abstract

In various cases in villages, data is not collected properly, is not up-to-date and is not accurate. This study project’s aims to analyze the role of village management and validity of village data in accelerating development in rural communities. A qualitative descriptive method with fifty respondents from 17 villages that were successfully sampled in Bali and 9 key informants interviewed provided information related to the management of information and data systems in Cepaka Village Kediri Tabanan. The findings of this project are 1) Updating village community data is the top priority for each village so that the program launched by the government reaches the target community in need. 2) Continous public sducation about the validity of data is very important in disbursing government assistance that is right on target. 3) Competence of human resources in handling village information systems needs to be improved. 4) The availability of facilities and infrasctucture to support the village information system is absolute. 5) The collaboration of several stakeholder in the PENTAHELIX concept helps accelerate updating of village data. The conclusion of this project is that data management and PENTAHELIX contributions play an important role in accerelating developments of the village.

Abstract

In 2022 rabies cases in Bali will experience a sharp increase, this condition shows that the government program has not been successful in achieving zero rabies. Therefore, a socialization and education program in community service was carried out by Triatma Mulya University in Cepaka Village, Tabanan, Bali as a form of Higher Education's concern for the environment. Preventive efforts are carried out using a participatory ergonomics approach involving all stakeholders from the government, academics, experts, community leaders, animal lovers groups and the community. The success of the community service program can be seen from the enthusiasm of the residents to take part in the activity. There were 56 residents who took part in the activity with 94 animals that were vaccinated, sterilized or castrated and from the pretest and posttest questionnaires conducted, it was obtained an increase in people's understanding and behavior towards rabies. The average increase in people's understanding of rabies is 7.47. Whereas in the behavior variable towards rabies, there is an average increase of 4.57.

Abstract

Desa Wisata Bunut Bolong Manggissari pasca Covid 19 mengalami kesulitan dalam memperbaiki ikon destinasinya yang sangat instagramable akibat keterbatasan anggaran dan sumber daya. Kondisi ini menyebabkan daya tarik wisata menurun, sehingga jumlah kunjungan wisatawan tidak kunjung meningkat. Fasilitas yang mulai usang dan kurangnya promosi memperparah stagnasi perkembangan destinasi ini. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya revitalisasi untuk mengembalikan daya saing dan meningkatkan minat wisatawan berkunjung. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah melakukan revitalisasi terhadap destinasi wisata Bunut Bolong yang stagnan dan menurun performansinya. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini mencakup dua bidang yakni revitalisasi sarana dan prasarana yang sudah usang hingga membuatkan paket promosi digital dan pengembangan sumber daya wisata melalui kegiatan pelatihan hygiene dan sanitasi, pelatihan guide dan conversation serta pelatihan K3 pada destinasi wisata. Hasil kegiatan ini sangat positif dan mampu mengubah performansi Desa Wisata Bunut Bolong serta mengedukasi masyarakat pelaku pariwisata setempat dalam memberikan layanan yang standar bagi wisatawan. Upaya tim Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) Universitas Triatma Mulya (Untrim) yang didanai DIKTI tahun 2024 membuahkan hasil yang optimal. Masyarakat kembali bisa berjualan di sepanjang Bunut Bolong karena semakin banyak wisatawan yang datang dan ber-swa foto pada icon-icon yang sudah diperbaharui. Kepala Desa Manggissari dan Ketua Pokdarwis bersyukur atas kehadiran UNTRIM dan berharap kegiatan ini dapat dilaksanakan secara berkesinambungan. Revitalisasi yang dilakukan secara bertahap dari Agustus hingga Desember 2024 berdampak positif bagi masyarakat, lingkungan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

The impact of ergonomic interventions and multitasking on employee well-being, particularly in high-demand hospitality settings, explores how these factors interact with perceived organizational support, an essential mediator that could influence employee satisfaction, health, and productivity. This study aims to discover the relationships among ergonomic interventions, multitasking, perceived organizational support, and employee well-being, focusing on employees of the Puri Saron Hotel Group in Bali. The study employs a quantitative methodology, utilizing SEM SmartPLS 3 software. Data was collected over questionnaires spread to a sample of 100 employees, following Slovin’s formula. The findings contribute to the growing field of workplace ergonomics by demonstrating that both physical ergonomic interventions positively, with the with the highest significant impact, and followed by multitasking for employee well-being, as the study is focused on a single hospitality group, the generalizability of the results may be limited. The enhancing ergonomic conditions and multitasking abilities, coupled with strong organizational support, can significantly improve employee well-being, particularly in industries with high physical and cognitive demands. this offering valuable insights into the role of perceived organizational support in mediating these relationships.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the impact of organizational culture and competence, as measured by work discipline, on employee performance. The population of this study comprised all ASN employees of the PPPA-PPKB Service of Jembrana Regency. The respondents were determined using probability sampling methods, with a total of 43 respondents included in the study. The research analysis technique employed was a research hypothesis test using path analysis. The findings of the analysis indicated that organizational culture and competence exerted a positive and significant influence on employee work discipline at the PPPA-PPKB Service in Jembrana Regency. Furthermore, organizational culture, competence, and work discipline demonstrated a positive and significant impact on employee performance at the PPPA-PPKB Service in Jembrana Regency. Employee work discipline functioned as a mediating variable in the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance at the PPPA-PPKB Service of Jembrana Regency. Similarly, employee performance functioned as a mediating variable in the relationship between organizational culture and employee work discipline at the PPPA-PPKB Service of Jembrana Regency. The hypothesis of this research is that the head of the PPPA-PPKB Service of Jembrana Regency is expected to prioritize organizational culture, enhance employee competence through seminars or training, and improve employee work discipline to achieve optimal performance targets. This, in turn, will enable the realization of the vision and mission that have been set.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the influence of organizational culture and leadership style on the work environment, with a particular emphasis on employee performance. The population under study comprised all employees at the Badung Regency Health Office, with a total of 73 individuals. The sampling technique that was implemented was the census method, also referred to as the saturated sample technique. This method involves the inclusion of the entire population as the research sample. The data analysis technique employed a comprehensive approach, incorporating validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and path analysis to investigate the relationships among the variables more thoroughly. The findings of the analysis suggested that both organizational culture and leadership style exerted a positive and significant influence on the work environment. Moreover, the findings indicated a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture, leadership style, and work environment with employee performance. Furthermore, the work environment was identified as an intervening variable in the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance, as well as in the relationship between leadership style and employee performance at the Badung Regency Health Office. In light of these findings, the study posits that the Head of the Badung Regency Health Office should endeavor to enhance organizational culture by improving employee performance and personal character. Consequently, leadership style should be enhanced by fortifying the capacity to motivate employees and the ability to regulate emotions. Furthermore, endeavors to enhance the work environment should be implemented through the cultivation of more positive relationships between supervisors and subordinates, the establishment of a conducive and supportive working atmosphere, and the maintenance of harmonious relations among colleagues. It is anticipated that these initiatives will enhance employee performance by facilitating enhanced collaboration and more effective utilization of working time.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the influence of leadership and kaizen culture on the work environment, with the aim of understanding its effect on employee performance at the Badung Regency Regional Revenue Agency. The population of this study comprised all employees of the Badung Regency Regional Revenue Agency, with a total of 262 individuals. The sample size was determined to be 72 individuals. The technique employed to determine the respondents in this study was random sampling. A questionnaire was utilized as a data collection instrument. The research analysis technique employed included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and path analysis tests. The findings of this study indicated that leadership, the work environment, and kaizen culture exerted a positive and significant influence on employee performance at BAPEDA Badung Regency. However, the work environment failed to function as a mediating variable in the relationship between kaizen culture and employee performance at BAPENDA Badung Regency. The study posits that the Badung Regency Regional Revenue Agency has the potential to enhance its leadership, kaizen culture, work environment, and employee performance.
