Abstract

The background of the research are lack of hygiene and sanitation in personal hygiene, food hygiene, and kitchen hygiene in the Garden Café kitchen at the Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua Bali. Therefore, the author raises the title of research on the application of hygiene and sanitation Garden Café Kitchen at the Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua Bali. The aims and benefits of the authors are to be wise and prudent in applying hygiene and sanitation in the Garden Café kitchen. In this study, the authors used qualitative data from primary and secondary data sources. Using research instruments to improve research results. The instrument were used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation, and also using qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The result of the study shows that efforts are made to apply hygiene and sanitation, namely providing hygiene and sanitation SOPs and daily HACCP in the Garden Café kitchen. The obstacles in this research namely  the number of staff who are undisciplined and do not comply with the standard procedure operational given by the management as well as problems that occur with food hygiene and kitchen hygiene, several methods have been carried out by management by holding staff training and weekly briefings and direct warnings for staff who still violate operational working hours. For kitchen hygiene, report directly to other departments to get direct treatment.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the influence of organizational culture and leadership style on the work environment, with a particular emphasis on employee performance. The population under study comprised all employees at the Badung Regency Health Office, with a total of 73 individuals. The sampling technique that was implemented was the census method, also referred to as the saturated sample technique. This method involves the inclusion of the entire population as the research sample. The data analysis technique employed a comprehensive approach, incorporating validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and path analysis to investigate the relationships among the variables more thoroughly. The findings of the analysis suggested that both organizational culture and leadership style exerted a positive and significant influence on the work environment. Moreover, the findings indicated a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture, leadership style, and work environment with employee performance. Furthermore, the work environment was identified as an intervening variable in the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance, as well as in the relationship between leadership style and employee performance at the Badung Regency Health Office. In light of these findings, the study posits that the Head of the Badung Regency Health Office should endeavor to enhance organizational culture by improving employee performance and personal character. Consequently, leadership style should be enhanced by fortifying the capacity to motivate employees and the ability to regulate emotions. Furthermore, endeavors to enhance the work environment should be implemented through the cultivation of more positive relationships between supervisors and subordinates, the establishment of a conducive and supportive working atmosphere, and the maintenance of harmonious relations among colleagues. It is anticipated that these initiatives will enhance employee performance by facilitating enhanced collaboration and more effective utilization of working time.

Abstract

Spiritual tourism is one of the main potentials of Gunung Salak Tourism Village, Tabanan, Bali, with its unique attraction being 11 sacred springs used for melukat (purification) rituals. This potential has not been fully developed due to limited digital promotion by the local community. Therefore, this community service program aims to improve the villagers’ skills in content-based digital marketing to strengthen the branding of the spiritual tourism village. The methods included problem identification, training design, implementation of training and content creation assistance, and evaluation. The program was carried out from July to September 2025, focusing on assisting the community in managing the official social media accounts pkmdesagunungsalak on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The results show an improvement in community skills, especially among the village youth, in producing photo, video, and digital narrative content. The village’s social media accounts gained more followers and engagement, while the branding of spiritual tourism through the 11 sacred springs became more widely recognized. In addition, local UMKM products began to be promoted through social media, gaining broader market opportunities. In conclusion, content-based digital marketing training effectively supports the development of spiritual tourism in Gunung Salak Village and enhances community participation in digital-based tourism promotion.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the posture or body position of Hindu lay man priest while working using the three body elements known as Tri Angga concept to improve the health quality. The health quality improvement was measured from the decrease of workload, fatigue, and muscle complaints. This was a real experimental research using the same subject or treatment by subjects design. The population was those who meet the inclusion criteria. Saturated sampling technique was used for the sample. Data were collected before and after the posture improvement. The results showed a decrease in workload by 12%, general fatigue by 24.26% and muscle complaints by 28.80%. Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) analysis results showed that there was a score decrease from six to three. Further research is recommended to conduct more holistic ergonomic intervention in the prayer process by considering the local wisdom in order to create effective, comfortable, safe, healthy and efficient conditions (ENASE).
