Abstract

Community service was carried out at the Widi Shop which was established in 2016. This shop sells various kinds of food and beverages, as well as various other household needs. Writing this report is intended to assist shop owners in making bookkeeping and inventory effectively and safely. Information collection techniques are based on primary information sources, where research information is obtained directly from first-person sources, while for data collection techniques, the practitioner conducts interviews and observations during the community service. Based on the evaluation of community service, it was concluded that digital bookkeeping was more effective, resulting in increased store revenue 12,1% compared to the previous month and the data are more secure than the traditional bookkeeping and the impact of implementing the activities are that Toko Widi is aware of the importance of digital bookkeeping and stock availability which mean the community service is 100% success.

Abstract

PT EX Batam Indonesia is a company engaged in the production of electronic parts. One type of product that is produced at PT EX Batam Indonesia is a waterproof jack and micro usb. High total production per month requires PT EX Batam to use effective production machines and high efficiency. One of the machines used in the production of waterproof jacks and micro usb is a bonding machine. This machine functions to automatically pour epoxy liquid on the surface of the waterproof jack or micro USB with a predetermined pour point. The room temperature factor greatly affects the performance of the machine and the type of epoxy used. The bonding machine for the B34 series is a bonding machine that has the lowest yield among the existing machines because the rate of reject units it produces is quite high, therefore improvements to this machine need to be made so that the number of rejects can be reduced. By adding a heater that is installed on this machine where the temperature can be set according to the needs of the epoxy liquid used, so that the epoxy can flow evenly. Research results from improvements made to the B34 series bonding machine were able to reduce reject units by 2% of total production, previously rejects reached 3% of total production.

Abstract

To be able to do their daily activities, a visually impaired person needs a guidance device to help him/her walk including to avoid obstacles on their way to the destination. The quick and clear instruction is given to the user is the most challenging problem to be solved. The visually impaired person should have simple guidance about the obstruction in front of him/her. Most guidance devices use simple sounds to give the warning without information about which direction the user should go. In this paper, an obstacle warning system based on image processing methods was developed. A guidance device for visually impaired persons using a single-board computer based on an image-processing algorithm has been designed. The main sensor of the guidance device is a NoIR camera. The distance measurement approximation model was developed with errors up to 4.3%. The test found that the proposed system can detect obstruction in the form of a person, the device also detects the stairs. The best detection obtains when the object position is less than 300 cm in front of the user.  The stair detection was carried out by using the Hough line transform method. The output of the system is the sound of direction that can be heard through the headset.

Abstract

PT Sat Nusapersada Tbk is a company engaged in the electronics industry and assembly. Sony Coin Battery is one of the departments that produce and package batteries which are then sold abroad. New materials or materials have their own barcode contained in each battery pack which needs to be scanned so that there are no errors in the delivery of goods from the store to the production department. So far, the existing database program is a database program with manual input without a barcode scanner. To meet the needs of scanning this new battery model, an excel database program was created with input in the form of a barcode scanner. To design a database store program equipped with a barcode scanner requires three stages. The three stages are data collection of the parts of the program, design of the program display form and coding design according to the function of each part. The designed program consists of three important parts, namely Incoming, Production and Shipment. These three sections are recorded in the excel database according to the battery model being run. The way it works is to scan the barcode then the data that has been typed and the barcode number will automatically enter the database. From the test results of the program, it was found that the program error rate was 4%. However, this program can be implemented to meet existing needs.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah membuat segala aspek di kehidupan manusia pun dapat terlaksana lebih praktis dan efisien, terutama penggunaan teknologi dengan kecerdasan buatan. Sekolah merupakan suatu lembaga yang berdiri dengan tujuan untuk mengajar siswa/siswi di dalam kontrol guru/pendidik. Sekolah sendiri terdiri dari masing-masing tingkatan, yaitu dari Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK) sampai Sekolah Menengah (SMP dan SMA/SMK). Selain itu, terdapat sekolah yang terdiri dari gabungan beberapa tingkatan tersebut. Dengan adanya beberapa tingkatan yang terdapat di suatu sekolah, maka semakin banyak pula jumlah siswa/siswi yang terdapat dalam sekolah tersebut. Hal itu tentunya dapat mengganggu keefektifan layanan sekolah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian penerapan aplikasi chatbot ini untuk (1) Membahas peningkatan keefektifan pelayanan informasi suatu sekolah yang memiliki beberapa tingkatan pendidikan, dan (2) Membahas solusi yang dapat membantu siswa/siswi untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai sekolah yang akurat dimanapun dan kapanpun hanya melalui aplikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur berdasarkan beberapa publikasi yang telah diulas sebelumnya. Setelah dilakukan studi literatur, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan aplikasi chatbot kecerdasan buatan sebagai sistem pelayanan dan informasi daring pada sekolah dapat meningkatkan mutu pelayanan dan informasi di sekolah menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Saat ini UMKM tersebar sangat banyak diseluruh Indonesia yang menjadi tulang punggung perekonomian Indonesia. Namun hal ini juga yang menjadi tantangan bagi pemilik-pemilik UMKM dalam bersaing. Mereka harus terus berinovasi untuk mempertahankan bahkan mengembangkan usaha bisnis mereka, jika mereka tidak dapat melanjutkan usaha dan bisnis mereka. Seiring perkembangan teknologi yang pesat saat ini, teknologi digital semakin dibutuhkan dalam bidang apapun termasuk berbisnis. Salah satu solusi efektif untuk menghadapi tantangan tersebut yaitu dengan mengembangkan website sebagai media promosi dan meningkatkan visibilitas UMKM yang dimiliki. Seperti Toko Agro Prima Motor yang merupakan UMKM yang menjual motor, spare-part motor, layanan servis motor dan alat dan bahan untuk bertani seperti benih dan pupuk. Pengembangan situs web ini dimulai dengan observasi dan analisis kebutuhan pengguna yang melibatkan pemilik toko dan pelanggan dengan bertanya langsung kepada pihak yang terlibat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dirancang model UI/UX yang memastikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan pengguna. Penulis menggunakan HTML, CSS, dan ReactJS dalam pengembangan situs web. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, situs web dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan solusi strategis untuk meningkatkan daya saing UMKM di pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

This study proposes the concept of IoT-based ovitrap as an innovative solution to control the spread of Dengue Fever (DF) in Batam. Utilizing a flexible-access ovitrap monitoring application via smartphones or computers, the Prototype method is employed as the basis for application implementation, with testing conducted to ensure its effectiveness. The hardware system consists of ESP32-cam collecting data from DHT11 sensors and camera, where the data is stored, processed, and then sent to the database. The software is designed to allow manual data input and monitoring through a web application, with Firebase Firestore Database serving as the data storage medium. Data collection methods involve direct observation of IoT-based ovitraps and related technology studies. Through automatic monitoring of temperature, humidity, and calculation of ABJ Container Index, the system aims to effectively reduce the number of DF cases.

Abstract

With the growth of increasingly innovative technology, new media have been created to convey information, namely web applications. Current technology is needed to disseminate information widely and without borders. A web server being paralyzed can disrupt the client's process of accessing information. Web server paralysis can be caused by several attacks, one of which is Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS). The author uses Kali Linux as penetration testing software, using the GoldenEye tool as this tool can be used to test whether a site is vulnerable to DDoS attacks. Security design with Cloudflare involves implementing multiple layers of protection designed to mitigate security risks to applications and websites. In general, Cloudflare Web Application Firewall (WAF) is placed in front of the origin server to detect and block web-based attacks. Cloudflare's DDoS protection service is applied at a global layer, securing infrastructure from hacker attacks. Leveraging Cloudflare's infrastructure, this design provides an effective and efficient security solution against DDoS attacks, ensuring the availability and reliability of network services

Abstract

The YOLO (You Only Look Once) method is a state-of-the-art approach in real- time object detection, known for its high-speed image processing capabilities. Recently YOLO versions have differed in performance, particularly in terms of detection accuracy and computational efficiency. The objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness and performance of YOLOv5 and YOLOv8 in real-time human detection applications using the SEMMA (Sample, Explore, Modify, Model, and Assess) methodology also. The dataset was processed through the Roboflow platform, which facilitated both the dataset management and the labeling process. Roboflow's tools streamlined the annotation of images, ensuring consistent labeling for deep learning model training and evaluation. F1 score, recall score, and precision score are compared both YOLOv5 and YOLOv8 to evaluate the performance of these architectures. The result of the evaluations shows that the performance of the YOLOv8 is better than the YOLOv5 which, YOLOv5 achieved F1-score equal 0.5865 (58%), recall score equal 0.83 (83%), and precision score of 0.4535 (45%). Meanwhile, YOLOv8 demonstrated better performance, with F1-score of 0.7921 (79%), recall score of 0.8289 (82%), and precision score of 0.7585 (75%). Base on the evaluations, we concluded that the performance of the YOLOv8 model is greater than the YOLOv5 model for Precision, and F1-Score, while YOLOv5 has slightly better score on recall. The contribution of this study is going to implemented into Audio guidance for the blind’s prototype that have been developing in previous study.
