Abstract

Chatbots have become integral components of modern digital services, facilitating efficient and responsive interactions between users and technology. As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to shape the way businesses engage with customers, the development of interactive chatbots is increasingly essential for improving user experience. This study focuses on the implementation of the Naive Bayes algorithm to build an interactive chatbot using Python. The Naive Bayes algorithm, a simple yet powerful machine learning model, is designed to classify user input based on identified keywords or text patterns. By leveraging this algorithm, the chatbot can provide accurate and relevant responses that align with user queries. The primary goal of this study is to enhance chatbot functionality by utilizing Naive Bayes for improved classification and response generation. Python is chosen as the programming language due to its flexibility, extensive library support, and robust capabilities in handling text processing tasks. The study demonstrates that the Naive Bayes algorithm is not only efficient in terms of implementation but also highly effective in delivering personalized and contextually appropriate interactions. Additionally, it emphasizes the algorithm's speed and simplicity, making it a valuable tool for creating responsive and intelligent chatbots. Ultimately, the findings of this research suggest that Naive Bayes plays a crucial role in advancing chatbot technology by improving the accuracy and quality of responses in real-time communication.

Abstract

This study focuses on developing and implementing a chatbot system using the Python Flask framework to enhance customer service efficiency at PT. NG Tech Supplies. The chatbot is designed to provide fast and accurate responses to customer inquiries, leveraging artificial intelligence and natural language processing technologies. The development follows a systematic approach using the Waterfall methodology, encompassing requirements analysis, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. Key features include seamless integration with order management and CRM systems, enabling real-time updates on product and order status. Black-box testing was conducted to evaluate system performance, demonstrating an average response time of less than 2 seconds and high accuracy in handling queries. The chatbot also supports a well-organized folder structure in cPanel, ensuring efficient management and scalability. This research highlights the chatbot's potential to automate repetitive tasks, reduce workload, and improve customer satisfaction through enhanced service delivery.

Abstract

Loans and credit are among the most in-demand banking products, making accurate loan prediction systems essential for minimizing bank credit risks and boosting profitability. This study proposed a loan prediction model using the Random Forest algorithm, with mean imputation and 3 outlier detection (Boxplot, Z-score, and Interquartile Range (IQR)) as data pre-processing methods. Using Lending Club loan data from 2014-2021 (466,285 records, split 70/30 for training/testing), model performance was assessed using accuracy, recall, and F1 Score. The proposed approach achieved a 95% prediction accuracy, outperforming previous models at 83%. The best results were obtained using mean imputation with IQR-based outlier detection. However, the determination of the mean imputation mean can be a limitation of this study. This highlights the importance of thorough pre-processing in enhancing prediction accuracy. The study underscores the role of machine learning and financial technology (fintech) in informing credit decisions and support incorporating imputation and outlier handling as standard steps in financial modeling pipeline

Abstract

This community service project aimed to support tourism development at Teluk Mata Ikan Beach, Batam, through the renovation of public toilet facilities. The previous condition was inadequate and affected visitor comfort. The project, carried out by a team from Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB) in collaboration with PT Telin, involved site surveys, design planning, cost estimation, and construction. The result was a significantly improved facility that positively impacted visitor satisfaction and the image of the tourist area. This activity showcases collaboration between academia, industry, and the local community in addressing tourism infrastructure challenges.

Abstract

Kursi roda adalah alat bantu berjalan bagi beberapa orang yang memiliki kekurangan pada anggota gerak tubuh seperti lumpuh dikaki, orang yang sudah lanjut usia (manula) yang tidak mampu lagi berjalan sendiri, ataupun orang yang sedang menjalani perawatan di rumah sakit. Salah satu kendala bagi pengguna kursi roda adalah masih kurang kemandiriannya artinya ada suatu saat dimana pemakai kursi roda masih memerlukan bantuan orang lain, misalnya saat melintasi jalan tanjakan dan jalan turunan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diatas, maka pada penelitian ini dirancang dan dibuat sebuah kursi roda dengan menggunakan remote control (joystick) sebagai pengendali gerak dari kursi roda agar dapat melintasi jalan tanjakan dan jalan turunan secara mandiri. Kursi roda yang dirancang dengan mengimplementasikan metode PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) yang akan mengontrol arah dan kecepatan pergerakan motor DC yang dilengkapi dengan sensor rotary encoder sebagai pembacaannya, agar pergerakan kursi roda saat melewati jalan tanjakan dan jalan turunan dengan kecepatan yang sama. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dirancang mampu bekerja sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Pengujian respon kontrol kursi roda dengan menggunakan metode PID akan menentukan respon kontrol terhadap setpoint. Nilai parameter Kp, Ki, dan Kd dengan error terkecil telah diperoleh untuk kondisi jalan datar, tanjakan dengan sudut 7,5°, turunan dengan sudut 7,5°, dengan berat beban pengendara 50kg dan 60kg. ----- Wheelchairs is a tools for helping someone or people who have a deficiency for example a lame foot, people who are elderly (seniors) are no longer able to walk on his own, or those who are undergoing treatment in hospital. One of the obstacles for wheelchair users is still lacking independence means there is a moment where wheelchair users still need the help of others, for example when crossing the road climbs and roads derivative. Based on the above reason, the study was designed and created a wheelchair with a remote control (joystick) as motion control of a wheelchair to be able to cross the road and the road climbs derivatives, in order to cross both of the road's condition with independently. The implemented method of PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) to control of the direction and speed of movement of a DC motor, also uses a rotary encoder sensor readings, so the movement of the wheelchair ramp is currently passing through both of the road's condition with the same speed. Results of the study show that the designed system is able to work in accordance with the purpose of study. Testing response wheelchair control by using PID control will determine the response to set point. Value parameters Kp, Ki, and Kd with the smallest error was obtained for flat roads, climb at an angle of 7.5 °, 7.5 ° angle derivative, with rider weight 50kg and 60kg.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis optimalisasi pemantauan partisipatif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik generasi Z pada Pemilu 2024, dengan fokus pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di TPS 9, RW 02 Kelurahan Sambau, Kota Batam. Mahasiswa Universitas Internasional Batam berperan sebagai pemantau aktif, sekaligus memberikan edukasi kepada pemilih pemula mengenai prosedur pemilu. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi langsung dengan Kelompok Penyelenggara Pemungutan Suara (KPPS) dan edukasi tatap muka meningkatkan kesadaran serta partisipasi pemilih, terutama generasi Z. Tantangan yang dihadapi pemilih pemula, seperti kebingungan dalam memilih dan kurangnya pemahaman tentang prosedur pemilu, dapat diatasi melalui pendekatan edukatif yang tepat. Penggunaan teknologi dan media sosial juga diidentifikasi sebagai alat potensial untuk mendukung pendidikan politik bagi generasi muda. Kesimpulannya, pemantauan partisipatif dan edukasi langsung menjadi elemen penting dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik generasi Z, dengan teknologi sebagai sarana yang efektif untuk menjangkau mereka di masa depan.

Abstract

Total nilai perdanganan e-commerce global di mencapai 81 milliar dolar Amerika di Indonesia, 24 millar dolar di India, 400 milliar dolar di Amerika, dan 510 milliar dolar di wilayah Eropa. Menjadikan sektor e-commerce bergantung pada hal yang namanya transanksi yang di lakukan secara daring atau Online. Usertip merupakan perusahaan Singapura berbasis SaaS yang menyediakan sebuah layanan langganan aplikasi kepada para penggunanya. Namun transanksi langganan masih bersifat tradisional dimana Usertip masih menagih para pengguna menggunakan invoice dan memverifikasi pembayaran secara manual. Dengan melakukan implementasi sistem payment gateway menggunakan library Stripe, dan metode implementasinya adalah metode waterfall, membuat proses langganan aplikasi Usertip lebih mudah dan cepat, tidak hanya dalam proses memulai langganan, namun juga proses tagihan secara otomatis, dan pada akhirnya juga bisa mencari pengguna di luar pasar yang sebelumnya hanya berada dalam satu negara yaitu Singapura.
