Abstract

The point of sale (POS) system is not something foreign to prominent entrepreneurs, this system has long been used by large-scale business actors, but generally, a system like this has complex features and its operation requires special personnel, therefore in the all-digital era Currently, there are still many small entrepreneurs using traditional processes in managing their businesses due to limited access to technology and costs, this will undoubtedly take time and reduce business productivity compared to using modern management systems. Then we need a POS that is easier to access and does not require large costs by small or medium-scale businesses, because it will be the right solution for business management with a lot of manual work automated by the system, such as profit and loss calculations, information on the availability of goods, information on quantities goods, and transaction processes using a scan code where the total payment and change will be calculated automatically by the system, of course with the presence of this point of sale system it will make it easier for small and medium business actors because the system is available in the form of mobile application which can be accessed easily by many business groups.

Abstract

Application-based services are currently increasingly being used, one of which is thesis guidance services for final year students. The process of completing students' final assignments is sometimes difficult to monitor due to the lack of time for supervisors and students to meet. In this research, it is proposed to create an online thesis guidance service system based on an Android application. In the application that will be built, all features will be tailored to the specific needs of users, namely the needs of supervisors and students in providing online thesis guidance services. Therefore, it is proposed to design applications using the Human Centered Design (HCD) method. HCD is a method of developing software that focuses on the needs of certain user groups by conducting needs analysis directly with potential users. By using this method, it was found that the application that was built functioned very well and met user expectations, where the level of user satisfaction with the features provided was very good.

Abstract

Health and Education are the main capital in realizing the nation's progress. Because quality and productive human resources are those who have a good level of health. People who have low education usually cannot receive current information about health, they prefer traditional health care such as going to a shaman or healer rather than going to the doctor. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of educational factors on public health. Data obtained through surveys and data collection carried out in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program or what we can interpret as sustainable development goals. 4429 data were obtained which included: economic data, health data, poverty data, gender data, education data and environmental data. The data obtained is used by researchers as attributes or variables to support decision making. This research uses a classification method with the Naïve Bayes algorithm with the accuracy value as the final value of the research. Data processing uses Rapid Miner software. From the test results it turns out to have an accuracy rate of 65.19%. Testing was carried out using k-fold validation, starting from k-fold validation 2 to 10. And the highest accuracy value was found at k-fold 6

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the field of education.  The need for effective and efficient learning media is increasingly urgent along with demands to improve the quality of education that is relevant to current developments. However, there are still several obstacles such as the lack of active role of students in the learning process and the limited learning media used. Learning resources in presenting material still use PowerPoint slides which are not yet interactive, resulting in a lack of student interest in learning. Therefore, this research aims to develop learning media, to support a more effective and interactive teaching and learning process. The method used in this research is Research and Development with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) which is a teaching design system that is centered on individual learning, has immediate and long-term phases, is systematic, and uses a systems approach to knowledge. and human learning. The result of this research is a mobile-based learning media application with the hope that it can help increase students' understanding and interest in learning in NWDI courses, especially at the Faculty of Engineering, Hamzanwadi University.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah mempengaruhi banyak bidang dalam kehidupan, salah satunya yakni bidang pendidikan. Teknologi banyak diadopsi untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Namun penggunaan teknologi tidaklah dapat dinikmati oleh semua instansi pendidikan, salah satunya yakni SDN 1 Senanggalih. SDN 1 Senanggalih masih menghadapi kurangnya alat peraga dalam proses belajar mengajar yang menyebabkan peserta didik menjadi kurang antusias dan kurang dapat memahami materi pembelajaran secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengusulkan untuk membuat sebuah media pembelajaran interaktif dengen menggunakan teknologi Augmented Reality pada pembelajaran sistem tata surya. Teknologi Augmented Reality merupakan penggabungan antara dunia nyata dengan dunia digital untuk menciptakan multimedia yang menarik. Dengan bantuan media pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi, proses penyampaian materi menjadi lebih mudah dan menarik. Penelitian ini mengusulkan untuk merancang media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada SDN 1 Senanggalih. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang minat belajar siswa. Merancang media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality dipilih karena dapat menghadirkan visualisasi yang lebih menarik dan interaktif untuk siswa. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality mendapatkan respon yang positif dari siswa maupun guru. Media pembelajaran ini dinilai mampu menyajikan materi secara menarik dan interaktif, sehingga siswa mampu memahami materi pembelajaran lebih baik. Hasil pengujian melaui kuisioner dengan melihat tingkat kepuasan guru dan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang di hasilkan yakni mencapai 90.4%. Hasil ini dapat mengindikasikan bahwa media pembelajaran yang diusulkan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of home-based industry actors in East Lombok Regency through training on the utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The main challenges faced by small business actors in this area include limited access to digital technology and a lack of skills in leveraging ICT to support business activities, particularly in promotion, financial record-keeping, and online product marketing. Using a participatory approach, the training activities covered basic computer usage, the use of social media as a marketing tool, and an introduction to e-commerce platforms. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills, as reflected in their ability to manage digital business accounts, expand marketing reach, and optimize the use of business-supporting applications. This activity is expected to serve as a model for digital technology-based economic empowerment in rural areas. Keywords: ICT training, home industry, empowerment, MSMEs, East Lombok

Abstract

The training for students majoring in software engineering aims to help students improve their expertise in web programming to prepare them for the world of work in the field of computer science programming. Currently, technical skills in programming are in great demand, especially for students majoring in Software Engineering because having a diploma alone is not enough to enter the world of work. Therefore, the team from the information systems study program, Faculty of Engineering, Hamzanwadi University, held training for vocational high school students with the aim of making a real contribution to society as part of the tridharma of higher education. The target of this activity is class XI students majoring in Software Engineering at SMKN 1 Pringgasela who are the main partners. The target and output of this activity is to increase students' skills in the field of web programming. The method used is Participatory Learning and Action (PLA). This activity is carried out by providing training and mentoring in theory and practice. With this expertise competency training, especially in the field of web programming, it is hoped that it can help students prepare themselves before entering the world of work in the future

Abstract

This research aims to produce a geographic information system with spatial data visualization containing the location of East Lombok souvenir shops, shop information and directions that will be presented to visitors or users. The research targets were carried out in several sub-districts in the East Lombok Regency area which have souvenir shops. This is an effort to introduce craft products and food and drinks that are characteristic of the East Lombok Regency area. The data used in this research is by collecting map data of the East Lombok Regency area using Google Map API and Google Map Direction Service, interviews with shop owners, data collection on coordinate points and several other supporting data. The result of this research is that a web-based geographic information system for East Lombok souvenir shops has been built using the Google Maps API which makes it easy for web users to find out the position of East Lombok souvenir shops, where there is shop information and shop position. , items for sale and directions to the desired store.

Abstract

Tobacco leaf drying is an important process in determining the final quality of tobacco as a raw material for the cigarette industry. This process is generally carried out using a tobacco oven which is influenced by two main factors, namely temperature control and oven ventilation. If the temperature and ventilation settings are wrong, it can reduce the quality of the tobacco leaves produced. To overcome this, this study developed a tobacco oven control system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) which is integrated with a mobile application. This system is designed to monitor and regulate the temperature and open and close the oven ventilation automatically. The DHT11 temperature sensor is used to read the temperature in the oven, while the DC Servo motor is used to control the ventilation. All sensor data is displayed in real-time via an Android application connected to the esp8266 Ethernet module to the Arduino Uno microcontroller. The test results show that the system can run well, where the oven temperature and ventilation control work according to the specified threshold values. In addition, the oven owner can easily monitor the condition of the oven via a mobile application, so that the tobacco leaf drying process becomes more efficient and of higher quality.
