Abstract

Abstract: This research entitled is Language Style of Song Lyrics of Dunia Batas Album by Payung Teduh Music Group. The problem of this research was “what are the styles of language in song lyric of Dunia Batas album by Payung Teduh music group. It was theoretically and practically useful for the readers. To overcome the problem, the writer used Pradopo and Hasanddin „s theory. This qualitative research was conducted from January 2017 to December 2017. The writer also used qualitative descriptive method. The source of this research was Payung Teduh song lyric which exactly in their second album entitled Dunia Batas. This album had launched fourteen songs in 2012 basically in Compact Disc form. The design of the album was green tosca with a picture of shady tree sketch where in the right down corner was the album title “Dunia Batas” and in the center of the album was “Payung Teduh”. The writer used documentation method for data collecting. Data analysis techniques of this research were descriptive analysis, data presentation, and conclusions. The writer also used triangulation data technique for data validation. Based on the research can be found some results such as collation language style were 4 data, metaphor language style were 2 data, personification language style were 10 data, metonymy language style was 1 data, sinekdoke pars pro toto language style were 4 data, sinekdoke totum pro parte language style were 3 data, allegory language style were 6 data, parable language style was 0 data and fable language style was 0 data. In conclusion, this research describes and proves that song lyric of Dunia Batas album from Payung Teduh music group contain some language styles.Keywords: Language Styles, Lyric, Album

Abstract

ABSTRAK: This study discusses the inner conflicts of figure in novel Memang Jodoh opus Marah Rusli. Discuss the inner conflict which occurs of each figure in novel Memang Jodoh opus Marah Rusli. In addition, this study also discusses from external factor and internal factor to evoked the inner conflicts of figure in novel Memang Jodoh opus Marah Rusli. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive method that aims to describe inner conflicts of figure in novel Memang Jodoh opus Marah Rusli to evoked by external factor and internal factor. The results of the research is a classification of inner conflicts of figure found in novel Memang Jodoh opus Marah Rusli. Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the violation of the principles of cooperation, and the implications contained in the novel 5 cm Donny Dhirgantoro work. This study aimed to describe violations of the principle of cooperation and implications maxim maxim violation in a novel 5 cm Donny Dhirgantoro work. This research is helpful in a practical, theoretical, and educative. The theory used in this research one theory Jacob L. Mey (in Rahardi, 2005: 49) pragmatics is the science which studies language usage conditions of human language that basically is determined by the context and background of the language that embodies it. Furthermore, there is also a theory of Karl Buhler (in Ullmann, 2007: 15) points out three aspects of language from the perspective of the speaker, the speech act is a symptom (symptom), which is a hint or indication about what is or what is going on in his mind, from the point viewing audience, the speech act is a signal (signal) that call or order him to do something acts and from the point of communication itself speech act is a symbol (symbol), which is a sign indicating anything intended by the speaker to be delivered and wrong one important thing in a pragmatic interpretation of the conversation, the concept of linking meaning and context of the conversation is the concept of speech acts (speech acts), a concept developed by Austin (in Nurgiyantoro, 2013: 425). This study is a qualitative research and descriptive method. Techniques used in data collection in this study is engineering documentation and technical notes. Data that has been found by reading and then analyzed by several stages, which collects sentences, selecting, classifying, implies a violation of maxims, and make conclusions. Data breach the principle of cooperation found comes from the novel is used as a reference in the study. The amount of the overall data in the study of ninety-three data. Sixty-four data breach maxim of quantity, quality maxim of six data breach, fifteen data breach maxim of relevance, and eight data breach maxim way or execution. The object of this study is the word which violations of the principle of cooperation. The results of this study as a contribution for further research regarding the violation of the principle of cooperation.Key Words: Violation of principle, Cooperation, Novel.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study titled Figurative Language AndCiraan in Riau Pos options Poems 2015. This study aims to find the figurative language and imagery in the Red Ports options Poems Riau Pos, 2015. The study used to assess options Poems Riau Pos Red Port 2015 is the stilistika study. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The object of this study is figurative language and imagery. The data source is the object of this study is a poetry text contained in a collection of selected poems Riau collection of poems, 2015. post also gets boon sagang in 2015 that in EDITORI by Zaini poet Marhalim Riau thinking about the many achievements in the field of literature. Poetry collection was first published by PT. SagangIntermedia, PekanbaruGraha Pena, Jl. SoebrantasPanam Km 10.5 Pekanbaru in Riau, the first printing of October, 2015. This collection of poems has 223 pages with 74 authors and 148 titles. To obtain the data of the study authors do observation techniques in the literature data that indicated sentence containing figurative language and imagery. The results of this study are as follows. (1) The use of figurative language found in the Red Ports options Poems Riau Pos 2015 is a comparison of figurative language (simile), hyperbole, and personification. Figurative language that dominates is the figurative language comparison (simile). The specificity of the figurative language of metaphors used by each author lies in the use of words that come from the environment, and the words derived from the author's experience of life; (2) The use of imagery in the Red Piers Poems Riau Pos options in 2015 found five types of images, the visual imagery, imagery auditory, olfactory imagery, motion imagery. Imagery that dominates in Port Mearh Poems Riau Pos options 2015 are auditory imagery. The specificity of the language of images used by the poet lies in the use of words derived from nature about the religious and socio-cultural dimensions.Keywords: Figurative Language, The images, Poetry

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out the cultural values available in Nandong in Indragiri Hulu Regency. The type of research used is qualitative with descriptive method. Technique of writing data in this research is interview technique, recording, process and direct information arts nandong Indragiri Hulu Regency. The data collected were obtained from 3 informants. The data collected were analyzed using Milles and Huberman theory with several stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion reduction. Judging from the average number of scores, the authors derived results from cultural values on data in Indragiri Hulu District found data with problems from the data found. The problem of the essence of the human work is found in three data. The problem of the right of human proximity to time space was found to be four data. The problem of the nature of human relationships with the natural surroundings only found one data. The problem of the nature of human relationships with each other will find as many as eleven data.Keywords: Art, nandong, cultural values.

ABSTRAK: This study discusses about conflict resolution in the novel Perempuan Suci created by Qaisra Shahraz. This study also discusses about internal conflict and external conflict are found in the novel Perempuan Suci created by Qaisra Shahraz. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive method that aims to describe how internal conflict resolution and external conflict resolution in the novel Perempuan Suci created by Qaisra Shahraz. The results of the research is a classification conflict resolution, that is internal conflict resolution and external conflict resolution in the novel Perempuan Suci created by Qaisra Shahraz. Abstract: This research speaks about to analyze masculinity female characters in a novel CEWEK!!! by Esti Kinasih. The method used is descreptive with identifying technique. On this research, the author used two techniques, namely technical documentation anddata collection technique with reading novel CEWEK!!! by Esti Kinasih as a source of overall data, marking and underlining each data in accordance withthe characteristics of masculinity, identify, classify and analyze any data included traits of masculinity in the novel CEWEK!!! by Esti Kinasih. This reseacrh data is the data amount to 156, from the research I have found in the novel CEWEK!!! by Esti Kinasih. This research found there are six characteristics of masculinity, which is active, bold, aggressive, selfish, rational and competitive.Key Word : Masculinity, Female Figure, Novel.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the Aesthetics Sound Poem in reciprocate Poem Competition equal Level senior high school/MA Praktikum Sastra Ke-25 University of Riau. The problem in this study is what aesthetics sound poem in poem who will be delivered by reciprocated poem competition participant. This study was aimed to describe what are the shapes of aesthetics sound in poem who will be delivered by reciprocated poem competition participant, district consisting of rhythm (metrum and rhythm), efoni, kakafoni, anaphora, epistrophe, alliteration, assonance, and onomatopoeic. This study benefit is theoretical, practical and educational useful for readers. The theory used in this study is the theory presented by Hasanuddin WS. The time of this research started in March 2017 to November 2017. This type of research is qualitative research. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method approach. The data in this study is poems who will be delivered by reciprocated poem competition participant equal level Senior high school/MA in reciprocate poem competition event by the Student Association of Educational Studies Program Language and Literature Indonesia Riau University submitted. The technique for collecting data in this study is the use of the recording technique and the validity of the data is obtained by using data triangulation technique. Based on research results,the authors found (55 data of the first phoetic, 64 data of the middle phoetic, 152 data of the last phoeti, and 55 data of the phoetic), 152 data of ephoni, 150 data of cacaphony, 29 data of anaphora, 7 data of ephyphora, 152 data of aliteration, 121 data of assonance, 3 data of onomathope. The results of this study indicate that the poems who will be delivered by reciprocate poem competition participant full of aesthetics sound, this is proved by full of aesthetics sound in poems who will be delivered by competition participant.Keyword : Aesthetics sound, poems, reciprocated poem competition

Abstract

Abstract: One of the gift of the almighty God to man is language, a language that has always been used as communication media. For example is in man daily life often command others to do things according to what he wants. This act of speech is called by an imperative speech. In this study, author analyze the imperative speech in Bumi Cinta novel of Habiburrahman El Shirazy. An analytical aspect includes shape of imperative speech in Bumi Cinta novel of Habiburrahman El Shirazy. This kind of study is a qualitative research with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used in this study are reading and recording techniques. In this study, author analyze the data by using a descriptive method to get clearly descriptions about imperative speech in Bumi Cinta novel of Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The imperative speech found in Bumi Cinta novel of Habiburrahman El Shirazy are imperative prohibition, invitation, the smooth, the emphatic, the hope, the wish, the commands, and the cross. The pragmatic imperative idea found in Bumi Cinta novel of Habiburrahman El Shirazy are the commands, the request, the cross, invitation, permits, prohibition, the hope, and the wish.Keywords: imperative speech, pragmatic imperative idea, novel.
