This research is based on the recommendation of literacy in schools by ministries as well as the advancement of digital technology that is able to provide new innovations for learning in particular in this case learning to read poetry. This research method uses Research and Development method with observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation data collection techniques and quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study in the form of learning products to read poetry begins with reading each verse verses up to the whole verse verse. The recitation of the poem is sung using the tone of selendang delima, dodoi, dan surat kapal. This media will guide students and teachers in learning to read poetry well and correctly and equipped with practice. Through this media, it is hoped that it can help to make it easier to convey learning messages in reading poetry. In addition, the virtue of poetry is able to correctly remember, so that the representation of values contained in the poem remains intact. The author hopes that this learning media will make students practice, think actively and critically in understanding poetry reading.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pembelajaran melalui kearifan lokal dalam bahan ajar dengan harapan guru di daerah mengetahui dan memahami bahwa daerahnya memiliki nilai-nilai kehidupan yang bisa dimuat dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Siswa pun mengetahui sebagai putra-putri daerah yang akan mewarisi segala nilai tersebut sebagai bentuk pewarisan budaya agar tidak menjadi sebatas cerita nantinya. Metode yang digunakan Research and Development model Hanafin dan Peck. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan teknik analisis deskripsi. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa bahan ajar dengan muatan tunjuk ajar Melayu yang layak digunakan dengan nilai rata-rata 4,29 dan 85,71% dari ahli materi serta nilai rata-rata 4,00 dan 80,00% dari ahli media. Dengan demikian didapatkan bahwa bahan ajar layak untuk digunakan dengan kategori baik sekali. This study aims to provide learning through local wisdom in teaching materials with the hope that teachers in the area know and understand that their area has life values ​​that can be contained in learning in schools. Students also know as the sons and daughters of the region who will inherit all these values ​​as a form of cultural inheritance so that they do not become limited to the story later. The method used by the Research and Development model is Hanafin and Peck. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the description analysis technique. The results of this study are in the form of teaching materials with a proper teaching point of Malay use with an average value of 4.29 and 85.71% from material experts and an average value of 4.00 and 80.00% from media experts. Thus it was found that teaching materials are suitable for use with excellent categories.

The aim of this study is to describe whether there is a shift in function of setting in novel Megat by Rida K. Liamsi from the former story Megat Sri Rama. This study took novel Megat by Rida K. Liamsi as the sample of the research. The method of this research is descriptive method. The shift in function of setting that occurred from novel Megat Sri Rama into novel Megat by Rida K. Liamsi was described. This shift is related to the habit of function of setting in real life. If the shift of setting happen in these two stories, so the events in the story would be effected. The results of the analysis of novel Megat by Rida K. Liamsi were some functions of settings were shifted if they were related to the events that happen due to the author's view of the past setting. So, it can be concluded that the place and time setting become the virtue of the events of a story. In the field of language and literature learning, language has the power to describe events that occur supported by the context of the setting. Without setting, the readers will have difficulties to describe the theme, moral, character and mandate in the story. The cultivation of these values greatly contributes to the education of character and literacy today. Keywords: shift, setting, novel.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi asesmen digital berbasis Kahoot yang dapat dijadikan pilihan dan inovasi penerapan asesmen berbasis digital. Selama ini evaluasi pembelajaran terkesan kurang menarik karena masih dilakukan secara konvensional Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Penulis menggunakan istrumen berupa angket pada penelitian ini. Penulis melakukan penelitian menggunakan asesmen digital berbasis kahoot pada mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket. Angket yang diserbakan kepada mahasiswa terdiri atas tiga indikator yaitu, aspek kemudahan penggunaan, kemenarikan sajian, dan kebermanfaatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan asesmen digital Kahoot mendapat respon positif dari mahasiswa dengan skor rata-rata 49,72% yang menjawab kategori sangat setuju, dan 36,74% mahasiswa menjawabn skor 4 kategori setuju, 13,33% mahasiswa menjawab skor 3 dengan kategori cukup setuju dan 1% menjawab skor 2 dengan kategori kurang setuju. Asesmen digital berbasis Kahoot sangat disenangi oleh mahasiswa karena mudah digunakan, menarik dan bermanfaat sebagai sarana evaluasi pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa.

This study aims to look at the balance of education at the senior high school level in Indragiri Hilir Regency with all the limitations as a district that does not have natural resources like other districts in Riau. Moreover, at the high school level is the average standard of the world of work today as the beginning of a career to become an adult human being. The research method is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques from literature studies which are analyzed using spiral data analysis techniques through purposive sampling. The results are 1) a sufficiently qualified budget 2) IPM which increased by 0.74% from the previous year 3) APK of 50.29% and APM of 69.67% still do not meet government standards 4) many teachers are fresh graduates, the status of civil servant teachers is still small to very many teachers who are not certified 5) more than 50% need minor repairs 6) 1/4 school need to increase accreditation. Based on these results, it can be concluded that education in Indragiri Hilir Regency at the high school level is still quite good.

Estetika yang diperlihatkan penulis antologi dari tipografi dan bahasa kiasan menjadi daya tarik untuk melakukan penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam makalah ini adalah metode deskiriptif analisis melalui pendekatan estetik dengan teknik pengumpulan data studi dokumentasi. Hasilnyaa estetikanya ada pada dominan penggunaan tipogarfi rata kanan yang diadopsi dari penulisa arab atau Al-quran sebagaimana tercermin dari nama pengarang. Pengarang juga melakukan pengembangan guna estetikanya dengan tipografi rata kiri-kanan dan sembarangan. Estetika dari kebahasaan ditemukan unsur serapan bahasa Indonesia dari bahasa arab. Terlihat jelas pengarang menunjukkan sastra sufi dari kumpulan karyanya ini. Suka mengulang kata sebagai penekanan maksud puisi. Bahkan terdapat beberapa kata-kata kotor/kasar sebagai bentuk kemarahan dan merendahkan hal yang dimaksud pengarang. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penulis antologi mengadopsi penulisan arab dari tipografi dan bahasa kiasan yang dipilih.

This study aims to analyse the quality or ability to complete gap text as a strategy for understanding information. The research method uses a descriptive-inferential quantitative approach. The research sample was 28 students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, FKIP, Riau University, which was carried out in 2022. The data collection technique was a test on gap text. Data analysis techniques included scoring and assessing the results of respondents' entries through descriptive statistics and decision analysis through normality tests and one-sample t tests. The results of the analysis of completing incomplete text as a strategy for understanding information were an average of 71,50 with the independent category. The normality test had a normal distribution through the Shapiro-Wilk value of 0,949 at a significance of 0,187, the t test obtained ttable -1,704 < tcount 0,125 < ttable +1,704 and a significance value of 0,902 > 0,05. The test results provide a conclusion that the quality of completing incomplete text can help in understanding the information in a text. Significantly, the quality of completing incomplete text had a positive impact on strategies for understanding information in the text.

The aim of this research is to investigate the existence of deixis in the translated version of The Great Gatsby and explain the deixis contained in this novel. This research is included in the qualitative descriptive research category. The research methodology used in this study is a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in this research are reading and note-taking techniques. Then the data in this research was analyzed based on deixis theory by Levinson (1983). The data for this research was obtained directly from the novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, which was translated by Maria Masniari Lubis. The results of this research reveal that the novel The Great Gatsby uses various forms of deixis, namely (1) personal deixis, which includes first person singular and plural personal deixis, second person singular and plural personal deixis, and third person singular and plural personal deixis, (2) time deixis, (3) place deixis, (4) discourse deixis, and (5) social deixis. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that the novel The Great Gatsby is dominated by the use of persona deixis.

This study aimed to provide an alternative multimedia option for learning anecdotal texts that are easy and cheap for teachers and interesting and memorable for students. Teachers get many choices in multimedia learning media, which are certainly the most in-demand by students in schools. This case is especially for learning anecdotal texts that have not yet developed. The research method used the development of Rusman, Dedi, and Cepi Microsoft PowerPoint. Researchers used observational data collection techniques, interviews, and documentation. The spiral techniques were employed to analyze the data. The validation results from 3 experts consisting of lecturers, teachers, and computer experts were obtained by 82% and 39 students by 84%. These results indicate that the product is feasible after development.
