Abstract

Bahan ajar merupakan salah satu faktor keberhasilan guru dalam mengajar. Bahan ajar disusun untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Namun, penyediaan materi dalam bahan ajar di sekolah khususnya SMP kelas VII masih minim. Guru cenderung menggunakan bahan ajar seadanya, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Dalam hal ini perlu adanya penelitian tentang pengembangan bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs. Fokus penelitian ini ialah: 1) bagaimanakah prosedur pengembangan bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs, 2) bagaimanakah profil bahan membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs. Selaras dengan itu, tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini ialah mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs dan mendeskripsikan profil bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs. Model pengembangan yang digunakan ialah model ADDIE, yang meliputi analysis (analisis), design (merancang), development (mengembangkan), implementation (menguji cobakan), dan  evaluation (merevisi). Data dalam penelitian pengembangan ini tergolong data kualitatif, yang meliputi: 1) data validasi tahap analisis keperluan tentang KD dan indikator pencapaian kompetensi, 2) data validasi tahap analisis keperluan, 3) data validasi tahap rancangan produk, 4) data validasi tahap pengembangan produk, dan 5) data validasi kelayakan bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi. Hasilnya, prosedur pengembangan bahan ajar model ADDIE menghadirkan sebuah produk bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs. Kemudian, profil produk bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs diberi judul Inilah Tamanku.Kata kunci: penelitian pengembangan, bahan ajar, membaca, teks deskripsi Teaching materials are one of the success factors of teachers in teaching. Teaching material are prepared to assist teachers and students in learning activities. However, the provision of materials in teaching materials in the school, especially junior high school grade VII is still minimal. Teachers tend to use basic teaching materials, thus impacting on the low learning outcomes of students. In this case,  there needs to be research on the development of teaching materials to read description text for grade VII SMP/MTs students. The focus of this research is: 1) what is the procedure for developing teaching materials to read descriptive text descriptions for grade VII SMP/MTs students, 2) how is the profile of teaching materials to read descriptive text for grade VII SMP/MTs. In line with that, the purpose of this development research is to describe the procedure of developing teaching materials to read the description text for grade VII SMP/MTs students and describe the profile of teaching materials to read the description text  for grade VII SMP/MTs students. The  development model used is the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data in this development research is classified as qualitative data, which includes: 1) validation data of the analysis stage of the need about KD and competency achievment indicators, 2) validation data of the analysis stage, 3) validation data of the product design stage, 4) validation data of the product development stage, and 5) validation data of the feasibility of teaching materials reading the description text. As a result, the procedure for developing ADDIE model teaching materials presents a product of teaching materials to read the description text for grade VII SMP/MTs students. Then, the product profile of teaching materials for reading descriptive text for seventh grade students of SMP/MTs is entitled This is My Garden.Keywords: research development, teaching materials, reading, description text

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the ability to read comprehension of text description and the ability to write the text of the students' exposition of the viii smp class in the 13th week. The sample used in this research is 100. The method in this research is inferential statistic. The results of this study indicate the acceptance of Ho in Chi Square Test meaning that the data is normal and can be continued on the parametric inferential statistical test. Furthermore, t test that produces rejected Ho means that the ability to read the understanding of text description and the ability to write exposition text students of class VIII SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru classified as very lace, medium, or high. very low, medium or high reading ability understanding of text description and ability to write the exposition of siwa text is known by comparing the authors hypothesis with test results t. Furthermore, a direct ANOVA test is performed which results in Ho's rejection meaning that there is a mean difference between classes or there are differences in the ability of each class. Furthermore, to find out whether there is a relationship between reading class understanding of text description and writing exposition text it will be done product-moment correlation testing. The test resulted in a correlation between the reading ability of the text of the description text and the exposition text writing insignificant.Keywords: Reading, Writing, Text Exposition

Abstract

Abstract : This study discusses the imamative imperative of Mamah Dedeh on Mamah dan Aa Beraksi on television stations Indosiar. The objectives of study are to describe the form and meaning of imperative speech of Mamah Dedeh on Mamah dan Aa Beraksi on television stations Indosiar. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. There are four techniques used for data collection, i.e. observation techniques, listening techniques, recording techniques, and note-taking techniques. The source of data is the whole speech of Mamah Dedeh on Mamah Dedeh and Aa Beraksi on television stations Indosiar. There are 98 data which consist of 49 imperative form, and 49 data imperative meaning. The result of this study shows that there are five form of imamative imperative that are : imperative orders, solicitation, prohibition, permition, and command. Moreover this study found that there are mine imperative meanings that are : prohibition, command, orders, request, appealing, solicition, expectation, congratulation, and recommandation.Keywords : Imamative imperative, imperative form, imperative meaning

Abstract

Abstract: This research is about Language Usage on Store Name Board in Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru City. This study aims to describe what forms of store nameplate elements, the use of foreign languages, the use of word structure, and word selection. The method used in this research is prescriptive method with qualitative approach. Sources of data in this research is shop boards existing in kecamatan Tampan consisting of 4 kelurahan; Kelurahan Delima, Simpang Baru village, Tuah Karya village, and West Sidomulyo village. Technique of collecting data of this research that is by using technique of shooting and technique of record. The validity of the data is obtained by observational diligence techniques. The results of this study are as follows. First, the store nameplate element in Tampan sub-district was found in 11 elements. The elements are: 1) name, 2) store type, 3) product, 4) product information, 5) address, 6) zip code, 7) phone 8) slogan, 9) advertisement, 10) logo, 11) . The name element is an element required in the nameplate. This can be proven from each store nameplate data in Kecamatan Tampan found element name in it. Second, elements of kecamatan Tampan nameplate discourse are: 1) nameplate consisting of one element, 2) two elements, and 3) three elements. Third, the use of foreign languages on the shop name, whether it is in accordance with the rules of Law Number 24 Year 2009 or not. Fourth, the use of word structures on store nameplate in kecamatan Tampan. And fifth, the selection of appropriate and appropriate words on the shop name sign in Tampan district of Pekanbaru city.Keywords: Store Nameplate, Elements, Discourse, Foreign Language, Word Structure,Word Choice

Abstract

Abstract : This study examines the ability to write explanatory text of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to describe how high the ability to write text explanation of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 20 and describe the differences in the ability to write explanatory text between groups or between classes. The number of population in this study is 140 while the number of samples in this study that is 104. Research results when tested using t test is the ability to write explanatory text equal to the value of comparison. The comparative score applied in this study was 68. Students' writing ability was the same as comparative score, which means that the ability to write explanatory text of grade VIII students was low. In other words the hypothesis is accepted. Then tested using one way anova. The result is that there is no difference in the ability of writing explanatory text of class VIII students between classes. Based on the results of research authors to note that the ability to write students are low because students do not understand the procedure of paragraph breaking is good and right. Writer presume students often make misleading clarification does not support the main sentence. Abstract

ABSTRACTUtilization of effective sentence very important in communication. Effective sentence be able to send message by writer or speaker so that listener can accept that message like writer or speaker meant. The problems that writer examines on this research is how utilization sentence out letter in healthy department Pelalawan regency looked by an idea, parallel, economical, coherent, pressure, logical, and variant aspect? This research purpose to descript utilization sentence out letter in healthy department Pelalawan regency looked by an idea, parallel, economical, coherent, pressure, logical, and variant aspect? Qualitative researches with analysis descript method, using gathering documentation technical. Work of documentation technical is collecting letter that become subject for research and then analysis exactly with problem research. Result of this research any 10 sentences it’s not economical utilization sentence, 161 sentences it’s not using pressure aspect, and 165 sentences it’s not using variant aspect. Result of this research indicated the utilization sentence out letter in healthy department Pelalawan Regency not yet effective. This showed by more sentence it’s not economical, not using pressure, and not variant on that letters.Key Word: Effectife Sentence, Out Letter

Abstract: This study titled Pattern Array In The Antology Poetry Of Matahari Tanpa Kaki. The background of this research is that researchs want to see how the students bulid a series of poems. The purpose of this study is to find out the tendency of the array pattern in the Antology Poetry Of Matahari Tanpa Kaki. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that describes the result of the research carried out. Based on research, there are 16 phrases, with the most dominant pattern being the noun + verb pattern. The clause with the most dominant pattern is the s + p pattern and 10 sets with the most dominant pattern are the noun pattern. The tendency of the arrangement pattern in the Antology Of The Poetry Of Matahari Tanpa Kaki is in form of clauses.Key Words: Trend, pattern, array, anology of poetry

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the Accuracy of Improved Spelling Use in Student Thesis of Faculty of Teachers Training and Education, University outside Education Study Program. This study aims to describe the Accurate Spelling Use Accuracy in the thesis of Student Education outside Education, Faculty of Teachers Training and Education University of Riau. The method used is descriptive method. In this study, the authors used three techniques namely reading, observing, marking techniques. In this research, there are 27 theses, from the results of search that the authors found in the Thesis of Student Education Outside Education Faculty of Teachers Training and Education, University of Riau. The study found that there are 281 inaccuracy of capital letter usage and 119 inaccuracy use of the letter in an enhanced spelling.Keywords: Accurate Spelling Use Acuracy, Thesis of Student, of Outside School Education.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to explain how the formation of Wakamono Kotoba is a type of abbreviation that appears in LINE JAPAN on Youtube. Wakamono Kotoba is said to be a variety of languages created by a particular group or society, used in daily communication processes with meanings that are only known to that group. The implementation of Wakamono Kotoba takes place in real and virtual life, such as digital advertising. Advertising is one type of persuasive discourse that aims to influence listeners or readers, one of which is the LINE JAPAN on Youtube which promotes application digital products in the form of video shows. The method used by researchers in collecting data in this study is the note-taking method. Researchers downloaded 140 LINE JAPAN on Youtube first, then searched, listened and recorded the data found. After that, it is described in the form of a description. The results obtained from this study are that in 140 LINE JAPAN on Youtube, 31 Wakamono Kotoba form of abbreviation.Key Words: Wakamono Kotoba, Abbreviation, LINE JAPAN Commercial

Abstract

Abstract: This study is entitled Conjunction Grammatical Cohesion Tool in a Short Stories of Hikayat Suara-suara by Taufik Ikram Jamil. The purpose of this study is to describe the types and functions of the conjunctions contained in the collection of short stories Hikayat Suara-suara of Taufik Ikram Jamil.  The benefits of this research are divided into three namely theoretical, practical and educative. The operational definition is research that leads to the conjunction cohesion markers contained in the narrative discourse text in the short story of Hikayat Suara Suara. The data of this study are sentence excerpts in the form of short stories in the data obtained by Hikayat Suara Suara. The research method used is a qualitative method that describes descriptive data.  The data collection technique used is documentary study. The data validity technique uses triangulation by using two validators. Based on data analysis that has been done, found 300 data types of conjunctions and 172 data of conjunction functions contained in the collection of short stories of Hikayat Suara Suara by Taufik Ikram Jamil.  on the use of elements of language rules in this case focused on focusing the short stories. Key Words: Grammatical Cohesion, Discourse Analysis, Conjunctions, Short Stories
