Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the comparison of teacher performance before and after certification at SMPN 1, Utan Sub-District. Type of this study was comparative study. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data in the form of data on the number of teacher performance scores before and after certification at SMP Negeri 1, Utan Sub-District. The source of the data used was secondary data obtained through the collection of administrative of work implementation appraisal document (DP3) at SMP Negeri 1 Utan Sub-District. Data analysis method using two difference test analysis means (paired sample test). Based on the results of data analysis, showed that there was a difference between the performance of teachers at SMPN 1 in Utan District before and after certification. Teacher performance at SMPN 1 in Utan Sub-District increased after certification. This was indicated by the value work implementation appraisal document (DP3) of teachers at SMPN 1 in Utan District after certification was higher than before certification.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the marketing strategy of coffee in Batu Rotok Village, Batu Lanteh Sub-District in 2020. Type of this study was descriptive. Type of data used in this study was qualitative data in the form of informants' answers obtained directly through interviews. The informants of this study were coffee farmers in Batu Rotok Village, Batu Lanteh District. The data that had been collected were analyzed using the SWOT analysis technique. Based on the results of study showed that the internal factors that become strength of the coffee products produced in Batu Rotok Village was superior quality compared to other regional production, but the weakness was that production activities to marketing were still done traditionally. Meanwhile, the external factor that becomes an opportunity for coffee production in Batu Rotok Village was that the demand for coffee was still increase along with the increasing number of coffee connoisseurs, but the threat was that more and more modern companies were emerging which become competitors in marketing the coffee products. The strategy that can be used was to improve the quality and image of products that are well known to the public and expand market reach by utilizing various social media for marketing activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership style of principal of MA Nuurul Jannah Plampang.This study was a descriptive qualitative.The subjects in this study were the principal, the head of the foundation, the head of administration, the chairman of the student council and the head of the class X-XII.The data collection technique used in this study was interviews.The data were analyzed using the theory of Miles and Huberman which consists of 4 stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the leadership style implemented by the principal of MA Nuurul Jannah Plampang tends to a democratic leadership style.This can be seen from the way the principal solves problems and took decisions.Solving problems and making decisions were always done through meetings, discussions, and deliberation with staff and teachers.The principal always actively participates in every activity in the school.

Abstract

This study aims to know the effectiveness and efficiency of budget management at Regional Personnel Education and Training Agency (BKPP) of Sumbawa District in fiscal year of 2021. The type of this study was quantitative descriptive study. The method used to collect data was through library method. The data used in this study was secondary data obtained from BKPP office of Sumbawa. To know the effectiveness of the existing budget in Regional Personnel Education and Training Agency in fiscal year of 2021, it was done analysis toward the budget of direct and indirect spending The results of study showed that the budget management at BKPP of Sumbawa District was very good. It was based on the realization of direct spending of 94.19% with ratio of "Effective". Meanwhile, the efficiency of indirect spending management was 97.85% with a ratio in the "Very Efficient" category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of people's income on the demand for health services at the Sumbawa District Hospital. This type of research is associative research, which aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. The variables to be examined are people's income as the independent variable (X) and the demand for health services as the dependent variable (Y). The type of data used is quantitative data in the form of respondents' responses in answering the questionnaire given related to the problems studied which were obtained directly from the research respondents. The population in this study were all visitors who requested health services at the Sumbawa City Hospital, totaling 100 people and were taken using the accidental sampling method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents to be processed using the SPSS application. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t test), and determination coefficient test (R2). The results of this study indicate that people's income has a positive and significant effect on the demand for health services at the Sumbawa Regency Hospital. the ability of the community's income variable to influence variations in changes in the variable demand for health services at the Sumbawa District Hospital is 83.4%, while the remaining 16.6% is influenced by other variables outside the scope of this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of morale and work discipline on teacher performance at SMPN 1 Taliwang, West Sumbawa Regency. The population in this study were all teachers at SMPN 1 Taliwang, West Sumbawa Regency, totaling 32 people. The researchers took the entire population to be used as a research sample (census sampling). Data in the study were collected through questionnaires distributed to research respondents and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis techniques, individual parameter hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous parameter hypothesis testing (F-test), and determinant coefficient test (R2). The results of this study indicate that work enthusiasm and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance at SMPN 1 Taliwang, West Sumbawa Regency, both partially and simultaneously. The degree of influence of work enthusiasm and work discipline on teacher performance at SMPN 1 Taliwang, West Sumbawa Regency is 89.1%, while the remaining 10.9% is influenced by other variables outside this research model, such as the work environment, principal leadership patterns and others.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the factors that cause bad credit at PT. Pegadaian Persero Sumbawa Besar consisting of education, employment and income. This research uses associative method. The type of data used is quantitative data in the form of the results of research respondents' answers which are scored (scoring) which are obtained directly through distributing questionnaires. The respondents of this research are all customers of PT. Pegadaian Persero Sumbawa Besar totaling 30 people. All data that has been collected will be processed using the SPSS program to be studied using techniques which include multiple linear regression analysis, individual parameter hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous parameter hypothesis testing (F test), and determinant coefficient test (R2). The results of this study indicate that partially education and employment have no effect on bad loans at PT. Pegadaian Persero Sumbawa Besar, while income partially has a negative and significant effect on bad loans at PT. Pawnshop Persero Sumbawa Besar. Simultaneously education, employment and income have a significant effect on bad loans at PT. Pawnshop Persero Sumbawa Besar. The ability of the variables of education, employment and income to variations in bad credit variables at PT. Pegadaian Persero Sumbawa Besar is 25.3%, while the remaining 74.7% is influenced by other variables not examined, such as character, interest rates, economic conditions, and others.

Abstract

This aims study to the strategy in developing the furniture business at UD. Abbas Jaya, Sumbawa Regency. This research is a field research that uses descriptive research methods. The type of data used is qualitative data in the form of research informants' answers regarding the object of research collected directly from research informants through interviews. The research informants in this study amounted to 10 people consisting of business owners, managers, employees and consumers of UD. Abbas Jaya Furniture, Sumbawa Regency. Data analysis in this study used the SWOT analysis technique to determine the weaknesses and strengths in the internal environment, and threats and opportunities in the external business environment of UD. Abbas Jaya furniture, Sumbawa Regency. The results of the research show that the furniture business of UD. Abbas Jaya, Sumbawa Regency has enormous potential to be developed. Through the SWOT analysis, several alternative strategies were obtained in an effort to develop the furniture business of UD. Abbas Jaya, Sumbawa Regency, namely improving product quality, providing optimal service, increasing promotions by giving discounts, preparing raw material stocks for production to avoid scarcity, and building relationships with raw material suppliers. By implementing these strategies, it is expected to increase consumer satisfaction so that it will create loyalty among consumers. Thus, the company will have immunity from competitors and win the competition.

Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of regional taxes and retribution on changes the Local Generated Revenue (PAD) in Sumbawa District. The type of this study was associative study. The type of data used is quantitative data obtained from secondary sources. The method used to collect data used was through documentation study. The data analysis tool used was multiple linear regression, partial parameter hypothesis test (t test), simultaneous parameter hypothesis test (F test), and the coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of study showed that the Regional taxes and regional levies have a positive and significant effect on changes the Local Generated Revenue (PAD) in Sumbawa Regency in 2017-2021, both partially and simultaneously. The ability of regional tax and regional levies variables to influence changes the Local Generated Revenue (PAD) in Sumbawa Regency in 2017-2021 is 41%, while the remaining 59% is influenced by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

Pengetahuan serta kesadaran hidup bersih dan sehat bebas sampah sangat penting untuk masyarakat perkotaan dan pedesaan.Kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk menjaga lingkungan akan mempengaruhi derajat kesehatan masyarakat di wilayah tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah untuk menambah pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan sampah ramah lingkungan serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Gedung Merdeka, Desa Selante  Kecamatan Plampang Kabupaten Sumbawa Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat pada tanggal 31 Juli 2023, dengan peserta masyarakat Desa Selante. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu ceramah,diskusi dan demonstrasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, masyarakat tentang dampak sampah, pemanfaatan alat pembakar sampah ramah lingkungan, dan nilai ekonomi sampah. Peningkatan pengetahuan, dan kesadaran pada masyarakat dapat mewujudkan penanganan sampah secara tepat mendukung SDGs Desa no 12 yaitu terciptanya pola produksi dan konsumsi yang berkelanjutan di Desa Selante. Respon masyarakat Desa Selante sangat baik dalam mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi, penyuluhan dan demontrasi seiring dengan dukungan pemerintah desa, RT,RW, PKK, Ikatan Pelajar Pemuda Desa Selante, yang dapat meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa terutama dalam menciptakan lingkungan bersih dan bebas sampah (Zero Waste). Simpulan dari kegiatan, yaitu melalui sosialisasi, penyuluhan, dan demostrasi berkontribusi dalam membentuk kepedulian masyarakat terhadap kebersihan lingkungan.   Socialization of environmentally friendly garbage management in Selante Village, Sumbawa   Abstract: Knowledge and awareness of a clean, healthy, garbage-free life is vital for urban and rural communities. The lack of public attention to protecting the environment will affect the region's general health. Community service activities aim to increase knowledge about environmentally friendly waste management and raise public awareness of environmental hygiene. The event was held in the Merdeka Building, Selante Village, Plampang District, Sumbawa Province, West Nusa Tenggara, on July 31, 2023, with the participation of the community of Selante. The method of conducting the activities is lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. The results show increased insights, knowledge, skills, and society about the impact of garbage, the use of eco-friendly waste burners, and the economic value of waste. Advanced knowledge and awareness in the community can realize proper waste management in support of SDGs Village No. 12, which creates sustainable production and consumption patterns in the Village Selante. The response of the community of Selante village was excellent in following socialization, dissemination, and demonstration activities along with the support of the village government, RT, RW, PKK, and the Selante Village Youth Student League, which can increase public participation in village development, especially in creating a clean and garbage-free environment. (Zero Waste). The outcome of the activities, namely through socialization, dissemination, and demonstration, contributes to shaping the public's concern for environmental hygiene.
