Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence and learning motivation on Mathematics learning outcomes for junior high school students at Maitreyawira Schools in Sumatra. The research location was conducted at Maitreyawira Junior High School in Sumatra, located in Deli Serdang, Kisaran, Batam, and Palembang. The research population is all students of class VIII SMP in the academic year 2021/2022. The population was 530 students. Subject sampling used proportional random sampling with a sample of 228 students. This study uses a quantitative research approach with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of emotional intelligence and learning motivation on Mathematics learning outcomes, either partially or simultaneously. This is indicated by the significance value of the emotional intelligence variable of 0.000 and the significance value of the learning motivation variable of 0.000. Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF THE SCHOOL ENVIROMENT AND LEARNING DISCIPLINE TO THE ACHIVEMENT OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN ENTERE BUDDHA FONDATION SCHOOL IN TANGERANG CITY ". Meanwhile, this study aims to examine 1) Is there an effect of School Enviroment on learning achievement, 2) is there an effect of Learning discipline on learning achievement, and 3) is there an effect of School Enviroment and Learning discipline on learning achievement together. This type of research includes quantitative research with conclusions drawn through statistical analysis. The research location is in private junior high schools throughout the city of Tangerang, the population is Class V totaling 171 students, and the research sample totaling 120 students. The data collection technique used a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques include: (1) instrument test, validity and reliability test. (2) Research prerequisite test, consisting of normality and linearity tests. (3) Homogeneity test, 4) Hypothesis test, using multiple regression test, partial regression test, F/simultaneous test and coefficient of determination test. Based on the results of the study: There is a positive and very significant effect between School Enviroment (X1) on Learning Achievement (Y) with a correlation coefficient score of ry1 = 0.678a, the influence of High Learning discipline (X1) will have a strong influence on Learning Achievement (Y) private Elementary School students in the city of Tangerang with a coefficient of determination score of r2y1 = 0.654, a contribution or influence of 65,4%, the remaining 34,6% was contributed by other variables that have a positive relationship with an increase in student achievement (Y) Elementary School in Tangerang City., the effect of School Enviroment (X1) and Learning discipline (X2) together with strong learning achievement (Y) will have a large relationship with learning achievement (Y), with a determination coefficient score of r2y3 = 0.781. Contribution or influence of 34,6%, the remaining 65,4% was contributed by other variables that have a relationship with increasing learning achievement (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to examine 1) Is there an effect of learning motivation on learning achievement, 2) is there an effect of learning style on learning achievement, and 3) is there an effect of learning motivation and learning style on learning achievement together. This type of research includes quantitative research with conclusions drawn through statistical analysis. The research location is in private junior high schools throughout the city of Tangerang, the population is 263 students, and the research sample is 159 students. Based on the results of the study: (1) There is a positive and very significant effect between Learning Motivation (X1) on Learning Achievement (Y) with a correlation coefficient score of ry1 = 0.773a, the influence of High Motivation (X1) will have a strong influence on Learning Achievement (Y) private junior high school students in the city of Tangerang with a determination coefficient score of r2y1 = 0.595. 2) There is a positive and very significant relationship between Learning Style (X2) on Learning Achievement (Y) of private junior high school students in the city of Tangerang, with a correlation coefficient score of ry2 = 0.761a, on Learning Style (X2) High will provide a strong relationship on the increase in Learning Achievement (Y), with a coefficient of determination score produced by r2y2 = 0.579. 3) and there is a positive and very significant effect between motivation (X1) and learning style (X2) together on learning achievement (Y) with a correlation coefficient score of ry1.2 = 0.799a, the effect of learning motivation (X1) and Learning style (X2) together with strong learning achievement (Y) will have a large relationship with learning achievement (Y), with a determination coefficient score of r2y3 = 0.639. Contribution or influence of 6.39%, the remaining 36.1% was contributed by other variables that have a relationship with increasing learning achievement (Y).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and learning independence on the learning outcomes of students in Chong-De Buddhist Sunday School (SMB) throughout North Sumatra. The independent variables in this study are emotional intelligence (X1) and learning independence (X2), and the dependent variable is learning outcomes (Y). In this research, the researcher used quantitative descriptive method. The population of this study was 325 students, the researcher took 179 students as a sample. This study uses primary data, data is collected by distributing questionnaires to respondents via google forms. Testing the research hypothesis using SPSS 20.0 by testing the normality of the hypothesis, the significance, and the regression equation. The analysis method used is by using linear regression analysis and multiple correlation. The result of this study indicates that there is an effect of emotional intelligence on students’ learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient score of ry1 = 0,880. Learning independence has a positive effect on students’ learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient score of ry2 = 0.884. Emotional intelligence (X1) and learning independence (X2) have a positive and significant effect on Buddhist Sunday School (SMB) Chong-De North Sumatra students’ learning outcomes (Y) with a correlation coefficient score of ry1,2 = 0.905. This shows that emotional intelligence and learning independence have a significant impact with learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan terhadap 119 orang Siswa SMA  yang terpilih secara multi stage random sampling dari 120 Siswa SMA Sekolah Yayasan Buddhis Se-Jakarta Barat. Penelitian  menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Analisis data menggunakan regresi dan korelasi parsial sederhana, korelasi ganda. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang positif  dan signifikan terhadap variabel bebas Kepribadian dan Komunikasi Interpersonal secara bersama-sama dengan variabel terikat Prestasi siswa, hasil perhitungan koefisien kolerasi sebesar ry.12 = 0,757  dan koefisien determinan sebesar r2y.12 = 0,573 dan berkontribusi terhadap prestasi siswa sebesar 57,3 %, terdapat faktor-faktor lain yang berpengaruh sebesar 42,7 %  terhadap Prestasi siswa. Sedangkan pengaruh secara sendiri-sendiri dari variabel bebas, Kepribadian memiliki pengaruh sangat positif dan signifikan dengan Prestasi siswa dibandingkan dengan variabel lainnya yaitu koefisien korelasi: ry.1 = 0,699 dan koefisien determinan r2y.1=0,489, dan kontribusi terhadap Prestasi siswa 48,9 %. Sisanya sebanyak 51.1% disumbangkan oleh variabel lain yang memiliki hubungan positif dengan prestasi siswa. Sedangkan variabel Komunikasi  Interpersonal, koefisien korelasi sebesar ry.2= 0,745 dan koefisien determinan r2y.2= 0,556, berkontribusi terhadap Prestasi siswa sebesar 55,6 %, sedangkan sebesar 44,4 % disumbangkan oleh variabel-variabel lain yang memiliki hubungan dengan peningkatan Prestasi siswa, yang mempunyai hubungan kuat positif dan signifikan  dengan Prestasi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin belajar dan motivasi diri terhadap kualitas pembelajaran mahasiswa S1 PKB di PTKB swasta se-Jabodetabek. Populasi penelitian diambil dari populasi siswa Pendidikan Agama Buddha sebanyak 260 orang, dan menggunakan random sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 157 mahasiswa. Hasil temuannya adalah: terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan disiplin belajar (X1) terhadap kualitas pembelajaran (Y) mahasiswa S1 PKB PTKB Swasta se-Jabodetabek; ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara nilai variabel motivasi diri dengan kualitas pembelajaran mahasiswa PKB di PTKB se-Jabodetabek; dan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara variabel nilai motivasi diri dan motivasi diri terhadap kualitas pembelajaran mahasiswa S1 PKB di PTKB se-Jabodetabek. Analisis hipotesis pengujian ini, bahwa kedisiplinan belajar dan motivasi diri yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa akan berdampak pada peningkatan dan pengembangan ide/gagasan baru, berpikir kritis, pembelajaran kreatif di Perguruan Tinggi Buddhis sehingga kualitas pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa optimal.

Abstract

The recent surge in forest and land fires across Kalimantan has had far-reaching impacts, notably on the educational landscape, including the process of teaching and learning in schools. This quantitative study aims to explore the direct and indirect influences of parental attention and learning facilities on the academic achievements of elementary school students. The investigation incorporates the mediating role of motivation and utilizes a survey methodology with questionnaires as the primary data collection tool. The research, conducted in the Timpah sub-district of Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan, involves a sample of 200 elementary school students. Employing the Smart PLS 4 structural equation model, the study examines seven hypotheses, revealing the significant effects of parental attention and learning facilities on the efficacy of online learning processes. The findings aspire to impart valuable insights to educators and parents, underscoring the pivotal roles of parental engagement and the provision of adequate facilities in ensuring successful learning outcomes.
