Abstract

AbstrakPelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial-Lanjut Usia (LKS-LU) Pangesti Desa Ketindan Kecamatan Lawang Kabupaten Malang Provinsi Jawa Timur merupakan upaya untuk membuat sebuah sistem informasi catatan keperawatan berbasis website (pangesti.mikspwm.com) sebagai solusi pencatatan keperawatan lansia yang selama ini masih terlaksana secara manual menggunakan kertas (paperbased). Pengabdian masyarakat ini selain menyediakan sistem informasi juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan caregiver formal dalam mengoperasikan sistem informasi sebagai tindaklanjut adanya penerapan sistem informasi yang baru dibuat dan diimplementasikan. Peningkatan keterampilan caregiver formal dalam mengoperasikan sistem informasi memberikan implikasi penguatan kapasitas LKS-LU sebagai sebuah organisasi dalam mengelola dan menyediakan data kesehatan lansia. Hal ini mendukung pengambilan keputusan, pemantauan, dan pelaporan yang lebih baik di dalam institusi. Peningkatan keterampilan dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan bagi caregiver formal dengan metode ceramah tanya jawab beserta praktik secara langsung menggunakan perangkat laptop dan telepon seluler. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam 8 (delapan) kali pertemuan tanggal 2 sampai dengan 18 September 2025 melibatkan caregiver formal sejumlah 15 (lima belas) orang. Evaluasi pencapaian keterampilan dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test dengan instrumen checklist sejumlah 15 pertanyaan. Evaluasi keberfungsian sistem informasi menggunakan metode Blackbox. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan rata-rata skor keterampilan pre-test dan post-test adalah 54,20 dan 91,13 dengan capaian peningkatan keterampilan caregiver formal tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,81, dengan capaian efektivitas kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tergolong efektif ditunjukkan nilai persentase N-Gain sebesar 81,21%. Diperolehnya keterampilan caregiver formal dalam mengoperasikan sistem informasi meningkatkan kapasitas manajemen dalam pengelolaan dan penyediaan data kesehatan lansia. Disarankan pihak manajemen lebih meningkatkan keterampilan caregiver formal dalam mengoperasikan sistem informasi dengan rutin menggunakan sistem informasi tersebut setiap hari serta mengembangkan keberlanjutan sistem informasi tersebut. Kata kunci: caregiver formal; catatan keperawatan; lansia; sistem informasi. Abstract The implementation of community service activities at the Pangesti Social Welfare Institution for the Elderly (LKS-LU), located in Ketindan Village, Lawang District, Malang Regency, East Java Province, constitutes an initiative to develop a web-based nursing record information system (pangesti.mikspwm.com) as a solution to elderly nursing documentation, which has previously been conducted manually using paper-based methods. In addition to providing the information system, this program aims to enhance the competencies of formal caregivers in operating the newly developed platform, thereby ensuring its effective adoption and utilization. Strengthening caregiver skills in system operation carries significant implications for reinforcing the organizational capacity of LKS-LU in managing and providing elderly health data, ultimately supporting improved decision-making, monitoring, and reporting within the institution. Capacity building was undertaken through structured training sessions employing lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice using laptops and mobile devices. The training was conducted in eight sessions between September 2 and 18, 2025, involving 15 formal caregivers. Skill achievement was evaluated through pre-test and post-test assessments using a 15-item checklist, while system functionality was assessed using the Blackbox method. The results demonstrated average pre-test and post-test scores of 54.20 and 91.13, respectively, with a high level of skill improvement reflected in an average N-Gain score of 0.81. The effectiveness of the community service program was further confirmed by an N-Gain percentage of 81.21%, categorized as effective. The acquisition of caregiver competencies in operating the information system has strengthened management capacity in organizing and providing elderly health data. It is recommended that institutional management continue to enhance caregiver skills by encouraging routine daily use of the system and ensuring the sustainability of the information system through ongoing development. Keywords: elderly; formal caregiver; information system; nursing documentation.

Abstract

Sistem pendaftaran pasien berbasis web di Midocare menghadapi tantangan seperti ketergantungan pada koneksi internet, kurangnya transparansi biaya, dan tidak adanya fitur pemindaian KTP. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pendaftaran rawat jalan berbasis web dengan fitur Optical Character Recognition (OCR) untuk otomatisasi input data identitas. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model Waterfall. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan petugas dan observasi. Perancangan sistem mencakup Flowchart, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), dan Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD). Pengembangan menggunakan PHP, MySQL, dan Tesseract OCR. Pengujian dilakukan dengan Blackbox Testing pada 14 skenario uji fungsional. Sistem baru berhasil mengintegrasikan fitur pemindaian KTP berbasis OCR yang mengekstrak data secara otomatis. Seluruh fungsi, termasuk pendaftaran pasien, estimasi biaya, antrian otomatis, dan ekspor laporan, berjalan sempurna (100% berhasil). Sistem juga mendukung operasi offline untuk mengatasi masalah koneksi. Implementasi sistem meningkatkan efisiensi pendaftaran, transparansi biaya, dan akurasi data. Hasil ini konsisten dengan penelitian sebelumnya tentang manfaat OCR dan antrian digital. Sistem terbukti efektif, dengan rekomendasi integrasi BPJS dan modul rekam medis elektronik ke depannya.

Abstract

Introduction: Older people in nursing home can experience emergency condition due to trauma or non-trauma. Meanwhile, caregivers acted as first responder whom provide immediate assistance to reduce morbidity and mortality rates for the elderly in care. Furthermore, regularly documenting the examination results online will facilitate monitoring of the elderly's condition. Objective: This community service aims to educate and train caregivers to provide first aid in emergency situations, as well as the application of periodic documentation of elderly vital signs through website-based medical record. Method: This community service was implemented by the Community Service Team from STIKes Panti Waluya Malang and fully funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Technology in the 2025 funding year at LKS-LU Pangesti Lawang, the partner in this activity was their 14 formal caregivers.  This activities was designed to be implemented in eight meetings to improve caregiver’s knowledge and skills. In order to improve caregiver’s knowledge, lecture, discussion, question and answer method was used. Meanwhile to improve caregiver’s skill, demonstration, and simulation methods was used. The community provider was use questionnaire to evaluate the knowledge, and observation sheet to evaluate caregiver’s skill. The pre and post-test score were calculated, and categorized using N-Gain score. Result: Based on the calculation of the pre- and post-test score, the average N-Gain was 0.81 (N-Gain >0.7) for the theory, so it can be concluded that this activity has high effectiveness in improving caregiver knowledge. In addition, the average N-Gain for BHD performance was 0.8 and the N-Gain for choking performance was 0.9. Both have N-Gain >0.7, which means this simulation activity has high effectiveness in improving caregiver skills. To support E-RM documentation, the service team designed a website-based elderly development record system at https://pangesti.mikspwm.com, which was tested using the Blackbox method.  Conclusion: Providing education on first aid for emergency situations in the elderly through lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and discussions can improve caregivers' knowledge. Demonstrations, including simulations and demonstrations, can improve caregiver skills.

Abstract

AbstrakPuskesmas sebagai salah satu fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan, dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan kesehatan yang bermutu secara komprehensif harus didukung oleh sumber daya manusia kesehatan yang bermutu, mencukupi kebutuhan, terdistribusi secara adil dan merata serta termanfaatkan secara berhasil guna dan berdaya guna mutlak diperlukan secara berkesinambungan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat di Puskesmas Jabung bertujuan untuk memperluas wawasan dan meningkatkan pemahaman petugas rekam medis di puskesmas Jabung Kecamatan Tumpang Kabupaten Malang tentang Perencanaan Kebutuhan Tenaga Perekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan (PMIK) dengan menggunakan metode Analisis Beban Kerja (ABK Kes) sekaligus menyediakan data perencanaan kebutuhan sumber daya manusia perekam medis dan informasi kesehatan di Puskesmas Jabung. Kegiatan ini memberikan implikasi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petugas rekam medis dalam penyediaan data kebutuhan sumber daya manusia perekam medis dan informasi kesehatan di Puskesma Jabung. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah untuk peningkatan pengetahuan dan demonstrasi untuk peningkatan keterampilan dalam penyusunan perencanaan kebutuhan sumber daya manusia kesehatan tenaga perekam medis dan informasi kesehatan di puskesmas Jabung, yang dilaksanakan selama 3 (tiga) kali pertemuan yaitu pada tanggal 4, 11 dan 25 November 2023. Evaluasi pencapaian kegiatan dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan dilakukan kepada petugas rekam medis di puskesmas Jabung sejumlah 2 (dua) orang yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pengabdiaan masyarakat. Hasil evaluasi diperoleh peningkatan nilai pengetahuan sejumlah 50% dalam kategori baik dan peningkatan keterampilan dengan pencapaian 100% dalam kategori terampil dalam penyusunan perencanaan kebutuhan tenaga kesehatan PMIK di Puskesmas Jabung. Kata kunci: ABK kes; kebutuhan SDMK; perencanaan Abstract Primary Health as a health service facility, in providing comprehensive quality health services, must be supported by quality health human resources, sufficient for needs, distributed fairly and evenly and utilized effectively and efiiciently, which is absolutely necessary on an ongoing basis. Community service activites at the Jabung Community Health Center aim to broaden horizons and increase understanding of medical record officers at the Jabung Community Health Center, Tumpang District, malang Regency regarding planning the need for Medical Recordes and Health Information (PMIK) using the Workload Analysis (ABK Kes) method as well as providing needs planning data human resources for medical recorders and health information at The Jabung Community Health Center. This activity has implication for increasing the knowledge and skills for medical record officers in providing data on human resources needs for medical recorders and health information at The Jabung Community Health Center. The methods used were lectures to increasing knowledge and demontrations to increasing skills in preparing health human resources needs planning for medical recorders and health information at The Jabung Community Health  Center, which were held over three meetings namely on the 4th, 11th, and 25th November 2023. Evaluation of activity achievements was carried out through questionnaires given berfor and after the activities were carried out to medical records officers at The Jabung Community Health Center. A total two people involved in community services activities. The evaluation results showed an increase in knowledge scores of 50% in the good category and increase in skill with 100% achievement in the skilled category in preparing PMIK Health worker needs planning at The Jabung Community Health Center. Keywords: ABK kes; human resources need; planning

Abstract

An imbalance between workload and the number of medical record officers may reduce service quality and increase work-related fatigue, making workload-based staffing analysis essential. This study aimed to analyze the staffing needs of medical record officers based on workload using the Health Workload Analysis Method (ABK-Kes) at Ciptomulyo Public Health Center. A quantitative descriptive design with an observational analytic approach was employed, involving all medical record officers totaling two respondents through total sampling. Data were collected in May 2025 using observation, interviews, and document review, and analyzed using the ABK-Kes method, including calculations of Available Working Time, time norms, Standard Workload, Support Task Factor, and Standard Support Task. The results showed that the workload of medical record officers was relatively high, with an average of 130 patient visits per day, a Support Task Factor of 24%, and a Standard Support Task value of 1.31. The ABK-Kes analysis indicated that the ideal number of medical record officers required was three, revealing a shortage of one officer. In conclusion, additional medical record staff are necessary to balance workload, improve service quality, and reduce the risk of work-related fatigue, and the findings are recommended as a basis for human resource planning at public health centers.

Data hasil pemeriksaan atau observasi keperawatan yang telah dilakukan secara rutin setiap hari dicatat secara manual pada kertas masing-masing caregiver pemeriksa lansia untuk selanjutnya dipindahkan secara manual ke dalam formulir status kesehatan masing-masing lansia. Tujuan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan caregiver formal tentang analisis kebutuhan sistem informasi catatan keperawatan. Peningkatan pengetahuan dilakukan dengan memberikan penyuluhan serta melakukan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) untuk merumuskan data kebutuhan sistem informasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 (tiga) kali pertemuan pada tanggal 3, 9 dan 11 Juli 2025 dengan peserta yang terlibat caregiver formal di LKS-LU Pangesti Lawang sejumlah 14 (empat belas) orang. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui kegiatan pre-test dan post-test dengan instrumen kuesioner yang terdiri atas sejumlah 15 pertanyaan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan rata-rata skor pemahaman pre-test 57,64 dan rata-rata skor post-test 88,14 dengan capaian peningkatan pengetahuan caregiver formal tinggi yang ditunjukkan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,72, dengan capaian efektivitas kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tergolong cukup efektif yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai persentase N-Gain sebesar 72,46%. Peningkatan pengetahuan caregiver formal tentang analisis kebutuhan sistem informasi meningkatkan kapasitas caregiver formal dalam pengelolaan rencana pengembangan sistem informasi catatan keperawatan berikut tersedianya data tentang analisis kebutuhan sistem dan pengguna yang dihasilkan dari Focus Group Discussion yang telah dilaksanakan. Disarankan bagi LKS-LU Pangesti Lawang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan caregiver formal melalui metode lain seperti penyuluhan tidak langsung menggunakan poster atau leaflet serta mempertimbangan pengembangan sistem informasi bagi catatan keperawatan lansia di LKS-LU Pangesti Lawang. Kata kunci: analisis kebutuhan; catatan keperawatan; lansia; sistem informasi. Abstract Community service activities at the social welfare institution for the elderly (LKS-LU) Pangesti Ketindan Village, Lawang District, Malang Regency East Java Province were carried out by taking into account the need to increase formal caregivers' knowledge regarding needs analysis for the development of an information system that can support nursing recording activities that have been carried out manually so far. Data from nursing examinations or observations that have been carried out routinely every day are recorded manually on each caregiver's paper for examining the elderly and then transferred manually into each elderly person's health status form. The purpose of this activity is to increase formal caregivers' knowledge about needs analysis for nursing record information systems. Knowledge improvement was carried out by providing counseling and conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to formulate information system needs data. This activity was carried out in 3 (three) meetings on July 3, 9 and 11, 2025 with 14 (fourteen) participants involved as formal caregivers at LKS-LU Pangesti Lawang. Evaluation of the activity was carried out through pre-test and post-test activities with a questionnaire instrument consisting of 15 questions. The results of the activity showed an average pre-test understanding score of 57.64 and an average post-test score of 88.14 with a high achievement of increasing formal caregiver knowledge as indicated by an average N-Gain value of 0.72, with the achievement of the effectiveness of community service activities being classified as quite effective as indicated by the N-Gain percentage value of 72.46%. Increasing formal caregivers' knowledge about information system needs analysis increases the capacity of formal caregivers in managing the nursing records information system development plan, along with the availability of data on system needs analysis and users resulting from the Focus Group Discussion that has been conducted. It is recommended for LKS-LU Pangesti Lawang to increase the knowledge of caregivers through other methods such as indirect counseling using posters or leaflets and considering the development of an information system for elderly nursing records at LKS-LU Pangetsi Lawang. Keywords: needs analysis; nursing records; elderly; information systems.

Abstract

At the Jasa Kusuma Husada Clinic, patient registration management still uses a manual, paper-based system. The use of this system has the potential to cause inefficiencies in service time, patient identification errors, and data duplication. Based on these problems, the researcher designed the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) on the registration section of the clinic management information system (SIMKLINIK) at the Jaya Kusuma Husada Clinic. The method used in this study was Research and Development (R&D). The results of this study, the design aspects of the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) in the registration section of the clinic management information system (SIMKLINIK), were observed on 22 assessment indicators covering aspects of navigation, icon clarity, design consistency, and flexibility of use, showing that they meet the expected standards. In conclusion, the UI / UX design for the registration section of SIMKLINIK has been prepared based on the results of the user needs analysis
