Abstract

Backgraund: The elderly must be able to adapt to all the changes that occur in their lives. The ability of the elderly to adapt to life changes can help reduce the Dependency Ratio. Dependency Ratio can be minimized through achieving the independence of life of the elderly. Health condition is one of the factors that is closely related to the ability of the elderly to live independently in their old age. Aim : This study aims to identify the elderly in the independence of their lives in Kelurahan Kasin Peripheral Hospital of Bareng Malang, through the health condition approach Method: Based on the time of this study, it is classified as cross-sectional with elderly respondents aged 60 years and over in Kasin Kelurahan, a total of 142 obtained through the multistage random sampling. The instruments used were IADL, sphygmomanometer, Snellen test, Abbreviated Mentaltest (AMT), Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS), along with questionnaires to identify conditions and the perception of the elderly towards their health conditions. CART is used for the classification of independence of the elderly with the Salfold Predictive Modeller software Results: The classification results showed that 78.2% of the elderly were independent, characterized by having a certain daily diet, having normal hearing function or having an impairment, having better health perception, having musculoskeletal disorders, and not taking drugs. The best sorting based on the value of goodness of split is the daily menu consumed by the elderly 0.1125041, current health perception 0.0813413, hearing function 0.0652887, musculoskeletal disorders 0.0204411, drug consumption 0.0002492. The accuracy value obtained is 69.72%, sensitivity value is 71.17% and specificity value is 64.52% Conclusion :Daily menu consumed by the elderly and current perception of health are variables that contribute to the independence of the elderly based on health conditions, while the use of stairs, daily physical activity, home improvement is a functional capacity that contributes to the independence of the elderly.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Anak adalah tunas, potensi, dan generasi muda penerus cita-cita perjuangan bangsa, memiliki peran strategis dan mempunyai ciri dan sifat khusus yang menjamin kelangsungan eksistensi bangsa dan negara pada masa depan. Di Era 4.0 yang terjadi sekarang di dunia, banyak masyarakat yang beralih menuju dunia teknologi digital. Salah satu teknologi digital yang banyak dimanfaatkan oleh semua kalangan adalah gadget. Tidak terkecuali pemanfaatan gadget ini oleh anak-anak. Gadget akan mempengaruhi kondisi psiko-sosial pada anak, terlebih gadget juga akan berdampak buruk pada kesehatan anak. Dan tanpa disadari juga, karena terlalu seringnya mereka bermain dengan teknologi, mata sebagai indera penglihat manusia akan terpengaruh oleh radiasi yang ditimbulkan. Oleh karena itu, dengan dilakukannya pemberdayaan kader terkait kesehatan mata diharapkan peran kader dalam upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian kesehatan mata pada anak dapat berjalan optimal. Program kemitraan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman kader terhadap upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian kesehatan mata pada anak. Target utama program ini adalah kader kesehatan di Dusun Sukosari, Desa Pandansari, Kecamatan Poncokusumo, Kabupaten Malang. Kegiatan ini meliputi survei awal terkait kesehatan mata pada anak, dan melaksanakan penyuluhan tentang upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian kesehatan mata pada anak dengan menggunakan metode penyuluhan dan diskusi interaktif. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah adanya peningkatan pemahaman kader kesehatan terkait Penyakit Mata khususnya upaya dalam pencegahan dan pengendalian penyakit mata pada lansia di Dusun Sukosari, Desa Pandansari, Kecamatan Poncokusumo, Kabupaten Malang.Kata Kunci : Anak, Indera Penglihatan,  Kesehatan Mata  ABSTRACT Children are the shoots, potentials, and the next generation of the ideals of the nation's struggle, have a strategic role, and have special characteristics and traits that ensure the continuity of the existence of the nation and the country in the future. In era 4.0 that is happening now in the world, many people are turning towards the world of digital technology. One of the digital technology that is widely utilized by all circles is gadgets. There is no exception to the use of this gadget by children. Gadgets will affect psycho-social conditions in children, especially gadgets will also adversely affect the health of the child. And unwittingly, too, because too often they play with technology, the eye as the human sense of vision will be affected by the radiation caused. Therefore, with the empowerment of cadres related to eye health, it is expected that the role of cadres in efforts to prevent and control eye health in children can run optimally. This partnership program aims to improve cadres' understanding of efforts to prevent and control eye health in children. The main target of this program is health cadres in Sukosari Village, Pandansari Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency. This activity includes initial surveys related to eye health in children and conducting counseling on efforts to prevent and control eye health in children using counseling methods and interactive discussions. The result of this community service activity is an increase in the understanding of health cadres related to Eye Diseases, especially efforts in the prevention and control of eye diseases in the elderly in Sukosari Hamlet, Pandansari Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency. Keywords: Children, Sense of Vision, Eye Health

Abstract

ABSTRAKAdanya kegiatan pemberdayaan kader kesehatan dalam pengelolaan data skrining gizi lansia mengacu pada permasalahan yang ditemukan di Dusun Sukosari diantaranya: belum berkembangnya keterampilan kader kesehatan dalam melakukan pengelolaan data dari hasil skrining gizi pada lansia menggunakan instrument MNA. Adapun tujuan dari dilakukannya pengelolaan data kesehatan terutama dalam skrining gizi lansia yaitu untuk menghasilkan informasi yg berguna dalam pengambilan keputusan terkait status gizi lansia. Pengelolaan data skrining gizi lansia dihasilkan dari instrument MNA (Mini Nutritional Asesment) yang di desain untuk tujuan mengidentifikasi risiko malnutrisi pada usia lanjut sedini mungkin. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama 3 hari dengan melakukan penyuluhan kepada peserta yang terlibat yaitu seluruh kader kesehatan di Dusun Sukosari, Desa Pandansari, Poncokusumo yang berjumlah 25 orang. Sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan, peserta akan diberikan tes dengan menjawab pertanyaan terkait materi yang akan diberikan sebagai salah satu alat untuk evaluasi dalam kegiatan ini. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader yang menunjukkan peningkatan nilai antara sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu sebesar 23%. Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader kesehatan dalam mengelola data hasil skrining gizi pada lansia memberikan manfaat bagi Dusun Sukosari dalam mengidentifikasi status gizi lansia sebagai upaya preventif dalam mencegah terjadinya permasalahan kesehatan dan untuk mewujudkan desa siaga kesehatan.   Kata kunci: kader kesehatan; pengelolaan data; skrining; gizi; lansia ABSTRACTThe existence of health cadre empowerment activities in the management of elderly nutrition screening data refers to the problems found in Sukosari Hamlet including: health vulnerabilities that are underdeveloped in the management of nutrition screening results data on the elderly using the MNA instrument. The purpose of managing health data, especially in the nutritional screening of the elderly, is to produce nutritional information that is useful in making decisions regarding the status of the elderly. The management of elderly nutrition screening data was generated from the MNA (Mini Nutritional Assessment) instrument which was designed with the aim of identifying possible risks of malnutrition in the elderly. This activity was carried out for 3 days by conducting counseling to the participants involved, namely all health cadres in Sukosari Hamlet, Pandansari Village, Poncokusumo, totaling 25 people. Before and after the activity, participants will be given a test by answering questions related to the material that will be provided as an evaluation tool in this activity. The results of the activity show an increase in the knowledge and skills of cadres which shows an increase in value between before and after the implementation of the activity, namely by 23%. Increasing the knowledge and skills of health cadres in managing data on the results of elderly nutrition screening provides benefits for Dusun Sukosari in identifying the nutritional status of the elderly as a preventive effort to prevent health problems and create a health alert village. Keywords: health cadres; data management; screening; nutrition; elderly

Abstract

Clinics are one of the health service facilities that are much sought after and needed to support health improvement both individually and in society. Clinics must improve the quality of their services, one of which is the patient registration system which is the leading service unit for every health service facility. Patient registration services must be able to include important information about patient social data as the basis for creating a health information system. The aim of this research is to evaluate the implementation of medical records in the registration section at the Modern Poncokusumo Clinic, Malang Regency. This research method uses qualitative descriptive research with a total of 4 respondents. Data collection was carried out by interviews and observations and presented in narrative form. The research results explain that there are several things in the implementation of patient registration that are not appropriate, namely human resources, infrastructure and procedures, causing the medical record registration activity (process) to be not optimal. The results (output) of the activity include efforts to improve the patient registration system so that it can run quickly, completely, effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperluas wawasan dan meningkatkan pemahaman petugas rekam medis Klinik M mengenai prosedur peminjaman dan pengembalian berkas rekam medis serta melengkapi dokumen standar operasional prosedur (SOP) terkait. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah tanya jawab, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung dalam penyusunan SOP. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam tiga pertemuan pada 21, 28 Mei 2024, dan 12 Juni 2024, dengan melibatkan tiga petugas rekam medis Klinik M. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petugas sebesar 47,28% serta tersedianya SOP untuk peminjaman dan pengembalian berkas rekam medis. Kendala yang dihadapi termasuk penjadwalan yang memadai untuk semua petugas dan proses legalisasi SOP yang sedang berlangsung. Komunikasi, koordinasi, dan dukungan fasilitas dari pimpinan klinik dan petugas rekam medis sangat mendukung kelancaran kegiatan ini. Simpulan, kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan mutu layanan kesehatan Klinik M. Kata Kunci: Berkas Rekam Medis, Peminjaman, Pengembalian

Abstract

The Jaya Kusuma Husada Clinic in Kepanjen, Malang Regency, currently operates its medical records system manually, including the processes for retrieving and returning medical records. A Clinical Management Information System (SIM-Clinic) is necessary to support a more organized medical record management system, in accordance with the implementation of Minister of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022. This study aims to design a SIM-Clinic for the medical record retrieval and return system. The research combines Research and Development (R&D) with descriptive analysis. Data collection was conducted through observation and interviews with 15 respondents, consisting of doctors, nurses, midwives, and medical record staff, selected through total sampling. The system design employed the waterfall methodology. The study results identified three categories of SIM-Clinic user needs: healthcare workers, medical record staff, and the head of the medical records department. The agreed system requirements have resulted in the development of a system flowchart, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). It is recommended that the clinic prepare the necessary facilities, infrastructure, and healthcare human resources involved in the planned implementation of the medical record retrieval and return system through the SIM-Clinic.

Abstract

AbstrakKlinik Jaya Kusuma Husada yang berlokasi di Kepanjen Kabupaten Malang sebagai salah satu fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan yang sedang melaksanakan pengembangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) Klinik telah berproses dalam perancangan bagan alur bagi aktifitas peminjaman dan pengembalian rekam medis. Bagan alur yang telah tersusun tersebut selanjutnya akan diterapkan dalam sebuah prosedur baku standar operasional prosedur pada penerapan SIM klinik elektronik. Diperlukan pemahaman petugas rekam medis terkait bagan alur yang telah dirancang sekaligus umpan balik bagi efektifitas bagan alur yang telah tersusun tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman petugas rekam medis tentang bagan alur sekaligus peningkatan keterampilan petugas rekam medis dalam melakukan identifikasi efektifitas bagan alur yang telah tersusun. Metode yang digunakan ceramah tentang konsep bagan alur peminjaman dan pengembalian rekam medis sekaligus demonstrasi dan praktik secara langsung dalam penyusunan instrumen evaluasi efektifitas bagan alur. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 (tiga) kali pertemuan pada tanggal 10 dan 18 Desember 2024 dan 8 Januari 2025 dengan peserta yang terlibat adalah petugas rekam medis di klinik sejumlah 3 (tiga) orang. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui kegiatan pre-test dan post-test dengan instrumen kuesioner untuk pemahaman dan checklist untuk keterampilan yang diperoleh. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan rata-rata skor pemahaman pre-test 22,22 dan rata-rata skor post-test 86,67 dengan capaian peningkatan pemahaman petugas rekam medis tinggi sebesar 82,83%. Rata-rata skor keterampilan pre-test 45,83 dan rata-rata post-test 95,83 dengan capaian peningkatan keterampilan penyusunan instrumen evaluasi tinggi sebesar 91,67%. Peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan petugas rekam medis memberikan daya ungkit kedepannya bagi efektifitas bagan alur yang terimplementasi dalam dokumen SOP peminjaman dan pengembalian rekam medis. Disarankan bagi klinik untuk menindaklanjuti hasil evaluasi efektifitas bagan alur dalam sebuah prosedur baku peminjaman dan pengembalian rekam medis. Kata kunci: bagan alur; evaluasi; peminjaman; pengembalian; rekam medis. Abstract Jaya Kusuma Husada Clinic located in Kepanjen, Malnag Regency as one ogf the health service facilities that is currently implementing the development of the clinical management information System has been in the process of designing a flowchart for the activity of borrowing and returning medical records. The flowchart that has been prepared will then be applied in a standard operating procedure for the implementation of electronic clinical. An understanding of the medical records officers regarding the flowchart that has been designed as well as feedback on the effectiveness of the flowchart that has been prepared is required. The purpose of the activity to improve the understanding od medical record officers about flowchart as well as improve the skills of medical record officers in identifying the effectiveness of the flowcharts that have been prepared. The method used is a lecture on the concept od a flowchart for borrowing and returning medical records as weel as a demonstration and direct practice in preparing an evaluation instrument for the effectiveness of the flowchart. This activity was carried out in 3 (three) meetings on December 10 and 18, 2024 and January 8,2025 with the participants involved being 3 (three) medical record officers at the clinic.The evaluation of the activity was carried out through pre-test and post-test activities with a questionnaire instrument for understanding and a checklist for the skills acquired. This result of the activity showed an average pre-test understandaing score of 22,22 and average post-test score of 86,67 with a high increase in the understanding of medical record officers of 82,83%. The average pre-test skill score was 45,83 and an average post-test score of 95,83 with a high increase in the skills of compling evaluation instruments of 91,67%. The increase in the understanding and skills of medical record officers provides leverage in the future for the effectiveness of the flowchart implemented in the SOP document for borrowing and returning medical records. It is recommended for clinics to follow up on the results of the evaluation of the effectiveness of the flowchart in a standard procedure for borrowing and returning medical records. Keywords: flowchart; evaluation; borrowing; returning; medical record.

Abstract

In the effort to see and examine the situation and conditions that occur in the future should be done forecasting. Hypertension occupies the order of the top ten diseases in the Puskesmas together and almost every month occurs a new case of hypertension, so that the incidence of hypertension become a trend and should be done forecasting. The purpose of this research is to practice the data on the number of hypertensive events in Puskesmas with the city of Malang using Holth Winters Exponential Smoothing method. The type of research used is non reactive research which is a type of research for secondary data. The sample Unit in this study is a patient who comes to medicine and is recorded as a hypertensive patient in the Puskesmas with the city of Malang. From 2013 to 2016. Research Data is processed using Minitab software. The results of this study showed the incidence of hypertension for the year 2018 decreased, with the lowest occurrence rate occurring in December of as many as 58 occurrences. The presence of a trend in the incidence of hypertension can be supported by internal factors, namely gender; and external factors, namely the environment. Outside in this study is research article, Trend morbidity graph figures incidence of hypertension disease in Puskesmas and study as teaching materials. Through the results of this research, the Puskesmas advised the party to develop planning and control of work for eradication and transmission of hypertensive disease (P2P).

Abstract

Abstrak Adanya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berbentuk edukasi terkait penyusunan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) sistem pendaftaran di Klinik X mengacu pada permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu belum ada SOP pendaftaran di Klinik X yang meliputi SOP penamaan dan penomoran rekam medis. Adapun tujuan dari dilakukannya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu dapat mengoptimalkan pelayanan yang ada terutama di bagian sistem pendaftaran pasien karena merupakan pintu pelayanan pertama sebelum dilakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertempat di salah satu klinik yang berada di Kabupaten Malang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Kegiatan ini diawali dengan sosialisasi terkait pentingnya SOP dalam melakukan pekerjaan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan FGD terkait identifikasi kebutuhan SOP pendaftaran dan praktik penyusunan SOP pendaftaran yang mancakup sistem penamaan dan penomoran rekam medis. Sebelum dan setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan, peserta akan diberikan tes sebagai salah satu alat untuk evaluasi dalam kegiatan ini. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta yang menunjukkan peningkatan dari nilai pretest yaitu 65.00 dan nilai postest yaitu 95.00. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini yaitu dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra melalui pencapaian hasil kegiatan dan output yang diperoleh yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan peserta sehingga dapat membantu petugas pendaftaran dalam melakukan proses pendaftaran pasien sesuai dengan prosedur yang sudah dibuat agar pelayanan kepada pasien berjalan baik dan lancar. Kata kunci: sistem pendaftaran; penyusunan sop; pengetahuan Abstract The existence of community service activities in the form of education related to the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the registration system at Clinic The aim of carrying out community service activities is to optimize existing services, especially in the patient registration system because it is the first service door before a health examination is carried out. This community service activity took place at one of the clinics in Malang Regency. This activity was carried out using the socialization method and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). This activity began with socialization regarding the importance of SOPs in carrying out work, then continued with FGD related to identifying the need for registration SOPs and the practice of preparing registration SOPs which include the naming and numbering system for medical records. Before and after carrying out the activity, participants will be given a test as a tool for evaluation in this activity. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge which showed an increase in the pretest score, namely 65.00, and the posttest score, namely 95.00. The conclusion of this activity is that it can contribute to the problems faced by partners through achieving the results of activities and outputs obtained, namely there is an increase in participants' knowledge and skills so that they can assist registration officers in carrying out the patient registration process in accordance with the procedures that have been created so that service to patients runs well and smoothly. Keywords: registration system; preparation sop; knowledge

Abstract

AbstrakPelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial-Lanjut Usia (LKS-LU) Pangesti Desa Ketindan Kecamatan Lawang Kabupaten Malang Provinsi Jawa Timur merupakan upaya untuk membuat sebuah sistem informasi catatan keperawatan berbasis website (pangesti.mikspwm.com) sebagai solusi pencatatan keperawatan lansia yang selama ini masih terlaksana secara manual menggunakan kertas (paperbased). Pengabdian masyarakat ini selain menyediakan sistem informasi juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan caregiver formal dalam mengoperasikan sistem informasi sebagai tindaklanjut adanya penerapan sistem informasi yang baru dibuat dan diimplementasikan. Peningkatan keterampilan caregiver formal dalam mengoperasikan sistem informasi memberikan implikasi penguatan kapasitas LKS-LU sebagai sebuah organisasi dalam mengelola dan menyediakan data kesehatan lansia. Hal ini mendukung pengambilan keputusan, pemantauan, dan pelaporan yang lebih baik di dalam institusi. Peningkatan keterampilan dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan bagi caregiver formal dengan metode ceramah tanya jawab beserta praktik secara langsung menggunakan perangkat laptop dan telepon seluler. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam 8 (delapan) kali pertemuan tanggal 2 sampai dengan 18 September 2025 melibatkan caregiver formal sejumlah 15 (lima belas) orang. Evaluasi pencapaian keterampilan dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test dengan instrumen checklist sejumlah 15 pertanyaan. Evaluasi keberfungsian sistem informasi menggunakan metode Blackbox. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan rata-rata skor keterampilan pre-test dan post-test adalah 54,20 dan 91,13 dengan capaian peningkatan keterampilan caregiver formal tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,81, dengan capaian efektivitas kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tergolong efektif ditunjukkan nilai persentase N-Gain sebesar 81,21%. Diperolehnya keterampilan caregiver formal dalam mengoperasikan sistem informasi meningkatkan kapasitas manajemen dalam pengelolaan dan penyediaan data kesehatan lansia. Disarankan pihak manajemen lebih meningkatkan keterampilan caregiver formal dalam mengoperasikan sistem informasi dengan rutin menggunakan sistem informasi tersebut setiap hari serta mengembangkan keberlanjutan sistem informasi tersebut. Kata kunci: caregiver formal; catatan keperawatan; lansia; sistem informasi. Abstract The implementation of community service activities at the Pangesti Social Welfare Institution for the Elderly (LKS-LU), located in Ketindan Village, Lawang District, Malang Regency, East Java Province, constitutes an initiative to develop a web-based nursing record information system (pangesti.mikspwm.com) as a solution to elderly nursing documentation, which has previously been conducted manually using paper-based methods. In addition to providing the information system, this program aims to enhance the competencies of formal caregivers in operating the newly developed platform, thereby ensuring its effective adoption and utilization. Strengthening caregiver skills in system operation carries significant implications for reinforcing the organizational capacity of LKS-LU in managing and providing elderly health data, ultimately supporting improved decision-making, monitoring, and reporting within the institution. Capacity building was undertaken through structured training sessions employing lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice using laptops and mobile devices. The training was conducted in eight sessions between September 2 and 18, 2025, involving 15 formal caregivers. Skill achievement was evaluated through pre-test and post-test assessments using a 15-item checklist, while system functionality was assessed using the Blackbox method. The results demonstrated average pre-test and post-test scores of 54.20 and 91.13, respectively, with a high level of skill improvement reflected in an average N-Gain score of 0.81. The effectiveness of the community service program was further confirmed by an N-Gain percentage of 81.21%, categorized as effective. The acquisition of caregiver competencies in operating the information system has strengthened management capacity in organizing and providing elderly health data. It is recommended that institutional management continue to enhance caregiver skills by encouraging routine daily use of the system and ensuring the sustainability of the information system through ongoing development. Keywords: elderly; formal caregiver; information system; nursing documentation.
