Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu MIS Muhammadiyah Manado dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran Make a Match (MAM) khusunya mata pelajaran matematika. Dengan adanya penerapan Make a match diharap di saat pembelajaran dapat membangun suasana belajar yang dinamis penuh semangat dan antusias yang menyenangkan, serius tapi santai dan tidak monoton dalam pembelajaran. MAM adalah salah satu solusi agar hasil belajar siswa meningkat Pelatihan ini diberikan kepada guru-guru sebagai peserta dengan metode ceramah dan dengan menggunakan simulasi. Dari pelaksanaan pelatihan ini guru-guru bisa mengikuti kegiatan dan mengetahui bentuk-bentuk dari model pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama dua minggu dari tanggal 18 sd 30 Januari 2022. Kegiatan berjalan lancar berkat kerjasama antar sekolah yang memberikan dukungan penuh dalam berbagai bentuk kepada pihak pelaksana. Keberhasilan kegiatan pendampingan ini juga dapat dilihat dari tercapainya indikator yang ditetapkan untuk tujuan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahasa tentang peran teknologi informasi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan perempuan : Studi kasus mahasiswa IAIN Manado. Fokus artikel ini membahas bagaimana peran dari teknologi informasi yang sangat berkembang pesat pada zaman sekarang ini terhadap dunia pendidikan para perempuan terlebih khusus dilingkungan Institut Agama Islam Negeri Manado, apakah sudah memberikan kontribusi yang baik atau malah memberikan dampak buruk bagi perempuan. Dengan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif artikel ini menjelaskan serta menggambarkan fakta dan data dilapangan secara utuh dan apa adanya. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan bahwa teknologi informasi yang sangat berkembang pesat pada zaman ini mempermudah bagi perempuan dilingkungan Institut Agama Islam Negeri Manado untuk mendapat pendidikan dan Ilmu pengetahuan sebagai bekal mereka untuk kedepannya. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari responden yang memberikan jawaban Sangat Setuju (SS) dan Setuju (S) yang memiliki presentase yang besar pada hasil kuisioner.

Abstract

This research aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes on statistics and data in class V at Inpres Durian Elementary School by implementing the Teams Games Tournament learning model assisted by the number monopoly game. This research uses the classroom action research method, with four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research consists of two cycles, each consisting of 8 meetings for teaching and learning activities and one meeting for learning outcomes tests. The subjects of this research were 18 class V students at Inpres Durian Elementary School. The data collection techniques used are tests of student learning outcomes, observation of student and teacher activities and documentation. The results of this research show that the application of the Teams Games Tournament learning model assisted by the number monopoly game on the subject of statistics and data can improve the learning outcomes of class V students at SD Inpres Durian from a pre-cycle average score of 48.33 to 72.22 in cycle I and 85.55 in cycle II. In addition, classical learning completeness in the pre-cycle was 15.78%, increasing to 66.67% in cycle I and 88.88% in cycle II. The results of observing teacher activities in cycle I were very good and continued to persist in cycle II. Meanwhile, the results of observations of student activities increased from the adequate category in cycle I to very good in cycle II. Referring to the research success indicators, which set a KKM of 70 and a classical completion score of 85% in the good category, it can be concluded that implementing the Teams Games Tournament learning model assisted by the number monopoly game in class V at Inpres Durian Elementary School can improve learning outcomes in the mathematics subject.

Abstract

This study aims to synthesize a hydrogel zeolite composite of arrowroot starch graft copolymerized with acrylic acid through a radical polymerization reaction in a water. Various scenarios were tested using different natural zeolite concentration to determine the impact on swelling/water absorption of the composite. The resulting product was a solid gel-the test results showed that the swelling increased as the ratio of starch to acrylic acid decreased. Increased starch concentrations generally lead to decreased water absorption (swelling capacity). Adding a zeolite improved swelling to some extent and the optimum zeolite concentration was 60%. The increased concentration of zeolite also hardened the hydrogel composite. The highest swelling in the hydrogel composite of starch-g-poly(acrylic acid)/zeolite 60% is 1056.25 g.g-1. FTIR analysis of functional groups was conducted to determine differences in the IR spectra of arrowroot starch, acrylic acid, hydrogels, zeolites, and composite hydrogel. Si-O signal appearing on the IR spectra of hydrogel composite with wave number 1030 cm-1 indicates that composite hydrogel with zeolite was synthesized

Abstract

Shrimp waste containing chitin 15-20%. Chitin can be isolated enzymatically by using proteaseenzymes derived from the waste itself. Waste of shrimp marinated in 1M H2SO4 for 10 days at pH1-2 and do control the pH and concentration of N-total every 24 hours. So that, this process canreduce the use of chemicals and environmental pollution. Enzymatic chitin obtained ash content1.789% and 5.322% of N-total. Results of IR showed characteristic functional groups of chitin areOH 3390.5 cm-1, NH (secondary amide) 3348.71 cm-1, C = O 1648.20 cm-1, C-N at 1313.96 cm-1,C-O 1115, 28 cm-1. Chitin is dissolved in 8% NaOH / Urea 4% for 36 hours (-20oC). Hydrogelsmade with a ratio (1: 6); (1: 8); (1:16); (1:24) w / w. The results showed the increasing amount ofacrylamide monomer, the greater the value% graft and absorption of water. Enzymatic chitinhydrogel showed the maximum value % graft is 2492.073%; and water absorption 1.794 g / g. IRhydrogel results indicate primary amide N-H stretching of acrylamide at 3349.77 and 3202.88 cm-1, C = O 1662.03 cm-1Keywords: hydrogel, chitin, acrylamide, graft copolymerization

Abstract

Ampas singkong merupakan limbah hasil pembuatan tepung tapioka. Hemiselulosa merupakan komponen kimia pada ampas singkong, komponen utama hemiselulosa adalah xilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan xilan dari ampas singkong serta pemanfaatan xilan sebagai substrat endo-B-1,4-D-xilanase. Ampas singkong yang akan diekstraksi diukur terlebih dahulu kadar HCN, lignin, dan air. Ekstraksi xilan dari ampas singketode DNS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ampas singkong yang digunakan pada penelitian ini memiliki kandungan HCN sebesar 16,10 ppm, kadar lignin sebesar 4,34% dan kadar air sebesar 7,45%. Ekstraksi xilan dengan NaOH 12% menghasilkan rendemen tertinggi yaitu 32,14% (delignifikasi) dan 52,36% (tanpa delignifikasi).Kata Kunci: Ampas singkong, xilan, delignifikasi.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: Clustering methods are crucial for geodemographic analysis (GDA) as they enable a more accurate and distinct characterization of a region. This process facilitates the creation of socio-economic policies and contributes to the overall advancement of the region. Background Problems: The fuzzy geographically weighted clustering (FGWC) method, which is a GDA technique, primarily handles numerical data and is prone to being stuck in local optima. Novelty: This study proposed two novel clustering methodologies: fuzzy geographically weighted k-prototypes (FKP-GW) and its hybrid clustering model, which combines genetic algorithm-based optimization (GA-FKP-GW). Research Methods: This research conduct simulation study comparing two of the proposed clustering method. For the empirical application, this study applied clustering technique using the official Village Potential Survey of Temanggung, Indonesia. Finding/Results: The evaluation results of experiments conducted on simulated data and study cases indicate that the proposed method yields distinct clustering results compared to the previous method while being comparably efficient. The empirical application identifies four distinct groups from the clustered villages, each displaying unique characteristics. The results of our research have the potential to benefit the development of the GDA method and assist the local government in formulating more effective development policies.

Abstract

This research is intended to create and develop interactive multimedia-based desktop application products that are effective and have advantages for use in learning to introduce computer hardware in PGMI study programs, and evaluate the benefits of these products in improving PGMI student learning outcomes. The development process of this research adopted the Alessi & Trollip development model with the following procedures, namely stage planning, stage design, and stage development. Product trials include an alpha test carried out by media experts and material experts, as well as a beta test involving 21 PGMI study program students. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations and questionnaires which were given to media experts, material experts and students as users. The results of the research show that interactive multimedia learning has been packaged in Disc format, and this multimedia product is considered very feasible by material experts, media experts, and trial participants.

Abstract

Pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam bidang statistik perbankan syariah di IAIN Manado tergolong rendah, khususnya dalam pemahaman konsep dasar statistik dan kemampuan dalam menganalisis data. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dilakukan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa dalam menerapkan statistik perbankan syariah melalui workshop berbasis teknologi AI. Metode yang digunakan adalah pemberian materi pelatihan serta pendampingan mengenai konsep dasar statistik dan analisis data dengan menggunakan ChatGPT, yang diikuti oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Perbankan Syariah. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah 10 mahasiswa dari kelas Statistik Perbankan Syariah. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah pelatihan, peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dalam konsep dasar statistik dan analisis data. Mereka juga merasa lebih terbantu dalam mengerjakan tugas statistik dan merasa percaya diri menggunakan teknologi untuk menganalisis data. Manfaat yang diperoleh peserta antara lain pemahaman yang lebih baik dalam pengaplikasian statistik di dunia perbankan syariah, peningkatan keterampilan dalam menggunakan teknologi untuk analisis data, serta peningkatan efisiensi dalam pengerjaan tugas statistik. Kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan statistik di Program Studi Perbankan Syariah di IAIN Manado.

Abstract

Shallots are one of the horticultural commodities that have fluctuating prices. Market integration occurs horizontally but not vertically due to poor information systems at the producer and consumer levels. This study aimed to estimate the area of shallot land quickly using the rapid classification of croplands method. The research was conducted in Merek District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra. Primary data obtained from survey activities were processed using the Google Earth Engine platform. Classification and regression trees (CART) and random forest (RF) algorithms were used to classify land cover as onion and non-onion classes. The shallot land area based on this method was 74.4 hectares, with an area accuracy of 95% (RF) and 24% (CART) and a location accuracy of 92% (CART and RF). The rapid classification of croplands method can estimate land area quickly. It helps stakeholders who need information on shallot production projections and can be developed to improve the vertical market integration information system (market integration between producers and consumers). Some areas for improvement of this method are limited access and resolution, inability to describe up to the level of garden bunds, and the condition of the area covered by clouds, which will affect the accuracy of the results.
