Abstract

The Bali bombing tragedy of 12 October 2002 has killed hundreds of souls. The event brought about the impact of major changes for Balinese people. Uncontrolled migrants are regarded as one of the causes of the Bali bomb tragedy. The event then took the policy to control the attendance of migrants (TAMIU) through the decree of the mayor of Denpasar No. 610, the year 2002 that is a concern that migrants living in Denpasar must have a resident identity card Entrants (KIPP). The purpose of this research is to understand and analyze the Praaktik of KIPP's publishing services as a control device of expat resident in Denpasar City based on the spirit of prod Dharma. Data collection methods are performed with observations, interviews, and documentation. Technical data is done qualitatively. The research finds that KIPP's publishing has not been successful as a control device for the number of migrants. KIPP's service practices are inefficient, not transparent and unaccountable. The reason is that the existence of dualism of customary village and the village of Dinas, human resources are still weak, facilities and infrastructure that is not refresentative that implicates to the open opportunities of corruption, collusion and nepotism, public service costs High, the number of unsynced population at the village level, sub-districts, or even provincial-level patents and increasing social pathology. This paper suggests the need for the assertiveness of the rules between the authority of indigenous villages and Dinas, need to increase the quality of human resources, especially the lower level, and the strict action to actors who are not disciplined in carrying out their duties. Abstract

Not yet vanished in shared memory that the Bali Bombing of October 12, 2002 killed hundreds of lives. The event had a big impact for the people of Bali. Uncontrolled migrant population is considered as one of the causes of the Bali bombing tragedy. The incident then made local governments more aware to exercise control over the presence of migrants (tamiu). The government is strict in controlling the immigrant population living in Denpasar by issuing a KIPP policy. KIPP as one of the public service practices required by the government of Denpasar City. What are the implications of public services in controlling immigrants? The purpose of this study is to understand the implications of public services in controlling the population of migrants. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research by involving government, media crew, migrant community leaders and academics as respondents. The findings of this study indicate that in practice KIPP services open opportunities for corruption, collusion, and nepotism. high cost public services. population data from the village, sub-district, district and city levels even to the provincial level are out of sync, social pathology is increasing. This paper will be very useful for structuring public service bureaucracy

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how social security program for workers (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) is conducted by The Kayon Resort, which is located in Tegalalang, Gianyar Regency. This research used qualitative descriptive method whose variables were the four programs of BPJS ketenagakerjaan – Work Accident Security, Old Day Security, Life Insurance, and Pension. The Data were collected through interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has not been implemented properly particularly the work accident security. This program has not been served to all workers. The old day security, life insurance and pension programs have not been realized yet because there have not been any workers who meet the criteria to receive the compensation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kualitas produk dan pelayanan Bali Juice Park and Grill bepengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hal tersebut adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Informan penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah pelanggan Bali Juice Park Bar and Grill yang terletak di Seminyak Badung, Bali. Wawancara dilakukan terhadap lima responden yang berprofesi sebagai pelajar, mahasiswa, dan pegawai swasta. Setelah analisis dilakukan, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan Bali Juice Park Bar and Grill Seminyak Badung Bali disukai oleh para pelanggan. Menu fresh juice, non fresh juice dan juga kudapan disukai oleh para pelanggan. Pelayanan yang diberikan oleh bartender juga disukai oleh para pelanggan sehingga komunikasi antar bartender dan pelanggan berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

Choosing a quality university presents a significant challenge for prospective students in the modern era. With the increasing number of universities, facilities such as classrooms, laboratories, and libraries become major considerations in enrollment decisions. This research examines the role of brand image and brand trust in influencing study decisions at STISPOL Wira Bhakti. Utilizing a quantitative approach and path analysis, this study involves 54 students as respondents. The results indicate that brand image and brand trust have a significant impact on study decisions at STISPOL Wira Bhakti. Additionally, brand trust acts as a strong mediator in this relationship, indicating that a positive university image can enhance prospective student trust. This study offers strategic insights for private higher education institutions, emphasizing the importance of building brand image and brand trust to strengthen attractiveness and credibility in the eyes of prospective students.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the potential, constraints and expectations of farmers in Anggabaya Subak as a sustainable subak to become agro-tourism. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. A qualitative approach was used to analyze the data from a survey of the community in Anggabaya Village. From the interview, it can be seen that Anggabaya subak has the potential to be developed into an agro-tourism. The obstacles faced are infrastructure problems such as roads, parking, toilets, and other supporting facilities that are not sufficient. The hope is to be able to open new job opportunities for local communities and be able to increase added value for farmers in Anggabaya subak. All efforts to make Subak Anggabaya an agro-tourism must be carried out by preserving nature and culture. Water sources, rice fields, farmers, subak temples, and autonomous properties both inside and outside must remain but must also be present.
