Abstract

BC working for an insurance company, namely AIA Financial, must be able to locate and present themselves at the partner bank where the BC is placed. With all this work, BC often experiences a decline in performance and motivation. So, the task of an Area Business Manager is to monitor and motivate the BCs. The research method used in this research is qualitative research, which was carried out in one of the AIA areas in 5 CIMB Niaga bank branches in Jakarta. The efforts made by ABM to BC so far have been quite successful in motivating BC, as can be seen from BC's active communication and good relations with bank staff so that the referrals provided are active every day. In the first week, BC received data on customers who will be offered AIA products; apart from that, BC is also active in following up on data on customers who have joined AIA to resell. The training carried out by AIA management also had a positive impact on BC's motivation, increasing their ability to know products, sell well, and understand the sales process without incorrect data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi Public Relations (PR) ritel MR D.I.Y. dalam membangun hubungan interaktif dan personal dengan pelanggan. Sebagai salah satu pemimpin pasar dalam sektor ritel DIY (Do It Yourself), MR D.I.Y. mengintegrasikan elemen strategi komunikasi berbasis komunitas, personalisasi pesan, dan teknologi digital untuk menciptakan pengalaman pelanggan yang relevan dan bermakna. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, analisis konten kampanye PR yang dilakukan melalui media sosial, situs web resmi, ulasan pelanggan serta aktivitas berbasis komunitas serta wawancara menjadi desain utama penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi PR MR D.I.Y. menonjolkan beberapa pendekatan. Pertama, MR D.I.Y. membangun komunitas pelanggan melalui kampanye interaktif di media sosial, seperti "DIY Challenge,". Kedua, strategi komunikasi berbasis narasi (storytelling) untuk menonjolkan nilai-nilai utama merek, seperti kreativitas, keberlanjutan dan keterjangkauan. Ketiga, komunikasi dua arah melalui dialog aktif dengan pelanggan melalui media sosial dan aplikasi mobile, memungkinkan merek untuk merespon umpan balik secara real-time. Keempat, pendekatan personalisasi diterapkan melalui konten yang relevan dengan preferensi audiens, menciptakan hubungan emosional yang lebih kuat dan mendorong perilaku impulse buying.

Abstract

Understanding and using English in communicating has become a necessity for everyone who wants to win the increasingly fierce competition in work and business in the era of globalization. However, there are still many people who have not realized and prepared themselves to learn English. The ease of accessing English learning materials in the current digital era is not used to improve communication skills. English For Teens, a training to communicate in English, was held with the aim of building and raising awareness of the younger generation so that they are motivated to learn and practice English. This qualitative research focuses on the problems faced by the managers of Karang Taruna RW.02 Bambu Apus, East Jakarta, and provides the best solution in building and increasing the awareness of its members to learn and practice English. Low understanding of English causes difficulties in communicating and accessing various information that is important for personal and organizational progress. English For Teens also tries to provide learning materials that are simple, varied, but easy to understand so as to eliminate the impression that learning English is very difficult and boring. The results of the training showed that the participants easily understood the learning material provided and could do the exercises. However, the main problem is when doing speaking, especially in how to pronounce words (pronunciation), so the tutor has to give examples of correct pronunciation over and over again.

Abstract

Penyampaian isi pesan dari pengurus organisasi kepada publiknya terkadang tidak menghasilkansebagaimana yang diharapkan. Tampilan yang tidak menarik dan tidak sesuai dengankarakteristik publik yang dituju merupakan penyebab utama kurangnya respon positif publikterhadap pesan yang disampaikan. Padahal, respon publik sangat penting karena dapat dijadikantolok ukur keberhasilan dan keefektifan kegiatan penyampaian isi pesan. Penelitian kualitatif inibertujuan mengetahui penggunaan dan penerapan aplikasi Canva untuk meningkatkan daya tarikisi pesan organisasi. Terungkap, bahwa Canva yang berbasis online sangat bermanfaat dalammerubah tampilan isi pesan dari yang terkesan “biasa-biasa saja” menjadi lebih menarik, bahkanluar biasa. Kelebihan canva terletak pada kemudahan dan kelengkapan template siap pakainya.Canva menyediakan puluhan ribu template cantik yang sudah jadi dan siap pakai yang bisa diedit oleh penggunanya kapan saja dan dari mana saja. Kemudahan dalam mengaplikasikan Canvaserta banyaknya manfaat yang diperoleh memicu semakin tingginya semangat dan minat parapengurus dan anggota karang taruna untuk memciptakan konten-konten menarik yang tidakhanya berkaitan dengan kepentingan organisasi, namun juga pendidikan, pemasaran, kesenian,dan kebudayaan. Memiliki kemampuan menggunakan aplikasi Canva dalam meningkatkan dayatarik isi pesan tidak hanya berimbas pada pencapaian tujuan yang diharapkan, namun juga dapatmeningkatkan rasa percaya diri para pengurus organisasi.

Abstract

Public speaking is a skill that absolutely must be mastered by everyone from various professions, including leaders. A public speaker must learn, understand, and apply the methods and techniques of pushing the right material according to the characteristics of the audience invited and the material to be delivered. The biggest obstacle faced actually comes from the public speaker himself, such as fear, fear, feelings of shame, lack of confidence, and lack of discipline. This qualitative research aims to overcome the public speaking obstacles faced by RT administrators in RW.02 Bambu Apus and to help provide solutions to overcome these obstacles. The results of the research revealed that anxiety is an obstacle that always arises when appearing to speak in public, especially if the event is attended by important people or government officials at a higher level. This anxiety eventually creates other obstacles, such as being assertive, hands feeling cold, shaking, not focusing on the material, and being at a loss for words. Practices that are carried out continuously and consistently, as well as creativity in conveying material are the keys to success in public speaking.

Abstract

Bullying in elementary school environments is a serious challenge in education that negatively impacts students' character development and psychological well-being. Civic Education (PKn) holds strategic potential in preventing bullying by instilling values of democracy, tolerance, empathy, and social responsibility. This study aims to examine the role of PKn in fostering an anti-bullying culture in elementary schools through a library research method. Data were collected from various academic literature and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The findings indicate that value-based PKn learning can raise students' moral awareness about the importance of living peacefully and respecting differences. Civic Education teachers play a significant role as role models in internalizing anti-bullying values through contextual learning strategies. Furthermore, the “Roots” program by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) and UNICEF, which involves students as agents of change, strengthens the synergy between character education and civic learning. Thus, PKn contributes greatly to creating a safe, inclusive, and bullying-free school environment.

Abstract

Community service represents a tangible contribution of higher education institutions in improving the quality of learning at the elementary level. This service activity was carried out collaboratively by lecturers and students at MI Miftahul Huda 2 Palangka Raya with the aim of enhancing the quality of IPAS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial) learning through the development of interactive teaching materials based on Canva. The program applied the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which emphasizes the empowerment of existing assets within the school community. The implementation involved mentoring sessions, technical guidance, and direct classroom application of the developed materials. Effectiveness was evaluated through pretests and posttests, showing an increase in students' understanding from an average pretest score of 55.19 to a posttest score of 77.04, with an average N-Gain of 0.47 (moderate category). Validation results from subject matter experts (96%), design experts (97%), and classroom teachers (89%) confirmed that the developed media were appropriate in terms of content, visual quality, and language use. In addition to improving learning outcomes, the use of technology-based teaching media also increased student motivation and teacher engagement during the learning process. The outcomes of this program not only provided direct benefits to the partner school but also demonstrated the potential for broader application as a participatory and sustainable model for digital innovation in basic education.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 yang semakin meluas menuntut semua orang untuk secara disiplin menerapkan protokol kesehatan 3M, yaitu memakai masker, menjaga jarak fisik, dan mencuci tangan dengan sabun serta menjauhi kerumunan. Namun, tidak semua orang mematuhi aturan tersebut. Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan mengetahui penyebab ketidakpatuhan warga terhadap penerapan protokol kesehatan 3M dengan mengacu kepada Health Belief Model (HBM). Hasilnya terungkap, bahwa pelanggaran yang dilakukan warga tidak sepenuhnya merupakan bentuk ketidakpatuhan. Banyak pelanggar yang kurang memahami bahaya penularan COVID-19 dan manfaat penerapan protokol kesehatan 3M. Sedangkan ketidakpatuhan warga disebabkan oleh motif ekonomi, sikap tidak peduli, merasa berpotensi rendah terhadap penularan virus, serta ketidakpercayaan kepada pemerintah yang mengeluarkan kebijakan dan pernyataan yang tidak konsisten. Istilah new normal dimaknai sebagian warga sebagai kesempatan dan peluang untuk beraktivitas kembali seperti saat sebelum pandemi merebak. Tidak adanya tokoh atau public figure yang dapat menjadi panutan juga menjadi kendala bagi penerintah untuk membangkitkan kesadaran warga dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan 3M.

Abstract

The training activity of making key chains from feather wire was carried out at MIS Hidayatul Muhajirin as a form of contribution in improving fine motor skills and creativity of fourth grade students. Based on the initial observation, it is known that students have not been much involved in creative activities based on hand skills, so efforts are needed to provide appropriate stimulation. The main problem identified was the limited opportunities for students to develop creativity and skills through fun hands-on activities. This training was carried out through several stages, namely identification of needs, activity planning, counseling on tools and materials, exposure to keychain making, and practical sessions accompanied by facilitators. The results of the activity showed that the students participated in the training with enthusiasm and were able to produce diverse and creative works. Analysis of the results showed an increase in students' skills in technical and attitudinal aspects, such as independence, accuracy, cooperation, and self-confidence. The implementation of this activity also provides space for students to express ideas freely and fun. With documentation of the work as a form of evaluation, this training is expected to be a model of educational activities that are applicable and able to enrich the learning process at the SD / MI level. In addition, this activity encourages students' active involvement in the learning process that not only focuses on cognitive aspects, but also affective and psychomotor aspects. Thus, this training makes a significant contribution to students' character building and creates an inclusive, creative and fun learning environment for all learners.

Abstract

This study examines the relationships between firm size, asset intensity, leverage, and tax management in Indonesian manufacturing companies. Utilizing a panel data approach from 2020 to 2022, the research finds that firm size and asset intensity significantly influence tax management practices, highlighting larger firms' advantages in implementing effective tax strategies. Conversely, leverage does not significantly mediate the relationship between firm size or asset intensity and tax management. These findings suggest that while asset intensity provides firms with opportunities to optimize tax deductions, the impact of leverage on tax management strategies is limited. The research underscores the importance of understanding these dynamics for business leaders aiming to enhance tax efficiency and compliance. Additionally, the study provides practical recommendations for firms and policymakers to improve tax management practices in the manufacturing sector. Overall, the research contributes valuable insights into the factors affecting corporate tax strategies in Indonesia.
