Abstract

Predicting student graduation is a crucial aspect to assess the quality and credibility of higher education institutions. Naive Bayes and K-NN algorithms have been recognised for their effectiveness in predicting graduation. However, most of these studies are limited to academic data. Meanwhile, the variables of thesis completion duration and thesis start time are rarely studied. This study aims to compare the performance of Naive Bayes Gaussian and K-NN algorithms in predicting student graduation using the CRISP-DM method. The data used in this research is the data of students of informatics study programme of Magelang muhammadiyah university. Unlike previous studies that only rely on academic data such as ipk, gender, age, marital status, employment status, and stress level. This research includes the duration of thesis completion and thesis start time as key variables. To compare the performance of Naive Bayes Gaussian and K-NN algorithms, this study adopted three data sharing scenarios: scenario 1 60% training data 40% testing data, scenario 2 70% training data 30% testing data, and scenario 3 80% training data 20% testing data. The results showed that the K-NN algorithm in scenario 2 showed the highest accuracy reaching 91% with precision, recall, and f1-score values of 83.5%, 87.5%, and 85.5%, respectively. On the other hand, Naive Bayes Gaussian reached a maximum accuracy of 88% in Scenario 1 with precision, recall, and f1-score reaching 93%, 77.5%, and 82%, respectively. The research findings show that the K-NN algorithm is superior in predicting student graduation compared to Naive Bayes Gaussian.

Abstract

The durian plant (Durio zibethinus Murr.) is one of the leading tropical fruit agricultural products in Indonesia with high economic value. However, durian productivity is often disrupted by leaf disease attacks such as Algal Leaf Spot, Leaf Blight, and Leaf Spot, which results in a decrease in the quality of the crop and its quantity. As a step to address this problem, the goal of this study is to automatically detect durian leaf disease using the YOLOv8 algorithm, a new deep learning model developed to detect objects directly in real time. This study used a data set that included 420 images of durian leaf disease in four categories, Algal Leaf Spot, Leaf Blight, Leaf Spot, and No Disease. This study uses three dataset distribution scenarios (70:20:10, 75:15:10, and 80:10:10), with various epoch and batch size configurations. The results show that the 70:20:10 scenario with 100 epochs and batch size 16 produces the best performance, with a precision value of 0.994, recall of 0.989, mAP50 of 0.990, and mAP50-95 of 0.927. The model developed is able to detect durian leaf disease with high accuracy and fast inference time. The implementation of this model through the Roboflow platform allows efficient use and is ready to be implemented to support the sustainable increase in durian productivity. This research also makes a significant contribution to the development of deep learning-based agricultural technology in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the loading speed of the website, identify the factors that affect the test results, and suggest improvements that can be made to improve the loading speed performance of the IAIN Salatiga website. The research was conducted in four main stages, namely: website traffic observation, designing website performance testing scenarios, website performance testing, and website testing data analysis. Based on the test results, one of the causes of the poor performance assessment is because most of the load time is used to display the largest content on the website. Implementing images with the right size and format can improve website performance. The limitation of this study is that the test uses a free version of the application which has limitations in displaying test results. The results of this study can be used by academics and practitioners in the field of website evaluation studies and the findings of this study can be a concern for website developers in building a website.

Abstract

Website sekolah berisi tentang fitur pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan layanan tentang sebuah sekolah kepada pengguna. Oleh karena itu untuk mencapai tujuan dari website sekolah maka perlu dilakukan evaluasi usability untuk mengetahui tingkat kemudahan, kenyamanan, dan kepuasan ketika menggunakan website sekolah. Website SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sragen memungkinkan untuk dikunjungi oleh beragam orang dengan latar belakang yang berbeda-beda, sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui tingkat kemudahan, kenyamanan, dan kepuasan pengguna ketika menggunakan website. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kinerja tampilan antarmuka dan masalah usability website. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kinerja website dengan metode usability testing yang kemudian nantinya akan memberikan masukan dalam proses pengembangan website. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode usability testing. Pengujian dilakukan dengan memberikan penugasan kepada responden untuk berinteraksi dengan website dan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah implementasi menu/navigasi website tidak efektif pada pengguna perangkat mobile, hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya perbedaan waktu rata-rata yang lebih lama antara pengguna perangkat mobile dengan pengguna perangkat desktop.

Abstract

Di Desa Japan, Kecamatan Tegalrejo, Kabupaten Magelang, ada inisiatif pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat melalui pelatihan psikoedukasi anti-bullying, pembuatan batik ecoprint, dan pembuatan sabun cuci piring.  Program ini mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) di bidang pendidikan, sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan.  Proses pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahap: persiapan (proposal dibuat, izin diberikan, pembekalan tim, dan FGD), pelaksanaan (pelatihan dan penyuluhan kepada siswa sekolah dasar dan anggota PKK), dan evaluasi (laporan, publikasi, dan dokumentasi).  Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa SD N 1 Japan lebih memahami definisi, efek, dan pencegahan bullying. Ini membantu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan inklusif (SDG 3, 4, dan 16).  Selain itu, anggota PKK belajar membuat sabun cuci piring ramah lingkungan dan batik ecoprint yang terbuat dari bahan alami. Kedua teknik ini dapat diubah menjadi usaha produktif berbasis potensi lokal (SDG 8, 12, 14, dan 15).  Secara keseluruhan, program ini berhasil menggabungkan pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan pelestarian lingkungan dan membantu desa mencapai sejumlah target SDG.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra pengabdian masyarakat adalah guru dan karyawan kesulitan untuk melakukan update konten/informasi pada website yang dimiliki oleh SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Mertoyudan karena tidak memiliki kompetensi manajemen website. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan adalah meningkatkan kompetensi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi guru dan karyawan SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Mertoyudan khususnya manajemen website. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan guru dan karyawan akan memiliki keterampilan untuk menyampaikan informasi seperti pengumuman, publikasi kegiatan, dan promosi tentang sekolah melalui website sekolah. Permasalahan yang terjadi diselesaikan dalam lima tahap kegiatan yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, monitoring evaluasi, dan pelaporan. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat menggunakan metode transfer ilmu pengetahuan kepada mitra melalui pelatihan, pendampingan, dan penugasan. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan keberhasilan, ditunjukkan dengan hasil kuesioner pelatihan yang menunjukkan nilai sangat baik dan adanya respon positif dari peserta dalam tingkat keberhasilan menyelesaikan penugasan.

Abstract

The modern stage of development of science and technology is characterized by a rapid increase in the complexity of the created technical systems. The management of such systems requires the development of new management methods, since the modification and improvement of traditional management techniques does not always ensure the fulfillment of stringent requirements for management quality indicators. Classical control methods are mainly based on the theory of linear systems, while most real objects are non-linear. The problem of the synthesis of control systems under conditions of uncertainty is currently one of the central problems in the modern theory of automatic control. The complexity of the control object itself, structural, parametric and information uncertainties in the description of the control object, and the complexity of control problems, the multi criteria of optimization problems, the lack of possible analytical solutions, the need to take into account all the properties of disturbances, etc. The solution to this problem requires a search for alternative approaches to the design of control systems, one of which involves the introduction of neural network systems. Neural network control systems are a high-tech direction of control theory and belong to the class of nonlinear dynamic systems. High performance due to parallelization of input information in combination with the ability to train neural networks makes this technology very attractive for creating control devices in automatic systems. Neural networks can be used to build regulating and switching devices, reference, adaptive, nominal and inverse-dynamic models of objects, on the basis of which objects are studied, analysis of the influence of disturbances acting on an object, determination of the optimal control law, search or calculating the optimal program for changing the impact when changing the values of the parameters of the object and the characteristics of the input data. In addition, neural networks can be used to identify objects, predict the state of objects, recognize, cluster, classify, analyze a large amount of data arriving at high speed from a large number of devices and sensors, and the like. The ability to learn according to a given principle of functioning allows creating automated control systems that are optimal in terms of speed, energy consumption, etc. Naturally, in this case, it is possible to implement several principles of functioning and the transition from one to another. They are a universal tool for modeling multidimensional nonlinear objects and finding solutions to ill-posed problems.

Abstract

Pandemi mengakibatkan dampak yang luar biasa terhadap berbagai sektor kehidupan, sektor ekonomi pariwisata, perdagangan dan investasi, bahkan sektor keagamaan juga terdampak. Selama pandemi, kegiatan ibadah menjadi sangat terbatas seperti halnya kegiatan masyarakat yang lain. Hal ini menjadi kondisi yang dilematis, disatu sisi masyarakat ingin kegiatan ibadah kembali semarak, tapi disisi lain juga harus taat terhadap protokol kesehatan. Dalam rangka mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, pengabdi berinisiatif melakukan kegiatan pengabdian yang berfokus pada pembuatan alat pengukur suhu tubuh tanpa sentuh untuk jamaah masjid ini. Pendekatan yang dilakukan pada kegiatan ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan objek utama adalah jamaah Masjid At Thoharoh Desa Tumpang Kabupaten Malang. Diharapkan hal tersebut dapat menjadi solusi agar aktivitas ibadah tetap dijalankan serta mematuhi protokol kesehatan untuk mencegah penyebaran COVID-19. Adapun fungsional alat telah diuji dan dapat bekerja 100%, sedangkan hasil pengukuran suhu pada alat hanya selisih 0.32% dengan pengukuran suhu menggunakan thermogun. Artinya alat yang dibuat telah dapat bekerja sebagaimana mestinya dengan tingkat akurasi yang baik.

Abstract

Mental health is a person's soul condition to budaptasi in its environment to feel happy or get the comfort of life, so as not to experience mental disorders. Often mental health is ignored by most people because it is different from physical health that can be seen directly with the eyes and can be identified easily. Lack of awareness of mental health in the life of the people of Indonesia and the assumption that a person who goes to psychologists is a person inseasonable, often the individual who actually undergoes mental health problems reluctant to get help from experts or deny that he does not have mental health problems. Limitations of time and costs are also one of the constraints of a student reluctant to get help from experts like psychologists. Therefore, a web-based expert system is built with a dempster-shafer method to use as detection on the student and allows the user to know whether the user has a tendency of the problem on its mental health or not before the official consultation is required from the expert. Testing Accuracy Comparison System between the results of the system and experts by using 100 correspondents from students at Muhammadiyah Magelang University (UNIMMA) 89% know mental health and 65% have experienced mental disorders. The results of the SRQ29 data used and were spread among campus students, this study has used 20 sample data and produces 70% expert suit compliance. From the results of expert suitability obtained from the calculation of the system by selecting symptoms and automatically the system will calculate the accuracy of the existing Belief Valident in every symptom. Then the system will take decisions based on the results of the largest calculation value.
