In this tool utilizing the Raspberry Pi and Arduino Uno Microcontrollers as equipment that can provide a good level of security for home security with visual sensor based. This tool uses an electronic key where you can electronically open and lock the door based on the password inputted using the keypad. The whole system on the electronic key is fully controlled by the Arduino Uno Microcontroller and if the password inputted on the keypad is more than three times wrong, an buzzer will ring, the camera will take a picture and the Raspberry Pi Microcontroller will immediately send a notification to the homeowner via the Telegram application. . When someone wants to try to get into the house by using the correct or wrong password the camera will still automatically take pictures and will immediately send notifications in the form of text and images to the homeowner through the Telegram application. In conditions far from home the homeowner can also find out the current state of the house through the Telegram application. In the system this tool uses a password where passwords can be stored in the form of "hard code", the average delay in each experiment of this tool is around three minutes.

Internet Protocol Televisi (IPTV) adalah sistem layanan televisi yang dikirim menggunakan metode Internet Protocol (IP) melalui infrastruktur jaringan. Dengan berbasis IP address, memiliki keuntungan membuat tampilan TV menjadi lebih interaktif. Secara umum implementasi yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah membangun sistem jaringan IPTV sederhana dengan menggunakan layanan dari Emby Media Server sebagai server dari IPTV. Konten layanan IPTV menggunakan layanan Video on Demand (VoD) dan layanan Live Tv. Pengukuran parameter QoS pada jaringan infrastruktur teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) yang ada di Universitas Udayana menggunakan software wireshark. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai Packet Loss, Throughput, Delay dan Jitter yang di dapat telah memenuhi standarisasi QoS dari TIPHON.

The optical modulator is a component used to convert information signals into a carrier signal in theform of a light beam. 3 optical modulators are widely used, namely the internal modulator, the machzehndermodulator (MZM), and the electro-absorption modulator (EAM). Each optical modulator hasadvantages and disadvantages, but in general, the purpose of an optical modulator is to modulatelight beams. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance comparison of the internaland external optical modulator and the feasibility of the practicum module. The method used is tosimulate an optical modulator on a fiber-optic network using Optisystem software. The networkfeasibility parameters analyzed were Q-factor, BER, and eye diagram until performance reached theITU-T G.984.2 standard with a minimum limit of Q-factor = 6 and BER 10-9. The optical modulatorchanges internal and external variables. The feasibility test of the practicum module uses the methodof filling out a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1–5 and giving pre-test and post-test to thepractitioner. The comparison of optical modulator performance shows that MZM performance is betterthan EAM and internal modulator. In the bit rate test, the transmission distance used is 65 km, andsignal power of +7 dBm MZM is capable of sending bit rates of up to 27 Gbps. In testing thetransmission distance, the bit rate used is 10 Gbps, and signal power of +7 dBm MZM can cover adistance of up to 70 km. In the signal power test, the bit rate used is 10 Gbps and the transmissiondistance is 65 km MZM capable of working at +5 dBm signal power. This practicum module is veryfeasible as teaching material according to the percentage of the practitioner's assessment of 88.2%.

The giving of intravenous fluids to patients is dispense fluids into the veins using aninfusion set with a certain amount and period. Patients who are given intravenous fluids willconstantly be monitored by a nurse manually and regularly. In this study, a monitoring systemand automatic replacement of intravenous fluids drops were designed to make it easier fornurses to monitor and change infusions automatically. The monitoring system is designed totake advantage of the Telegram communication application integrated with the NodeMCUESP8266. In contrast, the automatic replacement system utilizes an infrared sensor to detectfluid availability. Based on the research results, the infrared sensor will have a logic '1' if infusionfluid is more than 50ml, and the sensor will have a logic '0' if infusion fluid is less than 50ml. Thefastest system response to send sensor data to Telegram Bot reached 01.10 seconds, while thefastest system response to receive orders from Telegram Bot reached 05.70 seconds.

Dalam membangun jaringan pada suatu perusahaan atau universitas yang besar diperlukan sebuah manajemen jaringan untuk memudahkan dalam pengaturan dan pengawasan jaringan tersebut. Semakin kompleks jaringan multimedia yang dibangun, maka semakin sulit bagi administrator untuk melakukan pemantauan terhadap jaringan tersebut. Untuk itu, perlu dibangun sebuah sistem monitoring yang bertujuan mempermudah dalam hal melakukan pemantauan dan juga pemeliharaan dan peningkatan kualitas jaringan. Dalam penelitian ini, dibangun sebuah sistem monitoring OpenNMS (Open Network Monitoring System) dengan tujuan untuk bisa memberi gambaran bagaimana OpenNMS bekerja memonitor jaringan yang ada. Pada penelitian ini, dianalisa kinerja dari perangkat-perangkat yang ada, berupa response time pada setiap service yang berjalan serta service SNMP untuk memonitor kualitas dari perangkat yang ada. Dibangun pula Bot yang berfungsi memberikan informasi yang dibutuhkan melalui aplikasi Telegram. Bot tersebut terintegrasi dengan OpenNMS dan dapat otomatis mengirim informasi alarm yang terpantau dari OpenNMS jika perangkat ataupun jaringan sedang terjadi masalah. Sehingga dari hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan memberikan kemudahan bagi administrator untuk memantau kinerja pada jaringan dan penggunaan alarm Bot Telegram untuk selalu memberikan informasi terbaru jika perangkat atau jaringan sedang mengalami down.

LED optical light source and laser diode function as an information carriers in the opticalcommunication systems. Each optical light source in the form of LED, CW Laser, and VCSEL Laserhas advantages and disadvantages. Based on these advantages and disadvantages, a study wascarried out on the internal and external characteristics of optical light sources to determine the optimaloptical light source to use as needed. Simulations are carried out in optical system software. Theperformance analyzed is Q-Factor, BER, and Eye Diagram until it reaches the ITU-T G.984.2standard with a minimum limit of Q-Factor = 6 and BER = 10-9. The feasibility test of the practicummodule uses the method of filling out a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1–5 and giving pre andpost-test to the practitioner. The results of this study were an increase in the internal characteristics ofthe LED, a decrease in the signal power of the CW Laser, and an increase in the bias current of theVCSEL Laser resulting in a decrease in Q-Factor, and an increase in the BER value. The comparisonof the increase in bit rate and transmission distance showed that CW Laser can transmit a higher bitrate and a longer transmission distance. The comparison of the transmission distance that can becovered by each optical light source shows that the CW Laser travels the farthest transmissiondistance . Increased understanding of the practitioner based on the post-test score which is higherthan the pre-test score can be used as the basis that this practicum module as a whole is verysuitable for use as teaching material. This is also supported by the feasibility test of the questionnairefilling method with a Likert scale of 1-5 with a percentage of the practitioner's assessment of 88.6%.

Hotspots are signaled areas that refer to certain places (usually public places) and have internet services using wireless local area network (WLAN) technology. Because the installation of the device and the user who is accessing it is indoors, of course it will be faced with a barrier / barrier in the form of a wall that prevents the entry of the radio signal so that the hotspot signal coverage is unable to cover optimally. This condition occurs in the WLAN network of Agrokomplek Building, Udayana University. So it is necessary to measure the coverage area of the hotspot signal so that no blank spots occur. The results of the measurement of the 4th floor coverage of the Udayana University Agrokomplek Building showed that the signal coverage experienced a lot of attenuation caused by distance and barriers in the form of walls. To increase the signal level value, an access point is added in an area that does not get signal coverage.

This research aims to design and build an early warning system device of volcanoactivity hazards based on Arduino microcontroller that can monitor changes in temperature, soilmoisture and tremor through sensors placed in the environment around the crater. This earlywarning system of volcano activity hazards is relatively simple but can be very useful to helpgovernment institutions and also the public which will reduce the risk of data collection directlyand also speed up the public to get information so that they can avoid the radius of danger. Theearly warning system of volcano activity hazards is also flexible with wifi coverage areas thatrange more than 100 meters. Based on research and test that has been done shows that thesystem created has a good effectiveness and flexibility which is able to send monitoring resultsto the ThingSpeak and then display it on a smartphone application in realtime.

The backbone network infrastructure plan is one part of the development of information technology in the area of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. Protocol Routing can be used to support data transmission, information, communication, etc. in the teaching and learning process. In practice, this region still uses the static routing method. But the increasing use of networks is designed by the New Network. The results of this design will be simulated with Cisco Packet Tracer 7.1.1. This new network uses the EIGRP routing protocol and will display some data, namely Packet loss, Throughput, Delay, and Fault Tolerant. Based on the results of testing and analysis of packet loss, in the 21 scenarios tested the same value is 0%. From this experiment the average throughput value was obtained 28.460 bps. This experiment the average value of Delay obtained is 10,95ms. Of the three trials, the data obtained included a very good category and entered at index 4 in the TIPHON qualification. In the Fault Tolerant test it is known that EIGRP has the ability to anticipate failures that occur on the network by finding alternative routes when the shortest path is not possible to pass.

The main changes in the telecommunication during these present days come mainly from wired technology to wireless technology. The Wireless LAN (WLAN) configuration consists of an access point, connected to users using air medium. The postgraduate building of Universitas Udayana has been equipped with a wireless network, supporting the study activities within the building. This research explains regarding the signal level quality and the Quality of Service (QoS) by analyzing the Wi-Fi coverage. The measurements were divided into two models, with and without barriers. The highest result comes to -42 dBm, conversely, the lowest is -82 dBm. Thus, the results show that the throughput value is 3.97 Mbps. Within the maximum bandwidth of 10 Mbps, the average packet-loss is not more than 3%. The delay measurement provides a result of not more than 100 ms, and the jitter obtained is 0.04. According to the digital floor plan, the calculation results of the coverage area match the signal level measurement.
