Abstract

The existence of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) has a strategic role to support local economic growth and create employment. This study aims to analyze the influence of company resources, business capabilities, and business strategy on the performance of SMEs in Manokwari Regency. This research is a descriptive study applying survey approach. Data were obtained from interviews and questionnaires distribution. Using accidental and proportional sampling, the collected sample was consisted of 100 SMEs in Manokwari Regency. The results showed that company resources and business capability had a significant influence on the performance, while business strategy did not affect the performance of SMEs in Manokwari Regency. Abstract

The Community Partnership Program aims to build partnerships with sago farmers in zero waste-based sago processing. The program implementation of the activity showed that the application implementation of zero waste technology in sago processing in Koyani village, Manokwari Regency, immensely helped partners improve their knowledge, skills, and environmental sanitation. Partners Mitra have been skillful in applying semi-mechanical sago starch processing technology using shredded sago rasping machines to increase the sago starch production in both quantity and quality. Of sago starch. Mitra Partners has also made some variations in processed cakes products made of sago starch (sago starch-based cakes). This is one of the efforts to increase the utilization use of sago both as a source of local food for Papua and to support national food security programs based on local potential. Sago waste produced can be used to create made into sago waste briquettes. There is a need for venture capital support assistance and ongoing approaches continuously assistance from local government relevant agencies to develop small-scale creative industries based on local natural resources. --- Program Kemitraan Masyaakat ini bertujuan untuk membangun kemitraan dengan petani sagu dalam pengolahan sagu berbasis zero waste. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program penerapan teknologi zero waste pada pengolahan sagu di Kampung Koyani Manokwari sangat membantu Mitra dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sanitasi lingkungan. Mitra telah terampil dalam menerapkan teknologi pengolahan pati sagu secara semi mekanis menggunakan mesin parut sagu sehingga meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas pati sagu. Mitra juga telah mampu membuat variasi olahan kue berbasis tepung sagu. Hal ini merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan sagu sebagai sumber pangan local Papua dan mendukung program ketahanan pangan nasional berbasis potensi lokal. Limbah ampas sagu yang dihasilkan dapat dibuat menjadi briket ampas sagu. Perlu adanya bantuan modal usaha dan pendampingan berkelanjutan dari instansi terkait agar mampu menciptakan industri kreatif skala kecil berbasis sumber daya alam local.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics and external environment variables on the success of restaurant culinary businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic in Manokwari Regency, either partially or simultaneously. This type of research used is a quantitative approach with associative problems. The sample in this study was 80 restaurant business actors in Manokwari Regency with a total of 408 restaurants. The method used in determining the sample is using the accidental sampling method. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the entrepreneurial characteristics variable partially had a significant effect on business success, and the results of the external environment variables partially had a significant effect on business success. The results of the simultaneous test of entrepreneurial characteristics variables and the external environment simultaneously affect business success. The conclusion of this research is that business actors can achieve business success if they are supported by strong entrepreneurial characteristics and overcome external environmental obstacles.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether work stress and workload partially and simultaneously influence the performance of employees of the Industry and Trade Office of Cooperatives and SMEs in Manokwari Regency. The type of research used is associative research with quantitative methods. This study uses saturated samples with a total sample of 49 employees. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression, F test and t test. The results of this study indicate partially that work stress does not affect performance. The results of the t test on the workload affect the performance. Simultaneously shows that work stress and workload simultaneously have a significant effect on performance.

Abstract

This research was aimed to analysis risk base bank rating using RGEC (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning, and Capital ) method in Bank of Public Company 2013-2017. This research was a comparative research. The analyzer was used in this research is RGEC method. Risk Profile was assessed by, credit risk, market risk, and liquidity risk. Good Corporate Governance was assessed by self assessment of bank report. Earning was assessed by, i.e ROA, ROE, NIM, and BOPO. And for capital was assessed by CAR. The results of the study that PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk obtains the highest average weighted Composite Rating, which is 94.67%., PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk came in second place at 87.11%. and PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk obtains the lowest weighted Composite Rating weight of 85.78%. However, overall the three State-Owned Banks are still rated very healthy. However, it is hoped that further researchers will be able to take on more banks to provide a broader picture.

Abstract

Purpose of this research is toidentify the influence between the variable for Marketing Mix (X1), and Service Quality (X2) affect in Purchase (Y) in Calais Artisan Bubble Tea & Coffee Manokwari. The accuration method whice use are purposive sampling method. The number of samples studied were 100 respondents who are consumers of Calais Artisan Bubble Tea & Coffee Manokwari. Based on the results of the study concluded that the multiple linear regresions equation for the effect of marketing mix and service quality on purchasing decisions Y=1,794+0,125X1+0,429X2. Marketing mix in fluence the purchasing decisions based on thitung (4,908) > ttabel (1,988). While simultaneously marketing mix and service quality significantly influence the purchasing decisions because the value of fhitung (98,154) > ftabel (3,09) and determinant coefficient (R Square) is 0,669.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know whether financial knowledge, financial capability and financial behavior in partially and simultaneously that have affect to financial saticfaction. Then, to know which is most dominant factor that effect to financial saticfaction. The type of this research is quantitative that using numerical data to analyzed. The sample in this research is using proportionate stratified random sampling. Which is technique of collecting the data that using questionare distributed to lecturer at Universitas of Papua counted 83 samples. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis (determination coefficient test, F tes and T Test) with SPSS 21 software support. The results of this study showed that the variables of financial knowledge and financial behavior influenced partially to financial saticfaction. While financial capability does not effect partially to financial saticfaction. Simultaneously, financial knowledge, financial capability and financial behavior have an effect to financial saticfaction. Then, the most dominant variable of financial behavior is affect to financial saticfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality, brand equity, and price on the purchase decision of Toyota Avanza cars. The sample in this research is who bought a Toyota Avanza in the Manokwari Regency. By using a non-probability sampling method, as many as 120 respondents were identified as research samples. Statistical tests were performed using multiple linear regression analysis. The research method used is quantitative data using primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results showed that simultaneously, product quality, brand equity, and price variables significantly influence the purchase decision of the Toyota Avanza. Partially, product quality and price variables significantly influence the purchase decision of Toyota Avanza cars, while the brand equity variable does not affect the purchase decisions of Toyota Avanza cars.

Abstract

Abstrak. Mitra Program Kosabangsa ini adalah Kelompok Petani Sagu Iwai. Permasalahan Mitra adalah: (1) masih menggunakan cara tradisional dalam pengolahan batang sagu menjadi pati sagu, (2) pengolahan empulur sagu menghasilkan limbah ampas sagu yang menimbulkan bau tidak sedapdan menutupi badan sungai atau penyempitan badan sungai, (3) kurang memiliki keterampilan dalam mengolah kue berbahan sagu dan (4) tidak memiliki keterampilan dan pengetahuan untuk memasarkan produk kue sagu. Solusi terhadap permasalan mitra diselesaikan melalui program Kosabangsa tahun 2022, yaitu melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan: (1) teknologi pengolahan empulur sagu menjadi pati sagu secara mekanis dengan menggunakan mesin parut sagu, (2) Teknologi sederhana pembuatan briket dari ampas sagu sebagai sumber energy alternative yang ramah lingkungan (pengolahan sagu berbasis zero waste), (3) pembuatan kue bagea sagu, bronis sagu, dan sagu lempeng secara higiene, (4) manajemen usaha kecil rumah tangga serta metode pemasaran online. Kata kunci: Ampas sagu, briket, kue sagu, mesin parut sagu,
