Abstract

This research aims to conduct a historical review of the Presidential Decree No. 24 of 2016 concerning the Birth of Pancasila. The method used in this research is literature or liberary research. The results of this research indicated that the determination of June 1st as the Birth of Pancasila has been championed by Megawati Soekarno Putri, PDI-P, and Taufiq Kiemas since the administration of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The commemoration of June 1st as the Birth of Pancasila was finally successfully fought for during President Jokowi's administration. Presidential Decree No. 24 of 2016 is based on the consideration that Ir. Soekarno was the first to make a speech proposing Pancasila as the basis of the state in the BPUPKI Session. Meanwhile, President Jokowi's reasons and motivation for establishing June 1st as the Birth of Pancasila are so that the public will know the origins of Pancasila, respect the struggle of the nation's founders in exploring, formulating and establishing Pancasila, stopping the polemic of who was the digger and founder of Pancasila, and preserving and preserving Pancasila through practice.

Abstract

Abstract

The past year has shaken our country with the outbreak of a disease often referred to as COVID-19. In this case, educators are expected to have the skills and abilities to think creatively and innovatively to collaborate with students during the learning process. . The research aims to analyze teacher strategies for increasing student activity in e-learning for Class XI IPS at SMA Dwijendra Denpasar for the 2020/2021 academic year. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection techniques were observation, interviews, documentation, and analysis carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. This research was carried out at Dwijendra High School, Denpasar. Which is the subject of teachers and students. Research results (1). In this case, teachers need to be creative in collaborating with students, for example, with the material delivered using online game media. The game method is used if the teacher sees students starting to get bored, restless and not focusing on paying attention to the teacher when studying online. One of the games used is the focus game. When playing the game students look very happy and enthusiastic about participating in the game with enthusiastic voices and if when playing the game the student makes a mistake then they are punished by making the student sing and so on. (2). The teacher pays attention to students through online learning; namely, at the beginning of learning the teacher always asks if they have prayed, have they had breakfast. the teacher also always gives a smiling face. When students start to get bored with learning, the teacher also does ice-breaking and games so that students are enthusiastic and interested in participating in online learning again.

Abstract

This article examines the evolution and role of Indonesia’s 1945 Constitution in shaping the country’s democratic governance from a political perspective. Following the reformation era, constitutional amendments were enacted to transform Indonesia from an authoritarian regime into a democratic state by establishing direct presidential elections, strengthening legislative authority, guaranteeing human rights, and creating independent institutions such as the Constitutional Court and the Corruption Eradication Commission. Using a qualitative normative approach and political-legal analysis, this study explores how these constitutional reforms have redefined power relations and institutional functions within Indonesia’s political system. While the amended Constitution provides a solid legal framework for democracy, challenges remain in its implementation, including political elite interests, institutional weaknesses, and ongoing attempts to manipulate constitutional norms. The findings suggest that the sustainability of Indonesian democracy depends not only on the constitutional text but also on political actors’ commitment, judicial independence, and active civil society participation. This article contributes to the understanding of constitutional democracy as a dynamic process influenced by both legal frameworks and political realities.

Abstract

This study investigates how the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana functions as an analytical framework for understanding the configuration of social relations in Balinese society. Addressing the research question—in what ways do the principles of Parhyangan, Pawongan, and Palemahan shape and regulate social structure amid contemporary sociocultural change?—the study employs a qualitative design grounded in interpretive sociology. Data were collected through purposive observations, semi-structured interviews with community leaders and cultural practitioners, and document analysis of local regulations and customary texts. Guided by the conceptual lens of relational ontology, the analysis demonstrates that Tri Hita Karana does not merely serve as a cultural value system but operates as a dynamic mechanism that structures authority, communal cooperation, and ecological stewardship. The findings reveal the adaptive capacities of these principles when faced with pressures from modernization, tourism development, and shifting land-use patterns. Rather than remaining static, the philosophy evolves through institutional innovations such as community-based agritourism, participatory land governance, and temple-centered social coordination. This study contributes theoretically by situating Tri Hita Karana within broader debates on indigenous knowledge systems and sustainable social organization. It also offers scholarly insight into how localized philosophical frameworks can generate resilient socio-ecological governance models.

Abstract

This community service program aims to introduce basic coding and simple algorithm concepts to fifth-grade students at SD Insan Prestasi through an unplugged learning approach that does not require computers. This approach was chosen to develop early computational thinking skills, particularly sequencing, pattern recognition, and logical problem-solving. The activity consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and reflection. During the preparation stage, the team provided instructional cards (move forward, backward, turn), game boards, arithmetic coding tasks, pattern-coding cards, picture coding sheets, and puzzle fragments as rewards. In the implementation stage, students completed three main games arithmetic coding, pattern coding, and picture coding combined with numbers. Each successfully completed game rewarded students with puzzle fragments, and the group that managed to assemble the complete puzzle became the winner. In the reflection stage, students discussed their strategies, identified errors, and connected their experiences to programming concepts such as sequencing, looping, and branching. The results indicate that students demonstrated improved logical reasoning, better understanding of instruction-result relationships, and increased engagement. The unplugged approach proved effective as an introductory method for aching coding and algorithmic thinking to elementary school students.
