Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Work Ethic on the Welfare of Rubber Farmers in Pulau Mungkur Village, Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This type of research is quantitative usingcorrelation Pearson product moment . Data collection techniques used were quizzes and direct observation sheets. The analysis used is quantitative analysis which is presented in the form of a table and then given an explanation. The result of this study is that there is a correlation between Work Ethics on the Welfare of Rubber Farmers in Pulau Mungkur Village, Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Based on the results of this study the work ethic influences the welfare of rubber farmers in Pulau Mungkur Village, Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency.Keywords: Work Ethics, welfare of farmers

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Correlation of Productivity of Coconut Farmers with Family Welfare in Sungai Perak Village, Tembilahan District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The sampling technique in this study was stratified random sampling. To be more representative of the researchers taking a sample of 65 respondents with a calculation of 10 percent of the total population in each number of coconut farmers based on the number of coconut trees owned. Data collection techniques used were questionnaire sheets and direct observation. This study uses quantitative methods, presented in table form and then given an explanation. The statistical test used is the Pearson product moment correlation test, and the data obtained is processed using SPSS 23.0 for Windows. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was concluded that the productivity and welfare of the families of the coconut farmers were categorized as being moderate. This is proven by calculating an interval value that is at a moderate interval (2,384-3,337). The proposed hypothesis produces a correlation of productivity of coconut farmers with family welfare in Sugai Perak Village, Tembilahan District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. Abstract

Gold Mining without Permit (PETI) is a mining business carried out by individuals, a group of people, whose operations do not have permits and government agencies in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. PETI was started by the existence of traditional miners, which later developed due to factors of poverty, limited employment opportunities and business opportunities. On the other hand, weaknesses in law enforcement and legislation regulations that eliminate mining (by) people also contribute to the peacock of PETI. This research was conducted at the Kuantan Singingi police station with a focus on research at the Satreskrim Tipiter Section Unit II. Where other subjects are sub-district officials, village officials, and communities to be used as informants. while the data collection technique is by observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed with qualitative analysis. The results of the study concluded that the institution of the Kuantan Singingi Resort Police was very instrumental. The factors that influence the role of the resort police in controlling PETI in Kuantan Singingi district are as follows: The absence of a special branch of the UPT handling the PETI problem at Kuantan Singingi Police Station, the many obstacles, challenges and disturbances faced by this Tipiter II unit. The effectiveness of the role of the Forkopimda (Regional Leadership Coordination Forum) in handling PETI, there are even indications of omission from village and sub-district officials. Keywords: Roles, Police Institutions, and PETI

Abstract

This research was conducted in Desa Salo Kecamatan Salo Kabupaten Kampar. The purpose of this study was to identify the profile attractions sungai hijau di Desa Salo Kecamatan Salo Kabupaten Kampar. The research titled “Impact of Socio economic and Cultural Community Attractions Sungai Hijau in Desa Salo Kecamatan Salo Kabupaten Kampar”. Topics focus of this research is the socio-economic impact and cultural Community attractions Sungai Hijau in Desa Salo Kecamatan Salo Kabupaten Kampar. The sample in this study amounted to 67 people. The author uses descriptive quantitative method and the data were analyzed quantitatively and using the decision-stratified sampling technique. Instruments of data are observation, questionnaires and documentation. From research conducted, the authors found that Attractions Sungai Hijau mpact either directly or indirectly on people's lives Desa Salo. The resulting impact is: the impact of economic and social impacts. With the opening Attractions Sungai Hijau and managed by the community Desa Salo jointly provide economic impact on the community one is opening up new job opportunities for people who previously did not have a job. He opened Attractions Sungai Hijau directly contributed to the increase in incomes of the population Desa Salo. The opening of new jobs since Attractions Sungai Hijau means the largest contribution to the decrease in the number of unemployment in Desa Salo. People's habits change with the rise and development of Attractions Sungai Hijau as a preferred tourist destination bustling audience. Changes in social values is felt by the public because the number of socio-cultural values brought by various visitors. The diversity of socio-cultural values that visitors a spectacle for young people who are still in the stage of developments the search for identity. Abstract

Families are two or more individuals who are joined because of blood, marriage relations or rapture and they live in a household, interact with each other in their respective roles, and create also maintain a culture.(Salvicion danan celis, 1989). This research was conducted in Umban Sari Village, Rumbai Sub District, Pekanbaru City. With the formulation of the problem (1) What forms of violence in the household? (2) how is the influence of internal household violence on the level of harmony in the family ?To know the forms of internal household violence and to know the effect of internal household violence on family harmony level, this research is descriptive research with quantitative approach, population in this study overall object studied as much as 36 people then used one of sampling technique saturated sample which represent entire population less than 100 people that is as much as 36 people from year 2016, to collect questionnaires, documentation and observation, based on the results of research can be concluded (1) physical violence against internal household violence is very strong at 82.7%. Psychological violence is strong at 78.0%. Sexual violence is strong at 72.7%. Abandonment of households is strong at 82.1%. Threats to perform acts of coercion or deprivation are very strong by 80.3% with 36 respondents. (2) 98.7%, which means very influential between internal household violence against Harmony in the family, Harmony includes: the love of fellow family members, obedience worship, communication, separation and dialogue between families, high degree of harmony with the percentage of 58.3% of 21 respondents, and answered the low level of harmony 15 respondents with a percentage of 41.6%.Keywords: Violence, Harmony, Family.

Abstract

Lubuk Mandian Gajah Village, Bunut Subdistrict, Pelalawan District is one of the rubber-producing areas in Province of Riau and most of the population are livelihoods as rubber farmers who own land and tap their own rubber. This study examines the correlation of rubber price levels to the welfare of rubberfarmer families and the purpose of this study determines the correlation of rubber price levels with the welfare of rubber farmers, the level of rubber prices and the level of welfare of rubber farmers.The process of data collection is done by sharing questionnaires with respondents in a simple / random sampling. The results of the analysis show that there is a correlation between the level of rubber prices and the welfare of rubber farmers, the level of rubber prices in the research location is relatively low with an average price of Rp.6,799 and for the welfare level of 42 respondents, 32 respondents are quite well .Keywords: Attractions , Social, economic. Keywords: Rubber Farmer, Welfare, Correlation

This study was conducted at the University of Riau precisely faculty of social science and politics and partly in existence a former activist college student that has been the graduation of his and has worked. With fact the formulation of a problem: (1) how characteristics a college student who is active in and outcast the the University of Riau organizational ? (2) factors other than a fuel whatever thing you people have become motivation of the creation was what the students are active in the structure of students in and outcast the the University of Riau ? (3) how show any correlations between of activity in become an ordinary organization a student with academic performance of a student at a and outcast the ? For the purpose of this research is to know (1) characteristic students active in organize (activist) and university in riau . (2) to capture a motivation students organizations active in university of Riau . (3) to know the correlation between activity in organize student (activist) with student academic performance. This study used the descriptive quantitative research .By using the method the sample collection by the census .Of factors affect the students active in organization consisting of internal and external factors .Relationship or a correlation between activity in (activist) in organization and UR , performing achievment was in 0.739 (73.9 %) , with a significantly by 0.000 , smaller than 0.05 significant , which means there is the relationship between activity in organize (activist) with academic performance .Keywords: organization, activist, achievement

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) To determine the social background of the Sociology student family. (2) To find out the academic achievements of Sociology students. (3) To find out the correlation between social background and academic achievement of students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Riau. This study uses quantitative descriptive. By using sampling techniques used porporion method or Provotional Random Sampling. The subjects of this study were Sociology students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Sciences of the University of Riau in 2015-2018 as many as 62 people. Data analysis using Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPM) Specifications. The results showed that the independent variables had a significant positive effect on academic achievement with a correlation coefficient of 0.527 with a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05. then it can be interpreted there is a positive and significant relationship between social background and academic achievement.  Keywords: Parents, Academic Achievement

Abstract

                        This research was carried out in the village of Deluk sub-district of Bengkalis Regency Bantan. The purpose of this research is to know the towing and factors driving factor nomads in the village of Deluk sub-district of Bengkalis Regency bantan. The topic of this research focus is characteristic of nomads in the village of Deluk sub-district of Bengkalis Regency bantan. The sample in this study amounts to 50 people. The author uses quantitative methods and use techniques of retrieval of quota Sampling. Data instruments are observation, question form and documentation. From the research that is done, the authors find that towing (pull factors) one that is a lot of job opportunities, where researchers found that 39 people (78%), or The Wanderer gained a great opportunity to get a permanent job when going about as well as can earn higher incomes where researchers found namely the 26 people or (52%) from activities abroad gives the changes in the level of earnings. As for the driving factor (push factors) of poverty to become one of the factors which the Research found that nearly all respondents approve if they wander due must meet the economic needs of the family with a high number of  respondents who replied concur that is 28 people or (56%) and who answered strongly agree totalling 22 or (44%). The impact of social economy against the nomads wander is the occurrence of a change of social status as a result of increased earned income.    Keywords: Social Mobility, Nomads

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of used clothing traders on Jalan Veteran Berastagi and to find out the strategy of trying used clothing traders on Jalan Veteran Berastagi. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method, with data collection techniques carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were used clothing traders at Jalan Veteran Berastagi, Karo Regency. Determination of informants is done by using purposive sampling technique, as many as 5 informants selected based on certain criteria. Selling used clothes has several strategies that must be carried out by traders, such as promotions, choosing a strategic location, recognizing customers, satisfying consumers, being consistent in trying. These various methods are carried out by traders to maintain their business to increase family income. The strategy in selling is very necessary so that the merchant stays in the running of the business so that it can continue the next generation.  Keywords: Used Clothing Trader, Business Strategy
