Abstract

Pelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik modul IPA berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah pada materi polusi serta dampaknya pada manusia dan lingkungan, mengetahui kelayakan modul IPA berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah pada  materi polusi serta dampaknya pada  manusia dan lingkungan, mengetahui efektivitas modul IPA berbasis  Problem Based  Learning  untuk  meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah pada materi polusi serta dampaknya pada manusia dan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan, meliputi tahapan define, design, develop, disseminate. Pengembangan modul dinilai berdasarkaan kelayakan materi, perangkat pembelajaran, media, dan bahasa oleh 3 dosen, 1 pakar bahasa, dan 1 guru. Pengumpulan data  kemampuan  memecahkan  masalah  menggunakan  tes.  Tahap  pengembangan  modul  IPA  berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah pada materi polusi serta dampaknya pada manusia dan lingkungan menggunakan model 4D meliputi tahapan define berupa analisis kebutuhan, tahap design berupa penyusunan draft modul, tahap develop berupa validasi draft modul, setelah valid dilakukan uji coba skala terbatas pada 10 siswa yang kemudian memperoleh kritik dan saran. Perbaikan draft  modul  dilakukan  sesuai  kritik  dan  saran  menjadi  draft  2  produk  dan  tahap  terakhir  dilakukan disseminate  pada  30  siswa  untuk  mengetahui  efektivitas  modul.  Modul  yang  dikembangkan  memiliki kualitas dengan kategori sangat baik sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA. Ada peningkatan kemampuan memecahkan masalah selama pembelajaran menggunakan modul IPA berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah pada materi polusi serta dampaknya pada manusia dan lingkungan, ditunjukkan oleh besarnya N-gain sebesar 0,62 dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase awareness and knowledge of disaster mitigation among students of MTs Darul Ma’arif Numbay through socialization and disaster response simulation methods. The background of this activity is the high risk of disasters in Jayapura, while the students' preparedness level is still low based on initial observations. The method used is participatory, starting with interactive socialization about the basic concepts of disaster mitigation, types of disasters that potentially occur in Jayapura, and the importance of readiness and appropriate actions when facing disasters. The material is delivered using visual aids and discussions, followed by a disaster response simulation in the form of an earthquake evacuation scenario involving all students. Evaluation is conducted through observations and question-and-answer sessions before and after the activity. The results show a significant increase in students' understanding of mitigation steps and evacuation procedures, as well as the formation of a disaster-aware culture within the school environment. Students become more prepared and responsive in emergency situations and are able to correctly explain mitigation procedures. Additionally, active student involvement in the simulation also enhances enthusiasm and coordination among school members.

Abstract

 Background:One of the responsibilities of nurses in dealing with health problems is with maximum prevention where a nurse or health worker provides education and health checks to the community regarding the importance of maintaining health from an early age. Purpose: of carrying out this community service is to play an important role in improving health status in the community where this examination can prevent disease, especially in the residents of Kandangrejo village. Method :uses health counseling actions related to degenerative diseases, assessments, health checks in the form of checking blood pressure, sugar levels and uric acid. Where this also ended with the complementary implementation of cupping in treating residents' complaints related to the illness they were experiencing. This activity lasted for 1 full day which was attended by the local RT/RW on April 3 2023. The results: obtained in the community service activities were that the people of Kandangrejo village became aware of their health conditions and could feel the effects of complementary cupping therapy after the action was taken .

Abstract

 Background: Anemia is a condition of reduced red blood cells (erythrocytes) in blood circulation or haemoglobin (HB) period so that it is unable to fulfill its function as a carrier of oxygen throughout the body. Based on the results of Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2013 in Indonesia, the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women was 37.1%, and in 2018 now the prevalence rate of anemia is 48.9%, increasing from 2013. Natural ingredients that can be used as an alternative to treat anemia and are easily obtained and cultivated also contain protein, vitamin C, and iron. and increased hemoglobin one of which is dragon fruit Mature dragon fruit contains many organic acids, proteins, minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, and vitamin C.   Methodology: The subjects in this activity were pregnant women in Dusun Kranggan, Dusun Nonang, Dusun Glonggong, dan Dusun Sukorejo, Desa Krangganharjo, Kecamatan Toroh, Kabupaten Grobogan Provinsi Jawa Tengah. This activity will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024.   Results: The knowledge of the subject (pregnant women in Krangganharjo village) increased, which was initially unknown about the benefits of iron and what foods contain iron and how it is processed became known. There was an increase before and after the completion of health education in the range of 70%.   Conclusion: The knowledge of the subject (pregnant women in krangganharjo village) increased, which was initially unknown about the benefits of iron and what foods contain   iron and how it is processed became known.
