Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Organic Product Engineering (REPRO) is one of the MSMEs that is trying to reduce organic waste, namely by processing organic waste using BSF (Black Soldier Fly) flies. In addition to decomposing organic waste, the production results at UMKM REPRO produce derivative products that have selling value, namely solid organic fertilizer resulting from filtering used maggot feed and liquid organic fertilizer obtained from filtering fermented maggot feed. With the existence of products that have selling value, it is necessary to develop product packaging design with development efforts that are implemented to increase value added, branding, attractiveness and competitiveness in facing the modern market with good product quality, and relatively cheap product prices from the results of ideas through creative and innovative behavior. The objective of this research is to provide a packaging design proposal that can compete in the market and analyze the added value of MSMEs in the development of solid and liquid organic fertilizer product packaging. Abstract

UMKM Ikan Asap Mak Kum memproduksi ikan asap di Kendal, Jawa Tengah. Proses pengasapan yang masih dilakukan secara tradisional dengan peralatan sederhana menyebabkan hasil yang tidak konsisten, baik dari segi rasa, warna, maupun tekstur. Selain itu, pekerja mengalami keluhan fisik akibat paparan panas, dan kondisi cuaca lembap menghambat aliran asap, mengurangi efisiensi pengasapan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan alat pengasapan ikan yang lebih efisien, ergonomis, dan mampu meningkatkan kapasitas produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang alat pengasapan ikan dengan kapasitas lebih besar, pengurangan asap berlebih, serta dilengkapi dengan tuas rotasi untuk mempermudah pekerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan antropometri untuk menentukan dimensi yang ergonomis dan dilakukan simulasi alat menggunakan software Autodesk Fusion untuk menguji kekuatan dan ketahanan struktur alat. Hasil rancangan alat pengasapan ikan UMKM Mak Kum memiliki dimensi tinggi 162 cm, kedudukan rak 104 cm, lebar 61 cm, dan panjang 110 cm, dengan kapasitas rak dari 47 menjadi 78 potong per proses. Pada simulasi analisis tegangan menunjukkan tegangan maksimum 0,4852 Mpa, simulasi perpindahan menunjukkan pergeseran maksimum 0,0039 mm, dan simulasi faktor keamanan dengan nilai 15. Berdasarkan simulasi faktor keamanan dihasilkan warna biru tua yang berarti rangka tersebut aman untuk dibebani gaya sebesar 300 N.

Abstract

Peran User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kemudahan penggunaan dan kepuasan pengguna website. Permasalahan utama penelitian ini adalah ketidakpastian faktor usability yang paling berpengaruh terhadap persepsi pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh learnability, efficiency, memorability, dan tampilan/fitur terhadap persepsi antarmuka website produkorganik.id. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan kuesioner System Usability Scale (26 butir pertanyaan) yang divalidasi ahli dan diisi oleh 51 responden. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, regresi linier berganda, dan One Way ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa learnability (F hitung = 4,529; sig. = 0,000) dan tampilan/fitur (F hitung = 8,844; sig. = 0,000) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi antarmuka, sedangkan efficiency (F hitung = 2,079; sig. = 0,043) dan memorability (F hitung = 2,655; sig. = 0,011) tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kemudahan pembelajaran dan kualitas visual dalam meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna. Implikasi praktisnya, pengembang disarankan memprioritaskan perbaikan desain antarmuka yang intuitif dan menarik untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna. Abstract[Usability Evaluation of Organic Product Websites Using the System Usability Scale Method] The role of User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) is essential in enhancing website usability and user satisfaction. The main problem addressed in this study is the uncertainty regarding which usability factors have the most significant influence on user perceptions. This research aims to evaluate the effects of learnability, efficiency, memorability, and appearance/features on the interface perception of produkorganik.id. A quantitative approach was employed using a 26-item System Usability Scale questionnaire, validated by experts and completed by 51 respondents. Data analysis included validity, reliability, and normality tests, multiple linear regression, and One-Way ANOVA. The research findings indicate that learnability (F = 4.529; p = 0.000) and appearance/features (F = 8.844; p = 0.000) have a significant effect on interface perception, while efficiency (F = 2.079; p = 0.043) and memorability (F = 2.655; p = 0.011) do not have a significant effect. These findings emphasize the importance of ease of learning and visual quality in improving user experience. In practical terms, developers are encouraged to prioritize intuitive and visually appealing interface designs to enhance user satisfaction.Keywords: user interface; user experience; usability testing

Abstract

This research was conducted in the Vacuum Department of PT XYZ, which operates a CNC vacuum thermoforming machine for bus interior production. This machine is vital as it is the only production machine used continuously, making it prone to breakdowns that can hinder productivity. The research aims to implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to enhance productivity by measuring Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and analyzing the Six Big Losses to identify the most significant factors contributing to unproductivity. The results show that productivity in the Vacuum Department is still below the ideal OEE value, with an average of 72.84%. The largest factor contributing to unproductivity is Reduce Speed Loss, with a time loss of 14.74 hours or 43.82%. To improve productivity, it is necessary to implement TPM approaches, including preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as operator training to enhance skills and minimize productivity decline.

Abstract

In this modern era, simulation software such as Arena has become a valuable tool for designing, optimizing, and analyzing the flow of supply chains efficiently. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the flow of waste supply chains using Arena software. The second objective is to analyze the behavior of the people of Semarang city regarding organic waste processing using a macroergonomics approach. This study employs a simulation approach by utilizing Arena software to model the flow of waste supply chains from collection, sorting, processing, to final disposal stages. Using Arena software, simulation results can be measured and objectively analyzed, serving as a basis for identifying improvements and enhancements in the waste supply chain. To manage organic waste in an area it is necessary to involve cognitive, psychological, organizational and environmental aspects. The strategy for managing organic waste in urban areas such as the Semarang area is to manage and ensure that organic waste has added value and sales value.

Abstract

National Waste Management Information System shows that the amount of waste handled in Semarang City over the last three years has decreased with an average decline index of 1.06% per year. This is reinforced by the results of interviews with the Semarang City Environmental Service, that the handling of organic waste is still very limited because so far the handling has been more focused on an-organic waste. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate supply chain performance to determine the constraints in organic waste management from upstream to downstream. Based on the research results using the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method through a focus group discussion process involving eight experts in the field of waste management, it is known that the supply chain performance for handling organic waste in Semarang City has 11 elements of constraints, which are divided into seven priority levels. The element with the highest priority is related to the availability of organic waste supplies, while the element with the lowest priority is technological innovation and the application of appropriate technology. Improving the performance of organic waste management supply chains should focus on elements according to priority.

Abstract

UMKM REPRO merupakan salah satu UMKM di Kota Semarang, yang bergerak di bidang olahan limbah organik dan budidaya maggot. Saat ini produk yang dihasilkan oleh UMKM REPRO hanya berupa maggot fresh dan maggot kering yang biasa diperjualbelikan dengan para peternak untuk pakan ikan maupun unggas. Maggot fresh memiliki kandungan nutrisi yang cukup baik bagi ternak, namun memiliki keterbatasan yaitu life cycle product yang sangat pendek yaitu hanya berkisar 3 – 5 hari sebelum akhirnya berkembang biak menjadi pupa. Hal ini berdampak pada keterbatasan jangkauan area pemasaran UMKM REPRO, yaitu hanya di area Semarang Raya. Melalui Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini, tim telah berhasil melakukan Pendampingan pada UMKM REPRO dan menghasilkan diversifikasi produk turunan maggot berupa pelet magot. Produk pelet magot tersebut memiliki siklus hidup produk lebih panjang dibanding magot fresh serta memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik. Hal ini akan berdampak pada meningkatnya daya saing UMKM REPRO dikarenakan produk tersebut berpotensi mendukung tercapainya jangkauan area pemasaran yang lebih luas dan peningkatan omset penjualan UMKM REPRO kedepannya.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to empower Repro Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Semarang City to process organic waste, specifically, milk protein waste from the bread industry and banana tree waste from agriculture, into poultry feed pellet products. These products are intended to support livestock food security, environmental management, and social empowerment. The problem-solving method was implemented through an applied green economy approach, engineering a series of poultry feed pellet production machines integrated with an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system. The realization of this engineered technology series adheres to several technical standards and is designed with multi-feature mechanisms: coarse chopping, fine chopping, pulverizing, and pellet molding. The integration of the AI system serves as a virtual assistant to guide the partner in optimally composing the raw material mixture and simultaneously predict the resulting content based on quality parameters. This integration aims to enhance process effectiveness through improved quality outcomes while maintaining production efficiency. The results of the program realization show that the partner is able to utilize the technology effectively to independently produce poultry feed pellets at a cost of approximately IDR 5,850 per kg. Furthermore, the program's impact has demonstrated an ability to enhance self-reliance, competitiveness, environmental awareness, and business sustainability, thereby contributing to community welfare and advancing the people's economy at the MSME level.
