Abstract

Optimistic Gems (OG) Jewelry is one of the MSMEs in Pacitan Regency founded by Mrs. Istianah in 2014. OG Jewelry sells various types of jewelry made from gemstones by highlighting the richness of local natural resources. With the declining trend of gemstones since 2024, OG Jewelry needs to improve their marketing strategy, especially on social media. OG Jewelry's product marketing has been carried out through social media and holding exhibitions. OG Jewelry has an Instagram and WhatsApp Business account. OG Jewelry also actively sells its products online. OG Jewelry also collaborates with various parties, such as the government. The PKM implementation method is carried out through interactive webinars and intensive mentoring in the form of Focus Group Discussions (FGD) which were held on May 12, 2024. The PKM team provided training and consultation to Mrs. Istianah and her business partners, MSME actors in Pacitan Regency. The webinar activity also involved practitioners in the marketing field, namely Mr. Handarbeni Setio Wicaksono. The result of this PKM is an increase in their brand awareness and significant marketing effectiveness including an invitation to participate in Fashion Fest 2024. This activity was able to contribute to updating the OG Jewelry business profile to become an international MSME through superior participation in Fashion Fest 2024 and also succeeded in modifying the OG Jewelry profile on social media which had an impact on increasing engagement with customers ABSTRAK Optimistie Gems (OG) Jewelry adalah salah satu UMKM  di Kabupaten Pacitan yang didirikan oleh Ibu Istianah pada tahun 2014. OG Jewelry menjual berbagai jenis perhiasan dengan bahan batu akik dengan menonjolkan kekayaan sumber daya alam lokal. Dengan menurunnya tren batu akik sejak tahun 2024, OG Jewelry perlu meningkatkan strategi pemasaran mereka, terutama di media sosial. Pemasaran produk OG Jewelry sudah dilakukan melalui media sosial dan mengadakan pameran. OG Jewelry memiliki akun Instagram dan WhatsApp Business. OG Jewelry juga menjual produknya dengan aktif secara online. OG Jewelry juga menjalin kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak, seperti pemerintah. Metode pelaksanaan PKM dilakukan melalui webinar interaktif dan pendampingan intensif berupa Focus Group Discussion (FGD) yang diadakan pada tanggal 12 Mei 2024. Tim PKM memberikan pelatihan dan konsultasi kepada Ibu Istianah beserta rekan-rekan bisnis, para pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Pacitan. Kegiatan webinar juga melibatkan praktisi dalam bidang pemasaran, yaitu Bapak Handarbeni Setio Wicaksono. Hasil dari PKM ini adalah terjadinya peningkatan kesadaran mereka terhadap merek dan efektivitas pemasaran yang signifikan termasuk undangan untuk berpartisipasi dalam Fashion Fest 2024. Kegiatan ini mampu memberikan kontribusi update profil bisnis OG Jewelry menjadi UMKM go internasional lewat partisipasi unggulan pada Fashion Fest 2024 dan juga berhasil memodifikasi profil OG Jewelry di media sosial yang berdampak meningkatkan engagement dengan pelanggan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial ratios that consists of liquidity, solvency, firm size, profitability, and activity in predicting financial distress. The population of this study consists of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020–2023. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 692 data points from 173 companies over four years. The analysis employed panel data binary logistic regression, processed using E-views 13.0 software. The findings reveal that liquidity, profitability, and activity have a negative and significant effect on financial distress. In contrast, solvency and firm size have a positive and significant impact on financial distress. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui pengaruh rasio keuangan yang terdiri dari liquidity, solvency, firm size, profitability, dan activity terhadap kemungkinan terjadinya financial distress. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) pada periode 2020-2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dan menghasilkan sampel data berjumlah 692 yang terdiri dari 173 perusahaan dengan periode 4 tahun. Teknik pengujian yang digunakan adalah regresi logistik biner data panel dan diolah menggunakan software E-views 13.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa liquidity, profitability, dan activity berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress. Sedangkan solvency dan firm size berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress.

Abstract

This paper examines the role of dividend policy in corporate financial management and its impact on the relationship between companies and shareholders. Focusing on non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that distributed dividends from 2019 to 2023, the study analyzes how factors such as controller ownership, collateralizable assets, liquidity, profitability, and growth influence dividend decisions. Utilizing Agency Theory, the research highlights conflicts that may arise between shareholders and management regarding profit distribution. The analysis examines 754 companies listed during this period. The findings reveal that internal factors significantly shape dividend policies and affect shareholder expectations. This study enhances understanding of how companies balance stable dividends for investors with retained earnings for growth. It offers insights for investors seeking reliable returns and policymakers aiming to understand dividend dynamics in emerging markets, ultimately contributing to effective corporate governance and financial strategy in the region. Makalah ini mengkaji peran kebijakan dividen dalam manajemen keuangan perusahaan dan dampaknya pada hubungan antara perusahaan dan pemegang saham. Fokus pada perusahaan non-keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia yang membagikan dividen dari 2019 hingga 2023, studi ini menganalisis bagaimana faktor seperti kepemilikan pengendali, aset yang dapat dijaminkan, likuiditas, profitabilitas, dan pertumbuhan mempengaruhi keputusan dividen. Dengan menggunakan Teori Agensi, penelitian ini menyoroti konflik yang mungkin muncul antara pemegang saham dan manajemen terkait distribusi laba. Analisis ini mencakup 754 perusahaan yang terdaftar selama periode tersebut. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal secara signifikan membentuk kebijakan dividen dan mempengaruhi ekspektasi pemegang saham. Studi ini memperdalam pemahaman tentang bagaimana perusahaan menyeimbangkan dividen yang stabil untuk investor dengan laba ditahan untuk pertumbuhan. Ini menawarkan wawasan bagi investor yang mencari pengembalian yang dapat diandalkan dan pembuat kebijakan yang ingin memahami dinamika dividen di pasar berkembang, serta berkontribusi pada tata kelola perusahaan dan strategi keuangan yang efektif di kawasan tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh leverage, likuiditas, dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2020-2023. Price to Book Value (PBV) digunakan untuk mengukur nilai perusahaan, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) digunakan untuk mengukur leverage, Current Ratio (CR) digunakan untuk mengukur likuiditas, serta Return on Assets (ROA) digunakan untuk mengukur profitabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dan diperoleh sampel penelitian sebesar 27 perusahaan (432 observasi). Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode regresi data panel dan diolah dengan software Eviews12. Setelah dilakukan pengujian, hasil penelitian menunjukkan leverage berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, kemudian likuiditas berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, serta profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. This study aims to examine the effect of leverage, liquidity, and profitability on the value of food and beverage sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020-2023. Price to Book Value (PBV) is used to measure company value, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) is used to measure leverage, Current Ratio (CR) is used to measure liquidity, and Return on Assets (ROA) is used to measure profitability. This study used purposive sampling and obtained a research sample of 27 companies (432 observations). Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of brand personality, word of mouth, and price factors on brand awareness, as well as their impact on Shopee users' purchase decisions. Using a correlational non-experimental quantitative approach, this research involved 110 respondents who were active Shopee users and had made transactions. Primary data was obtained through a 1-5 Likert scale-based questionnaire which was distributed online and analyzed using the SmartPLS application. The results of the analysis showed that brand personality and word of mouth had a positive and significant influence on brand awareness, while price did not have a significant influence. Although brand personality and word of mouth can influence consumer interest, they do not have a direct significant influence on purchase decisions. On the other hand, price has a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions, indicating that competitive prices directly influence consumer preferences. Brand awareness functions as an important mediator, strengthening the influence of brand personality and word of mouth on purchase decisions. In conclusion, Shopee can implement two main strategies: increasing brand awareness through brand personality and word of mouth to build long-term loyalty, or using pricing strategies to increase sales quickly but short term. These findings provide insights for e-commerce platforms in designing more effective marketing strategies to maintain competitiveness and increase customer satisfaction in a dynamic market. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisisa pengaruh faktor brand personality, word of mouth, dan price terhadap brand awareness, serta dampaknya pada purchase decision pengguna Shopee. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif non-eksperimental korelasional, penelitian ini melibatkan 110 responden yang merupakan pengguna aktif Shopee yang telah melakukan transaksi. Data primer diperoleh melalui kuisioner berbasis skala likert 1-5 yang disebarkan secara online dan dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa brand personality dan word of mouth memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap brand awareness, sedangkan price tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan. Meskipun brand personality dan word of mouth dapat memengaruhi minat konsumen, keduanya tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan langsung terhadap purchase decision. Sebaliknya, price memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap purchase decision, menunjukkan bahwa harga kompetitif langsung memengaruhi preferensi konsumen. Brand awareness berfungsi sebagai mediator penting, memperkuat pengaruh brand personality dan word of mouth terhadap purchase decision.Kesimpulannya, Shopee dapat menerapkan dua strategi utama: meningkatkan brand awareness melalui brand personality dan word of mouth untuk membangun loyalitas jangka panjang, atau menggunakan strategi harga untuk meningkatkan penjualan secara cepat tetapi jangka pendek. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi platform e-commerce dalam merancang strategi pemasaran yang lebih efektif guna mempertahankan daya saing dan meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan di pasar yang dinamis.

Abstract

TThis study aims to assess the validity and reliability of the verbal creativity test developed in order to identify the creative potential of prospective public relations practitioners who will be tasked with developing and promoting Indonesia’s creative industries. The test developed was named VCT - ICI, which is an abbreviation for Verbal Creativity Test - Indonesian Creative Industries (Tes Kreativitas Verbal - Industri Kreatif Indonesia). This test was structured based on 16 subsectors of Indonesia’s creative industries, which were used as a stimulus in designing test items. The respondents in this study were 201 students majoring in public relations of the faculty of communication sciences from three Indonesia’s universities. Data analysis was carried out to assess the validity and reliability of the verbal creativity test developed. Further analysis produces norms (standard scores) for interpreting the verbal creativity measurement results.

Abstract

The banking industry plays a vital role in a country, as all industries and communities are connected to the banking sector. Banks serve a primary function of collecting and distributing public funds, while also supporting the implementation of national development aimed at enhancing economic equality, equitable distribution, and national stability. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Operating Expenses to Operating Income, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non Performing Loan, and Loan to Deposit Ratio on the Value of Banking Companies on the IDX for the quarterly period 2021-2023. The population in this study were all banking companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample in this study was 43 samples and 476 observation data. The data processing technique used the Eviews 12 application. The results of the study indicate BOPO has a negative and significant effect on the Banking Firm Value. The results of the study indicate CAR has a positive and significant effect on the Banking Firm Value. The results of the study indicate NPL and LDR have a negative and insignificant effect on the Banking Firm Value. Industri perbankan memainkan peran yang penting di suatu negara, semua industri atau masyarakat berhubungan dengan sektor perbankan. Perbankan memiliki fungsi utama sebagai pengumpulan dan distribusi dana masyarakat, serta mendukung implementasi pembangunan nasional dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesetaraan ekonomi, pemerataan ekonomi, dan stabilitas nasional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Beban Operasional terhadap Pendapatan Operasional, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non Performing Loan, dan Loan to Deposit Ratio terhadap Banking Firm Value di BEI periode kuartal tahun 2021 – 2023. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan perbankan di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdapat sebanyak 43 sampel dan 476 data observasi. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi Eviews 12. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan BOPO memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Banking Firm Value. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan CAR memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Banking Firm Value. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan NPL dan LDR bpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Banking Firm Value.

Abstract

Pemekaran daerah terjadi cukup masif setelah berlakunya Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 1999 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah, termasuk di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara dibentuk tahun 1964 dengan empat kabupaten, kemudian sampai tahun 2014 telah terdapat pemekaran 13 kabupaten/kota. Dalam praktiknya, kabupaten/kota di Sulawesi Tenggara menunjukkan kondisi keuangan yang beragam baik kabupaten/kota induk maupun pemekarannya. Penelitian ini mengukur kondisi keuangan pemerintah kabupaten/kota induk dan pemekarannya di wilayah Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara tahun 2019-2023. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah empat kabupaten induk dan enam kabupaten/kota pemekaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Indikator dalam pengukuran kondisi keuangan meliputi ketergantungan daerah, kemandirian fiskal, income share, dan income growth, kemudian tingkat income share dan income growth disajikan dalam kuadran sebaran kemampuan daerah. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kabupaten/kota induk dan pemekaran di Sulawesi Tenggara memiliki tingkat ketergantungan daerah yang sangat tinggi dengan rentang 76,85% s.d. 95,00%, tingkat kemandirian fiskal yang belum mandiri dengan rentang 0,030 s.d. 0,204, tingkat income share 8,85% s.d. 33,45%, tingkat income growth 11,92% s.d. 69,57%, serta sebaran kemampuan daerah pada kuadran I, kuadran III, dan kuadran IV. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kabupaten/kota induk dan pemekaran di Sulawesi Tenggara memiliki ketergantungan sangat tinggi terhadap pihak luar khususnya pemerintah pusat, belum mampu mendanai kegiatan mereka secara mandiri tanpa bergantung pada bantuan eksternal khususnya pemerintah pusat, memiliki kemampuan membiayai 8,85% s.d. 33,45% belanja dan kewajiban pokok lainnya, serta memiliki pendapatan yang terus-menerus bertumbuh dari tahun 2019-2023 dan menunjukkan prospek ekonomi di masa mendatang.   Regional expansion occurred quite massively after the enactment of Law Number 22 of 1999 concerning Local Government, including in Southeast Sulawesi Province. Southeast Sulawesi Province was established in 1964 with four regencies, and by 2014, there had been the expansion of 13 regencies/cities. In practice, the financial conditions of regencies/cities in Southeast Sulawesi vary, both in the parent and the newly formed local governments. This study asseses the financial conditions of the parent and newly formed regencies/cities in Southeast Sulawesi Province from 2019 to 2023. The sample in this study includes four parent regencies and six newly formed regencies/cities. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The indicators for assessing financial conditions include regional dependency, fiscal indenpendency, income share, and income growth, additionally, income share and income growth levels are presented in a quadrant of local capacity distribution. The study shows that parent and newly formed regencies/cities in Southeast Sulawesi have a very high level of regional dependency ranging from 76.85% to 95.00%, fiscal independency levels that are not yet independent, ranging from 0.030 to 0.204, income share levels ranging from 8.85% to 33.45%, income growth levels ranging from 11.92% to 69.57%, and regional capacity distribution in quadrant I, quadrant III, and quadrant IV. This indicates that the parent and newly formed regencies/cities in Southeast Sulawesi have a very high dependency on external parties, especially the central government, unable to fund their activities independently without relying on external assistance, particularly from the central government, are able to finance 8.85% to 33.45% of their expenditures and other basic obligations, and have continuously growing revenues from 2019 to 2023, indicating positive economic prospects for the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to identify the factors that influence firm value in the energy sector. This is driven by data on stock price growth obtained from IDX Statistics, which shows that, on average, stock prices in the energy sector have increased over the past five years. The average growth in the energy sector was recorded at 9% in 2020, 36% in 2021, 33% in 2022, and 9% in 2023. Thus, the average growth rate of the energy sector over the last five years has been 22% per year. The researcher also found that there is still a lack of journals addressing the factors influencing firm value in the energy sector in Indonesia. This study is based on four independent variables and one dependent variable. The dependent variable in question is Firm Value. The independent variables include Capital Structure, Liquidity, Profitability, and Dividend Policy. The companies examined in this study are energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that have adequate financial statement data. The research period covers five years, from 2019 to 2023, focusing on companies in the relevant sector. All selected variables are based on previous research findings. Based on the study conducted, it can be concluded that two variables influence Firm Value: Capital Structure and Profitability, both of which have a significant positive relationship with Firm Value. Meanwhile, the other two variables, Liquidity and Dividend Policy, are found to have no significant relationship with Firm Value. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi nilai perusahaan di sektor energi. Penelitian ini didorong oleh data pertumbuhan harga saham yang diperoleh dari Statistik IDX, yang menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata harga saham di sektor energi mengalami peningkatan selama lima tahun terakhir. Pertumbuhan rata-rata sektor energi tercatat sebesar 9% pada tahun 2020, 36% pada tahun 2021, 33% pada tahun 2022, dan 9% pada tahun 2023. Dengan demikian, rata-rata tingkat pertumbuhan sektor energi selama lima tahun terakhir mencapai sekitar 22% per tahun. Peneliti juga menemukan bahwa masih terdapat kekurangan jurnal yang membahas faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi nilai perusahaan di sektor energi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu variabel dependen, yaitu Nilai Perusahaan, dan empat variabel independen, yaitu Struktur Modal, Likuiditas, Profitabilitas, dan Kebijakan Dividen. Perusahaan yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini merupakan perusahaan energi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dan memiliki data laporan keuangan yang memadai. Periode penelitian mencakup lima tahun, yaitu dari tahun 2019 hingga 2023, dengan fokus pada perusahaan-perusahaan di sektor terkait. Seluruh variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini didasarkan pada temuan penelitian sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat dua variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan, yaitu Struktur Modal dan Profitabilitas, yang keduanya memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan. Sementara itu, dua variabel lainnya, yakni Likuiditas dan Kebijakan Dividen, tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of green banking performance, specifically green banking activities mediated by sustainable green financing, by comparing conditions before and after Covid-19 amidst the phenomenon of banking digitalization. The researchers hypothesize a significant and positive relationship between green banking activities, green banking performance and sustainable green financing, as well as a significant and positive relationship between sustainable green financing and green bank performance. Additionally, the researcher examines the differences in the impact of green banking on sustainable green financing and green bank performance before and after COVID-19. The research method used is Ordinary Least Square with the Causal Step method to test the mediation variable and Moderated Regression Analysis to test the moderation variable using SPSS. The results of this study have important implications and can serve as a reference for banks in Indonesia in identifying factors that influence green bank performance and as a consideration in the development of green banking in the future, given the limited research on this topic in Indonesia.
