Abstract

Family is the smallest unit of society that has a large influence on the health of each member of his family. The family is the focus of the approach in implementing the “Program Indonesia Sehat”. Families have assignments in the health sector to improve and maintain family health. One aspect that becomes a benchmark is the level of family independence. This study used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 150 families. Data analysis using the Spearman rho correlation test. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between family health duties and the level of family independence (r = 0.630, p = 0.000). Based on the results of this study, it is expected to be input and information about family health tasks as a measure of success in increasing family independence when providing family nursing care. Keywords: Family, Health Assignments, Level of Independence

Abstract

The elderly will experience changes both biologically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually. Spiritual needs are the need to find meaning and purpose in life, the need to love and be loved and the sense of attachment and the need to give and get. This study aims to determine the relationship between the spiritual level with the incidence of depression in the elderly in the Surabaya Social Service Work Area. The design of this research was analytic observational design with cross sectional approach. Samples were taken using Probability Sampling Technique with Simple Random Sampling approach and obtained a sample of 113 elderly people at UPTD Griya Werdha Jambangan and 18 elderly people at UPTD Liponsos Keputih Surabaya. This research instrument uses DSES (Daily Spiritual Exercise Scale) and GDS (Geriatric Depression Scale) Data analysis using Spearmen's Rho Test with the level ρ <α = 0.05. The results showed that the relationship between the spiritual level with the incidence of depression in the elderly with the Spearmen's Rho test results ρ = 0.00012 (ρ <0.05) and the correlation coefficient r = +0.372 which means that there is a low relationship (0.60 - 0.80) between the spiritual level variables with the incidence depression in the elderly. Results of the study. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the spiritual level with the incidence of depression in the elderly in the work area of the Surabaya Social Service.Keywords: Elderly, Spiritual, Depression

Abstract

Kecemasan yang timbul pada wanita menopause sering dihubungkan dengan adanya kekhawatiran dalam menghadapi perubahan fisik maupun psikis yang akan dialami oleh ibu menopause. Keluhan yang dialami pada ibu menopause yaitu Hot Flashes, jantung berdebar, gangguan tidur, gangguan tulang dan persendian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecemasan ibu menopause dengan tingkat keluhan yang dialami di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pegirian Kecamatan Semampir Surabaya.  Desain penelitian ini adalah analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan populasi 1560 orang pada bulan April - Mei. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Accidental Sampling sehingga mendapatkan 103 sampel. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner kecemasan HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale), keluhan menopause MRS (Menopause Rating Scale) dan data di analisa dengan uji spearman rho Hasil penelitian didapatkan ibu menopause yang mengalami tingkat kecemasan sedang sebanyak 41 orang (39,8%) dan tingkat keluhan sedang sebanyak 43 orang (41,7%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari uji statistik spearman rho didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar ? = 0,049. Nilai signifikansi tersebut lebih kecil dari ? = 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel tingkat kecemasan ibu menopause memiliki hubungan dengan tingkat keluhan yang dialami di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pegirian Kecamatan Semampir Surabaya. Bagi ibu menopause yang mengalami tingkat kecemasan dapat berkonsultasi dengan pelayanan kesehatan di Puskesmas Pegirian dalam penanganannya dan pada tingkat keluhan yang dialami ibu menopause dapat mengikuti kegiatan aktif yang dilakukan oleh Puskesmas Pegirian guna untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup yang sehat.

Abstract

Background, Mental health of school-age children will be achieved by individuals who are able to develop physically, intellectually, and emotionally. However, because of the magnitude of infectious diseases that occur, mental health problems are not too taken into account. School-age children who have mental health problems like vulnerable emotional and behavior in the functioning of daily life, even experiencing difficulties in learning and socialization functions. The problem is often not responded to in time so that school-age children come to the consultation in conditions that are quite severe and require appropriate treatment. The purpose of this activity is to improve students ' knowledge related to mental health problems in school-age children. Methods, Community service consists of three stages, Education, Student Assistance and ended by the evaluation of health education activities on mental health problems in school-age children at SD Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya. These activities involve the head of School, teachers and students. Results and discussion, the results of posttest conducted obtained 78% of participants were able to correctly answer questions about mental health problems in school-age children. Conclusion, it is expected that school students can become the successors of the nation who have an understanding and knowledge of mental health problems in school-age children in order to form self-awareness of the understanding and knowledge that has been obtained by students.

Abstract

Introduction: Anak berkebutuhan khusus adalah anak yang memiliki keterbatasan mental, fisik, dan perilaku hal ini dalam perawatan diri menjadi salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh anak berkebutuhan khusus, dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari khususnya dalam kemandirian perawatan diri. Salah satu faktor yang berperan penting sebagai pendukung kemandirian adalah dukungan keluarga.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan tingkt kemandirian perawatan diri pada anak berkebutuhan khusus di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Methods: Desain penelitian yang digunakan analitik korelasional. Sampel berjumlah 45 responden anak berkebutuhan khusus diambil secara total sampling. Variabel independen adalah dukungan keluarga dan variabel dependen adalah tingkat kemandirian perawatan diri. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan observasi perawatan diri. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji fisher’s exact test. Results: Hasil penelitian menunjukan dukungan keluarga sebagaian besar cukup dan tingkat kemandirian perawatan diri sebagian besar mandiri. Hasil korelasi  fisher’s exact test  didapatkan nilai p = 0,002 < α = 0,05 berarti dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kemandirian perawatan diri pada anak berkebutuhan khusus. Conclusion Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan orang tua meningkatkan wawasan serta edukasi sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan tingkat kemandirian perawatan diri pada anak berkebutuhan khusus
