Abstract

The objective of this research is to study between physical fitness, discipline, and self-confidence with academic achievement. The research was conducted at Land Transport Academy in Bekasi West Java, with n=118 cadets were selected randomly. The data was analyzed using simple correlation, multiple correlations, simple regression and multiple regressions. The research concludes that there is positive correlation between: (1) Physical Fitness and academic achievement, (2) discipline and academic achievement, (3) Self Confidence and academic achievement, and (4) physical Fitness, discipline, and self-confidence with academic achievement. Therefore, Academic achievement can be improved by improving physical fitness, discipline, and Self Confidence.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the students’ interest in the Volleyball learning towards VIII grade of SMPN 7 Karawang in Academic 2018/2019. For answer the research problem that have been formulated, the author used a quantitative descriptive approach with survey a method. The research was conducted in junior high school to 35 respondents. The population of study was the students in VIII grade of SMPN 7 Karawang, the total of populations is 144 people. According to Suharsimi Arikunto (1998:115) if the population more than 100 people, tha sample can be 10-2-% or more. In order to be more representative of this study, the researcher took the sample by using random sample technique, each element or member of the population has the same opportunity to be elected to become a sample. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been presented, it is concluded that the interest of VIII grade students of SMPN 7 Karawang towards volleyball learning is being considered that the highest frequency is in the moderate category with 22 people or 63% of the population. The VII grade students’ interest about learning volleyball game was categorized as the very high, it was 3 people or 9%, and very low was 3 people or 9%,. For the result, it can be categorized the level of students’ interest with the interest qualification showed the result 67,71% students interest to participate the volleyball learning.

Abstract

Pengelolaan ekstrakurikuler merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam keberlangsungankegiatan ekstrakurikuler di suatu sekolah. Apabila pengelolaannya dilakukan dengan baik makakegiatan ekstrakurikuler di sekolah mampu berjalan dengan baik dan dapat mencapai tujuan yang telahditetapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui serta mendeskripsikan bagaimanapengelolaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler futsal di MTs Ghoyatul Jihad Karawang. Penelitian ini dilakukandi MTs Ghoyatul Jihad Karawang dengan populasi yaitu siswa anggota ekstrakurikuler futsal dansampelnya yaitu terdiri dari 5 orang siswa anggota ekstrakurikuler futsal dan 1 orang guru yang jugasebagai pembina ekstrakurikuler futsal. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatifdengan metode penelitian yaitu metode deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian iniadalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta untuk teknik pengumpulan datanyamenggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan kegiatanekstrakurikuler futsal di MTs Ghoyatul Jihad Karawang masih kurang baik, hal ini dilihat daritahapan-tahapan yang dilakukan dalam pengelolaaan yaitu mencakup perencanaan, pengorganisasian,pelaksanaan, dan pengawasannya masih dilakukan kurang maksimal.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana problematika guru penjas dalam melakukan modifikasi media pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di MTs Ghoyatul Jihad Karawang. Untuk menjawab rumusan masalah penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggambarkan bagaimana problematika guru penjas dalam melakukan modifikasi media pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di MTs Ghoyatul Jihad Karawang, subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 kepala sekolah, 1 guru pendidikan jasmani, dan 4 orang siswa untuk diwawancarai. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam melakukan penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tekniik reduksi, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian tentang problematika guru penjas dalam memodifikasi media pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di MTs Ghoyatul Jihad karawang menyatakan bahwa untuk permasalahan yang dihadapi serta faktor penghambat guru penjas dalam melakukan modifikasi media pembelajaran keterbasannya biaya untuk membeli bahan-bahan modifikasi dan memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama untuk memodifikasi media pembelajaran karena banyaknya fasilitas olahraga yang ada di sekolah sudah rusak, sedangkan untuk gambaran guru dalam memodifikasi media pembelajaran berdasarkan wawacara dengan narasumber guru kurang memahami pengetahuan tentang memodifikasi fasilitas olahraga dalam melakukan pembelajaran praktek di lapangan guru selalu mengandalkan lingkungan di sekitar sekolah, selain itu karena minimnya fasilitas yang ada di sekolah memaksakan guru untuk melakukan proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas, karena kurangnya pengetahuan guru dalam memodifikasi media pembelajaran biasanya guru penjas di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ghoyatul Jihad Karawang selalu mengandalkan dana bantuan operasional sekolah untuk membeli sarana dan prasarana olahraga yang sudah rusak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of audio-visual learning media on student interest in physical education learning volleyball game material. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest. The population in this study selected 445 from 11 classes. The researcher used cluster random sampling technique. The samples used in this study were 2 classes, Class VII G and VII H which collected 80 students. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire or questionnaire. processing and analysis of research data using SPSS Software Version 24. There are three stages in this study, namely pretest, treatment, and posttest. The average scores obtained from the pretest and posttest are 142.56 and 150.48, respectively, which means that there is an increase in the average results of the pretest and posttest. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of audio-visual learning media on student interest, this can be seen from the results of hypothesis testing using paired sample tests that the value of Sig.(2-tailed) <0.05, which is 0.044. So it can be said that there is an influence of audio-visual learning media on student interest in learning physical education volleyball game material

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the teams games tournaments (TGT) learning model on physical education learning achievement for class VII at SMP Negeri 5 Karawang Barat, this study uses an experimental method and uses a quantitative approach with a total sample of 80 students in class VII A and VII E in the activity. In learning, sampling is done using cluster random sampling, based on the results of data processing that has been analyzed, the answers to the hypotheses that have been previously proposed by the researcher have been obtained. The results and conclusions about the influence of the Teams Games Tournamens (TGT) learning model on physical education learning achievement for class VII at SMP Negeri 5 Karawang Barat. Has an influence on physical education learning achievement, especially on the material of physical fitness activities. This is proven by doing a study that was carried out when learning material for physical fitness activities. In the application of the Teams Games Tournamens (TGT) learning model on the material of physical fitness activities, there is a significant influence in the Teams Games Tournamens (TGT) learning model on physical education learning achievement, so that by using the Teams Games Tournamens (TGT) learning model, learning activities become more effective. fun and interesting, besides that the Teams Games Tournamens (TGT) learning model is very effective and efficient given to students in carrying out physical education learning activities at SMP Negeri 5 Karawang Barat.

Abstract

This research aims to find out 1) the difference in the effect of the Direct Intruction Model on the passing down 2) the difference between before and after model. 3) to know the difference the method used in this research is. Fixed and Rotational Paired Down passing is a from of basic bottom passing ability training. The Problems raised in this study are 1) There are student and students who cannot do passing down 2) Lack Understanding Passing Down 3)Practice Value volley ball I see low. experimental 11 MIPA 2 target passing down from students 11MIPA2 totaling 20 people. The sampel of this research is half of the mathematics and natural sciences class, which is 20 people and the number is 45 people. The results showed that the correlatiaon (0,743) and the contingent coefficient (0.003) of the two research methods, it shows that there is a better change in students with lowr passing through the Direct Intruction Model. The conclusions of this research are 1) there is pendanub lower passing practice with Direct Intruction Model

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the truth of the effect of the drill method on basic passing technique skills in soccer extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Jasinga. This research is a quantitative research with pre-Experimental Design method with the type of Intact-Group Comparison. The population in this study amounted to 42 students who were registered to take part in extracurricular soccer activities. In this study using purposive random sampling technique, the sample used in this study amounted to 28 students, namely students who are still active and meet the terms and conditions. The instrument used in this research is a test. This test aims to measure the ability of basic passing technique skills in soccer extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 Jasinga. There are three stages in this study including pretest, treatment, and posttest. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study obtained the average value of the pretest group A and group B of 4.93 and for the average value of the posttest group A of 8.00 and group B of 8.14, which means there is an increase in the average results of the pretest and posttest for group A 3.07 and group B 3.21. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of the drill method on students' basic passing technique skills, this can be proven by the results of hypothesis testing using the SPSS version 22 program, namely the value of Sig.(2tailed) from group A and group B <0.05, which is 0.000. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the drill method on basic passing technique skills in soccer extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Jasinga.

Abstract

In this study, it aims to find out how the implementation of cooperative model in soccer learning in class XI MAN 2 Karawang. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive method. The subject in this study is the population class XI students from each class 2 people as representatives of 5 classes, so the subjects involved consisted of 10 students and 1 eye teacher corner lesson, sampling using simple random technique example. In this study, the researcher used the instrument itself by using data collection techniques, namely, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show the process of implementing the model cooperative learning in soccer learning in class XI MAN 2 Karawang walking well, effectively and smoothly, this is evidenced by 9 respondents getting maximum results in learning

Abstract

Masalah: Rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan shooting menjadi permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efek dari penerapan program permainan target dalam meningkatkan kemampuan shooting. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eskperimen dengan group pretest and posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berasal dari siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler futsal di MAN 1 Bekasi (n=23). Program permainan target diberikan sebanyak 6 kali pertemuan. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes shooting selama 15 detik. Analisis data menggunakan IBM SPSS versi 25.0 untuk menguji deskriptif data, normalitas dan paired sample t-test digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan nilai pre-post. Hasil: Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan permainan target selama 6 kali pertemuan secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan shooting siswa yang rendah menjadi lebih baik (p≤0.05). Dengan demikian penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kemampuan shooting dapat meningkat apabila siswa mendapatkan permainan target. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini berkontribusi sebagai cara untuk menambah wawasan guru dan pelatih mengenai pentingnya penggunaan permainan target dalam olahraga futsal.
