Abstract

This study aims to: (1) develop animal-shaped dakon seeds media that is feasible for use in cognitive learning; (2) determine the feasibility of the media based on expert validation and user responses; and (3) measure the effectiveness of the media in improving early childhood cognitive abilities. This research is expected to provide an alternative creative learning medium and serve as a solution to enhance early childhood cognition through educational play activities. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validity test was conducted by material experts, media experts, and early childhood education teachers, followed by small- and large-group trials at PAUD Harapan Bunda and TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1. The validation results indicated that the media was feasible, with percentage scores ranging from 88% to 96%. Meanwhile, trial results showed that 92.9% of children at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 and 83.3% of children at PAUD Harapan Bunda demonstrated improvement. Thus, it can be concluded that animal-shaped dakon seeds media is suitable for use as a learning aid and proven effective in enhancing early childhood cognitive development, while also making the learning process more enjoyable, interactive, and meaningful.

Abstract

This research is important to conduct with the aim of producing teaching materials, namely the development of learning media designed in accordance with the age of children, specifically the development of Augmented Reality–based learning media for introducing land animals to improve the cognitive abilities of early childhood. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model developed by Dick and Carey. ADDIE stands for Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery, and Evaluation. The subjects of this study were 15 students. The research was carried out at TK Thoyyibah Sukarame Bandar Lampung and TK Bangsa Ratu Bandar Lampung. The results showed that this Augmented Reality media was highly valid, as evidenced by the expert evaluations: material experts scored 90%, language experts 75%, and media experts 94%. Furthermore, the trial results at TK Thoyyibah Sukarame Bandar Lampung reached 90.83%, and at TK Bangsa Ratu Bandar Lampung 93.33%. Based on these findings, the Augmented Reality media is deemed feasible for use.

Abstract

Fire Preparedness is a form of disaster response (fire) that emphasizes increasing awareness and resilience toward disasters. This understanding must be instilled in the surrounding community, especially in early childhood, who still do not fully understand what to do when an unexpected disaster occurs. This issue shows the importance of disaster knowledge and risk reduction from an early age to provide understanding and guidance on the steps that should be taken when a threat arises in their environment, thereby minimizing disaster risks. This study aims to determine the implementation of fire preparedness activities for children aged 5–6 years at TK Tunas Permata, Bandar Lampung. The research began with problems identified during preliminary observation, where the researcher found that some children were afraid during the fire preparedness activity, and the teacher's explanation about the activity was not yet concrete enough. As a result, not all children could clearly understand the delivered learning. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of the research were teachers at TK Tunas Permata. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed qualitatively through data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the findings, teachers had made efforts to provide explanations and understanding regarding fire preparedness activities or disaster education. The students at TK Tunas Permata were considered to have developed as expected, particularly regarding social-emotional and language development. Therefore, these activities helped children to cooperate, support one another, and recognize symbols, tools, and fire emergency alarms.

Abstract

Kreativitas bagian penting yang harus di kembangkan dalam perkembangan anak usia dini, karena kreativitas sangat berpengaruh sekali dalam pengembangan aspek-aspek perkembangan anak usia dini, apabila kreativitas anak tidak dikembangkan sejak dini maka kemampuan kecerdasan dan kelancaran berpikir tidak berkembang Karena untuk menciptakan sesuatu produk dan bakat kreativitas yang tinggi diperlukan berdasarkan yang cukup tinggi pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya dalam mengembangkan kreativitas anak melalui permainan lego. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan subjek yaitu pendidik dan 14 peserta didik adapun objek penelitian yang peneliti gunakan yaitu upaya dalam mengembangkan Kreativitas anak melalui permainan lego. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dengan adanya permainan lego dapat mengembangkan kreativitas anak usia dini. Upaya dalam mengembangkan kreativitas melalui permainan lego yaitu penyediaan sarana permainan lego yang banyak, memberi kesempatan pada anak untuk menjalin komunikasi dan hubungan sosial dengan temannya, memberikan inovasi-inovasi kegunaan dan membentuk lego dengan bentuk-bentuk yang bervariasi, memberikan kesempatan waktu yang cukup untuk berkreasi, Mendukung anak mengingat kembali dan saling menceritakan pengalaman mainnya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menstimulus kemampuan social emosional anak masih belum optimal karena adanya anak yang agresif saat bermain, rasa percaya diri yang rendah, tidak sabar saat bermain dengan teman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menstimulus aspek perkembangan anak,. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas. Media pembelajaran puzzle mengandung nilai pendidikan sesuai dengan usia dan tingkat perkembangan anak, yang berfungsi untuk merangsang perkembangan fisik, sosial, bahasa dan kognitif pada anak. Permainan puzzle dapat meningkat aspek perkembangan social emosinal anak untuk menciptakan sikap mandiri, percaya diri, memahami peraturan dan disiplin, mau menolong dan membantu teman, serta memiliki rasa empati dengan teman. Perkembangan social emosional anak di Taman Kanak-Kanak Assalam 2 Sukarame Bandar Lampung yaitu menunjukkan belum berkembang 2 anak, 4 anak mulai berkembang, berkembang sesuai harapan 4 anak dan berkembang sangat baik terdapat 2 anak.
