Abstract

Tourism is a sector that can be considered profitable and also has the potential for an area to be developed into an asset that is used as a source of production for the region or the country itself. South Solok Regency is one of the regencies in West Sumatra Province, which is one of the prima donna of tourism in this province. Solok Selatan Regency itself is given a quite unique tagline, namely The Heart of Minangkabau. Giving the tagline really represents what the district has. Starting from a variety of tourist and cultural destinations in it. But there are not a few tours in South Solok Regency that have not been exposed by the Tourism Office, one of which is the Tangsi 3 Waterfall Tour. Tangsi 3 Waterfall is located in a tropical rain forest area which has a natural charm that is still beautiful. This waterfall is one of the hidden paradises that this district has.

Abstract

The making of this documentary aims to promote to the public about the traditional food bika koto baru found in Tanah Datar Regency. The promotion aims to increase the existence of traditional bika koto baru food in the midst of the existence of modern foods at this time. This documentary was made using the Capcut Pro 2023 application for video editing. The results of this study indicate that documentary films are effectively used as promotional materials for traditional bika koto baru food to the general public who have been set targets and assisted with supporting media as a promotional campaign for traditional bika koto baru food.

Abstract

Masjid Muhammadan Pasa Gadang adalah salah satu masjid bersejarah di Padang, Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Masjid ini memiliki hubungan erat dengan jalur rempah di kota Padang dan memiliki nilai sejarah yang penting dalam konteks perdagangan rempah pada masa lalu. Perancangan ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengenalkan Masjid Muhammadan Pasa Gadang sebagai bukti sejarah jalur rempah dalam bentuk audio visual. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Glass Box, metode ini dapat dibagi dalam empat tahap yaitu Tahap Persiapan, dalam tahap ini penulis memahami permasalahan yang ada di Masjid Muhammadan. Inkubasi, pada tahap ini penulis mempersiapkan diri dalam menemukan ide kreatif.  Luminasi, pada tahap ini penulis akan menarik kesimpulan hasil dari pengamatan di lapangan. Verifikasi evaluasi, tahap ini penulis meninjau hasil proses pengembangan ide. Perancangan ini menghasilkan media utama yaitu video yang berdurasi 8 menit dengan format video mp4(H264), resolusi 1920x1080 (full HD). Perancangan juga didukung media lainnya sebagai penunjang penyebaran informasi seperti video trailer, poster, T-Shirt, Instagram, youtube, sticker, dan totebag canvas

Abstract

 Surat Kabar Kampus Ganto (SKK Ganto) merupakan salah satu lembaga pers mahasiswa di bidang jurnalistik yang ada di Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). Diakibatkan kurang tersosialisasikan SKK ganto kepada mahasiswa sehingga mengakibatkan kurangnya pengetahuan mahasiswa terhadap SKK Ganto itu sendiri yang juga berdampak kepada jumlah pendaftar calon anggota baru yang setiap tahun terus menurun. Penulis bertujuan untuk merancang video motion graphic yang bersifat informatif, bermanfaat, dan menarik agar mahasiswa dapat memahami ganto dengan baik sehingga diharapka dapat meningkatkan jumlah calon pendaftar. Metode perancangan yang digunakan yaitu metode glass box dengan teknik analisis SWOT. Perancangan media promosi ini menerapkan konsep yang minimalis menggunakan flat animasi yang mudah dimengerti sehingga pesan dapat tersampaikan dengan baik. Media utama yang dirancang yaitu video motion graphic yang memuat informasi mengenai profil Ganto secara umum, juga disertai dengan media pendukung lainnya seperti poster, x-banner, t-shirt, topi, tote bag, dan stiker.Kata kunci: promosi, motion graphic, video, SKK Ganto, Jurnalistik

Abstract

Students do not understand the material of non-machine looms and the application of woven techniques found in basic textile craft courses, this is because lecturers only use learning media in the form of printing teaching materials and power points. This research aims to design an effective learning media in the form of interactive e-jobheet by using the adobe flash professional CS6 application. The method used in this design is the 4D Model model that is developed with stages, namely the Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemination stages. Data collection techniques with observation and literature study. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, which is used to describe the e-jobsheet design and the validity of the e-jobsheet in the ATBM material. The results obtained in this study show that the interactive e-jobsheet learning media by using the adobe flash professional CS6 application on the ATBM material in the fine arts education study program has several components, including two types of video tutorials consisting of explanations about ATBM material and its work process, material about ATBM, then there are practice questions that can be done by students, and also a list of references and people. The validation results obtained from the validator are the validation of the material obtained a number of 95%, design experts 90.3% and linguists 89.8% with very valid categories. E-jobsheet learning media is accessed by students offline using laptops. Keywords: e-jobsheet, Adobe Flash Player, ATBMAbstrakMahasiswa kurang memahami materi alat tenun bukan mesin dan pengaplikasian teknik tenunan yang terdapat pada mata kuliah kriya tekstil dasar, hal ini dikarenakan dosen hanya menggunakan media pembelajaran berupa bahan ajar cetak dan power point. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang media pembelajaran yang efektif berupa e-jobheet interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi adobe flash professional CS6. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini yaitu model Model 4D yang dikembangkan memiliki tahapan yaitu tahap Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), Develop (pengembangan), dan Dissemination (Penyebaran). Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif, yang digunakan untuk mendiskripsikan desain e-jobsheet dan validitas e-jobsheet pada materi ATBM. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu media pembelajaran e-jobsheet interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi adobe flash professional CS6 pada materi ATBM di program studi pendidikan seni rupa terdapat beberapa komponen, diantaranya dua jenis video tutorial yang terdiri dari penjelasan mengenai materi ATBM dan proses kerjanya, materi mengenai ATBM, kemudian terdapat latihan soal yang bisa dikerjakan oleh mahasiswa, dan juga daftar referensi serta narahubung. Hasil validasi yang diperoleh dari validator yaitu validasi materi memperoleh angka 95%, ahli desain 90,3% dan ahli bahasa 89,8% dengan kategori sangat valid. Abstract

Villa kayu putih one of the villa that locate at Jorong Galagah Alahan Panjang, Lembah Gumanti Sub District, Solok Regency. Villa Kayu Putih do not have a catalog yet as a promotion and information media, thus making the customer having a hard time to obtain the information about facilities and service of Villa Kayu Putih. So the author decided to designing promotional media that is informative, communicative, useful and interesting to market the products to be offered. The design method used is the glass box method with SWOT analysis techniques. This design uses a simple concept where this style will make the information to be conveyed look clear and simple so it is easy to understand. The main media designed is e-catalog which will provide information about Villa Kayu Putih's products, facilities and services, also accompanied by other supporting media such as printed catalogs, Instagram content, posters, x-banners, stickers, t-shirts, business cards , and key chains.

Abstract

Matematika sering dipandang sebagai mata pelajaran abstrak dan menantang, terutama dalam transisi dari aritmatika ke aljabar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana elemen desain visual dalam video pembelajaran digital berkontribusi pada pemahaman konseptual melalui pendekatan semiotika dengan kerangka analisis Ferdinand de Saussure. Penelitian ini mengkaji video Zenius Education berjudul “Perbedaan Aljabar dengan Aritmatika” sebagai artefak visual. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi digital dan dianalisis berdasarkan hubungan antara penanda (signifier), seperti ilustrasi, warna, tipografi, dan komposisi dan petanda (signified), yaitu makna konseptual matematika yang dikonstruksi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa elemen visual tidak bersifat dekoratif, melainkan berfungsi sebagai sistem tanda terstruktur: warna kuning melambangkan momen pencerahan kognitif, ungu merepresentasikan abstraksi aljabar, dan biru menggambarkan rasionalitas teknologis. Ilustrasi historis dan kontemporer digunakan sebagai metafora untuk membedakan aritmatika (konkret, repetitif) dan aljabar (simbolik, generalisasi). Desain visual ini selaras dengan prinsip multimedia learning dan teori representasi ganda, sehingga mengurangi beban kognitif sekaligus memperkuat koneksi antar register matematis. Simpulan penelitian menyatakan bahwa desain komunikasi visual dalam media pembelajaran digital berdasarkan landasan semiotik dan pedagogis, berpotensi menjadi mekanisme transformatif dalam menjadikan matematika lebih intuitif, bermakna, dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini berimplikasi penting bagi pengembangan media edukasi berbasis visual di era teknologi pendidikan.Kata kunci : Matematika, Video Zenius Education, Semiotika, Elemen Desain

Abstract

This research describes the initial study to develop e-modules based on student perceptions. This type of research is descriptive which was conducted in seven high schools in Padang based on school level with 667 students as respondents. Data were obtained using a questionnaire of student needs for teaching materials consisting of four indicators, namely student characteristics, implementation of physics learning, use of teaching materials in physics learning, and student needs for teaching materials. The results showed that as many as 67% of students experienced difficulties in physics subjects, supported by 53% of teachers who provided feedback at the end of each physics lesson and 45% of teaching materials used were less varied, in other words 80% of students needed other learning resources containing text, images and learning videos that were studied independently. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for the development of e-modules and efforts to improve the quality of physics learning in high school.

Abstract

This research aims to describe teachers’ needs for developing teaching materials. Concept understanding is important for students so that teaching materials are needed to improve students’ concept understanding. The type of research carried out is descriptive research with a quantitative and qualitative approaches. The data instruments are in the form of interview sheets and teacher needs analysis questionnaires. Questionnaires to find out the learning resources used by teachers, obstacles when learning physics, and learning resources needed by teachers to facilitate students. A total of nine physics teachers in high schools throughout the city of Padang were involved in this research. Based on the result data of analysis, it was found that 83% of teachers used printed teaching materials in learning. As many as 36% of teachers use teaching materials that they make themselves. As many as 86% of teachers have never used digital teaching materials, teachers are not sufficient as learning resources. As many as 83% supported the development of teaching materials on physics to improve students' understanding of concepts. It is hoped that the results of this research will become the basis for developing digital modules based on the POE model to improve understanding of concepts in kinematics.
