The implementation of international and national civil aviation must refer to applicable international and national legal norms to ensure the safety of passengers, flight crew, aircraft, and goods transported. To meet safety and security standards, each country must regulate flight security programs that refer to the regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Indonesia and the UK must meet these standards in dealing with perpetrators of air rage. Indonesia and the United Kingdom are the countries that participated in the ratification of the Convention on Offices and Certain Other Acts Committed on Board Aircraft, commonly called The Tokyo Convention 1963. Both countries have a legal obligation to implement the convention in their national law. A distinctive feature between Indonesia and the United Kingdom makes the implementation of the Tokyo Convention 1963 in that country different but still has the same goal of ensuring flight safety and security.

Space debris has become an increasingly pressing issue in space exploration and utilization. This article conducts a comprehensive review of aspects of international law relating to space debris mitigation efforts. This research analyzes existing legal frameworks, including relevant multilateral treaties and international legal principles related to the space environment. With a focus on the principles of shared responsibility and avoidance of damage to the space environment, the study identifies key challenges in managing space junk and reducing the risk of collisions in earth orbit. An in-depth analysis of the role of national space agencies and international organizations in implementing mitigation measures was also carried out. In the context of international cooperation, this article evaluates existing collaborative efforts and proposes new measures to improve the effectiveness of space debris mitigation. A better understanding of legal responsibility and burden-sharing in addressing these issues became a central point in the study. By analyzing recent developments in space law and international environmental regulations, this article provides insight into the direction the global community might take in addressing future space debris mitigation challenges. It is hoped that this research can provide guidance for policymakers, academics, and legal practitioners in their efforts to maintain a clean and sustainable space environment.

Space technology has rapidly evolved due to technological advancements, emphasizing the need for regulatory attention. This paper examines the regulation of sensitive space technology across ASEAN countries through a comparative analysis. Sensitive space technology, a high-stakes field crucial for conducting space activities, requires regulation due to the boundless nature of space. Typically, the regulation of space activities is established within international law, while specific national laws govern these activities in countries actively engaged in the space sector. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative methodology, utilizing literature reviews as the primary data source. This research aims to explore and compare the regulatory frameworks for sensitive space technology in ASEAN countries. This analysis could serve as a guide or benchmark for Indonesia as it develops national regulations on sensitive space technology. The findings reveal that Indonesia has enacted a Space Act dedicated to the space sector. Malaysia similarly regulates its space activities through a Space Act and accompanying Space Regulations. While lacking a specific law for sensitive space technology, Singapore manages these activities under existing legislative frameworks.
