Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji toksisitas dan potensi repelen dari ekstrak kasar lengkuas (Languas galangal L.), beluntas (Pluchea indica L.), dan sirsak (Annona muricata L.) sebagai insektisida botani kumbang kacang hijau (Callosobruchus chinensis L.) (Coleoptera : Bruchidae). Nilai LC 50 ekstrak lengkuas selama 24, 48 dan 72 jam terhadap kumbang kacang hijau berturut-turut, yaitu 1,60,1,35, dan 0,48 %. Nilai LC 50 ekstrak beluntas selama 24, 48 dan 72 jam, yaitu 1,46, 1,67, and 0,73 %. Nilai LC 50 ekstrak sirsak selama 24 dan 48 jam, yaitu 0,98 dan 0,42%. Fumigasi ekstrak lengkuas, beluntas dan sirsak selama 24, 48, 72 dan 96 jam berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap mortalitas kumbang kacang hijau dibandingkan control (0%). Jadi ekstrak lengkuas dan sirsak berpengaruh terhadap kumbang kacang hijau dapat meningkatkan nilai indeks repelen. Namun pengaruh ekstrak beluntas terdapat kumbang kacang jihau menunjukan nilai indeks repelen menurun, artinya ekstrak beluntas memiliki sifat sebagai atraktan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh tanaman mempunyai potensi sebagai insektisida botani.Kata kunci : Insektisida botani, indeks repelen dan Callosobruchus chinensis L.

Abstract

Pembelajaran dan evaluasi hampir tidak berbeda sama sekali karena pembelajaran daring di masa covid yang dilakukan oleh para guru tidak lebih dari kumpulan penugasan-penugasan. Padahal evaluasi pembelajaran dilakukan dalam empat standar yaitu standar konten, standar desain pembelajaran, standar assesmen dan standar teknologi. Karena itu pertanyaan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah pelatihan strategi assesmen pada pembelajaran daring dapat membuat guru-guru mampu membuat assesmen pembelajaran daring di SMA Srijaya Negara

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the species of soil ants in the residential area. The sampling method is hand collecting and baited trap (tuna and honey). There are 8 species found: Acanthomyrmex sp., Solenopsis germinata, Monomorium pharaonis, Pheidole megacephala, Paratrechina longicornis. Tapinoma melanocephalum, Camponotus ligniperda, Diacamma intricatum. The most numerous species, namely Pheidole megacephala and the least species, namely Diacamma intricatum. Ant species diversity tends to increase, as human activity decreases

Abstract

This study was aimed to analysis abundance and species diversity of predatory insects and parasitoid of Aphis gossypii from lowland and highland areas of South Sumatra. Survey of was conducted in 11 vegetable centers of South Sumatra. The results showed that 20 species of predatory insects and 3 species of parasitoids were found from the survey. The predatory insects consisted of 15 species of coccinellid beetles, two species of syrphids, and one species of chamaemyiid, mantid and staphylinid. Parasitoid found were 2 species of Aphidiidae (Diaretiella rapae and Aphidius sp.) and a species of Aphelinidae (Aphelinus sp.). The highest abundance of the predator was found in Soak (42.61 larvae and adults) and the highest abundance of the parasitoid was found in Talang Buruk (25.99 adults). The highest species diversity of the predator and the parasitoid were found in Soak (15 species and H’= 0.94) and in Talang Buruk (2 species and H’ = 0.27), respectively. Abundance and species diversity of the predators and parasitoids were higher in the dry season than those in rainy season. Thus, the abundance and species diversity of the predators and parasiotids were higher in the lowland than highland areas in South Sumatra, while the seasons affected the abundance and species diversity of the predators and parasitoids.

Abstract

Lebak swamp in Bukit Baru has been lost largely degraded and lost through reclamation activity. Lebak swamp plays important role as land resource in Bukit Baru, Palembang. The study was sonducted to study the composition of Odonata in lebak swamps in Bukit Baru, Palembang, Indonesia. The transect line (1 km) was used to collect odonata in the study area. This study recorded 8 species during the study period. 8 species were found at Site A1, 6 species at site A2, 3 species at site A3, and 6 species at site A4. The highest diversity of odonata was found in site A1, however the other sites have lower odonata diversity. The highest abundance of odonata was recorded at site A2 and A4 and dominated by Ceriagrion coromandelianum and Orthetrum sabina. Neurothemis ramburii had the lowest abund  ance at site A1 and A2, but absent at site A3 and A4. The occurrence of odonate species are lower at site around anthropogenic activity suggests the need to protect the lebak swamp so that such uncommon species will not go into local extinction. Neurothemis ramburii can become potential species to evaluate the rate of disturbed environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) of Eleventh-grade students on motion system material in SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara. The research method used was Quasi-Experimental with the research design of Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The sampling method used was Saturated Sampling Techniques. The instruments of data collection are HOTS test questions in the form of multiple choices with five answer choices in twenty-five questions. Observation instrument of learning implementation used Checklist with twelve observation items. The response instruments of students use questionnaires with a Likert scale. HOTS data were tested using the Mann-Whitney test, and then the learning implementation data and students’ response data were analyzed descriptively. This data processing uses SPSS twenty-three. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the sig value is 0.00 (sig <0.05), which shows an effect studied was significant. The implementation of learning has Good Category, while the response of students has very good and good categories of the two types of the response of students measured. Based on the hypothesis test results can be concluded that the PBL’s model can significantly influence higher-order thinking skills of Eleventh-grade students on motion system material in SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara.

Abstract

Research on the use of celery extract (Apium graveolens L.) was carried out to determine its effect on the effect of sedation on mice (Mus musculus L.). The research method used is an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 6 replications with the Traction Test method. The Traction Test method is done to see the decrease in work / muscle power of the test animal. This study consisted of a control treatment (distilled water) and celery extract treatment with a dose of 1 mg / 10gBB; 2 mg / 10gBB; and 4 mg / 10gBB. Data were analyzed using variance calculation and Duncan Real Distance Difference Test (BJND). The results of the analysis of variance showed that the celery extract dose of 2 mg / 10gBB was the most effective dose in effecting sedation in mice. Information on the results of this study can be an alternative example of learning material and the contribution of teaching materials in learning Biology Class XI Semester II on Basic Competencies 3.10 Analyze the relationship between the structure of the compiler organ network in the coordination system and link it to the coordination process so that it can explain the role of nerves and hormones in the coordination mechanism and regulation and functional disturbances that may occur in human coordination systems through literature studies, observations, experiments, and simulations. Key word : Apium graveolens L., Sedation, Traction test.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effects of the implementation of Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning method on motivation and learning achievement of kingdom animalia topic in class X of SMA Unggul Negeri 8 Palembang. This research uses Quasi Eksperimental research methodology with Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The test data collection of learning motivation and learning achievement skill is done on X IPA 4 as the experimental class and X IPA 6 as the control class. The sample collection technique is random sampling. The acquired t value analysis of motivation data using SPSS of 9,590 > t tabel of 2,000. The acquired t value analysis of learning achievement data using SPSS of 9,634 > t tabel of 2,000. The average score of motivation of experimental class is 80,39, while the control class is 67,24. The average value of students learning achievement in the experimental group was higher than the control group. This was proven by the average value of the test learning achievement  acquired in the experimental group amounted to 80,44, while the control group was 60,42, so HO is rejected, which means that there were significat implementation of Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning method on motivation and learning achievement of kingdom animalia topic in class X of SMA Unggul Negeri 8 Palembang. Keywords : Team Games Tournament (TGT) Model, Motivation, Learning Achievement, Kingdom Animalia.

Abstract

Penulisan makalah ini bertujuan untuk menambah informasi tentang deskripsi morfologi serangga-serangga predator yang memangsa Aphis gossypii (Glover) (Hemiptera: Aphididae). 1) Kumbang coccinellid. Imago coccinellid berukuran antara 0,25-1,5 cm, bentuk seperti diskus, oval sampai bulat dan dorsal cembung. Pada permukaan dorsal tubuh berwarna cerah kuning, oranye, kemerahan dengan bercak-bercak hitam, sedangkan permukaan ventral rata. Telur kumbang coccinellid berwarna kuning-oranye diletakkan mengelompok. Larva kumbang coccinellid berbentuk panjang, pipih dan sebagai predator. Pupa kumbang coccinellid melekat pada jaringan tumbuhan. Contoh spesies kumbang coccinelid adalah C. sexmaculata (Fabricius), Coccinella repanda (Thunberg), Chilocorus melanophthalmus (Mulsant), C. ruber (Weise), C. arcuata (Fabricius) dan Curinus coeruleus (Mulsant). 2) Larva Cryptolaemus sp. Larva Cryptolaemus sp. mirip alligator, panjang mencapai 1,3 cm dan tubuh ditutupi oleh rambut-rambut putih berlilin. Pupa terbungkus kokon dalam batang.  Telur C. montrouzieri berwarna kuning. 3) Kumbang kalajengking (Philonthus sp.). Philonthus sp. atau kumbang kalajengking mempunyai elitra pendek atau setengah abdomen. Tubuh langsing, memanjang, aktif, lari atau terbang dengan cepat.  Pada saat berlari mengangkat abdomen seperti yang dilakukan kalajengking. Kumbang kalajengking mempunyai mandibula sangat panjang, langsing, tajam dan berwarna coklat atau hitam. 4) Lalat syrphid. Tubuh larva lalat syrphid mirip peluru gotri, hijau pucat sampai kuning, panjang 10-15 mm, ada titik coklat dan tidak ada kepala atau tungkai. Pupa lalat syrphid membentuk puparium mengeras dan diapause.  Imago lalat syrphid memiliki beragam ukuran, warna dan bentuk atau menyerupai lebah. 5) Mantis sp. Mantis sp. memiliki mata majemuk berkembang baik, kepala segitiga, sayap depan menebal disebut tegmina, sayap belakang berbentuk membrane. Tungkai depan untuk menangkap mangsa atau raptorial dengan femur dan tibia berduri serta protoraks memanjang. 6) Lalat Chamaemyiidae. Imago Chamaemyiid adalah lalat berukuran kecil berwarna keabu-abuan dan mempunyai bintik hitam pada abdomen.  Kata Kunci: Morfologi, Serangga Predator, Musuh Alami dan Aphis gossypii (Glover)

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the types of dung beetles that live in the Bukit Mangkol conservation forest area, Bangka Islands have done. This research uses a descriptive method. Data retrieval is done using the Baited Pitfall Trap technique using bait in the form of cow feces and hand collecting. Data collection is carried out at several elevation points based on the type of vegetation (100, 200, 300 and 400 masl). The results of this study found 76 individual dung beetles consisting of eight species, two genera, two tribus and two subfamilies. Dung beetles found include Onthophagus gazella, Onthophagus productus, Polyphemi Onthophagus, Onthophagus sp. 1, Onthophagus sp. 2, Onthophagus sp. 3, Onthophagus sp. 4 and Serica sp. 1. The results of the analysis of the characteristics of dung beetle communities in the Bukit Mangkol conservation forest area were based on the community diversity index of 1.93, the species richness index was 1.62 and the evenness index was 0.93. Based on the results of the analysis, the diversity of dung beetle communities in the Bukit Mangkol conservation forest area is moderate, with a low species richness of dung beetles and evenly distributed species without the dominance of one type of dung beetle. The results of this study are expected to provide additional information on the types of dung beetles and as biology enrichment material for class X senior high school in Basic Competence 3.2 Analyzing various levels of biodiversity in Indonesia along with their threats and preservation.Keywords: Dung beetle, Scarabaeidae and Cow Fece ABSTRAKPenelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis kumbang tinja yang hidup di kawasan hutan konservasi Bukit Mangkol Kepulauan Bangka telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan data digunakan teknik Baited Pitfall Trap menggunakan umpan berupa tinja sapi serta hand collecting. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada beberapa titik ketinggian berdasarkan jenis vegetasinya (100, 200, 300 dan 400 mdpl). Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan 76 individu kumbang tinja yang terdiri dari delapan spesies, dua genus, dua tribus dan dua subfamili. Jenis kumbang tinja yang ditemukan antara lain Onthophagus gazella, Onthophagus productus, Onthophagus polyphemi, Onthophagus sp.1, Onthophagus sp.2, Onthophagus sp.3, Onthophagus sp.4 dan Serica sp.1. Hasil analisis karakteristik komunitas sebagai berikut: nilai indeks keanekaragaman komunitas sebesar 1,93, indeks kekayaan jenis sebesar 1,62 dan indeks kemerataan jenis 0,93. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, maka keanekaragaman komunitas kumbang tinja di Kawasan Hutan Konservasi Bukit Mangkol tergolong sedang, dengan kekayaan jenis kumbang tinja yang rendah dan kemerataan jenis yang merata tanpa ada dominansi salah satu jenis kumbang tinja. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi tambahan mengenai jenis kumbang tinja dan sebagai materi pengayaan Biologi SMA Kelas X pada Kompetensi Dasar 3.2 Menganalisis berbagai tingkat keanekaragaman hayati di Indonesia beserta ancaman dan pelestariannya.Kata kunci: Kumbang tinja, Scarabaeidae dan Tinja Sapi
