Abstract

Evaluation is an integral part of the curriculum component. Evaluation of language learning in general can provide an overview of student learning outcomes that have been done. The need for evaluation of Multiple Intelligences class-based learning evaluation techniques in order to expand the evaluation holistically according to the provisions of globalization. This study aims to analyze evaluation techniques based on Multiple Intelligences class at SD Plus Al-Kautsar Malang. This research using a qualitative approach through case study methods with data techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. This research shows evaluation techniques that can be developed in multiple intelligence classroom through several various techniques; portofolio services, personal expenses, projects. The research findings show that authority in authentic evaluation based on Multiple Intelligence classroom management can provide a concrete picture of students from the language skills system.

Abstract

In the modern era at this time information technology has experienced very rapid development, especially in the world of education, the use and use of the internet in education continues to grow. E-learning is a form of learning that utilizes electronic devices, whether using internet access or not. In the world of education, the use of internet access has been widely used for the use of applications/systems as learning media. Thus, the purpose of this study is as follows to determine the benefits of e-learning learning media using WhatsApp in the learning process in universities amid the spread of COVID-19. The method used in this research is qualitative research, which is a type of research that produces findings that cannot be achieved using statistical procedures or other quantitative methods. The subject of this research is the second semester students of the curriculum subject of the Indonesian language education study program as many as 39 resource persons using observation and interview data collection techniques. The results of this study are e-learning learning media using whatsapp is very useful to improve the learning process for students, especially during the pandemic, Not only that, the use of WhatsApp is also to complete the means of sending assignments from lecturers to students because from the aspect of time it is very efficient, it doesn't take too long for lecture assignments to be sent easily and immediately received by the lecturer concerned. Future suggestions are expected as users to be smarter in placing WhatsApp usage so they don't use and take advantage of technological sophistication for things that are less useful.

Abstract

This study aims to develop innovative teaching materials for Balaghah and Ilmu Badi' using Syawahid Adabiyah to enhance literary appreciation among students in the Arabic Language Education Program at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. The term "Syawahid Adabiyah" refers to examples from literary texts that serve as a foundation for understanding the beauty and intricacies of language, making it a valuable resource for students. This study formulates two main research questions: 1) What are the steps for developing and assessing the feasibility of Ilmu Badi's teaching materials? 2) What is the effectiveness of these developed materials in improving students' literary appreciation? To address these questions, the research employs the Research and Development (R&D) model by Borg and Gall, focusing on contextual and varied teaching materials that integrate literary examples as learning media. The results are expected to demonstrate that the developed materials are viable and significantly enhance students' interest and skills in analyzing and creating beautiful literary works. This study contributes positively to the broader field of Arabic language education in Indonesia by providing a comprehensive approach that combines theory and practice.

Abstract

Background: This study was motivated by the low understanding of students' Arabic vocabulary at MTsN 17 Tanah Datar. Purpose: This research aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning with the make a match strategy on students' vocabulary understanding at MTsN 17 Tanah Datar. Method: The research methodology uses a quantitative experimental approach with a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were all students in class eighth at MTsN 17 Tanah Datar. Researchers used Total Sampling techniques in taking samples. The researcher chose class 8.A with a total of 21 students as the experimental group and class 8.B with a total of 20 students as the control group. The instrument for vocabulary learning results is in the form of test questions that have been validated by the validator. Results and Discussion: The Wilcoxon test results were obtained by Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed)=<0.001. This means Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed)=0.001 is smaller than 0.05 )0.001<0.05) and means that H1 is accepted. Conclusions and Implications: Based on the results of the test wilcoxon,the researcher concluded in this study that there is effectiveness of cooperative learning with the make a match strategy on vocabulary understanding at MTsN 17 Tanah Datar.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the use of cooperative learning strategies to enhance speaking skills in an Islamic school. The research uses a qualitative approach and case study method, data is collected through interviews, observation, and documents. The participants are the head of the institute, teachers, and students. The objectives are to understand the planning, demonstrate the implementation and evaluate the effectiveness of the cooperative learning strategies used. The study found that the planning of the cooperative learning strategies to improve speaking skills included preparing teachers, dividing students into small groups of mixed abilities, and implementing daily activities, group discussions and dialogue practices. The evaluation found that the strategies were effective, resulting in improved speaking skills and increased social skills for the students, particularly for female students who emphasized vocabulary memorization and served as cooperative learning models.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the implementation of Arabic language learning based on multiple intelligences at Al-Kautsar Elementary School Malang which includes initial activities, core activities, and final activities. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods through case studies with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. This study shows that the implementation of learning Arabic based on multiple intelligences at SD Al-Kautsar Malang can be developed according to the intelligence clusters of students in the classroom, starting from initial activities, core activities, and final activities. The research findings show that the implementation of Multiple Intelligence-based Arabic learning can provide an overview of the achievement and diversity of activities carried out by teachers and students in the classroom.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to discuss the teaching strategy of Arabic. Teaching strategy is an important component in teaching languages, including Arabic. The suitable strategy in teaching Arabic is based on the material and the condition of the students. Enjoyable or not the process of teaching and learning Arabic would determine the result expected of the teaching itself. If the beginning of the process of teaching and learning has already implemented an active and joyful strategy, the students will be interested in the process of learning Arabic. Arabic learning is focusing on creating various conditions in which it enables the students to utilize their time to study. The teacher in the concept of learning will no longer as the main source who transfers knowledge to the students. Active learners place the teacher as a facilitator who creates a conducive class to make the process of teaching and learning be better. It is similar to the phoneme learning of phoneme and vocabulary. Phonology is a way to pronounce Arab letters fluently and accurately whether they are pronounced separately as the letter itself or after it is combined and based on the need. It is also the same as vocabulary. It is one of language components that foreign language learners must-have. It is included in Arabic.

Abstract

Pesantren is a traditional educational institution in which students live and study together under the teachers’ guide, called Kiai, and have dormitory. It is a respective institution, especially Muslim society. At the same time, however, pesantren is not rare considered as an institution that blocks Islam's progress. This article discusses the role and prospect of pesantren. Starting from the beginning of its birth, in traditional society to model of pesantren the advancement of information technology. Pesantren has flourished long before the formal educational institution established in Indonesia. Thus, it has a great contribution to the development trend of modern society is certainly not easy for pesantren. Inside, it is an institution for the strengthening of religious and moral issues but on the other hand, it must be able to adapt in accordance with the development of modern society. For these challenges, pesantren can revitalize its role and prospect as educational institutions and community empowerment center.
