Abstract

Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a comprehensive and coherent framework to translate the vision and mission of a company into a unified set of performance measures. PT. Arjuna Yoga Sakti is one company which produces cosmetics in the form of pharmaceutical preparations of herbal ingredients. The aim of this research is to identify the performance of PT. Arjuna Yoga Sakti through the BSC performance measurement, using the four perspectives namely financial, customer, internal business processes, as well as the learning and growth. This research is a descriptive research according to the level of explanation of its qualitative and quantitative data. Ten indicators are measured based on the four perspectives of BSC, which are the research variables. Eight indicators examined through in-depth interviews with stakeholders in this case the company owner. Two other indicators, i.e. customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction, examined using a questionnaire with research subjects were 100 customers that are sampled by purposive sampling, and using all employees of the company (saturated sampling). The questionnaire previously tested its validity and reliability using item analysis and Cronbach Alpha in SPSS for Windows version 12th. The result of performance measurement of PT. Arjuna Yoga Sakti using the four BSC perspectives is pretty good. Productivity per employee per month which is pretty high (8.84 million/month) and job satisfaction of employees is pretty good (Likert scoring 3.61) supports the production of cosmetic products both in sufficient time to be able to satisfy the customer (Likert scoring 4.15) and also encourage the growing number of customers (customer growth 20%). This gives a pretty good profit (ROI 36%, ROE 45%; Total Assets Turnover rate 1.4 times) for the company to continue to improve its performance is supported by adequate information systems. Key word: PT. Abstract

The Pharmacy Department of Health Directorate of Army Force (Lafi Ditkesad) always continually improved in some aspects, not only focus on product quality yielded, but also on production cost management. Therefore, Lafi Ditkesad should always allocate its production factors suitably and effectively to avoid production factor waste that would harm Lafi Ditkesad. This research was aimed to know work force and machinery production costs towards production output of Floxad caplet and Lafidril syrup medicines in Lafi Ditkesad and to know the effectiveness of input use level in Lafi Ditkesad. Data collection technique was based on a documentation study from Lafi Ditkesad. This was a descriptive quantitative research and an explanatory research supported by a survey method. Analysis of the data was conducted with multiple linear regression analysis modified from a Cobb-Douglas production function model with an SPSS software. A independent variable effect towards a dependent variable was conducted by an F-test and t-test with α = 0.05. The result showed that work force (probability = 0.03) and machinery (probability = 0.00) production factors significantly affected production of Lafidril syrup medicine. Meanwhile, in Floxad caplet production, work force production factor (probability = 0.00) significantly affected the production output, but the machinery production factor (probability = 0.09) did not significantly affect production output. Floxad caplet production effectiveness was better than Lafidril syrup production process. This could be viewed from an effectiveness index from each production function where an effectiveness index of Floxad caplet medicine production was 57641.61, while Lafidril syrup was 4755.23.Keywords: Cobb-Douglas, effectiveness, work force, machine

Abstract

One indicator of the success of individual health care is patient satisfaction. Customer satisfaction was defined as a response to evaluate the expectations of service prior to the actual performance perceived. The aimed of this study were to know the quality of outpatient satisfaction and to know the gap on outpatient satisfaction to the quality of based on servqual dimensions, that is tangible, empathy, assurance, responsiveness andreliability in study. The method of this study was a non experimental descriptive through observation of patient satisfaction. Data were collected with concurrent in sampling technique respondens. Data were collected with a questionnaire in November 2011. Data were analized with instrument using Product Moment Persons corelation, continued with calculation of  servqual score gap betwen performance and expectation. The results showed that the perceived service was not achieve the desired expectations of patients. Largest gap value is showed on the dimension of empathy with a value of -0.27. Meanwhile, the gap value on tangible, assurance,  reliability, and responsiveness dimension were -0.25,  -0.17,  -0.16, -0.15 respectively.Keywords: Service quality, satisfaction, gap, on an out patient basis have not beenable to satisfy

Abstract

To attract consumer a company should make creative advertisement. One of them is conducted through the useof serial-drama-based advertisement as implemented in the Ponds’ cosmetics product advertisement. This researchaimed to identify whether consumer perception on the serial advertisements of Ponds’ cosmetic products providedsignificant influences on consumer attitude and purchase intention, and to compare consumer perception on theconsumer attitude towards serial advertising and consumer perception on the consumer attitude toward non serial advertising. In this research, the effects of consumer perception on the consumer attitude and consumer purchaseintention towards Ponds’ cosmetics products were measured.This was an experimental research with participants divided into 2 groups, namely, participant group treated with serial advertisement, and participant group treated with non serial-advertisement. Research instruments involved advertisement video samples of Ponds’ cosmetics and research questionnaires. Total samples were 60 persons in eachgroup of serial advertisement and non serial-advertisement. Data obtained were analyzed using simple regressionand significance test through the use of SPSS 17 for Windows. Based on the regression analysis, it was showed that the significant effects of consumer perception on the consumer attitude toward serial advertisement on t-test 8,205, the significant effects of consumer perception on serialadvertisement towards consumer purchasing intention on t-test 8,797, and the significant effects of consumer attitudeon the serial advertisement toward consumer purchasing intention on t-test 6,274. After comparison between theeffects of consumer perception on consumer attitude towards serial advertisement, and the effects of the effects ofconsumer perception on the consumer attitude on non-serial advertisement using t-test it was indicated that theeffects of consumer perception on the consumer attitude toward serial advertisement was higher than the consumer perception towards the consumer attitude on non-serial advertisement. Keywords: advertisement, serial-advertisement, consumer perception, consumer attitude, consumer purchaseintention, t-test.

Abstract

Performance  illustrates the achievement level of an activity, program or policy that is implemented in order to realize the goals, objectives, mission and vision of the organization as stated in the formulation of organization’s strategy. High performance is a necessity for an organization to be sustainable. The objective of this research was to determine the influence of organizational design, leadership style and work climate toward employee performance in PT. Kimia Farma Apotek Yogyakarta. The design of this study was cross sectional and analytical observation. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire. The samples were selected by census method. The number of population available as respondents was 160 people, but only 121 of them completed the questionnaire. The result of multiple linier regression analysis showed that there was a positive and significant impact between organizational design, leadership style, work climate and employee’s performance (the calculated F value (14.342) > F table (2.68) and p = 0.000) with the effective contribution of 26.9%. This mean that the organizational design, leadership style, and work climate influence the employee’s performance. Partially, based on the results of the t-test analysis, the design of the organization had a positive and significant impact on employee’s performance (value (2.057) > t table (1.658) and p = 0.042) with the effective contribution of 8.2%. This means that the more effective the organizational design, the higher the employee’s performance. Furthermore, the results of the t-test analysis showed that leadership style had a positive and significant impact on employee’s performance (t count value (2.354) > t table (1.658) and p = 0.020) with the effective contribution of 6.1%. It means that the more effective leadership style, the higher the employee’s performance. The results of the t-test analysis showed that work climate had a positive and significant impact on employee’s performance (t count value (4.782) > t table (1.658) and p = 0.000) with the effective contribution of 19.9%. This means that the more favorable work climate, the higher the work performance of employees.Keywords: The organizational Design, Leadership Style, Work Climate, Employee’s Performance.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is one type of cancer with a high prevalence in women. Quality of life of someone with cervical cancer will decrease. Quality of life can also decrease because of chemotherapy regimens. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of cisplatin-vincristine-bleomycin and carboplatin-paclitaxel regimens on the quality of life of patients. Through this research how the difference in quality of life of patients with cervical cancer before and after chemotherapy could be known. Additionally, the  differences impact on the quality of life of the two regimens also were observed.  The study was conducted by using cross sectional design in hospitalization patients. Data were taken prospectively by conducting field observations. Measuring the quality of life was done using the EORTC QLQ-C30 questionnaire. Differences of domain values before and after chemotherapy in each regimen were analyzed by paired t-test (p <0.05). Quality of life difference between two regimens were analyzed by unpaired t test (p<0.05). The results showed that there was an increasing trend of the value of the functional domain, impairment of symptoms domain and an increase in the value of global health status domain after three cycles of chemotherapy of two regimens, except the symptoms of nausea and vomiting and loss of appetite that showed an increasing trend. Patients who received cisplatin-vincristine-bleomycin regimen showed a significant increasing (p = 0.009) in decreased of appetite symptom’s scores. No significant differences in the quality of life of patients who delivered chemotherapy regimen of cisplatin-vincristine-bleomycin compared to carboplatin-paclitaxel regimen.

Abstract

Pengukuran kinerja dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan Balanced Scorecard (BSC). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kinerja Farmasi Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Yogyakarta ditinjau melalui empat perspektif yaitu learning and growth, proses bisnis internal, customer dan keuangan Pada penelitian ini dirancang dengan studi kasus yang bersifat deskriptif evaluatif data yang dikumpulkan berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kualitatif berupa hasil wawancara mendalam dengan Kepala Instalasi Farmasi sedangkan data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui observasi, kuesioner, laporan administrasi, laporan keuangan RSUD Kota Yogyakarta dan laporan keuangan Instalasi Farmasi. Data dianalisis secara diskriptif yang dibandingkan dengan standar dari masing-masing indikator yang ada. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan kinerja pada perspektif keuangan 3 tahun terakhir rata-rata kontribusi IFRS ke RS 42,67% dan ITOR 7,4 kali. Dari perspektif konsumen, kepuasan konsumen 3,13 (puas), dan keterjaringan pasien 89,42%. Dari proses bisnis internal: ketersediaan obat 95,42%, pelayanan informasi obat masih belum memenuhi standar Kepmenkes no. 1197/menkes/SK/2004, dispensing time untuk racikan 31,55 menit dan non racikan 11,34 menit. Dari perspektif pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan: semangat kerja tinggi dan produktifitas sangat tinggi. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kinerja IFRSUD Kota Yogyakarta dengan pendekatan BSC menunjukkan kinerja yang sudah baik, walaupun masih perlu upaya perbaikan khususnya dalam dispensing time, pengendalian persediaan obat dan pelayanan informasi obat.

Abstract

Metode pengujian disolusi dan kondisi selama pengujian pada modified release dosage form perlu disesuaikan dengan sifat fisikakimia obat dan jenis sediaan. Disolusi obat dari bentuk sediaan dikontrol oleh sifat fisika kimia obat, bentuk sediaan, tipe alat, dan medium disolusi yang digunakan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh medium disolusi pada profil disolusi dan kinetika pelepasan sediaan floating tablet gastroretentive ranitidin HCl. Alat disolusi yang digunakan tipe 2 USP. Medium disolusi yang digunakan 2 macam yaitu HCL 0,1 N dan Simulated Gastric Fluid (SGF) tanpa pepsin. Temperatur uji 37oC ± 0,5oC, dan kecepatan pengadukan 75 rpm. Sampling dilakukan selama 6 jam, dan diukur absorbansinya dengan spektrofotometer UV pada λ 313,4 nm. Untuk membandingkan profil disolusi dari ke dua medium, digunakan parameter similarity factor (f2) dan difference factor (f1). Data disolusi juga dianalisis dengan menggunakan beberapa parameter kinetika pelepasan, antara lain, zero order, first order, Higuchi release, Hixson-Crowell cube root, dan Korsmeyer Peppas untuk menentukan orde kinetika pelepasannya. Dari hasil uji disolusi diketahui bahwa perbedaan medium disolusi yang digunakan tidak mempengaruhi profil disolusi ranitidin HCl dari tablet gastroretentive (nilai f2 lebih dari 50 % dan nilai f1 kurang dari 15). Perbedaan medium disolusi juga tidak mempengaruhi kinetika dan mekanisme pelepasan.

Abstract

Standar pelayanan kefarmasian yang digunakan di Puskesmas yaitu Permenkes Nomor 74 Tahun 2016. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pelayanan kefarmasian Puskesmas di Kota Semarang, mengetahui perbedaan peran SDM farmasi, ketersediaan anggaran dan tipe puskesmas, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelayanan kefarmasian Puskesmas di Kota Semarang serta merumuskan solusi mengatasi permasalahan dalam pelayanan kefarmasian.Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan observasional deskriptif kuantitatif melalui pendekatan cross sectional pada 36 Puskesmas di Kota Semarang. Periode pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Oktober s/d Desember 2018 dengan cara observasi langsung dan wawancara terhadap penanggungjawab unit pelayanan farmasi. Analisa statistik menggunakan Uji Independent Sample T-Test. Selanjutnya dilakukan identifikasi faktor pendukung, penghambat dan perumusan solusi menggunakan Basic Priority Rating Scale.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Secara umum pelayanan kefarmasian Puskesmas di Kota Semarang dapat dikategorikan sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 83,56 ± 6,24. Seluruh Puskesmas Kota Semarang sudah melakukan kegiatan pengelolaan sediaan farmasi dan BMHP (Aspek manajerial) dengan nilai rata-rata 64,64 ± 4,409. Pelayanan farmasi klinik sudah dilakukan oleh apoteker dan tenaga teknis kefarmasian walaupun belum sepenuhnya dengan nilai rata-rata 18,92 ± 2,419. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan untuk peran SDM farmasi dan tipe Puskesmas dalam pelayanan kefarmasian Puskesmas di Kota Semarang dengan  (p: 0,000) Dukungan Kepala Puskesmas dan koordinasi yang baik merupakan faktor pendukung. Faktor-faktor yang menghambat adalah apoteker belum tersedia di semua Puskesmas,  kurangnya pelatihan untuk tenaga farmasi dalam pelayanan farmasi klinik, sarana dan prasarana serta kelengkapan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP). Solusi dengan perbaikan sarana dan prasarana, membuat SOP pelayanan farmasi klinik, usulan anggaran untuk penambahan apoteker, pembinaan, monitoring dan evaluasi pelayanan farmasi klinik.

Abstract

Puskesmas sebagai fasiltas kesehatan tingkat pertama dituntut untuk selalu meningkatkan mutu pelayanan dan keselamatan pasien. Akreditasi menjadi sebuah metode dalam meningkatkan pemerataan dan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan di puskesmas. Diperlukan adanya evaluasi penerapan standar akreditasi pelayanan kesehatan di puskesmas untuk menilai efektivitas akreditasi puskesmas, salah satunya dengan survei kepuasan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan harapan dan kenyataan terhadap mutu pelayanan kefarmasian di puskesmas terakreditasi dan mengetahui perbedaan skor gap kepuasan pasien terhadap mutu pelayanan kefarmasian. Penelitian deskriptif analitik ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Subyek penelitian adalah pasien di puskesmas yang pelayanan kefarmasiannya diselenggarakan oleh tenaga kefarmasian menggunakan metode non-probability sampling berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang disusun berdasarkan teknik ServQual model. Dimensi responsiveness menduduki peringkat teratas gap kepuasan puskesmas terakreditasi. Dari kelima dimensi, kesemuanya berbeda signifikan antara skor harapan dan kenyataan dengan probabilitas 0,000 (p<0,05) kecuali aspek emphaty. Uji beda gap kepuasan pasien puskesmas terakreditasi dan puskesmas tidak terakreditasi menghasilkan perbedaan yang nyata antara keduanya, probabilitas = 0,000 (p<0,05). Terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara rendahnya kinerja pelayanan kefarmasian dengan tingginya harapan pasien puskesmas terakreditasi, namun  di sisi lain bahwa status akreditasi berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien puskesmas terakreditasi.
