Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of economic welfare of smallholder rubber farmers in Bati-bati District using Farmer Household Income Exchange Rate (NTPRP) analysis and analyze the factors that affect the level of economic welfare of smallholder rubber farmers consisting of land area, production amount, and price rubber either partially or simultaneously using multiple linear regression analysis. This research is descriptive, quantitative, and inferential. The location of the research was carried out in several villages in Bati-bati District with 40 farmers as respondents where the sampling used purposive sampling technique. The results showed that smallholder rubber farmers in the study area were classified as not prosperous where the results of the calculation of the Farmer's Household Income Exchange Rate < 1,00 (0.99 < 1,00). The land area, production amount, and rubber price either partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the Farmer's Household Income Exchange Rate (NTPRP) or the welfare level of smallholder rubber farmers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between gender inequality and GDP development in several fields, such as health, education, economics, and employment. A panel random effect regression model is used to analyze the data in order to achieve this.This study found that economic growth in South Kalimantan is negatively and significantly affected by gender inequality in education, as indicated by the average ratio of school time. According to the life expectancy ratio, the gender disparity in health has a small but favorable impact on economic growth in South Kalimantan. When the per capita expenditure ratio is used to examine economic disparities in South Kalimantan, a negative and significant effect becomes apparent. Gender imbalance in the workplace considerably retards South Kalimantan's economic growth, as seen by the ratio of women to males in the working force.

Abstract

Taxes received from hotel is one regional or local-own income sources. There was a positive trend and significant rise of this tax revenue during 2018-2022, despite it declined in 2020 due to lockdown and low rate of hotel occupancy. This research dissects and analyzes the contribution of this so-called hotel tax revenue in Banjarmasin city. This research uses quantitative data and quantitative descriptive method. It discovered that the realization and target of this tax revenue fluctuated during 2018-2022 and has a minor contribution to regional income. In general, during these five years, the hotel tax revenue contributed less than 10 percent to the regional or local-own income.

Abstract

Banjarmasin City has the potential for development of a tourist village on the riverbank. Development of tourism villages need a lot of budget with limited government budget, then prioritization is needed. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify criteria and alternative options for prioritizing the development of tourist villages on the riverbank in Banjarmasin City. The research respondents are 7 people considered experts and relevant to research, especially related to the research location, green villages, blue villages, and sasirangan villages by using data analysis AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). The results show the most dominant criteria to support the development of tourist villages on riverbanks in Banjarmasin City are attractiveness criteria with preference of 46.6%, facilities and infrastructure criteria 27.7%, accessibility criteria 16.1%, and tourism promotion criteria 9.6%. From the 3 (three) alternative in this research, the alternative of sasirangan village has the highest preference of 49.9%, green village 26.9% and blue village 23.2%. Therefore, the priority of tourism village development on the riverbank in Banjarmasin City is prioritised on sasirangan village.

Abstract

Ibu rumah tangga memegang peranan penting dalam mengelola keuangan keluarga, termasuk bagi para ibu yang tergabung dalam kelompok tani di Desa Hilir Mesjid, Kecamatan Anjir Pasar, Kabupaten Barito Kuala. Pendidikan mengenai pengelolaan keuangan keluarga sebagai upaya membangun kemandirian keluarga tani menjadi fokus dalam pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Tujuan dari pemberdayaan ibu rumah tangga adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan keahlian mereka dalam mengelola keuangan keluarga, sehingga dapat menjadi lebih produktif, efisien, dan efektif dalam mengatur keuangan rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pemberdayaan ini melibatkan pendekatan edukasi, penyuluhan, serta sosialisasi yang interaktif dan komunikatif. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan pemberdayaan ini menunjukkan bahwa ibu-ibu tersebut berperan secara aktif dalam kegiatan, melalui diskusi interaktif, dan berhasil memperoleh pengetahuan mengenai pengelolaan keuangan. Mereka menerapkan perencanaan keuangan dengan pencatatan dan pembukuan yang sederhana namun efisien dan efektif, sebagai langkah membangun keuangan yang sehat dalam konteks peran khusus ibu rumah tangga di rumah tangga kelompok tani tersebut. Abstract. Housewives play a crucial role in managing family finances, including those who are part of a farming community in Hilir Mesjid Village, Anjir Pasar District, Barito Kuala Regency. Education on family financial management as an effort to build the self-reliance of farming families is the focal point of community service. The goal of empowering housewives is to enhance their knowledge, skills, and expertise in managing family finances, enabling them to be more productive, efficient, and effective in household financial management. The methods employed in this empowerment initiative include educational approaches, counseling, as well as interactive and communicative socialization. The final outcome of this empowerment activity reveals that these housewives actively participate in the program through interactive discussions, successfully acquiring knowledge about financial management. They implement financial planning with simple yet efficient and effective record-keeping and bookkeeping, as a step toward building healthy finances in the specific role of housewives within the farming community households.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of digital technology in supporting businesses run by traders and analyze strategies that can be developed to increase the competitiveness of Wholesale Market traders in Banjarmasin City. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a survey approach ie do field research ( field research ) on wholesale market traders in the city of Banjarmasin. Informants selected in this study were the Head of the Department of Trade and Industry of the City of Banjarmasin, traders and business people at the Banjarmasin Wholesale Market. Research results explain part Most traders in the Sudimampir market have implemented digital business. Apart from that there is Online business can attract more consumers not only within the city but also outside the region as well promote online with flexible time and profitable for traders. Furthermore The use of social media as a means of promotion by merchants cannot be separated from the marketing strategy, namely advertising, marketing through e-commerce, and promotions price .
