Introduction: Analog rice is a functional food made from part or all of non-rice ingredients consumed like eating rice in general. One of the analog rice that is widely consumed is corn rice. Consumption of corn rice has become a culture of the people of Gorontalo. The aims of this study were to (1) determine the attributes that influence the purchase decision of corn analog rice in Gorontalo City and (2) analyze consumer attitudes towards the attributes of corn analog rice in Gorontalo City. Method: The research was conducted at the Gorontalo City Central Market, with a total sample of 65 respondents who were selected by accidental sampling. Data analysis used descriptive analysis by making a frequency distribution table to determine the attributes that influence the purchase decision of corn analog rice in Gorontalo City. Multiattribute Fishbein analysis was used to analyze consumer attitudes towards the attributes of corn analog rice. Result: The results showed that the rice analogue of corn that respondents liked was rice with small/fine grain, yellow in color, aromatic, free from dregs, and cheap. After being cooked into rice has a sweet rice taste and fluffier texture. The results of the Fishbein Multi-attribute analysis showed that the quality of rice was ranked first with a score of 20,10 points, followed by the color of the rice with a score of 18,49 points. Conclusion: Attributes that influence the purchase decision of corn analog rice in Gorontalo City include the shape of rice grains, the taste of corn rice, the texture of corn rice, color, aroma, quality, and price of rice. Fishbein's multi-attribute analysis shows that the attributes of quality and color of corn rice are the most important considerations in purchasing corn analog rice.

Corn is a leading commodity for farmers in Longalo Village, North Bulango District, Bone Regency, however, in encouraging increased agricultural productivity in Longalo Village, there are obstacles related to the limited amount of fertilizer available for agricultural cultivation activities in Longalo Village. On the other hand, agricultural activities in Longalo Village produce waste such as corn litter, rice straw, coconut shells, cocoa pod skins, these plant trimmings have the potential to be used as organic fertilizer, but most organic agricultural waste is burned or thrown away, which has an impact on the ecology and public health. Apart from that, there is no knowledge among farmer groups regarding technological innovations in efficient, effective and economical chopping machines that make it easier to speed up the process of processing organic waste into fertilizer using new, renewable energy, which has caused problems in Longalo Village to become more protracted, therefore the introduction of waste chopping machines Portable organic solar power on land is one way out to overcome the obstacles faced by corn farmers in Longalo Village, North Bulango District, Bone Bolango Regency.

Cabai rawit (Capsicum Frutescens L) merupakan salah satu usaha yang diandalkan oleh penduduk Desa Huwongo Kecamatan Biluhu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini meliputi: (1) untuk mengidentifikasi biaya transaksi petani cabai rawit di Desa Huwongo Kecamatan Biluhu Kabupaten Gorontalo dan (2) untuk menganalisis pengaruh biaya transaksi terhadap partisipasi rumah tangga petani dalam pemasaran cabai rawit di Desa Huwongo Kecamatan Biluhu. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis model probit, dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 112 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biaya transaksi pada petani cabai rawit di Desa Huwongo terbagi atas lama waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mencari informasi (jam), harga terakhir transaksi yang diterima petani (Rp/Kg), lama waktu transaksi jual beli (jam), jarak lahan ke jalan raya (meter), jarak lahan ke tempat jual cabai rawit (meter), jarak rumah ke tempat jual cabai rawit (meter), jarak rumah ke lahan (meter), luas lahan (ha), lama pembayaran dari tengkulak (hari), pengalaman berbudidaya (tahun), pendapatan terakhir panen (Rp), dapat mengakses kredit (1= tidak, 0=ya). Hasil analisis menggunakan model probit menunjukkan bahwa biaya transaksi yang signifikan mempengaruhi keputusan petani dalam berpartisipasi pada budidaya cabai rawit saja yaitu: harga terakhir transaksi yang diterima petani, lama waktu transaksi jual beli, luas lahan, pengalaman berbudidaya cabai rawit, pendapatan terakhir panen cabai rawit.

Pemberdayaan anak-anak LKSA Al Inayah Sipatana melalui pelatihan pengolahan produk pangan berbahan dasar pisang ambon Pelatihan memberikan dampak positif khususnya bagi anak-anak panti dan ibu-ibu yang tinggal disekitar panti Kelurahan Sipatana kota Gorontalo yaitu menjadi bekal keterampilan mengolah pisang ambon menjadi produk bernilai gizi dan ekonomis dan menjadi peluang bisnis dimasa mendatang. Pelatihan pembuatan olahan pisang yaitu berupa bolu pisang ambon dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25 Februari tahun 2023 di LKSA Al Inayah Kelurahan Sipatana Kota Gorontalo pada pukul 10.00 WITA. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian diawalai dengan identifikasi masalah, pemecahan masalah dan implementasi di lapangan. Pelatihan pengolahan produk cake berbahan dasar pisang ambon ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan anak-anak panti LKSA Al Inayah agar lebih mampu dan mandiri terutama dalam membangun kepercayan diri sehingga memiliki ketrampilan lebih dalam bidang pengolahan pangan yang bisa menjadi potensi usahan kedepannya nanti.

Dalam upaya memotong alur distribusi yang panjang maka Badan Litbang membentuk Unit Pengelolaan Benih Sumber (UPBS) ditiap-tiap BPTP yang ada disetiap provinsi di seluruh Indonesia. Berbagai alasan petani dalam memilih dan memutuskan benih padi untuk dibudidayakan, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas dari pola pendistribusian benih yang dilakukan oleh pihak BPTP Gorontalo serta melihat kecenderungan dan minat petani dalam mengadopsi suatu jenis benih yang akan dibudidayakan terutama pada benih NutriZinc dan benih Cakrabuana. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di BPTP Gorontalo dan Kabupaten Bone Bolango, waktu penelitian pada bulan Januari sampai Maret 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pola distribusi yang dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan mentabulasi data penjualan benih. Untuk mengukur efektivitas pola distribusi benih serta minat petani terhadap suatu varietas benih dilakukan dengan menggunakan model multiatribut fishbein. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pola distribusi yang diterapkan oleh BPTP Gorontalo terbagi menjadi 2, yaitu distribusi berdasarkan swadana dan distribusi berdasarkan bantuan. Distribusi terbilang efektif, dan kemudahan akses benih menjadi poin penting dalam adopsi suatu varietas benih padi oleh petani.
