Abstract

Petai River is the main channel that drains water from most of the drainage in Bangkinang City to Kampar River. The current channel capacity is considered insufficient to drain water, due to frequent flood events occurring at some points of the Petai River. The purpose of this study is to simulate the flood discharge in the existing Petai River cross section, using 10 years return period of flood design. The results of the flood water simulation in HEC-RAS show flooding in Petai 1 and Petai 2 Rivers, but there is no overflow on Petai River 3. Abstract

Pematang Duku is one of village in Bengkalis Distric, Bengkalis Regency. It’s difficult to find some clean water in this village, because has red brown color. The color of water will be sticky, if we use it for showerring and washing. When it rains, people collect the rain water with simple tool like bucket, but it can’t fulfill their needs for long time. In order to fulfill their needs of clean water, we need to apply technology in rain harvesting in Pematang Duku Village Bengkalis Distric, Bengkalis Regency. The research uses behavior model method that using of Rain Cycle 2 software with data input consists of daily rainfall data in a year (mm/day), effective wide of the roof (m2) coefficient of drainage from the roof and data of water needs according to the number of families (m3/day). The main result is number determination of percentage of the water that can be harvested .Keywords : Rain Harvesting Technology, Bengkalis, Rain Cylce 2 Software

Abstract

The inundation area is an area that inundated by water in case of the drainage channel cannot accommodate the flow of discharge, which causes the material losses and disturb the community activities. However, to solve the problem of flooding in Pekanbaru can not be done thoroughly because of the limited funds. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare the priority scale of channel rehabilitation drainage in Pekanbaru. The preparation of priority scale of drainage channel is done by using Analytic Network Process (ANP) method and assisted with Super Decisions software. The preparation of the priority scale refers to the rules minister of public works number: 12 / PRT / M / 2014. The results show there are 10 locations which ranked by the priority scale from the highest to the lowest which is the highest priority is the Tanjung Datuk street of Limapuluh subdistrict and the lowest is kota baru street of Senapelan subdistrict. Keywords : Analytic Network Process, Inundation, Drainage channel, Priority scale

Abstract

Information of characteristic watershed is very important to analysis tranformation rainfall be runoff. Study area in the river akuaman, that there is watershed of tapakis. One of the methods to analyzes the characteristic of a stream zone is by utilizing Digital Elevation Model (DEM). DEM`s data is processed by using the Geographical Information System Technology (GIS). The provided data and Geographical Information System is used to extract the characteristic of watersheds quickly, automatically, and integrated with other watershed`s data. By the availability of DEM`s data which is processed by using GIS application, is capable to produces the watershed characteristic`s data, which will be used to calculate the discharge of flood with Hidrograph Unit Syntetic method (HSS). The Hidrograph Unit Syntetic method which were used on this research are Gama I, Nakayasu, ITB-1, ITB-2, SCS, and Synder. The concept of syntetic unit of hydrograf with a value of control volume / run off must be approaching a value 1 mm of high direct run off (HDRo), so that known a method of syntetic unit of hydrograf can be applied to watershed. In a case study can be seen a all method of syntetic unit of hydrograf applicable to the watershed of Tapakis with the result is Gama I 0.77 mm , Nakayasu 1,01 mm , ITB I 1.00 mm , ITB II 1.00 mm , SCS 1.00 mm ,and Snyder 1,83 mm and the value of HDRo approaching 1 mm and the value of control volume below 5 %Key Word: Gama I, Nakayasu, SIG

Abstract

The area located on the banks of the Sail River, especially the downstream part of the river is an area that hasthe potential to flood and puddle when the rainfall is high in the upper reaches and the influence of the high tideof the Siak river. Floods that occurred on the banks of the Sail River inundated several infrastructures such asroads and residential areas. Based on Antara (2017), in Bambu Kuning street, the village of Rajosari was hit bya puddle of Sail river as high as about 30-60 cm, while around the residential area the height of the water was20 cm. The stages of the research are analyzing the frequency of rainfall data first, then calculating the planneddischarge with Nakayasu HSS, then hydraulic modeling using the HEC-RAS Program, after the flood waterlevel is obtained, the embankment planning is carried out. Based on the results of the analysis of the Sail Riverflood height, it was found that the flood face elevation in the upstream river, cross section 61 (SC 61) is 7.91 mor 1.57 m from the left bank of the river and 1.51 m from the right bank of the river and elevation flood face inthe downstream, cross section 0 (SC 0) is 2.67 m or -2.85 m from the left bank and -1.77 m from the right bank(non-flood conditions). After normalization, the height of the embankment plan is an elevation of 5.5 m at sta 0+ 050, elevation of 7 m sta 0 + 150-sta 2 + 150 (2000 m), elevation of 7.5 m sta 2 + 200-sta 3 + 050 (850 m)thus the water level elevation in the Sail river has decreased ± 1 m.Keywords: flood, embankment, HEC – RAS
