It is written in the Detailed Spatial Plan (RDTR) Selat Panjang city in 2013-2032.the condition of this area is still dominated by vegetation to absorb the rain now, but with the urban development plan, the vegetation region turned into housing, offices and trade. Such changes affect the condition of the drainage system on the road Dorak so flooding. To prevent more floods it was necessary to predict how much the flod’s high that occurred based on land use in 2032. This study uses EPA SWMM 5.0 to evaluate the ecurade problems. Based on the simulation results with the land usement in 2013 the occurred flood’s high was 0,416 m and the 2032 land usement and flood elevation of 1,165 m. With the change of land use in 2032 floods occur quite high. Gets approximate results with the recent flooding, flood prevention needs to be done by changing the dimensions of the channel. from the simulation results shown channel dimensions are able to cope with the flood is 2.5 m x 2.2 m by adding floodgates. Keywords: Flood, Drainage, EPA SWMM 5.0

Abstract

Regions Mutiara Witayu is an area with low ground, where not all runoff from rainwater can flow by gravity into the Siak River, when the high tide happen on Siak River during the rainy season there will be some back waters, so the water that should be drainaged to Siak River become overflow. This study aims to determine the capacity of the pump to serve the existing flood volume. From the calculation of flood volume that can be accommodated by the reservoir is at 5050, 876 m3. To overcome the flood in the area Mutiara Witayu completely due to R5, R10 and R25 without causing inundation by using a pump with a capacity of 6 m3 / sec. The using of 5 m3 /sec pump’s power can be used to solve the flood due to R5, R10 and R25 in the Regions Mutiara Witayu with 2908.981 m3 storage capacity will be required. Keywords: flood, ponds reservoirs, pumps

Abstract

The area located on the banks of the Siak river, especially the Meranti Pandak Village area, is an area that has the potential for flooding and inundation during high rainfall and the influence of high tides on the Siak river. Floods that occurred in this area inundated several infrastructures such as roads and residential areas. Based on Kompas (2018), floods with a height of 60 cm – 1 m hit residents of RW 02 and RW 12, Meranti Pandak Village. The stages of the research carried out are by analyzing the frequency of rainfall data first, then calculating the planned discharge with HSS Nakayasu, then hydraulic modeling using the HEC-RAS Program, after the flood water level is obtained, the gate and water pump planning are carried out. Based on the results of the analysis of the flood height of the Siak river at the 25-year return period, the flood level in the upstream river, cross section 17 (SC 17) is 19,30 m or -0.90 m from the left bank of the river (non-flooded condition) and 0.30 m from the right bank of the river (flood condition) and the flood face elevation at the downstream (flood condition), cross section 1 (SC 1) is 17,35 m or 1.94 m from the left bank (flood condition) and 1.45 m from the right bank (flood condition).Keyword: flood, rainfall, HEC-RAS

Abstract

Analysis of hydrological data is needed to determine the rainfall characteristics that suitable to space and time. Analysis of hydrological data can interpret the possibility of an upcoming event based on the data from the past. This interpretation uses probability distribution. The probability distribution that commonly used is Gamma Distribution, Exponential Distribution, Normal Distribution, Normal Log Distribution, Gumbel Distribution, and Log Person III Distribution. The purpose of this study was to choose the probability distribution based on Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and to determine its compatibility with the Chi Square test and the Smirnov Kolmogorov test. The maximum likelihood value of each data distribution is evaluated by AIC value. The distribution that has the smallest AIC values were re-tested with Chi Square test and Smirnov Kolmogorov test. The results showed that in the Siak River Basin, Normal Distribution has the smallest AIC value with AIC value -2.203 for Buatan Station, -2.486 for Kandis Station, -2.939 for Pekanbaru Station and -3.184 for Petapahan Baru Station. However, Normal Distribution can not be accepted as the best distribution according to Chi Square test and Smirnov Kolmogorov test. Keywords: Akaike Information Criterion (AIC), Probability Distribution, Chi Square test, Smirnov Kolmogorov test
