Abstract

Lebih dari sekadar sistem etis maupun teologis Islam diyakini penganutnya sebagai sebuah sistem kehidupan yang lengkap, termasuk mengatur kehidupan bernegara. Islam adalah din wa daulah (agama sekaligus negara). Keyakinan tersebut melahirkan dinamika dan proses pencarian konsep mengenai relasi Islam dan negara. Hal itu tidak semata karena tersedianya landasan teologis tapi gagasan „Negara Islam‟ juga memiliki basis legitimasi historis dalam kehidupan empiris kehidupan kaum muslim. Krisis yang timbul di dunia muslim maupun ancaman nilai-nilai Barat yang sekularistik dan materialistik telah mendorong lahirnya kerinduan terhadap narasi dan fantasi kehidupan ideal tersebut. Selain melacak akarakar historis mengenai pencarian konsep dan pergulatan wacana „Negara Islam‟, tulisan ini juga merekam berbagai ketegangan konseptual maupun empiris tentang gagasan penerapan „Syariat Islam‟ --salah satu varian isu Negara Islam---melalui Perda Syariat di sejumlah daerah sejak era otonomi daerah. Di bagian akhir dipaparkan mengenai prospek dan implikasi penerapan Syariat Islam bagi kehidupan kebangsaan dan demokrasi. Kata kunci: Syariat Islam, otonomi daerah, demokrasi.

Abstract

Indonesia, with its complex level of pluralism, is always challenged to find new ways to instill citizens' awareness of the reality of the existing pluralism. Educational institutions are tasked with carrying out social engineering in creating a harmonious and peaceful society amidst the various differences that exist. Even though the number is small, the existence of non-Muslim minority students at STKIP Yapis Dompu still requires the cultivation of awareness and values of multiculturalism as the responsibility of the world of education. The participation of STKIP Yapis students in the Independent Student Exchange (PMM) activities in 2022 provides important experience in viewing the reality of pluralism both on campus and in society. The Nusantara module is one of the program materials that aims to provide participants with a multicultural perspective. In this module students are invited to visit various houses of worship, destinations and historical sites in the destination campus area. For students, this experience gives a different impression, especially for those who grew up in a homogeneous environment. PMM will also encourage campuses to formulate inclusive and protective policies to prevent the "Three Sins of Higher Education" from acts of bullying, sexual violence and intolerance. This policy is a response to create an atmosphere and educational environment that is safe and respects differences. Therefore, it is important to know the views of STKIP Yapis students regarding the spirit of diversity so that it can be used as best practices in building social harmony. This qualitative research uses data collection techniques through document study and descriptive data analysis. This study concluded that the PMM program gave a positive impression to STKIP Yapis students in responding to differences and fostering a spirit of brotherhood and nationalism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kualitatif dengan Kajian Pustaka yang mengkaji berbagai referensi terkait dengan strategi peningkatan kompetensi profesional Guru, Guru merupakan pekerjaan yang membutuhkan berbagai persyaratan profesional. Pendidikan bermutu sangat tergantung kepada guru yang bermutu pula. Sebab hanya dengan guru yang bermutu dapat menyelenggarakan tugasnya secara memadai. Tugas umum guru adalah mencerdaskan bangsa dalam arti yang seluas-luasnya, mengembangkan pribadi-pribadi manusia Indonesia seutuhnya serta membentuk ilmuwan dan tenaga ahli. Guru yang bermutu adalah guru yang memiliki syarat-syarat kepribadian dan kemampuan teknis keguruan. Tulisan ini akan membahas tentang berbagai strategi yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Canva media on students’ learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at SMP Negeri 2 Dompu. The low level of students’ enthusiasm in IRE learning, which is still dominated by conventional methods, encourages the use of more innovative digital visual media. This study employed a quantitative ex post facto approach. The population consisted of 143 eighth-grade students, with 23 students selected as the sample through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results showed that the use of Canva media had a significant effect on students’ learning motivation in IRE (t = 6.372; p < 0.05), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.621. These findings indicate that Canva media is effective in increasing students’ interest, attention, and engagement in IRE learning. Therefore, the use of Canva is recommended as a creative and contextual learning medium in line with the Merdeka Curriculum.
