Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent of the integration of local wisdom (ethnoscience) in the science learning evaluation instrument. The study conducted in the form of the type of instrument developed, measurement of instrument quality and also the instrument development model used. This study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) study using the PRISMA method with the stages of formulating research questions, collecting literature, determining inclusion and exclusion criteria, collecting data from literature that is still in the inclusion criteria, data analysis and data presentation. The literature was excavated from the Google Scholar and eric.ed.gov websites in the period 2015 – 2025. The number of literature that met the inclusion criteria was 12 articles. The results of the study stated that: 1) the integration of local wisdom (ethnoscience) in the science learning evaluation instrument is limited to the form of tests; 2) the measurement of instrument quality carried out in the form of validity, reliability, discrimination and difficulty level tests and 3) the test development model used partly uses the ADDIE development model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan; 1) motif batik di industri Tatzaka, 2) warna batik di industri Tatzaka, 3) bahan pembuatan batik di industri Tatzaka, 4) teknik pembuatan batik di industri Tatzaka. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripstif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; 1) perkembangan motif batik di industri Tatzaka, dilihat dari perkembangan motif, adanya motif kombinasi, motif geometris, motif hewan, dan motif tumbuhan, 2) perkembangan warna batik di industri Tatzaka yang semula hanya warna netral dan primer, kemudian berkembang dengan adanya warna sekunder dan tersier, 3) perkembangan bahan pembuatan batik, yang semula bahan utama menggunakan kain primisima saat ini sudah menggunakan kain rayon, sutera, bahan pewarna sudah menggunakan pewarna sintetis seperti pewarna naptol dan remasol, zat pengunci warna menggunakan waterglass dan soda api, 4) perkembangan teknik pembuatan batik, yang mulanya teknik pembuatan batik masih sangat tradisional dengan menggunakan canting dan alat cap yang dilakukan secara manual, atau teknik yang digunakan teknik batik tulis dan teknik cap, namun saat ini berkembang dengan adanya kombinasi antara tulis dan cap. Sehingga, teknik pembuatan batik di industri Tatzaka ada teknik batik tulis, teknik batik cap, dan teknik kombinasi cap dan tulis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi tuntutan profesional guru sosiologi untuk menerapkan asesemen dalam pembelajaran sesuai amanat kurikulum merdeka. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan penerapan asesmen dalam Pembelajaran Sosiologi Kurikulum Merdeka di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Mataram. Lokasi Penelitian di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Mataram. Adapun yang menjadi narasumber dalam penelitian ini adalah guru sosiologi, wakil kepala sekolah bagian kurikulum, dan perwakilan siswa kela X dan XI. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Penemuan hasil penelitian 1) Penerapan asesemen Pembelajaran Sosiologi mengikuti 3 Jenis asesmen kurikulum merdeka berupa asesemen diagnostik, formatif, sumatif; 2) Guru menggunkan berbagai metode inovatif dalam menerapakan asesemen; 3) Asesemen memiliki peran penting membantu siswa memahami materi, meningkatkan motivasi, dan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis; 4) Tantangan utama dalam penerapan asesemen seperti asesemen diagnostik dan formatif yang belum optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum across various educational institutions in Indonesia through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) supported by bibliometric analysis. A total of 30 Scopus-indexed articles, were analyzed using the PRISMA protocol to identify implementation strategies, key challenges, and student learning outcomes following the curriculum adoption. The findings indicate that common implementation strategies include teacher professional development, school leadership enhancement, project-based learning, and the integration of local values into the curriculum. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, such as limited pedagogical competencies, inadequate digital infrastructure, and disparities in curriculum quality across regions. In terms of learning outcomes, the Merdeka Curriculum has shown potential in enhancing student engagement, critical thinking, and independent learning, particularly in institutions with strong institutional readiness. The study recommends policies to improve teacher capacity, reduce administrative burdens, ensure equitable access to technology, and promote cross-sector collaboration as critical measures to strengthen curriculum implementation. This review contributes valuable insights for policymakers and educational practitioners in designing evidence-based strategies to support the success of Indonesia’s national curriculum reform.

Abstract

The low levels of decision-making skills (DMS) and design thinking skills (DTS) among Industrial Design Engineering students in Bali hinder their readiness to meet industry demands. This problem is compounded by students’ low self-efficacy in making career decisions and their limited exposure to authentic, collaborative, and interdisciplinary training. This study aims to address these gaps by implementing and evaluating a transformative multicultural education model as an innovative strategy to enhance DMS and DTS. Employing an experimental research design, the study involved 64 vocational schools (SMK) across Bali, selected to represent diverse cultural and socio-economic contexts. Data were collected through validated structured questionnaires measuring DMS and DTS, followed by quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and MANOVA. The findings reveal that the transformative multicultural learning model produced a statistically significant improvement in both skill domains, fostering not only technical creativity but also culturally responsive decision-making. The novelty of this research lies in its integration of multicultural perspectives directly into the design thinking framework—positioning cultural diversity as an active driver of creative problem-solving rather than a passive background element. Furthermore, the approach embeds real-world project simulations grounded in local cultural values, bridging the gap between academic preparation and industry expectations. This combination of cultural adaptation, critical thinking, and collaborative design creates a robust foundation for inclusive, future-ready learning environments. The results suggest that transformative multicultural education can serve as a scalable, culturally relevant model for preparing students to navigate complex, globalized work environments while retaining local identity.

Abstract

Pembelajaran pada program keahlian Tata Busana di SMK pembelajaran keterampilan praktik tinggi, khususnya dalam kompetensi pembuatan pola dasar busana. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi pendidikan, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang mampu menghadirkan visualisasi proses pembuatan pola secara menarik dan interaktif. Namun berdasarkan kajian literatur dan kondisi lapangan, penelitian yang khusus menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan multimedia interaktif pada pembelajaran pola dasar busana di SMK masih terbatas, terutama yang mengintegrasikan karakteristik pembelajaran kejuruan, kebutuhan peserta didik, serta kesiapan sarana sekolah sebagai dasar media pengembangan. Senjangan ini menunjukkan perlunya kajian kebutuhan yang komprehensif sebagai landasan pengembangan multimedia yang relevan dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan multimedia interaktif pembuatan pola busana di SMK sebagai dasar desain media interaktif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik kejuruan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan pada tahap analisis dari model pengembangan ADDIE ( analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi ). Subjek penelitian meliputi guru mata pelajaran pembuatan pola busana, siswa kelas X program keahlian Tata Busana, dan kepala program keahlian di dua SMK di Kabupaten Buleleng. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan wawancara serta dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pembelajaran pembuatan pola busana masih belum memanfaatkan multimedia interaktif secara optimal; (2) guru maupun siswa menunjukkan kebutuhan tinggi terhadap pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran yang menampilkan animasi langkah demi langkah, simulasi, dan latihan interaktif dimana 95% guru dan 91% siswa sangat setuju terhadap penggunaan multimedia interaktif; (3) sarana pendukung di SMK umumnya sudah memadai (tersedia komputer, LCD, dan smartphone siswa) namun belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Temuan ini menjadi dasar penting untuk merancang multimedia interaktif yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, keterampilan praktik, serta motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pembuatan pola busana.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to systematically examine the use of Bloom's Taxonomy in formative and summative evaluations as an important instrument for measuring student learning outcomes. The revised Bloom's Taxonomy offers a systematic cognitive framework from levels C1 (remembering) to C6 (creating), which can be used as a basis for developing valid and meaningful evaluations. Method: This study was conducted using a systematic literature review method on 30 articles published between 2020 and 2025. The analysis results indicate that the application of Bloom's Taxonomy in formative evaluations is still dominated by lower cognitive levels (C1-C2), despite efforts to strengthen the approach to higher-order thinking. Meanwhile, Bloom-based summative evaluations have demonstrated increased validity and alignment with learning outcomes, particularly through the use of rubrics and authentic assessments.  Results:  This study also identified various challenges, such as low teacher competency in developing taxonomy-based instruments and the suboptimal integration of technology, including artificial intelligence, to support adaptive evaluation. Nevertheless, several practical strategies were identified, such as teacher training, the use of competency-based question banks, and the development of digital-based project evaluations.  Novelty: The integration of Bloom's Taxonomy into learning evaluation has significant potential to improve assessment quality, mainly if supported by systemic policies, ongoing training, and technological innovation. This research provides a conceptual contribution to the development of an evaluation system that is fair, objective, and relevant to the needs of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This research advances the field of educational evaluation by designing and psychometrically validating an artificial intelligence (AI)- based diagnostic tool to detect discrepancies in university learning processes. The main novelty is the integration of the Provus Discrepancy Model combined with a forward-chaining inference engine. This research aims to transform evaluation from an administrative activity to an ongoing process of improvement. The tool was developed and validated through a sequential mixed-methods approach with 400 participants from 3 state universities and 8 evaluation experts. Results from the study provide evidence that the validated system created a substantial range of psychometric characteristics. These psychometric characteristics include strong content validity (SD-CVI/Ave = 0.94); high internal consistency and reliability (Cronbach's α = 0.94); solid construct validity as demonstrated through Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) (CFI = 0.94; RMSEA = 0.054) and a substantial range of predictive analytics (diagnostic learning analytics), which the AI learning analytics engine evaluated learning discrepancies with a 92.4% diagnostic accuracy (47.4% more accurate than manual evaluation methods). The system's validated usefulness is demonstrated through high system usability (SUS = 88.2); high practical utility (85% total score on the Pragmatic Utility Assessment); significant utility (real-world) practical utility (detected 45 discrepancy patterns), cost efficiency (73% cost and 67% analysis time compared to traditional methods), and a range of analytics (predictive and learning discrepancy analytics). The significant contribution of this study is the development of the world's first integrated AI evaluation system that meets high methodological and psychometric standards, along with a set of real-time diagnostic analytics. Ultimately, this study developed the first truly integrated, novel paradigm evaluation system that combined the historically established evaluation construct and mechanisms with the most advanced AI capabilities, providing educators and institutions with evaluation tools to deliver data-driven pedagogical strategies and interventions in higher education.
