Abstract

Recently, there consists a rapid growth of Indomaret and Alfamart. so that effects the existence of traditional traders. Research objectives are as follow; firstly, to understand and to analyze the effect of competition between Indomaret and Alfamart toward the existence of traditional traders. Secondly, to understand and to analyze the government’s effort to redeem the effect. Research methodology which used is the combination of normative law research and empirical law research methodologies. Research outcomes are as follow; firstly, the negative effect is the traditional traders suffer turnover decline which subsequently lowers their profits.. On the contrary, the positive effect is the competition stimulates the traditional traders to improve the qualities of their products, service, facilities as well as innovation so they could have competitive abilities; the traditional traders could create employment for other micro business scheme to endeavor those of UMKMs. Secondly, the government’s effort to redeem the effect of competition between Indomaret and Alfamart toward the existence of traditional traders, is the policy of local regulation which specifically regulates licensing, localizing, and zone along with the analysis of social-economic of local society, including the existence of traditional traders.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the assessment of the success of small and medium-sized snack food industry businesses in Sukabumi City. The samples were taken from 50 Snack Food UMKM/IMKM registered with the Sukabumi City Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative methods. The research results show that based on Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), two attributes have been identified that must be prioritized, such as having the ability to grow the business (management, financial, administrative, sales skills, creating competitive products), and being oriented towards the future (Vision and Mission, business goals). In addition, the sub variable of business success based on Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), that must be prioritized is the Education sub variable.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effects of simultaneous and partial training and work experience on employee performance, as well as to determine the most dominant effect between training and work experience on employee performance. The research method used is the quantitative method. The population in this study is employees in the neighborhood of the Polda Metro Jaya State Police School as many as 235 employees. The sampling of 100 employees was done by simple random sampling. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 20.0 software. Research results show that simultaneous and partial job training and experience have an effect on employee performance, as well as a dominant variable in influencing employee performance, namely job experience.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of leadership, workload and work ability on employee turnover intention at PT Pendidikan Maritim Dan Logistik Indonesia (Pmli) Bogor. Before an employee takes a turnover action, it is usually preceded by turnover intention. In this research, the cause of the employee's desire to stop working is thought to be leadership that is not working well, too much workload and a mismatch in abilities and job duties. Sampling of 100 employees was carried out using proportional stratified random sampling. The analytical method used in the research is descriptive and verification methods. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, observation, interviews and literature study. Data analysis uses multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, F test and t test. The results of this research show that the variables of leadership, workload and work ability simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee turnover intention. Meanwhile, partially leadership and workload have a positive and significant effect on employee turnover intention and work ability has a negative and significant effect on employee turnover intention.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how knowledge and business abilities influence the performance of shoe micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Kebon Kembang Market, Bogor City. All shoe MSME players in the market are the objects of research. In this study, the population was 48 business people. The sampling was 48 business people where the sample was determined through census or saturated sampling. This research uses quantitative methods. Data analysis uses various statistical tests, including validity, reliability tests, multiple linear regression tests, multiple correlation analysis, and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of the research show that knowledge and business abilities have quite a big influence on the performance of shoe MSMEs in the Kebon Kembang Market. Around 63.1% of MSME performance can be explained by knowledge and business ability factors. Knowledge and business abilities have a positive and significant effect on the performance of MSMEs, both simultaneously and partially.

Abstract

Employee motivation is crucial to ensuring that every employee can work optimally. This study aims to identify the low levels of employee motivation at PT XYZ. The decline in motivation is caused by several issues, such as compensation that does not meet expectations and less harmonious working relationships. These factors have resulted in the company's targets not being achieved. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection methods including in-depth interviews, observations, literature studies, and documentation. The results of the study show that adequate compensation can increase employee motivation. Furthermore, harmonious working relationships can help employees complete their tasks effectively. This study recommends improving compensation policies and efforts to create a conducive working environment to enhance employee motivation, thereby enabling the company to achieve its targets.

Abstract

Productivity is an important factor for companies to achieve the goals set. Research objectives to determine the effect of competence and organizational culture on employee productivity through work motivation as an intervening Variable. The sample used is all employees of PT Union Teknika totaling 64 employees. The results showed that both simultaneously and partially competence and organizational culture affect work motivation, simultaneously and partially competence, organizational culture and work motivation are directly positive and significant to employee work productivity, work motivation is able to mediate the effect of competence on employee work productivity and work motivation is not able to mediate the effect of organizational culture on employee work productivity.

Abstract

Cooperatives serve as a people-based economic institution that plays a strategic role in efforts to improve social welfare, especially for their members. This study aims to analyze the direct, indirect, and total influence of motivation and commitment on business success at KPRI Usaha Sekerja BBLITVET Bogor, with member participation as an intervening variable. The population in this study includes all members of KPRI Usaha Sekerja BBLITVET Bogor, totaling 130 people. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, in which all members of the population were used as research samples. The type of data used is ordinal data, which was then converted into metric data on an interval scale using the Method of Successive Interval (MSI) method. The data analysis techniques in this study include descriptive analysis, verification analysis, path analysis, and the Sobel test to examine the role of the intervening variable. The research instrument in the form of a questionnaire has been tested for validity, reliability, and met the classical assumption tests. The results of the study show that motivation and commitment have a direct and positive influence on business success. In addition, motivation, commitment, and member participation also directly have a positive influence on business success. Furthermore, motivation and commitment also indirectly influence business success through the active participation of cooperative members.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation, work discipline, and work environment of employees in the production department of PT Dobha Putra Salim. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 122 respondents who were employees of the production department of PT Dobha Putra Salim. The data analysis techniques used were multiple linear regression, multiple correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, F test and t test. The results of the correlation analysis showed that the R value was 0.938, meaning that each variable had a very strong relationship. While the determination coefficient (R Square) showed the influence of motivation, work discipline, and work environment on employee work productivity in the production department of PT Dobha Putra Salim by 88.1% while the remaining 11.9% was explained by other variables not included in this study. The results of the F test and t test showed that simultaneously and partially motivation, work discipline, and work environment had a positive and significant effect on work productivity at PT Dobha Putra Salim

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh produktivitas kerja berbasis work life balance dan kompensasi melalui motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada karyawan produksi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 101 karyawan bagian produksi dan sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan verifikatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum tingkat produktivitas kerja berada dalam kriteria tinggi, dengan indikator tertinggi adalah ketepatan waktu. Motivasi kerja karyawan juga tergolong baik, terutama pada aspek kebutuhan akan penghargaan. Work life balance dinilai cukup, dengan fleksibilitas waktu kerja sebagai indikator tertinggi, dan kompensasi dinilai sesuai, terutama pada aspek insentif. Hasil koefisien determinasi persamaan pertama sebesar 0,537 atau 53,7%, sedangkan koefisien determinasi persamaan kedua sebesar 0,429 atau 42,9%. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa work life balance dan kompensasi berpengaruh langsung dan positif terhadap motivasi kerja serta produktivitas kerja. Selain itu, motivasi kerja juga memiliki pengaruh langsung dan positif terhadap produktivitas kerja. Lebih lanjut, work life balance dan kompensasi juga berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap produktivitas kerja melalui motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan pentingnya peran work life balance dan kompensasi dalam meningkatkan motivasi serta produktivitas kerja karyawan.
