Abstract

One indicator of company’s or business’s successfulness in the competition was the company or business must have competitive advantage that allowed the industrial company of foods and beverages yielding the superiority of production result than their competitors in the determining the strategy and business performance continually.  The population of this research was foods and  beverages  industry  especially  big  and  medium  industrial company,  which  have  multi-business  and  multi-products  in  the  East  Java area  that  consist  of  1286  industrial  companies of  foods  and  beverages according  to  the  Indonesian  Business  Field  Classification    (KLUI  15) years 2002.  The  data  analysis  technique  used  Structural  Equation  Modeling  = SEM)  with computer  help  used  AMOS  program  4.0  version.The  research result  indicated  that:  (1)  all  of independent variables have positive influence and significant toward the business strategy and the business performance; (2) simultaneously the influence of teaching orientation, production competence  and  market  orientation  toward  business  strategy and  business  performance  was proper as the created model.  The conclusion of this research was the research result generally indicated  the  existence of positive  influence  that  experienced  by  that  industrial  company  of foods and beverages both from test result partially or simultaneously. And that not all of partial or simultaneous influence toward business strategy and business performance has positive or negative result, but it still categorized as reasonable.

Abstract

Membaca merupakan usaha penyebaran gagasan dan upaya kreatif. Oleh karena itu, sarana TB di Kelurahan Made Kota Surabaya akan berpotensi untuk mengubah masyarakat yang kurang menyukai membaca menjadi masyarakat minat membaca diperlukan adanya perubahan budaya. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan peneliti terhadap masyarakat di sekitar lokasi TB dengan jumlah responden 36 orang dan rata-rata menyatakan sangat setuju dengan keberadaan TB tersebut. Implikasi keberadaan TB adalah untuk meningkatkan spirit kewirausahaan dan juga mempermudah untuk mengakses informasi bisnis bagi masyarakat Kelurahan Made Kota Surabaya dengan demikian akan berpeluang bagi masyarakat untuk menjadi pelaku bisnis akan semakin meningkat sehingga akan berpotensi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di lingkungan masyarakat Kelurahan Made Kota Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to explore conflict resolution and succession planning in the family business PT. Soka Abadi, a family-owned company in the property sector specializing in residential developments and commercial complexes. The main issues faced by PT. Soka Abadi include family conflicts that negatively impact the company and the preparation of potential successors to lead the family business. Utilizing a qualitative research method, the study employs semi-structured interviews for data collection. To ensure the validity and reliability of the findings, the author applies source triangulation. The collected data is then reduced and analyzed to inform conflict resolution and succession planning. The results indicate several strategies for resolving conflicts in family businesses, including pruning the family tree, revolving office roles, participative decision-making, and organizational restructuring. Furthermore, the findings reveal that the succession preparation process at PT. Soka Abadi is effectively progressing through the implementation of necessary functions. Overall, the study highlights the importance of addressing family conflicts and establishing a clear succession plan to ensure the longevity and success of the family business.

Abstract

This research explores the development of apartments, particularly focusing on Puncak Bukit Golf Apartments in Surabaya, a popular choice for millennials due to limited land availability and rising property prices. However, the apartment complex has received numerous complaints regarding its facilities and quality, such as broken lifts, damaged gym equipment, and slow service. To address these issues, a pre-survey was conducted with 30 respondents, revealing significant concerns about these facilities. As a result, the researcher seeks to examine the impact of service quality and facilities on word-of-mouth marketing and trust. The objectives of this study include investigating the relationship between facilities and service quality, the effect of service quality on word-of-mouth marketing, the influence of facilities on word-of-mouth marketing, and how service quality mediates these relationships. Additionally, the study examines the impact of word-of-mouth marketing on trust. The research uses a sample of 170 respondents, aged 21 to 60 years, who have lived in the apartment for at least six months. Data will be collected via online questionnaires distributed through Google Forms, with purposive sampling employed. Data analysis will be conducted using Smart-PLS software. The results of the study are expected to show significant interconnections between all the variables.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a balanced scorecard system concept design that is in accordance with the vision and mission of PT. Wecon which is engaged in consulting services for dam construction in the territory of Indonesia. This research method uses descriptive qualitative method with triangulation technique. This study uses informants consisting of 3 management people, 1 association from similar companies, 1 expert who understands in designing the balance scorecard of a consulting service company. This research was conducted from December 2021 to July 2022. The first stage will begin with a SWOT analysis. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the company is in a condition that requires quality human resources so that in the future the company must develop a strategy that must be done. In the next stage, measurements are carried out based on the perspective of the policy model to be implemented in a work program that includes four aspects of financial, customer, internal business, growth and learning. Based on the process hierarchy analysis method, it is found that the customer perspective will be the first priority, then followed by the financial, internal business, and learning and growth perspectives. customer needs, increase cooperation with local and international companies, provide training and certification for employees.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test and analyze the effect of product quality, price, and packaging on customer loyalty for Mutiara Kediri Coffee. This research uses a quantitative approach where the research data is collected through a questionnaire. The research sample of 119 respondents was taken randomly using purposive sampling technique. The sample criteria used are customers who have bought Mutiara Coffee more than 2 times. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire to measure customer perceptions of product quality, price, packaging, and loyalty. Regression analysis reveals that product quality, price, and packaging all have a significant positive effect on customer loyalty. Specifically, higher product quality fosters greater commitment and repeat purchases, while competitive pricing and attractive, functional packaging also contribute to increased loyalty. The study highlights that each of these factors independently influences customer behavior, and together, they significantly shape long-term customer retention. Further research is suggested to explore other factors, such as social media presence, that might influence customer behavior in the food and beverage sector.

Abstract

Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa investasi di sektor konstruksi tidak hanya meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi tetapi juga mendukung tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Di Jawa Timur, data dari Badan Pusat Statistik menunjukkan peningkatan jumlah perusahaan konstruksi dari tahun 2017 hingga 2021. Peningkatan ini terkait dengan berbagai faktor ekonomi dan pembangunan, termasuk investasi infrastruktur dan permintaan properti yang meningkat. Pada penelitian ini PT. First Grand Synergy Indonesia (FGSI), sebuah perusahaan konstruksi yang mengalami peningkatan turnover karyawan dalam tiga tahun terakhir. Melalui pra-survei menggunakan metode interview dengan konsultan bisnis pihak ketiga, penelitian ini mengevaluasi budaya organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan, dan kepuasan kerja di PT. FGSI. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, dan kepuasan kerja karyawan, serta perlunya perbaikan dalam manajemen stres dan pengembangan kebijakan kerja untuk mengurangi turnover karyawan. Dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) untuk menganalisis data penelitian ini memberikan hasil bahwa gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan namun berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan kepuasan kerja, serta kepuasan kerja menjadi mediasi signifikan dalam hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya perbaikan dalam gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan kepuasan kerja karyawan di PT. FGSI.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah: (1) mengeksplorasi dan menciptakan desain-desain alas kaki yang up to date sesuai dengan keinginan dan kebutuhan konsumen berbasis kearifan lokal, dan (2) membuat prototipe alas kaki untuk mendukung sektor Alas Kaki sebagai Industri Prioritas (Nawa Cita). Pemberdayaan masyarakat di Kelurahan Kemasan Kecamatan Krian sangat perlu mendapat perhatian khusus baik dari pemerintah maupun swasta serta dari civitas akademisi, karena masyarakat yang ada sudah mempunyai budaya kerja dibidang alas kaki. Oleh karena itu perlu upaya peningkatan dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat yang ada sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari masyarakat. Jumlah industri kecil khususnya dibidang alas kali ada 39 IKM dengan jumlah tenaga kerja sudah sangat besar totalnya yaitu 245 orang. Metode pelaksanaan yang akan diterapkan ini adalah benchmarking, design by drawing dan teknologi konstruksi alas kaki. Diberikan pembelajaran design by drawing adalah kegiatan yang melibatkan penalaran untuk mengekspresikan ide, memverifikasi dan mengevaluasi sketsa. Penggunaan teknologi dalam upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat yaitu mengunakan konstruksi trigenic adalah mengkombinasikan tiga sol yang memadukan gaya hidup modern, fleksibelitas dengan mengikuti lebar jari kaki dan kenyamanan dengan mengikuti kontur kaki. Pemberdayaan masyarakat tersebut telah nyata memberikan keterampilan kepada IKM tentang bagaimana menghasilkan desain-desain alas kaki yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of social media, store atmosphere and promotion on repurchase intention for Paon Siyap Karunia products. The study used quantitative methods to test between research variables. Paon Siyap Karunia is a food business that sells Indonesian food from 2020. The population used in this study were people who had bought Paon Siyap Karunia products, with a sample of 150 respondents. Data was collected using google form. This study uses purposive sampling techniques and non-probability sampling methods. Data was processed using SPSS 26. The result showed that social media has an effect on repurchase interest, which shows that managing social media to be better and more attractive can increase repurchase interest. The result showed that store atmosphere has an effect on repurchase interest, which shows that having a comfortable place can increase repurchase interest. The result showed that promotion has an impact on repurchase interest, which provides evidence that appropriate and attractive promotions can increase repurchase interest. And the results on social media, store atmosphere and promotions affect the interest in repurchasing Paon Siyap Karunia products.
