Abstract

PDAM Surabaya is the business unit belongs to an area that plays a crucial in fulfilling the needs of clean water communities that apply IT to assist in the achievement of the business objectives of the company. In its application, the maturity level of the IT management at PDAM Surabaya is the absence of supervision to run the procedure, so that the risk of many irregularities and discrepancies between operational processes that run with the policy that is set up. The solution to deal with these problems, the need for an IT governance is thus expected to produce maximum output to the company, help the decision-making process, as well as help the process of problem solving. As the basis for drafting of the COBIT framework is 4.1. External of it governance is a document that includes: 1) the alignment of the IT objectives with business goals that breakfast buffet by the 8 Primary and seven Secondary IT Process that supports the achievement of Strategic Aligment on Focus Area IT Governance. 2) Gap analysis in each domain, the results of processing the questionnaire found value is Defined as-is Process, while the results of the interviews found that the value of the to-be is Managed and Measurable. 3) stages the process increases as-is headed to-be each IT Process in order to produce the expected accomplishments. 4) Recommendations implementation of it governance based on COBIT 4.1 framework each IT Process so that relevant parties could easily carry out the monitoring of the management and measurement.

Abstract

Abstract: PT Pertamina (Persero) MOR V have responsibility to some areas, such as East Java, Bali, NTB, NTT, and East Timor. This company have been established information and system technology services. IT Marketing and Trading has responsibility for 6 information and system technology services. Maturity level for the last audit process were good enough, but there are problems that exists. The problem that happened in these services are lack of response to customer in respond to customer’s requests and lack of ERP and non-ERP services. Result from these problems is delays in management services called lack of services. The result is customer’s trust to IT M&T could be reduced due to this lack of service. Because of that this company needs to do continuous information and system technology audit that based on the 2014 audit which has been done by this company. Hopefully this audit can be used to know the cause from these complaint. This audit used COBIT 4.1 standard because control for problems existed in this company have been identified using COBIT 4.1 so this company can continue to implement and monitor the accepted main goal has been reached or not. Keywords: audit, system and information technology audit. Abstract

Chicken diseases often fear chicken farmers. In many cases, chicken diseases can reduce egg productivity of chickens. If there is one chicken affected and it doesn’t handle quickly and precisely, it indirectly can cause the other chickens affected as well that could potentially lead to death. On the other hand, there are limitation number of chicken veterinary in rural areas. Hence, the affected chickens cannot be handled as soon as possible. In this paper, we build an expert system with certainty factor method that is able to diagnose the chicken diseases computationally. Testing results shows that the expert system can identify chicken diseases with accuracy of 92,8%. The results were obtained by testing through 14 chickens that bear chicken diseases. Keywords: Expert System, Certainty Factor, Disease chicken

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that arise in the financial departement of Perkebunan Nusantara XI Corp associated with the use of information systems in its operational activities. The use of current information systems have the purpose of facilitating the operations of finance in order to save the cost of operational expenses. But their current information systems lead to swelling operating costs and investments is not reached. This research aims to create a site planning information system needs on the financial department of Perkebunan Nusantara XI  Corp corresponding to the operations of the financial department. In completing the objectives of this study will be used method of Ward and Peppard. In the method of Ward and Peppard  to do financial business analysis and information technology systems before planning information system requirements for the finance department. The results of this study form part of the financial application portfolio that can be built within one year two months.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMangrove forests is one of the potential resources of some coastal areas of Indonesia that have ecological functions, social and economic functions, and physical functions. Good management will make the mangrove forest area as an attractive tourist area with many visitors. To make the forest area of Mangrove become an attractive tourist spot, it is needed an information media that can provide information clearly and completely. As an effort to develop the potential of ecotourism in Surabaya, Surabaya city government has established a regional technical implementation unit that is Mangrove Information Center (MIC). To help MIC, it has been made an information media that can be widely accessed by visitors with easy and interesting. The media is a digital information book about the area of Mangrove tourism, which can be accessed widely.Keywords: Mangrove, Digital Book, Information Media ABSTRAKHutan mangrove adalah salah satu sumber daya yang berpotensi di area pesisir Indonesia yang memiliki fungsi ekologis, fungsi sosial dan ekonomi, serta fungsi fisik. Pengelolaan yang baik akan membuat wilayah hutan mangrove menjadi area pariwisata yang diminati banyak pengunjung. Agar hutan Mangrove dapat menjadi kawasan tempat wisata yang menarik, maka diperlukan sebuah media informasi yang dapat menyediakan informasi secara jelas dan lengkap. Sebagai salah satu usaha pengembangan potensi lokasi ekowisata di Surabaya., pemerintah kota Surabaya telah membentuk unit pelaksana teknis daerah (UPTD) Mangrove Information Center (MIC). Untuk mengatasi permasalahan dari MIC di atas, maka telah dibuat sebuah media informasi yang dapat diakses secara luas oleh pengunjung dengan mudah dan menarik. Abstract

Servisin is a new startup with a business process, namely being an intermediary between consumers and electronic equipment service providers/technicians in servicing household electronic equipment. In carrying out its business processes, consumers cannot choose service providers according to the desired criteria, resulting in service providers not in accordance with consumer wishes and will have an impact on consumer satisfaction. Therefore Servisin requires an application-based system that can help recommend service providers to consumers according to the desired criteria. The research method uses the SDLC prototype model with problem solving using the Weighted Product (WP) method in making service provider recommendations. The criteria used are Price, Distance, Rating and Experience. The research resulted in the Servisin application which has a service provider recommendation feature based on the criteria and weights that have been selected, and has been tested using Black Box Testing with an application success percentage of 100%. The survey distributed to 30 respondents said that 93.3% assisted in choosing a service provider according to consumer needs and preferences.

Abstract

In Dinamika University exists an alumni’s website at http://alumni.dinamika.ac.id. According to an interview with the PLKA (Pusat Layanan Karir dan Alumni) division and other alumnis of the Dinamika University, it is found that the Alumni website is not fulfilling the needs of its user. From there, it is deduced that the main problems faced on this project is how to design the user interface on the Dinamika University’s Alumni website for increased usability with the UCD approach. In the UCD method, early and final evaluation of the design is carried on using heuristic evaluation with a severity rating scale ranging from 0 to 4, from the early design evaluation it is revealed that the old UI has problems of Catastrophic severity, which warrants a design adjustments and repairs. The designing process utilizes wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes. The general base and data for the designing process is gained from surveys of the PLKA and the alumnis, from which this design would later be subjected to a final evaluation to find out any usability problems, which using the same rating scale, is the rounded severity scale of 0, meaning that already fulfilling the need

Abstract

Alignment between business needs and Information Technology (IT) strategy is one of the main factors for the success of a business. One of them is about the interface design of the application used by the user. The current condition in the company is that marketing and sales activities only use social media such as WhatsApp and Facebook. These cause problems in two business activities, namely a less broad market coverage, frequent barriers to communication, less efficient delivery, and an obstacle to the recording by employees. This research aims to design a sales application user interface that suits business needs using a Design Thinking approach by collecting user characteristics using the User Persona tool. The test uses Usability Testing by giving 4 User Scenarios to each respondent to run and complete on the prototype. The test results show that respondents can complete all User Scenarios in the first iteration by 100%. Based on the test results, the design is good, in line with business needs, and accepted by potential users.

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi covid-19 banyak sektor usaha dan jasa mendapatkan dampak besar, termasuk sektor pendidikan. Semua kegiatan diwajibkan mengurangi tatap muka untuk menekan penyebaran virus covid-19. Kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah terpaksa di ubah menjadi daring (tatap muka maya). Muncul masalah ketika tenaga pendidik akan memberikan evaluasi capaian pembelajaran (khususnya kuis) kepada anak didik secara daring. Muncul kekawatiran pada tenaga pendidik bahwa jika memberikan soal secara softcopy kepada anak didik maka ada kemungkinan anak didik akan berbuat curang seperti kerja sama, menyontek, dan lain-lain. Tenaga pendidik pernah menggunakan aplikasi Google Form, akan tetapi fitur yang tersedia belum sesuai bagi tenaga pendidik. Google form belum sesuai digunakan sebagai media menyelenggarakan kuis karena masih terdapat kekurangan seperti tidak terdapat batasan waktu pengerjaan untuk tiap soal, media yang bisa ditambahkan terbatas, dan lain-lain. Karena itu tim dosen Universitas Dinamika memberikan solusi berupa pelatihan aplikasi Quizizz bagi tenaga pendidik di SMKN 10 Surabaya. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tenaga pendidik mendapatkan jawaban terhadap permasalahan yang mereka temui. Sekarang pemberian kuis ke anak didik secara daring dapat dilakukan tanpa khawatir anak didik akan berbuat curang. Diharapkan penulisan ini dapat menjadi informasi dan rujukan bagi tenaga pendidik untuk membuat kuis yang interaktif bagi anak didiknya.Kata kunci: Quizizz, SMKN 10 Surabaya, pandemic covid-19, Kuis, Daring

Abstract

XYZ adalah perusahaan yang merupakan industri pakaian jadi dengan produk fashion berbahan kain batik. Menurut data tahun 2020 output perusahaan rata-rata mencapai 2.500 pcs pertahun. Berdasarkan data pesanan pada periode tahun 2018 hingga 2020 menjelaskan permintaan produk pesanan berada di bawah tingkat produksi. Besaran persentase selisih kekurangan yang harus dipesan oleh bagian gudang pada bulan berikutnya berada di nilai rata-rata 50,7% kain jenis A dan 50,8% kain jenis B dari persediaan gudang. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena tidak adanya pengendalian tentang kebutuhan bahan baku sehingga mengakibatkan terhentinya proses produksi dan keterlambatan pengiriman kepada pelanggan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, perlunya sebuah solusi pembuatan aplikasi yang dapat membantu dan mempermudah perencanaan pengendalian bahan baku pada PT. XYZ . Aplikasi dirancang untuk dapat merencanakan kebutuhan bahan baku. Dalam penerapannya dilengkapi dengan menerapkan metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP) menggunakan Lot Sizing teknik Lot-for-Lot (LFL) dengan menggunakan black-box testing sebagai metode pengujiannya. Karena pemesanan stok dilakukan hanya bila terdapat order customer yang masuk saja dan dapat dikatakan memperhatikan pada sisi kebutuhan bersih perusahaan. Hasil testing aplikasi menunjukan bahwa aplikasi dapat berjalan sesuai fungsinya dan perhitungan Material Requirement Planning (MRP) berfungsi sesuai harapan.
