Abstract

Development and Application of Information Technology (PPTI) is one part in the Institute of Business and Informatics Stikom Surabaya (Stikom). PPTI has the responsibility to develop and implement Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Stikom Surabaya. PPTI has a wide range of services provided to users. However, PPTI still have not had a service catalogue. Service catalogue is needed to control and evaluate the services provided to users. Based on these problems, it is necessary to make a service design draft to meet the needs of the service catalogue. The service design is based on Service Design standard in the framework of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL v3). This research resulted in the business impact analysis document, service policy, the service description and service catalogue. The resulting document will be useful as a reference to control and evaluate the services provided to users.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems faced by the administration in making payment PMB registration, re-registration and payment of tuition payment per month is still done manually so that the schools often miss evidence of payment has been recorded. Then in making a payment summary report can be spent primarily to determine a decision as anyone who has not made a payment. The solution provided is creating and designing applications operating expenses based education website,because it can minimize recording errors and report transactions that may occur if done manually. Based on the trial results indicate that these applications can be overcome and reduce the problems that occur in the process of education operating expenses. In addition, the application also allows the administration when where a student is late to pay spp system will automatically send SMS notifications to parents in the form of a guardian. Keywords: Payments, Operating Expenses of Education, PG-TK Al-Olive Waru Sidoarjo

Abstract

Pengembangan Media Baru (PMB) is part of information management data used to support the broadcast, such as : save the news will be broadcast, save songs, supporting tasks broadcast in the scope of Radio RRI Surabaya. PMB also collect temporary news from all third class station in East Java and then sent it to first class station at a certain time span. So far, PMB had Confidentiality problems is saving news error that doesn’t match with the planning. The impact of this problem is disruption of the broadcaster to read the news, so that live broadcast become inaccurate. From integrity side is the wholeness of the news coverage results directly accessed was incomplete. The woleness of the news coverage of incomplete results will have an impact on the fall of broadcast event rating and influencing the quality of that event. From availability side, is the delay of provision of information, news, live events, entertainment, and advertising. It can lead to the risk of decrease trust level from listeners and stakeholders RRI Surabaya, and causing losses for RRI Surabaya.Referring to the results of the reviews, surveys, and interviews that have been done, so standard ISO 27002: 2005 is selected. There are three clause assigned is human resources security (Clause 8), the secure area (Clause 9), access control (Clause 11).The result of the calculation process maturity level of audit information security on the PMB RRI Surabaya is 2.55 which is repeatable. That results showed the most of information security process at PMB RRI Surabaya is still in the development stage with limited documentation.

Abstract

Parahita Diagnostic Center (PDC) is a company engaged in the field of public health service, particularly in the field of laboratory. PDC using technology that is integrated and centralized called Parahita Information System (PARIS) for running and supporting existing business processes. Implementation of the (PARIS) has some problems: frequent occurrence of malicious code attacks, misuse by unauthorized parties, and lack of maintenance on the system. Existing obstacles which lead to some risk of data loss, misuse of data and information, failures in data processing and the performance of the system becomes impaired. In order to determine the cause of problems that may occur, PDC need to conduct a Information System Security Audit using the standard ISO 27002: 2005 as the best security. This audit process using ISACA developed stage and calculations of maturity model using CMMI. The scope used is clause 10, clause 12, clause 13, clause 14 and clause 15 which is adapted to the problem. The results obtained from the information system security audit is the level of maturity of 3,11 that is defined. It shows that most of the information systems security process already have rules and conducted on a regular basis. This research also produced recommendations which are used to improve the process of information systems owned by the PDC.

Abstract

PT Indonesia Magma Chain is a chain and conveyor maker company located in Demak, Central Java. PT Indonesia Magma Chain already invested in system and information technology (SIT) to manage reservations and sales transactions. But it can not run well, because the company is not doing a good plan at the time of SIT investment, such as providing applications that can not accommodate the needs and business procces of the PT Indonesia Magma Chain. Based on the above issues, the planning indentifying of the SIT requirements at PT Indonesia Magma Chain using method from John Ward and Joe Peppard, and SWOT analysis that will produce an application portfolio that is divided into 4 quadrants of McFarlan Strategic Grid and a road map of the SIT for 2 years starting from 2017 to 2018.

Abstract

Complaints handling services in a part of Penerapan dan Pengembangan Teknologi Informasi (PPTI) having a process handling incident performed only according the estimated, knowledge, and experience developers network or application. Recording the activities carried out when handle incident also only done by the staff who handle, so there was not history of the incident on the part PPTI. For that need to create procedure incident management that integrated with refer to Framework Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V-3. ITIL V-3 is a series of concepts and techniques infrastructure management, development, and information technology operations (TI) which focused on operational service and can give recommendation for the company about how to handle the incident and exactly used as benchmark for arrange the work structured to provide services company. The creation of this procedure incident management will produce standards consist of standars, procedures, and forms used incident management in Service Operation – ITIL V-3. The results of these research is produces 9 standars, 14 procedures, and 17 forms.

Abstract

The attendance of employees at the company is one of the important factors considered by the company, from the attendance data can be seen employees attendance level such as how often an employee is late for work, how often the employee's consent, or even alpha. However, the process of managing existing attendance in the representative office of SKK Migas Surabaya has several problems, such as the absence of data delay and does not relate processes such as employee absence permit, leave, and service in the process of managing employee attendance. With this application can help offices SKK Migas Surabaya manage employee attendance, prevent data loss in the absence of the permitting process, and provide authorization in stages in the process of application for permission, leave, and overtime

Abstract

Development and Application of Information Technology (PPTI) is part of Stikom Surabaya which has an important role in ensuring the course of Systems and Information Technology (STI) for each faculty. Complaints are facing is the PPTI still do not have a mechanism to manage the availability of what services they have to provide and improve. This led to the identification and measurement of actual availability of IT services in Surabaya Stikom PPTI be less than the maximum in the availability of supporting factors such as reliability, ease of maintenance, and ease of repair. To overcome these problems and increase availability in this study the use availability management of ITIL v3. In ITIL provided the best guide how to manage and improve the performance of the service. The process is done is part of the reactive and proactive activities activities. From the thesis made, documents produced in the form of document availability management along with policies, standards, and procedures for recovery for availability.

Abstract

The application of akademik.wima.ac.id is a media of information for student, lecture, and administration officer in Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya. The application is used to fill Study Plan Card (KRS) and Lecture’s Performance Evaluation Questionnaire; check Grades’ History, Students’ Activity Point, and Study’s Schedule. The result through observation and interview with students from Business Faculty is found out that some information has not been Up to Date and the limitedness access of the application use. The design to find the data of the application is using Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) method. Questionnaire is used to collect the data from 334 students of Business Faculty. Microsoft Excel is used to process the data. Descriptive Analysis, Validity and Reliability test is used SPSS 16, and data analysis is used Structural Equation Model (SEM). The result of this study shows the application has a positive and strong acceptance to students. Variables Mean of Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Conditions, Behavior Intention, and Use Behavior is 76,53% students agree and really agree and often and really often to use the application.

Abstract

Development and Application of Information Technology (PPTI) is part of Institute Business and Informatics Stikom Surabaya. PPTI’s Main Function is to support visions, missions, and goals. To achieving the visions, missions, and goals, PPTI must have a good plan, including the mechanism plan to manage the relations between PPTI it self and with the service user. The Mechanism process will be used by PPTI to fulfill the Stikom Surabaya Information Technology’s needs. to achiveing the goals, PPTI need to do some research that based on Information Technology Infrastructur Library v3 (ITIL v3) standart, which is Service Strategy. Process of making the document refered from Service Strategy process number 5, Business Relationship Management. The result of this research is service portfolio document which contain customer portfolio, socialization’s standart and procedure, training’s standart and procedure, user complaint’s standart and procedure, socialization’s policy, training’s policy, and user’s complaint policy, that will be used by PPTI later.
