Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis tumbuhan obat apa saja yang digunakan bagian organ tumbuhan apa saja yang digunakan, cara pengolahan tumbuhan obat, jenis penyakit  apa  saja  yang disembuhkan menggunakan tumbuhan obat oleh masyarakat Desa Kletek, Kecamatan Malaka Tengah, Kabupaten Malaka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah peneltian deskriptif, metode yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data yaitu dengan observasi langsung dan wawancara. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian terdapat 16 jenis yang  tergabung  dalam 13 famili  tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai obat tradisional untuk menyembuhkan penyakit pada manusia oleh masyarakat Desa Kletek yaitu Kecubung (D. metel L.), Jambu biji (P. guajava L.), Patikan kebo (E. hirta L.), Meniran (P. niruri L.), Papaya (C. papaya L.), Belimbing wuluh (A. bilimbi L.), Jarak pagar (J. curcas L.), Biduri (C. gigantea L), Pohon asam (T. indica L.), Kepok randu (C. pentandra L.), Beringin (F. benjamina L.), Kesambi (Z. oleosa L.), Kunyit (C. longa L.), Lengkuas (A. galanga L.),  Jahe (Z. officinale Roscoe), Daun Sirih (P. battle Linn.). Bagian tumbuhan yang digunakan  adalah  daun,  buah,  batang,  rimpang,  akar,  kulit.  Cara  pengolahan  yaitu  ditumbuk,  direbus, dikunya, diremas, diperas dan diberikan secara langsung. Adapun khasiat dari setiap jenis tumbuhan obat yang digunakan untuk menyembuhkan penyakit pada manusia berbeda-beda dimana dari 21 jenis penyakit atau gangguan kesehatan pada manusia yang dapat disembuhkan yaitu : ambeien, diare, kangker payudara, kencing manis, kencing batu, sakit telinga, malaria, sakit kepala, sakit gigi, sariawan, memperlancar air susu, amandel, bisul, patah tulang, cacar air, gatal-gatal, bengkak bernana, panu, batuk, perut sakit, kepala sakit. Jenis tumbuhan yang paling banyak digunakan adalah jambu biji, patikan kebo, jarak pagar, kesambi,dan sirih hutan

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out the types of medicinal plants used by the Watumite Village community, find out how to use each type of medicinal plant used and find out what medicinal plant booklets are used by the Watumite Village community. Watumite Village community is suitable for use as a biology learning medium. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). This research uses a qualitative and quantitative descriptive approach. The qualitative approach used is to describe the types of medicinal plants used by the Watumite Village community. Meanwhile, a quantitative approach was carried out by calculating the results of the validation of the booklet developed which was then analyzed descriptively. The results of research on medicinal plant identification based on interviews with 10 respondents living in 4 hamlets in Watumite Village obtained 32 types of medicinal plants originating from 22 families. The findings of 32 types of medicinal plants packaged as Biology learning media in booklet form have been validated by material experts and media experts with a percentage value of 85% from material experts and 84% from media experts, declared valid. The conclusions from this research are: (1) There are 32 types of medicinal plants used by the community in Watumite Village; (2) The use of each type of medicinal plant includes the part of the plant used as medicine, the type of disease treated, and the method of processing; (3) Development of a Medicinal Plants booklet for the Watumite Village Community is categorized as suitable as a biology learning medium.

Abstract

Health is a basic need for human life. With the advancement of medical technology in humans, it is increasingly modern, so that more people choose to go to the hospital or to the health center because the treatment services are more efficient. With more efficient treatment, traditional medicine is rarely found. Even though this treatment is rarely found, some people still use this treatment, due to considerable economic limitations. Therefore it is necessary to add to the community's insight regarding how to manage traditional medicinal plants to treat diseases in humans. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the respondents, determine the potential of medicinal plant species, the parts used to treat diseases and find out the habitus found in the village. Your naitimu. The type of research used is descriptive research, namely by direct observation. The method used in this study is semi-structured interviews. The research procedures include determining key informants, determining respondents, research instruments, interviews, exploration, documentation, identification, description and classification. The results of the study found 15 respondents who had knowledge about medicinal plants with an uneven ratio of the number of male and female respondents, consisting of 7 male respondents and 8 female respondents. The use of medicinal plants by the community is widely known and practiced by people aged 45–49 years. Obtained 18 types of medicinal plants, namely: Cashew (western cashew), Moringa (Moringa oleifera), Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus), Soursop (Annona muricata), Aromatic ginger (Kaempferia galanga), Turmeric (Turmeric is long), Curcuma (Curcuma zanthorrhiza), Pawpaw (Upload papaya), Red Amber (Jatropha), Ginger (Zingiber officinale), Patikan Kebo (Euphorbia hirta), For-For (Cylindrical orders), Guava (Psidium guajava), Meniran (Phyllanthus niruri), Kirinyuh (Chromolaena odorata), Mimosa (Mimosa chaste), African Leaf (Vernonia amygdalina) and Basil (Ocimum basilicum). The part of the plant used is the leaves (Leaf), Rhizomes (Rhizomes), Wants (Radix), Young (Stem), and Fruit peel(Pericarpium). There are 4 plant habitus namely herbs, shrubs, shrubs and trees The conclusion from this study was that there were 15 respondents consisting of 7 men and 8 women. The use of medicinal plants by the community is widely known and carried out by people aged 45–49 years. There were 18 types of plants that have medicinal potential. The parts of the plant used are leaves, fruit skin, rhizomes, stems and roots. There are 4 plant habitus namely herbs, shrubs, shrubs and trees.
