Abstract

One of the efforts to fulfill the community's nutritional resources derived from animal protein is by broiler farming business. In order for broiler chickens to achieve optimal productivity then the provision of proper rations in both quality and quantity must be met, but the obstacle in improving the quality of the ration is the cost of ration is large enough. It is necessary to research the feed material that is able to meet the needs of broiler chicken one of them is the leaves kelor. This research used broiler strain CP-707 as much as 60 tail. The method used is CRD (Completely Randomized Design) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were rations with no addition of moringa flour (PO), ration with addition of 3% maize flour (P1), ration with addition of 6% maize flour (P2), ration with addition of maize flour 9% (P3), ration with the addition of 12% maize flour (P4). The variables observed in this study were carcass weight, carcass percentage and non carcass percentage. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the addition of moringa flour on ration to 12% level on carcass weight, carcass percentage and non carcass percentage statistically show different not significant.

Abstract

This study was held at BPTU-HPT Denpasar which located in Pangyangan Village, Pekutatan Sub-district, Jembrana Regency conducted from January 18, 2017 - April 18, 2017. Analysis of nutritional content was performed at the Laboratory of the Agriculture Faculty of Warmadewa University and the Udayana University Faculty of Animal Husbandry Laboratory. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of cutting age on production and quality of nutrition Indigofera sp.The Method of this study did use on Complete Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 3 groups and 4 treatment of cutting age. The treatments in this study were P1 (45 days of Cutting Age), P2 (60 days of cutting age), P3 (75 days of cutting age), and P4 (90 days of cutting age). The results showed that the effect of different cutting age gave a most real effect (P

Abstract

Forage is the main source of feed for ruminants, both for basic living, growth, production and reproduction. The provision and quality of forage will determine the productivity and development of ruminants. To achieve this, several quality and high production forages have been developed, one of which is Setaria Grass. The way to improve grass product and quality is fertilization using organic fertilizers. Research has been carried out with the aim of knowing the quality of Setaria grass (Setaria sphacelata) fed with cow manure and goat manure with different doses. This study used a 4 × 2 factorial randomized block design (RAK), where 2 types of fertilizer treatments (Factor A) and 4 fertilizer dosage treatments (Factor B) consisted of 8 treatments, namely: D0S without the addition of cow fertilizer), D1S (addition Cow Fertilizer 10 tons / Ha), D2S (Addition of Cow Fertilizer 20 tons / Ha), D3S (Increase Cow Fertilizer 30 tons / Ha), D0K (Without Addition of Goat Fertilizer), D1K (Addition of Goat Fertilizer 10 tons / Ha), D2K (Addition of Goat Fertilizer 20 tons / Ha), and D3K (Addition of Goat Fertilizer 30 tons / Ha). Each treatment was repeated 3 times. The results showed that the type of fertilizer (Factor A) had a significant effect (P <0.05) on the levels of ash, crude protein, crude fiber and fat. Fertilizer dosage (factor B) significantly (P> 0.05) the content of crude protein, crude fiber and crude fat. There was an interaction between the type of fertilizer and the fertilizer dose on the ash content, and crude fiber of Setaria sphacelata grass

Abstract

Super free-range chicken which is currently a very lucrative new business opportunity because the demand for free-range chicken has increased significantly due to high consumer demand. The type of agricultural waste that can be used as ration material is sweet potato stove. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of fermented sweet potato stover flour in the ration on the carcass crumbs of super free-range chicken aged 10 weeks, to find out what percentage of the level of use of fermented sweet potato stover flour in the ration that was able to provide the best results on the super-fried free-range chicken carcass. 10 weeks old. The research design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) which consisted of 5 treatments, namely: R0 (without the addition of sweet potato stover flour), R1 (addition of non-fermented sweet potato stover flour 3%), R2 (addition of fermented sweet potato stover flour 3), %), R3 (addition of fermented sweet potato stover flour 6%), R4 (addition of 9% fermented sweet potato stover flour). Each treatment was repeated 3 times. The use of sweet potato stover flour in the ration had no significant effect (P>0.05) on carcass weight, thigh weight, chest weight, back weight and wing weight. The use of sweet potato stover flour in the ration tends to be higher at the 3% level of fermented sweet potato stover flour, but it does not give a significant effect.
