Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between inflation, interest rates, money supply, and economic development in Indonesia from 2006 to 2023. Data collection techniques used include documentation and literature studies collected from various sources (such as files). Researchers also use the BPS and BI websites to collect data. Multiple linear regression analysis and explanatory quantitative analysis using Eviews 12 are used in this study. The study findings show that from 2006 to 2023, the amount of money in circulation, interest rates (birate), and inflation (ihk) all have an impact on the development of the Indonesian economy. However, the amount of money in circulation has a negative and insignificant effect, interest rates have a negative and insignificant impact, while inflation has a positive and significant impact.

Abstract

M2 money demand in Indonesia is influenced by crucial macroeconomic factors such as real GDP, inflation, BI Rate, and economic uncertainty, but their effects are not empirically consistent. This study aims to analyze the influence of these variables on M2 money demand for the 2010Q1-2024Q4 period. Using a quantitative approach with secondary quarterly time series data from BPS, BI, and FRED (60 observations), the analysis was conducted through the Error Correction Model (ECM) in EViews 10 including the ADF test, OLS, Engle-Granger cointegration, and classical assumption tests. The results show that real GDP has a significant positive effect in both the long term (β = 2.153708; p = 0.0000) and short term (γ = 0.287925; p = 0.0361), while inflation, interest rates, and the uncertainty index are insignificant. ECT = -0.151084 (p = 0.0084) indicates an adjustment of 15.11% per period. The study concludes that GDP is the main driver of M2 with implications for monetary policy focusing on economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the determinant factors for employment in the laying hen farming sector. In this research, the independent variable is used where (wages X1, productivity X2 and capital X3) and the dependent variable is (labor absorption Y). The aim of this research is to find out whether wages, productivity and capital influence labor absorption in egg-laying chicken farming businesses in Sidrap Regency, which is known as one of the largest egg-laying chicken producing districts in South Sulawesi. The method used is quantitative descriptive. The sample in this research consisted of 85 egg-laying chicken farming business units in Sidrap Regency. Sampling was carried out by taking the entire population considering that the population was less than 100 units. Research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 85 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, it can be seen that wages and capital have a positive effect on labor absorption, while productivity has no effect on labor absorption in egg-laying chicken farming businesses in Sidrap Regency.
