Abstract

Indonesia as a developing country has a considerable growth in motor vehicles. Unlike other countries, the growth of motor vehicles is quite large motorcycle. In the last few years, the study of the relationship between weather and transportation is mostly done in the region or country with four seasons different in climate condition or in developed countries with good public transport conditions. It is still few to do research in developing countries, with poor public transport conditions and other problems. Yogyakarta is a city with tropical climate that it only has two types of weather conditions, namely dry and rainy seasons, which the both  will affect motorcyclists in Yogyakarta becoming the majority. In this study,  the author used a qualitative and quantitative approach to find the impact of weather changes on motorcyclists travel behavior. From the results of the study, it was found that the number of motor users was reduced by more than 30% when the weather changed. Broadly speaking, there are three behaviors of motorcyclists when the weather changes namely, wait until the weather back to normal, cancel the trip and continue the journey however in the conditions due to some reasons.

Abstract

Abstract Research on the relationship between weather and transportation has several benefits, such as to anticipate the weather-induced impacts on travel behavior and transport activities and to assist the Government to pay attention to weather factors in every decision, both in the planning and implementation of a program. Indonesia is a tropical country that has only two types of weather conditions, namely dry and rainy, and both can affect the transport system, either directly or indirectly. In this study, the perception and experience of passengers as the primary data were used to find the relationship between weather and public transportation. Then the data were analyzed through qualitative and quantitative approach. From this study it is known that the number of public transport passengers increased during heavy rains by 8.9%, when strong winds of 10.1%, and increased by 3% during hot weather. The weather also affects the desire, travel behavior, perceptions of the condition of public transport, the type of vehicle used, the time of departure, and the travel decisions. Keywords: public transport, weather variability, travel behavior, passenger perception  Abstrak Penelitian tentang hubungan antara cuaca dan transportasi memiliki beberapa keuntungan, seperti untuk mengantisipasi dampak yang disebabkan cuaca terhadap perilaku perjalanan dan aktivitas transportasi serta untuk membantu Pemerintah agar memperhatikan faktor cuaca di setiap keputusan, baik dalam perencanaan maupun implementasi suatu program. Indonesia merupakan negara beriklim tropis yang hanya memiliki dua jenis kondisi cuaca, yaitu kemarau dan penghujan, dan keduanya dapat mempengaruhi sistem transportasi, baik langsung maupun tidak langsung. Pada studi ini digunakan persepsi dan pengalaman penumpang sebagai data primer untuk mencari hubungan antara cuaca dan angkutan umum. Kemudian dilakukan analisis melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dari studi ini diketahui bahwa jumlah penumpang angkutan umum mengalami peningkatan saat hujan deras sebesar 8,9%, saat angin kencang sebesar 10,1%, dan meningkat 3% saat cuaca panas. Cuaca juga mempengaruhi keinginan, travel behavior, persepsi terhadap kondisi angkutan umum, jenis kendaraan yang digunakan, waktu keberangkatan, dan keputusan-keputusan melakukan perjalanan. Kata-kata kunci: angkutan umum, cuaca, perilaku perjalanan, persepsi penumpang

Abstract

The case of construction accident that occurred mid-2019 and seized a lot of attention in the surrounding community is a construction accident on the implementation of underpass construction project located in Yogyakarta. The underpass excavation wall in this project collapsed then led two vehicles are fall. Although the types of accidents are almost identical to each project, it does not mean that the same reason causes the accidents. Various methods can carry out efforts to prevent work accidents, one of which is with assessment method and risk analysis using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) which sub indicators are determined using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). The method conducted with a review in the site by referring to Ministerial Regulation No. 21 year 2019 about the SMKK (Construction Safety Management System) guidelines. This research was conducted to identify the factors and indicators of management of thesupervisory consultant and the contractor. They had a significant influence and contribution to the implementation of the Yogyakarta Kentungan Underpass construction project. The results of this early-stage study served into two outcomes. First, the accuracy of the implementation of construction safety management system based on the assessment of the contractor is 85.938% and the percentage level of accuracy of the supervisory consultant is 97.29%. Both percentages fall into the category of Satisfactory Implementation Assessment because the valuation range is included between 85% to 100%. Second, after analyzing the risk using AHP method, the indicator that is used as a reference priority for the construction safety system of underpass construction projects and has the highest risk level that can causean underpass project construction accident from the contractor's point of view is the sub-indicator of supporting facilities and infrastructure with a risk level value of 0.042 whereas from the supervisory consultant’ perspective is the sub-indicator about to measuring the dimensions of the road building installed in the site with a risk level value of 0.052. Abstract

Sebagai solusi dari masalah transportasi di perkotaan dengan konsep berkelanjutan, Trans Jogja dikembangkan dengan harapan menjadi moda transportasi terbaik untuk diterapkan di Kota Yogyakarta. Namun sejauh penelitian yang terkait dengan status keberlanjutan Trans Jogja belum dilakukan dengan spesifik. Maka dari itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji aspek keberlanjutan Trans Jogja ditinjau dari aspek ekonomi; sosial; peraturan dan aspek  kelembagaan;lingkungan; teknologi dan infrastruktur. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Multi-dimensional Scaling (MDS) untuk mengevaluasi indikator keberlanjutan angkutan umum Trans Jogja menggunakan software Rapfish. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kondisi trans jogja memiliki kategori kurang berkelanjutan dengan skor indeks 49,54. Aspek lingkungan memiliki nilai terendah dengan indeks sebesar 34,21 pada kategori  kurang berkelanjutan, sedangkan empat aspek lainnya tergolong  cukup berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan perencanaan dan kebijakan yang dapat meningkatkan indikator keberlanjutan aspek lingkungan Trans Jogja. Hal ini akan mencegah efek domino yang nantinya akan berdampak pada aspek lain dan memperburuk kondisi Trans Jogja berdasarkan aspek kerberlanjutan.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah penduduk serta perkembangan ekonomi mengakibatkan pertumbuhan jumlah pengendara roda dua, pengendara roda empat mengalami peningkatan yang cukup besar untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pergerakan atau aktivitas yang di lakukan masyarakat. KRL Commuter Line merupakan salah satu sarana transportasi yang diberikan pemerintah guna memenuhi kebutuhan tranportasi serta mengurangi kemacetan. KRL Commuter Line merupakan kereta yang berlayanan dengan listrik yang di jalankan oleh PT. Kereta Commuter Indonesia yang merupakan anak perusahaan dari PT. Kereta Api Indonesia. Metode analisis syarat kelayakan finansial menggunakan metode perhitungan Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) dan Break Event Point (BEP). Hasil analisis kelayakan finansial pada KRL Commuter Line rute Jogja-Solo pada kondisi optimis diperoleh hasil perhitungan dengan parameter Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp. 704.640.990.600,21, Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) sebesar 2,09 > 1 (Proyek layak), Break Even Point (BEP) sebesar 4 Tahun 9 Bulan 3 Minggu < umur rencana proyek , Internal Rate of Ratio (IRR) sebesar 39,82%. Sedangkan pada kondisi pesimis diperoleh hasil perhitungan dengan parameter Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp. 686.398.637.324,00, Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) sebesar 2,07 > 1 (Proyek layak), Break Even Point (BEP) sebesar 4 Tahun 10 Bulan 2 Minggu < umur rencana proyek, Internal Rate Of Ratio (IRR) sebesar 38,91%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara finansial beroperasinya KRL Commuter Line rute Jogja-Solo dinilai layak dengan pengembalian dana mencapai beberapa tahun setelah beroperasinya KRL. Hal ini dapat membuat para investor menjadi ragu, namun pemerintah melihat dari segi finansial sangat layak dan sebagai bentuk pelayanan terhadap masyarakat dalam menyediakan transportasi yang murah, cepat, dan efektif.

Abstract

The Lahat Lubuklinggau railroad line is a strategic railroad line in the DIVRE III area of South Sumatra. Several incidents have occurred there in recent years. The incidents indicate the condition of the railroad at Lahat Lubuklinggau crossing is prone to landslides and subsidence areas, which can disrupt rail traffic. Consequently, it results in the inconvenience of train travel, which threatens the safety of rail traffic if not immediately get comprehensive repair. This study aims to analyze the vulnerability of slopes in the Lahat-Lubuklinggau railroad area using the GEO5 program to determine the slope safety number, which shows the stability of the slopes. GEO5 programs are designed to perform deformation and stability analysis in geotechnical engineering. The analytical methods used include Bishop, Fellenius, Spencer, and Janbu. After modeling and analyzing slopes using the GEO5 program, the soil reinforcement increased the safety factors according to SNI 8460:2017. With the use of slope reinforcement, the increased value of the safety factor supports the operation of train travel in the Lahat Lubuklinggau South Sumatra.

Abstract

The occurrence of earthquakes will cause damage to building structures as well as damage to soil structures. One of the impacts is Liquefaction, which is a process or event of changing the state of the soil from a solid state to a liquid state caused by a cyclic load at the time of the earthquake so that there is a change in the voltage in the soil. Analysis method of potential liquefaction using simplified method, based on SPT and CPT data. From the data, cyclic stress ratio (CSR), Cyclic Resistant Ratio (CRR) and security factors were obtained. Based on the calculation analysis, it is known that there is a potential liquefaction in YIA area with different depth variations according to the location of data retrieval with an earthquake magnitude of 7.5 SR.

Abstract

Evacuation routes are important component during evacuation process, but sometimes the evacuation route conditions are not ready to use for evacuation. The good evacuation route can be seen from various aspects including width, pavement conditions and associated with the load or density during the evacuation process. An evacuation route need to optimize, but it is very difficult, due to time and cost constraints that cause not all available routes become good choices during evacuation. So it is necessary to select a good route for evacuation. In this study, the best evacuation routes are select using AHP method to analyze the priority of evacuation route. The criteria including the shortest distance and pavement conditions. Of the 20 available routes, seven routes are becomes recommended evacuation route. This research provides practical recommendations for improving road conditions and increasing capacity on specific routes to enhance evacuation efficiency in the disaster-prone areas of Merapi.

Abstract

Kondisi perusahaan batik yang masih jauh dari kata nyaman mengharuskan perusahaan untuk mengkondisikan stasiun kerja sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Buruknya kondisi ini dapat mengakibatkan kecelakaan kerja yang dapat membahayakan pekerja. Diperlukan adanya pengaturan untuk meminimalisir adanya potensi kecelakaan kerja. Pengaturan ini bertujuan meningkatkan performa kerja seperti menambah kecepatan kerja, akurasi, keselamatan kerja, mengurangi pemborosan tempat dan waktu. 5S sebagai salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk bisa mempermudah problem yang ada saat ini di sentra industri batik Bayat. Metode ini digunakan mengingat skala UMKM yang masih tergolong kecil, namun membutuhkan adanya pembenahan untuk meningkatkan kinerja dari keseluruhan proses yang ada. 5S sebagai metode yang sederhaana dapat diterapkan oleh perusahaan kecil maupun perusahaan besar sekalipun. Program 5S diharapkan menghilangkan pemborosan yang ada dapat diminimalkan sehingga terjadi peningkatan produktifitas dan efektivitas dari perusahaan. Kendala yang masih dirasakan saat ini, masih belum adanya pencatatan pengadaan barang secara terperinci. Hal ini menjadikan industri rumahan di daerah Bayat ini belum bisa memaksimalkan sumber daya yang ada untuk mendapatkan keuntungan yang lebih besar. Konsep 5S yang sederhana sering terabaikan. Industri tanpa 5S tak akan mampu berprestasi secara layak. 5S merupakan budaya tentang bagaimana seseorang memperlakukan tempat kerja secara benar. Tempat kerja yang tertata rapi, bersih, dan tertib memudahkan pekerjaan perorangan.

Abstract

The development of the construction sector in Indonesia is expected to increase annually.  Magelang had various large construction projects with a completion target of 2024. However, the use of construction technology in this region is limited resulting in delays in work, increased costs, and decreased quality. This study aims to identify, analyze, and rank factors influencing the use of technology in construction projects in Magelang based on their level of importance. Understanding those factors can help identify the right strategy to increase the wider and optimal adoption of technology in the construction sector for effective and efficient implementation. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires. The questionnaire consisted of 30 factors influencing the use of technology classified into three main categories: (1) human/workforce, (2) industry, and (3) management. This study found the first rank for each category, namely "lack of experience in using technology software" (human/labor category), "Availability of materials and ease of handling" (Industry category), and "Willingness of owners, supervisors, builders, and suppliers to participate in information management" (management category). Construction industry practitioners can utilize the findings of this study in developing systems to improve technological adoption in construction projects for more effective and efficient project implementation.
