Abstract

Tujuan utama dari pembuatan mesin pemotong rumput pneumatic ini adalah untuk menjawab kebutuhan dilapangan sehingga dapat mempercepat proses pengerjaan dibandingkan dengan menggunakan alat konvensional berupa sabit dan tetap safety (aman) digunakan di lingkungan perminyakan dan gas khususnya di bidang storage (penyimpanan). Komponen utama yaitu kompresor, ball valve, dial gauge, rangka mesin, propeller (kipas), dan pisau pemotong. Untuk dapat memotong rumput dengan sempurna maka di perlukan daya kompresor minimal 3 Hp.

Abstract

Pirolisis-gasifikasi biomassa untuk menghasilkan syngas dengan kandungan hydrogen telah dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ukuran serbuk dan kekerasan kayu terhadap kualitas syngas yang dihasilkan ditinjau dari konsentrasi gas hidrogen yang dihasilkan. Serbuk kayu yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kayu jati, kayu kelapa dan kayu nangka dengan tingkat kekerasan jati > kelapa > nangka. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen yaitu pirolisis dengan menggunakan reaktor jenis fixed bed. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa serbuk kayu dengan ukuran lebih kecil menghasilkan kualitas syngas yang lebih baik dengan konsentrasi gas hidrogen yang lebih tinggi 2057 ppm dibandingkan dengan ketika menggunakan serbuk kasar sebesar 1972 ppm. Kekerasan kayu mempengaruhi proses dekomposisi dan konsentrasi hidrogen yang dihasilkan. Semakin keras kayu semakin rendah kualitas syngas yang dihasilkan. Kayu jati dengan kekerasan tertinggi menghasilkan syngas dengan konsentrasi hidrogen sebesar 1931 ppm sedangkan kayu nangka dengan kekerasan terendah menghasilkan syngas dengan konsentrasi hidrogen hingga 2898 ppm.

Abstract

Pelatihan bertujuan agar peserta dapat memahami cara pengelasan SMAW dengan benar dan berperilaku pentingnya K3 dalam proses pengerjaan pengelasan, mengidentifkasi potensi bahaya di tempat kerja, melakukan pencegahan kecelakaan kerja, mengelola bahan-bahan beracun berbahaya dan penanggulangannya, menggunakan alat pelindung diri, melakukan pencegahan dan pemadaman kebakaran serta menyusun program pengendalian Keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja di bengkel. Pelatihan ini bertempat di workshop Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan. Peserta pelatihan sebanyak 10-15 orang tukang bengkel las yang berasal dari sekitaran kota Banjarmasin dengan instruktur dosen Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin sebanyak 3 orang dan dibantu Mahasiswa Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin sebanyak 3 orang. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, demonstrasi dan penugasan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta memiliki wawasan, pemahaman dan sikap bekerja yang selamat dan sehat, yang meliputi Pengertian dan Tujuan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Identifikasi Potensi Bahaya di Tempat Kerja Faktor-faktor Penyebab Kecelakaaan Kerja Zat dan Bahan Berbahaya Pencegahan dan Pemadaman Kebakaran dan Penyusunan Program Pengendalian K3 dalam upaya peningkatan produktifitas kerja. Peserta juga mampu menyusun rencana kerja berupa makalah pengendalian bahaya di bengkel kerja masing-masing.

Abstract

The strength of welded joints is influenced by a wide variety of factors. One of them is due to structural changes as a result of the heating process. In order for the connection between the two metal parts to have good quality, it is necessary to have a proper welding and the connection and the shape of the weld bevel are in accordance with the use of the results of the weld. Parameters in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) welding include current strength, voltage, electrical polarity, and the angle of the joint used. These parameters make the basis for the right selection in order to get a good quality or connection quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of bevel variations on the tensile strength test of the SMAW welding process connection on medium carbon steel material. The welding process is carried out using RB 26 type electrodes using a current of 100 A at 1 G welding position, welding is carried out on the material using V, I and double V bevel with 1 specimen per bevel. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the type of joint bevel has an important influence on the results of the weld. From the variation of the bevel that has the highest tensile strength value, it is V bevel rather than double V bevel and 1 bevel. Due to the variation of V bevel has a small distortion angle compared to double V bevel and I bevel. Optimal electric welding results depend on the welding process technique.

Abstract

The development of technology is currently so fast, this is of course very influential in various aspects of people's lives that demand to get everything done quickly, precisely, easily and accurately. One of them is in terms of renting a house or inn which requires speed, convenience, accuracy and accuracy in the data processing process. Because of this, the author designed a guest house rental information system so that the guest house rental process is carried out quickly and makes it easy for prospective tenants to get information about the availability of the house to be rented without having to come directly to the place. The development of the information system uses the waterfall method to build the system and uses the HTML, PHP and MySQL database programming languages.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the right Cash Management Accounting Information System for Rezeky sources and to produce a Cash Flow Information System, namely Web-Based Cash Receipts and Cash Disbursements. The theoretical framework is to analyze the Cash Management Accounting Information System by analyzing the information needed by management, related functions, a network of procedures, accounting documents and records used, flowcharts, and the current internal control system. The developed application program is the first step, which is carried out by designing relationships between tables, interfaces, and outputs. This study found that all daily cash records at Sumber Rezeky still use financial report books and notes. The author suggests using a web-based cash receipt and cash disbursement application to help Sumber Rezeky record customer data, record cash management transactions, and make it easier to find information on cash receipts and disbursement transactions.

Abstract

Industrial and agency activities are currently strongly influenced by electricity supply from PLN. When the PLN electricity goes out, the generator will immediately turn on and all loads previously electrified by PLN power will move to the generator. This displacement occurs quickly and not gradually. Diesel engines (engines) will receive high loads when conditions are still not hot. Diesel engines take longer to heat compared to gasoline engines. This condition is referred to as overcooling. This study uses a bypass heater system to accelerate the heating process and prevent overcooling. From experiments that have been conducted show that the use of a heater as 3000 W for generators with a size of 400 kVa can reduce the heating period by 17 minutes (54%). In addition, it can reduce fuel consumption by an average of 0.5 lt/h during the heating period

Abstract

The Culinary Management Department is one of the leading majors that is in great demand by the public at SMKN 4 in the city of Banjarmasin. This department is also one of the outstanding departments because it often wins champions in School Skills Competitions (LKS) and actively participates in activities held by both the city government and national level, such as exhibitions and so on. Even though the Culinary Department is an outstanding department, there are several problems, including a lack of knowledge about the use of technology to support students in becoming entrepreneurs after graduating from school. Abstract

MA Nurul Islam is a private school located in Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The ability of most high school students to use computer technology is still below minimum standards, especially in the field of graphic design. This can be seen in some students who take computer subjects with limited materials and facilities at the school. The aim of this service is to create MA Nurul Islam students who have knowledge and creativity in the computer field, especially for graphic design applications, as well as educate students in using graphic design applications, one of which is Photoshop. It is hoped that students can design and develop their creative talents in the field of design. This activity is carried out using a comprehensive mentoring method for MA Nurul Islam students through socializing graphic design applications using Photoshop by practicing making poster designs as objects that will be produced in this service activity. The final outcome achieved from this activity is increasing students' abilities to use computers, especially in the field of graphic design using Photoshop

Abstract

abstrak Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, adalah: (1) memberikan pelatihan pemrograman CNC berbasis software CADCAM dengan metode yang baik dan benar; (2) meningkatkan keterampilan pemrograman CNC berbasis software CADCAM bagi guru Jurusan Teknik Mesin SMK N 5 Banjarmasin. Target luaran yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan ini adalah Peserta dapat mengetahui bagaimana cara membuat program CNC di aplikasi software Master Cam, Peserta dapat memahami, menerapkan program CNC di aplikasi software Master Cam pada siswa SMKN 5 Banjarmasin, Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakam metode pelatihan pemula dan evaluasi. Evaluasi dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan pelatihan. KATA KUNCI: CADCAM, CNC, MASTERCAM Abstract The objectives of this community service activity are: (1) to provide CNC programming training based on CADCAM software with a good and correct method; (2) improve CNC programming skills based on CADCAM software for Mechanical Engineering Department teachers at SMK N 5 Banjarmasin. The target output produced from this activity is that Participants can find out how to make CNC programs in the Master Cam software application, Participants can understand, apply the CNC program in the Master Cam software application to students of SMKN 5 Banjarmasin, Banjarmasin Polytechnic State Service Journal.
