Abstract

This study aimed to assist Universitas Budidarma in deciding the recipients of the Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP Kuliah) scholarship program. KIP Kuliah is managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and aims to support academically talented students in furthering their education in higher education institutions. The study utilized a Decision Tree data mining classification method with the C4.5 and Cart algorithms. The results showed that if a potential student has the KIP Kuliah scholarship and a high test score, they will pass the verification and validation process. The accuracy of the C4.5 and Cart algorithms was 100% due to the use of matching data in the research. This study aims to make the selection process for KIP Kuliah recipients more efficient and targeted.

Abstract

Lamegogo Farm merupakan salah satu kelompok tani yang bergerak dalam bidang ternak kambing/domba dan Usaha pertanian yang terletak di Jl. Amerta Dusun Ampera Desa Karang Rejo, Kecamatan Stabat, Kabupaten Langkat Sumatera Utara. Kandang yang dibangun diatas area lahan dengan luas 0,5 hektar yang digunakan secara terintegrasi antara perternakan kambing/domba dan sisa dari lahan tersebut dimamfaatkan untuk lahan pertanian. Kandang yang saat ini dibangun untuk kapasitas 150 ekor ternak kambing domba, dan saat ini baru diisi dengan 75 ekor ternak, kandang yang terisi masih 50% dari kapasitas kandang yang tersedia. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh mitra adalah belum adanya pemamfaatan sumber energi listrik sebagai penerangan, sistem pengelolaan peternakan masih secara manual dan untuk sistem pertanian masih menggunakan pupuk kimia. Solusi yang ditawarkan melalui kegiatan Program Kegiatan Kemandirian Masyarakat (KKM) terhadap permasalahan mitra adalah melalui metode pemamfaatan energi matahari sebagai energi ramah lingkungan dalam bentuk pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) Atap, metode selanjutnya yang dijadikan solusi adalah dengan memberikan edukasi dalam bentuk pelatihan pengolahan pupuk orgganik padat dan pupuk organik cair yang diolah dari kotoran dan urin ternak kambing/domba. Hasil dari pelaksanaan program tersebut didapatkan bahwa saat ini dilingkungan kandang lamegogo farm sudah terpasang PLTS Atap yang terdiri dari 4 keping panel surya kapasitas 200 Watt Peak, untuk mensuplay kebutuhan energi listrik. Hasil lain yang sudah dicapai dalam pelaksanaan program juga sudah dilaksanakan pelatihan pengolahan pupuk organik. Dengan adanya program diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan peningkatan sosial ekonomi kelompok tani lamegogo farm.

Abstract

North Sumatra is home to the settlement of Lau Gumba. As a hamlet, there is still information that has not been widely disseminated by electronic means of communication. Designing an information system is important as a result. The use of technology has transformed how people obtain information and data. In both public and private institutions, technology helps organize management systems and labor processes. The usage of the Village Information System is one of the uses of information technology in village life (SID). This village information system was created utilizing the prototyping process, which is common for creating village information systems. As a result, a prototype model for a website-based savings and loan application was created. For the purpose of gathering data, observations, interviews, and literature reviews were made. The administration level of access is provided by the design of the village information system, and it includes entity relationship diagrams in the database design in addition to analysis, design, coding, and testing services. The availability of a website-based village information system would make it easier for village officials to process village information data and provide information on village government in Lau Gumba Village more effectively and efficiently.Additionally, researchers introduced components of widely informed activities. As a way of information in web development in Lau Gumba Village utilizing the prototype approach in design, the village information system is outfitted with a web-based display so that users can modify the content in the system.

Abstract

Cooperatives as a form of organization that is important in increasing economic growth. Savings and loans cooperatives are one of the alternatives for members to get funds in an effort to improve the standard of living, meet daily needs and develop a business. In addition, savings and loan cooperatives are also one of the options for investing funds (saving). People like to save in savings and loan cooperatives because in addition to the accused, they also get year-end interest or can also get residual business proceeds.  At the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs in Medan Helvetia District, the process of processing savings and loans data is currently still doing manual methods. This kind of data processing can cause insecure data in storage. Therefore, the research will create a data processing system with sufficient computerization. So that the report that will be needed can later be processed appropriately by the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs of Medan Helvetia District. From the problems that have been obtained so that a solution can be obtained from its handling by implementing a web-based savings and loans application, hopefully this application can help the Medan Helvetia District Cooperatives and SMEs Office in handling the problem of processing savings and loan reports so that it does not take time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan metode Design Thinking dalam merancang aplikasi recording ternak untuk Kelompok Tani Karya Bersama dan menganalisis keefektifan metode tersebut dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginan pengguna. Metode Design Thinking digunakan untuk memahami secara mendalam tantangan dan kebutuhan Kelompok Tani Karya Bersama dalam pengelolaan data ternak mereka, serta menghasilkan solusi yang lebih baik melalui empat tahap yaitu Empati, Definisi, Ideasi, dan Prototipe. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Design Thinking dapat membantu pengembang aplikasi untuk memahami secara lebih baik kebutuhan dan keinginan pengguna. Dalam tahap Empati, peneliti memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang tantangan dan kebutuhan Kelompok Tani Karya Bersama dalam pencatatan data ternak mereka. Selanjutnya, tahap Definisi memungkinkan peneliti untuk mengidentifikasi masalah dan menetapkan fokus pengembangan aplikasi. Tahap Ideasi memungkinkan tim untuk menghasilkan berbagai ide solusi yang lebih baik dan Tahap Prototipe memungkinkan tim untuk membuat prototipe aplikasi yang dapat diuji coba oleh pengguna untuk mengevaluasi keefektifan dan kegunaannya. Dengan menggunakan metode Design Thinking dalam pengembangan aplikasi recording ternak, Kelompok Tani Karya Bersama dapat memperoleh solusi yang lebih baik dalam manajemen data ternak mereka. Aplikasi recording ternak yang dikembangkan dapat membantu mereka untuk lebih mudah dan akurat dalam mencatat dan mengelola data ternak mereka, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi usaha ternak mereka.

Abstract

Semenjak virus covid 19 menyebar ke pelosok negeri, hampir seluruh sector usaha mengalami penurunan pendapatan. Salah satunya adalah sector pariwisata. Saat ini sector pariwisata terus melakukan promosi untuk meningkatkan pendapatannya. Promosi dilakukan dengan menggunakan surat kabar, tv, youtube, website, augmented reality, dan masih banyak lagi. Teknologi augmented reality adalah media promosi yang dapat menyampaikan informasi secara menyeluruh. Augmented reality adalah penggabungan objek maya ke dalam dunia nyata. Augmented reality berbentuk aplikasi yang dapat diinstal pada smartphone, dan laptop/pc. Kabupaten labuhan batu juga memiliki tempat wisata yang harus dipromosikan, karena saat ini juga mengalami penurunan pendapatan. Untuk itu perlu dikenalkan mengenai pemanfaatan augmented reality sebagai media promosi kepada masyarakat sekitar labuhan batu terutama Siswa/i SMK Al-Bukhary. Diharapkan siswa/I dapat menciptakan augmented reality yang dapat digunakan untuk mempromosikan industry pariwisata di wilayah labuhan batu.

Abstract

Absence is a routine activity carried out by students every time they carry out learning activities. The attendance process at school is generally still done manually. So it takes a lot of time to learn and teach. Arduino is an open source technology. So that research was carried out related to this Radio Frequency Identification or RFID Arduino based attendance system. RFID has advantages over other attendance methods. This advantage is that there is no need to bring in students to record initial data like in the others. Furthermore, a web-based information system functions to manage student attendance. This information system was built using the PHP programming language and the Laravel framework. Laravel is a PHP framework that has functions to facilitate the development of web-based applications. Apart from that, Laravel also has a good application security system. So in this study the authors tried to develop an Arduino and Laravel RFID-based student attendance system as an attendance management application for admins. After doing research, PHP cannot read data via serial port directly. Therefore we need an additional desktop-based application. The desktop-based attendance application functions to retrieve data from Arduino and perform attendance to the database. The attendance process begins with the input of meeting material by the teacher. Based on the last meeting the teacher input the absence process by RFID is carried out. The results of this study are that the system can only handle one class for an Arduino RFID device.

Abstract

The mosque is a place used by Muslims for worship and a center for other Muslim activities, such as celebrating holidays, discussions, religious studies, lectures and studying the Qur'an. However, until now many mosques have not been able to take advantage of this extraordinary potential. This is due to the reason that there is still a lack of a system in dealing with administrative matters. Al-Ikhlas Mosque which is located in the village of KotaPari, kecamatan of Pantai Cermin, Kab. Serdang Bedagai is one of the mosques that is lacking in managing mosque activities. The reason is that these activities are less publicized to the congregation of the mosque so that many do not know about the activities at the Al-Ihklas Mosque. Administrative problems are also one of the reasons for the ineffectiveness of the activities carried out by BKM Al-Ikhlas. For this reason, we need a framework that can be used to deal with problems that exist in the Al-Iklhas mosque, Kota Pari. The purpose of building this website is to increase efficiency in managing mosque activities and make it easier for administrators to carry out administrative tasks. This website also helps in monitoring and tracking mosque finances, making it easier for administrators to conduct financial audits. Based on the existing problems, a web-based management information system for the activities of the Al-Iklhas mosque in Kota Pari Village is needed. The mosque activity management web is expected to be able to assist mosque administrators in increasing efficiency and transparency in the management of mosque activities and finances, so as to improve the quality of service to congregations and the community

Abstract

Drop out adalah keluar dari sekolah sebelum waktunya, atau sebelum lulus. Drop out demikian ini perlu dicegah,oleh karena hal demikian dipandang sebagai pemborosan bagi biaya yang sudah terlanjur dikeluarkan untuknya. Banyaknyapeserta didik yang drop out adalah indikasi rendahnya produktivitas pendidikan. Tingginya angka drop out juga bisamengganggu angka partisipasi pendidikan atau sekolah. Mahasiswa Drop Out adalah mahasiswa melebihi jangka waktu studidan atau melanggar ketentuan yang berlaku.Penggunaan Data Mining Clustering merupakan pengelompokan record, pengamatan, atau memperhatikan dalambentuk kelas objek – objek yang memiliki kemiripan yang satu dengan yang lainnya dan tidak memiliki rekord – record dalamkluster lain.Maka penulis merancang Data Mining Pengelompokan Mahasiswa Potensial Drop Out, karena sistem yang sedangberjalan pada STMIK Kaputama kurang baik. Hal ini memperlambat mengetahui data mahasiswa drop out.Dari hasil penelitian, hasil pengelompokan Group 1 dari 20 data terdapat sebanyak 5 Program Studi yaitu SI (S1),TI (S1), TI (D3), KA (D3), MI D3 yang terdapat pada STMIK Kaputama. Group 2 dari 20 data terdapat sebanyak 3 Jenis DropOut yaitu Keluar, Pindah, Cuti , Group 3 dari 20 data terdapat 5 Alasan Drop Out yaitu Tidak Mengikuti Kuliah 4 SemesterBerturut-turut, Kuliah Di Luar Kota, Terhambat Biaya, Bekerja , Sakit yang terdapat pada STMIK Kaputama.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a change in the learning and teaching process in Indonesia. The previous offline learning and teaching process has shifted to online. This change aims to prevent the spread of Covid-19. This change has necessitated the use of e-learning in the online learning and teaching process. E-learning is a medium used to deliver teaching materials from lecturers to students online. However, the use of e-learning in the online learning and teaching process is not the most suitable choice. This is because e-learning requires an internet connection and is usually more compatible when accessed through a laptop or computer rather than a smartphone. The requirements related to internet connectivity and compatibility have resulted in low mobility for students and lecturers in the learning and teaching process. They are unable to access the learning and teaching process anytime and anywhere when they are in a location without internet access or without a computer or laptop. Therefore, it is necessary to design and develop an e-learning platform specifically targeted for Android smartphones. This development is commonly referred to as mobile learning, which can be created using Android Studio. Mobile learning consists of several important pages such as login, register, class access, learning materials, and assignments. With the implementation of mobile learning, it is hoped that lecturers and students will be able to access the learning and teaching process anytime and anywhere through mobile learning.
